bad luck has hit us again MAF who was having a monster game ended up getting injured I'll give you all the details first let's talk about maf's game the guy was Unstoppable a sack on jacobe briset and an absurd amount of pressures he was putting so much fear into the Patriots quarterback that it was hard to keep track but then at the end of regulation time came the scare MAF went off the field with a right knee injury at the time the team listed him as questionable to return you know what that means right the injury didn't seem too serious but there was no guarantee he'd come back and guess what he didn't play in the only defensive series we had in overtime but wait there's more information Mike McDonald spoke about it in the postgame press conference apparently MAF collided with Michael an wayu the Patriots right tackle on the first play of New England's last Drive in regulation you could see MAF limping before he lined up for the next play he even tried to stay on the field but ended up taking himself out of the play due to the pain on the third down draymont Jones came in to replace him it was such an unfortunate Collision we can only hope that this injury isn't too serious because let's be real mayay quickly became one of the most important players on our team both on defense and offense do you think MAF will recover quickly who do you think could replace him if he's out for a while oh and let's not forget despite this scare we won the game 2320 in overtime that shows the strength of our team even with the absences all right moving on what an exciting game we had against the Patriots I'll break it all down for you in detail first let's remember we were coming off a bit of a rough start in week one right but today my friends things were different our offense came in strong jacobe briset and the Patriots also came out with force on their second drive it seemed like tight end Hunter Henry had become Bret's best friend they moved the ball down the field like it was butter and guess what they scored the first touchdown with rookie Jaylen pul the former Washington Husky but we didn't fall behind Gino Smith found DK metf alone on the sideline and boom a 56- yd touchdown it was beautiful till to watch the second quarter was more of the same our defense was struggling a bit but when they got to the Red Zone they held strong the Patriots only managed two field goals meanwhile Gino and our offense were soaring Zack shanet scored another touchdown his second in two games we even went for it on a fourth down at the end of the quarter Jason Meyers nailed a 45 yd field goal and we went into halftime leading 17-13 now if you like a little bit of ugly football the third quarter was for you no one scored and not much happened we even tried another fourth down but shanet couldn't advance in the fourth quarter things got tense ra Andre Stevenson of the Patriots was running the ball mercilessly our offense couldn't run and became predictable but just when everything seemed lost Byron Murphy too made the first sack of his career and soon after Julian love blocked a field goal that's when the magic happened in the final minutes we tied the game 2020 the defense held strong once more forcing a three and out and we decided to take the game to overtime in overtime the Patriots won the coin toss but did nothing with the possession then Gino Tyler Lockett and shanet quickly put us in field goal range range and Jason Myers didn't miss a perfect field goal and a Seahawks Victory 2320 and guess what's even better the 49ers lost to the Sam darnold can't imagine how crucial this play was thanks to that block we were able to advance down the field and force overtime with a game tying field goal in the final seconds of Regulation and then in overtime we sealed the deal and won 2320 but wait there's more this Victory puts us at 2 to0 for the season something that hasn't happened since 2020 and love oh love is playing out of his mind last week against the Broncos he made history he was only the 12th player since 1970 to make an interception force a fumble record a tackle for loss and have at least 10 solo tackles in a single game that's some Elite stuff and in Sunday's game besides the crucial block he had a pass deflection and seven tackles the guy is on fire but let's talk a bit about the play that preceded the block because
