hey what's going on everyone Gillis TV back here after a couple weeks off of doing YouTube just had to focus on work long hours 13-hour days and finally got some free time here to go over what we missed since last time I posted a video of course LeAndre CLE signing that massive extension becoming the highest paid player in the NHL and what about everything recently here we'll talk about that as well if you're new the channel like anything Oilers related or NHL related it could be trades rumors news signings whatever there is in the world of the NHL make sure to hit that subscribe button of course I'm an Oilers fan going to home opener this year hopefully that's a w in the first game but let's get into the news here of course Travis dermont coming into Edmonton on a PTO this is something I've kind of talked about with a couple other people is our left side is relatively shorthanded after Darnell Nur Matias EOL and Brett kulak now with the news of Darnell nurse lately they can I can see the Oilers possibly giving dermont a oneway onee you know $775 million contract just to fill that void in case Darnell nurse is not ready to go he is also fighting for a spot on the team here for that left side could try and force Brett kulak to give him that spot so interesting spring training training camp here for the Emmington Oilers when you think about it this guy that could come in relatively cheap and be a huge part of this Emington Oilers team from the GetGo so we'll see how this PTO goes out for Travis dermont now of course I just touched on it Darnell nurse uh he was rehabbing an injury apparently this summer he was at the captain skates but did not hardly get into any contact or board play he was kind of cautious about what was going on he was injured at the end of last season there throughout the playoffs so I can see darnel there slowly gaining momentum into how he plays now on the other hand they don't know how serious this injury was or is or what the timetable for Darnell nurse is he was on the ice gate like I said but just didn't have much contact or board play or net front presence so we'll see what is going on with Darnell nurse that will be something to kind of keep an eye on through the month of September here going on to October 9th the home opener there also Evander Kane uh came out I believe it was last night he is going to get surgery within the next week to 10 days that is coming from a couple insiders so Evander surgery no timetable is given for Evander cane as of right now due to the fact that we'll see how the surgery goes first of course it is his sports hernia injury that we've been talking about for couple months now so we'll see what the EM andon Oilers do with theander Kane after his surgery so in the next 10 days or so that would be what T I don't even know what day it is today the 14th so by the 24th the Tuesday there possibly could be what the Oilers are looking for and we'll find out what's going on there sorry I am really tired as you guys could probably tell by my eyes I'm exhausted but yeah so Evander Kane of course that's snooze will have to keep an eye on same with Darnell nurse Travis dermont in on a PTO and of course Leon dry Sidle signing that massive deal that was a few weeks ago already sorry I was just been caught up with work but hey I am back working only you know 4 to 12 hour days so we will be more on YouTube thank you guys so much for tuning in if you can hit that subscribe button that'd be greatly appreciated I'll catch you on the next one
