How The NFL SCREWED The Niners - 2024 San Francisco 49ers Season Preview and Schedule Breakdown

Intro I waited as long as I could to record the San Francisco 49ers preview video because we flat out don't know who the San Francisco 49 are going to employ come week one Christian mcaffrey is hurt Trent Williams is holding out Brandon auk will he won't he be traded so many question marks for a team that already had so many question marks heading in to this season defending NFC champions don't get me wrong this is an excellent team by an excellent coach with an excellent roster and an excellent GM and yet no one should be angrier at the NFL than the 49ers and their fans for what this league has done to this team schedule again in 2024 but that's what I'm breaking down in this video what's changed from then until now the three biggest stats that stuck out to me for this team and of course going through the schedule week by week how many wins will the 49ers have in 2024 that's the big question mark what are we going to see come week one such your hard team to predict but if you like this video and you want to see more head to my page we've done most of the NFL by now this is our last division so let's dive into San Fran let's start off with the Offseason Changes sweeping changes especially to the defensive side of the ball of this 49ers team not only do we have a new defensive coordinator much needed mind you but six of the top 11 players on the front seven in terms of snap count last year are gone from this team not to mention the injuries and the retirements of the safeties in this group it's a whole new unit and the people that they brought in I do like Leonard Floyd Malik Collins but I am a Packers fan I saw what dandre Campbell has left in the tank and this team on defense is not as talented as it was last year they they really poured everything they could into that defense and still have great players don't get me wrong but they've lost a lot of the uh rotational guys that make a Super Bowl defense click they're gone now playing for other teams and I'm unsure that they've replaced them in full and on top of that it's the injury bug we've already talked about Christian mcaffry there are other players all over this defense and offense that are missing and will be missing the first few games because they were injured I mean somebody popped their Achilles in the Super Bowl that's how crazy this team has been for the fourth most healthiest team from 2023 that regression to the mean has already begun and we're already starting off on the wrong foot here which is only going to hurt when we get to the schedule but what does it matter Three Biggest Stats right because look at these stats last year this offense was Unstoppable number one in the Red Zone number one on third down number one in Rush efficiency number one in touchdowns number one in everything under the sun when it came to moving the football down the field that's a Kyle shanan offense with this team around him will it be the same team if auk and Trent Williams come back I don't know but assuming it is there's nothing stopping this locomotive of an offense here and I don't see it slowing down at all however defensively the stats do not bear good fruit looking forward here San Francisco will face the fourth toughest slate of offenses for again a defense that is widely new so they're going to have to figure stuff out immediately if they want to succeed because at no point can they sort of take their foot off the gas here they need to win games on defense defense and it's against a very difficult group of offenses last year the 49ers schedule was littered with games where they had a rest disadvantage heading into the game AKA their opponent had more days off in between games and San Francisco had in games last year where they had two plus days of arrest disadvantage San Francisco the dominant Super Bowl team went two and2 straight up in those games one and3 against the spread and they were against inferior opponents so one and three against the spread means what Vegas predicts these teams to be sure the wins and losses don't count in the real world but again more often than not if you're not doing well against the spread you're not doing well as a football team so in those four games one and three against the spread this year six games with two plus days of rest differential on the schedule for San Francisco eight games with a rest differential overall that's half of the schedule where the opponent has more days to prepare to relax to get healthier to hit the training room to get stuff you know tied up and and stretched out and all better before they face the hard heading 49ers eight of the 17 games the ners have arrest disadvantage that is unbelievable and I predict as we'll go through the schedule in a second here is a death nail so Schedule Breakdown let's start off with the schedule right now you can see the red there's already two games out of these four where s Fran has a rest disadvantage but first we're starting off against the Jets this is highlights NFL Prime Time look at week one look at these two excellent teams going at it hopefully Aaron Rogers last more than four plays in this one I have San Francisco winning because when I made these predictions and I went through all these games San Francisco to me on paper is the better team they're the older team the veteran they've played long enough together they know how everything's rolling the Jets are still going to be figuring stuff out however if there's no mcaffrey if there's no Trent Williams if there's no Brandon IU still big question marks now mere 10 days till this game tips off I don't know if I'm going to give that win to San Fran if those players aren't in there but assuming they are that's a win for San Fran remember that for later I should say by the way the win total for San Francisco is a very very high number Vegas still predicts this team to be very very good they have to get more wins than that number listed in order to hit that over less and we're not hitting that over so first game win would doing well Minnesota however have to travel on the road after Monday Night Football have a day rest disadvantage Minnesota it's a team that's not very good but it's also a team that I think is very well coached and if they're healthy I think they can compete offensively with just about anyone I have Minnesota pulling off an upset here this is going to ruin Survivor pools everywhere I have Sam Donald at home getting the win over San Francisco we're already starting kind of a Topsy Turvy run for San Francisco however in the next few games Shanahan owns McVey and I don't believe in New England at all even with that rest disadvantage here we're going 3 and one in the first four next four games before the buy these two divisional Rivals I don't have a lot of faith in them whatsoever I think San Francisco runs through these two games very easily before facing a very tough slate before the Buy Kansas City and Dallas are different teams than they were last year you cannot predict they're going to be as successful as they always are however the rest disadvantage heading into this game I hate repeating myself over and over again but just look at how many red dots we have on this game I think San Francisco loses both of these and we're heading into the buy at 5 and three hopefully figuring out how we can get the whole Squad back together and then just just look at this slate look at it after the buy sure you have 8 day rest advantage against Tampa Bay because you're coming off of that buy that's a win I don't believe in Tampa Bay at all three of these next four games against good a good opponents like like again Seattle I don't think is going to beat the world here but they're a quality team Chicago's a quality Team Green Bay all these guys are quality teams in three of these four games you just get punched in the mouth these teams are going to be so much fresher than San Francisco at this point I see them only winning the Green Bay game and that's in Lambo so if I'm taking all of these games which by the way we've already had a couple of divisional wins here we've already had that win against New York we're still on the precipice of a 500 team because of how difficult this schedule is and I'm giving them wins where I'm 5050 on it so 7 and six with these last four we've already locked in the under can't go over 11 A2 even if we sweep right here and I don't think we sweep I do think we lose this sort of uh Super Bowl or NFC Championship preview I should say with the Detroit Lions the other games I do believe San Francisco is better again better than McVey better than these other teams here but we're going into the playoffs with a 10 and7 record this is not the San Francisco that just Wallops everybody anymore they're a worse team defensively and they have a much more difficult schedule and listen if you look back I gave them a 5- one record against their division the only loss I gave them was because Seattle's coming off of their buy it's it's not exactly likely they're going to go 5- one in their division no one usually goes 5- one in their division with that they still don't hit the over I do not understand how this team is Best Bet for 2024 San Fran 49ers going to come close to 112 I am hammering the under on this squad and it's against Kyle Shanahan one of my favorite most intelligent coaches in the NFL one of the best rosters in the NFL but Nothing Gold Can Stay and I think this is the year that San Francisco takes a large step back and re-evaluates what exactly their window is right now 11 and a half is to Big we're hammering this under as the best bet but that is it for the San Francisco 49ers video breaking them down I'm sorry again all 49ers
