with new management the Wes look to build on their form having struggled in the recent years this game really could go either way both squads are packed with talent and experience and with me in the Box Justin Marshall this game greatly anticipated by a lot of people Justin oh absolutely it's set for some good rugby the fans have been filing in steadily I'd say we're just about at capacity there's not a lot between these two teams it could go either way and it really depends on who wants to win more this should be a good game plenty to look forward to going into this game [Music] then here's the referee and we're ready for kickoff and away we go the number six Waits and they drive him into to the ground too powerful for that Defender lso tackles the man with the ball and they've turned it over the number nine picks the ball up met by the defense ah yes brilliant work by Argentina he's over halfway this will be a 22 dropout 22 M restart Santiago blits at bounce did well though didn't he it was a very good catch Under Pressure powerful defense Gordon he dangerous Runner by jenos it's a penalty well that was dangerous play [Music] this one is a long way out but they want the three lisso with the kick takes it over the five some real pressure there but he gets the kick way downfield gets it after the bounce he's been hit hard that's halfway I believe they've kept this for the Wes that'll knock the wind out of him Gordon driven backwards reling and they'll take the penalty yeah that was a silly mistake there and they've conceded the [Music] penalty they're going to have the best line out in fact it's lost Callaway hands it back the tackle's not enough the open side flanker pulls him down they may have lost this the number nine gives it off now tupo fails to put his man away and they drive him backwards the halfback has the ball taken into the tackle of coretti the halfback gets the ball to his support player the number five tackles superbly there slow ball now through lisso with the restart Gallow takes in the kickoff there's some real force in this defense pushes through that tackle oh he's got away turns it back on the inside the number 14 goes for a Gallop over halfway excellent run but good defense made on him and he's into touch lost against the throw more formed they continue to move forward the number seven has it at the back of the mall gets away from the first Defender powerful F and he's battered by the defense and they might have turned it as well a good opportunity here they'll definitely want to turn this into points strong leg Drive textbook tackle that's a very flat pass and he's well clear Cy coming up the right winger brought down just short 5 m from their line need to clear it here and it's a knock on now smashed by the B set the Australians got a good shove on there both teams putting pressure on now we start to see Argentina organize themselves for a set play here inside with that pass lovely tackle completely fools him with the oh and he's almost [Applause] there they need to recycle this more quickly terrible attempted a tackle that and taken finally and that's a penalty we'll be frustrated with the number nine takes it and he bursts over and gets it down a good strong burst through the defense gets them the try well there were some outstanding individual contributions to that try and they've struck again in quick succession has to be said there's been some really solid performances shot at goal still to come and chance for another two [Music] points the first 58th steadies himself for the on the fo Sakai Lotto is the target MO is locked in now great tackle and he shows the dummy Stewart is pushed back in a great tackle ball is ready now yeah it's a good chance to score here only meters away from the tri line he gets it down he's broken their defense and has scored a very good try what a try that's exceptional work and it all came from that clever little [Music] move it was a beautifully timed run and the Gap well it just opened up yep I agree [Music] and we're ready for the conversion attempt not the toughest kick I've seen him line up but he still takes his time as he looks to add the extra two lisso converts the try and it's 2014 that's a really great kick it was not an easy angle to work with very much in a position to turn this match to their advantage after definite power going on in the scrums a brutal contest in the scrum now we start to see Australia organize themselves for a set play here that pass goes inside forti gets very close to the line and he's brought down just outside sends it flat he's broken The Tackle apart Santiago with an impressive surge they've earned the penalty he clearly went above the chest the ref is right to call it how got it at the back there the number nine moves it back the number 14 looking for support as he runs tackled now after a good run the scrum half gathers it out of the back more bounds they try to steamroll this over the line the lock Callaway unable to hold him there's no one near him it's a certain try the right winger gets one out wide nice work well there was some high quality stuff in there and they've scored again quickly here they are looking pretty good at this stage aren't they dead run they've got their five they could get their seven the conversion now and he should be able Sherman tanks going up the field there Bell is controlling it at the back probing forward now he'll look to set it back and it looks like it might be a turnover ref say play on turnover here they were banking on getting this back and now they have he's beaten two back inside he has a real crack at the defensive line still there I think the scrum half finds a teammate here comes the chase nicely anticipated and read by the number 15 well it was a great catch he's got good hands we're almost at the end of the half here strong leg drive that pass was fired very flat the left Winger crosses the halfway line surging towards the line now the crowd out of the seats that is a try well that all came down to