hey everyone insco here welcome back to another video today I'm reacting to the weekend's new song Dancing in the Flames now I normally react to EDM music here on the channel but I am secretly a huge fan of the weekend I started listening to him in like 2015 but it wasn't until last year that I went to see him and then I kind of just fell in love with his music all over again so he's got an album coming out soon called hurry up tomorrow which I'm really excited for I have no idea when that's coming out though but this is the first single from it it's called dancing in the Flames also music video was short on the new iPhone so I think they're using this in a bunch of iPhone adverts which to be honest kind of ruins it a little bit for me I feel like it just kind of Screams advert once you see it in an advert but either way enough of my rambling I'm excited to give it a listen so let's give it a listen okay I already got the simpy [Music] vibe while are racing love how you got like the top off and then like the base kind of moving in the bottom too also on the vocal it sounds kind of like like it's in a really small room like the reverb's really tight on that that's [Music] cool very Snappy [Music] drums beain I really like the processing on the vocal it's weird because it feels really like like it's in a box but it's quite cool and how The Sims complimented that there it's very poppy it's definitely like the uh the leading single of the album I feel like it's the one that like tries to get people to listen to it kind of like how blinding lights and that did it's kind of weird it's almost like a it's almost like a cross between like blinding lights and less than zero or change up drums or like a trappy [Music] feel love those Toms it's very sort of like at80 simp wave kind of thing very catchy Melody but if I miss the break I just love how like the I think there's like back in vocals on that second half that like really compliment [Music] it the [Music] Voda it's quite it's quite repetitive in terms of like the production I feel like it's got that it's got that sort of lead off the whole way through the song other than here the production's so simply like even there the simps move Swit it l my love beond the pain I do like it it's quite catchy face is kind of like not consistent it's kind of like an 808 or something here love the ad libs too and the harmonies that's [Music] sick I like it but I will say like now I've kind of seen it in an advert it feels like an advert song you know what I mean which is a shame cuz it kind of ruins it for me what's going on [Music] here interesting I wonder if that would lead into something on the album huh that's cool though I like it it's quite poppy it's it's a little bit repetitive and to be honest like I I see myself getting bored of it quite quick like if you listen to that a lot I feel like it'll become quite repetitive however I feel like in context of the album when you've got all the other songs in it it'll be just as enjoyable as all the other stuff I will say I think there's some stuff on the album which I'm more excited to hear than that just me in general when it comes to listening to the weekend stuff I'm not really someone to be like oh I like blinding lights and star boy and all of those really popular ones I prefer the ones that like are a bit less popular a bit more different and it's always the more poppy ones that are more popular so I kind of prefer the ones that are just like a little less poppy you know so I think with that being said out of 10 on the first listen I like it I'm excited for the new album is it going to be my favorite on the new album though probably not I'm going to give it a solid 7.5 out of 10 it's got room to Grom me I am still going to listen to it but I am eagerly waiting for the album it definitely has the uplifting Vibe I see it being all over the radio I see it being one that people sing at the concerts yeah now I just need an album release date because I I still don't think we got one yeah let me know you thought of the song in a comment section down below and or over in my Discord server with the link in the description and drop a like on the video If you enjoyed it subscribe and turn on notifications if you haven't already I normally post EDM reaction content here but I probably will be reacting to the weekend's album when that comes out so check that out if you want to but my name is inco and I hope to see you [Music] around ni your friends got drunk again 70 mes to feel