pressure plenty being pulled on and in the end simply outstanding how good was that well tupo forc back in the tackle release and he's hammered in that one kick and Chase the number 15 Dives all over it B down dangerously close to his own goal line there Gordon has it out the bat real this match has been highly anticipated well plenty to work on in the second half Justin let's take a look at the stats they persisted with this tactic of controlling territory The Tackle count is quite high and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few tied players in the second half quite a few tries scored in this match it's been exciting running rugby no wonder this match is as exciting as it is some outstanding rugby so far players have had their break let's get back to the action the second half is under away kickoff is made iy Waits taken down in a brutal tackle Crow on their feet I think they've turned it over he pushes it on the number six loses some ground the lock feeds it off now the left Winger not finished yet now taken to the ground in a good tackle good work in the rack by Argentina the halfback feeds the runners gets taken down in a hard tackle able to find the supporting player there coretti the support is there powerful defense the scrambling defense get him at the end of the run the ball is set up in the rack there's some real force in this [Applause] defense tupo gets through the attempt to tackle the L draged down in a nice tackle they need to recycle this more quickly Gordon delivers it on inside with that pass goes to ground quickly stringing some phases together he's been hit hard now this is aore Stewart controls it as they try for a few more yards he's taken down hard just starting to get a bit of dominance putting a few phases together and and they've held this ball perfectly Wilson pulls it out of the back no stopping him there I think beats the tackler no way through there's the ball and he's bettered by the defense valtini finally stopped release and he's out of the tackle he's lost the ball knock on it's there the number nine takes it out of the back Ruiz taken nicely there the number n gets the ball away advantage over that is a good kick into touch Sakai Lotto it was a very good line out iow goes off running hard at them lovely footwork there Callaway makes good ground the ball there now Gordon has it out the bat delivers it back inside back he goes it's still alive on the attacking [Applause] [Music] side e is e he pushes it on inside pass that pass goes inside the number four tackles his man stops him in his tracks Gordon has the ball nice inside pass runs it hard and fast at the defense now flat and he's shaken up by that one crunch to ground still there I think the scrum have getting plenty of the ball here sends it flat sold the dummy boy he can really motor ball turned over they've been losing the ball far too easily that shouldn't be happening for a team of this level great work to keep the ball alive here and he's shaken up by that one going nowhere in that tackle possible turnover here great work by the defense it's a turnover it was good work by them leading up to that Gallow shows good technique in the tackle Wilson feeds it off now the ball lost forward the number nine driving hard now the open side flanker tackled into touch he just couldn't control the ball let's see how the scrum responds here the scrum has been pretty solid from both teams here sit both teams putting pressure on solid scrum and the ball's out the number 22 off the bat the skipper is brought to a halt in that tackle turnover it's the turnover balls that have become a bit of a problem and he's pounded into the loses some ground there coach will be very disappointed if they've lost this McDermot takes it that tackle hasn't stopped him IIT edges inside the 22 incredible I think it's there for the wallabies Wilson has it now lovely tackle driven hard into the turf flat pass now flat the center running hard and it's been lost forward by Argentina so they look to try something with a moall they continue to Sakai Lotto gets it good clean line up and it's important to get good quality ball like that couldn't agree more and it's there now sold that dummy nicely mcdermit with a nice run players in The Ruck doing their job still alive oh good night oh good night tries the fend [Applause] unsuccessfully now he gets the ball away the hooker real chance here and he gets it down for his third try yes an excellent try they had to find the way through eventually it just goes to show what Supreme confidence can do [Music] conversion to follow so tough but so important this conversion lisso looking focused as he lines the kick up and with that they take the lead it wasn't an easy one you can feel the tension mounting can't you it's still very much anyone's game so the kickoff is made kickoff few more yards the left wing it goes hard and finally taken to ground now so just a few minutes remaining here the skipper charges forward solid contest one again by Argentina the number 22 carried out by the impact there oh they've only got a few minutes to make something Sakai Lotto takes it down good clean line out ball off the top that'll knock the wind out of him and now they get their man great run coach won't be happy if it's turned over here he keeps the ball moving we're into the last few ticks of the clock now relas drop kick could be a possibility at some stage here the number 10 goes running hard at the opposition the number 22 picks it out of the back the left Winger driven backwards possible turnover here here mcdermit takes some stopping in that run and they jump in the air they've done it the wallabies have won the game a pretty interesting match this one well it was a hard battle for this neither team giving an inch they couldn't hold on to the ball well enough there were too many penalties conceded in this game the Australians were behind at halftime but they've done well to come back and take take the victory on behalf of Justin and myself bye for now
