Eagles initial 53 man roster is locked in as you can see the guys popping up on the screen these are the first guys to make the initial 53 man roster for our Philadelphia Eagles mind you if you look at the roster there's 28 defensive players and 22 offensive players leaving three players for special teams now of course this can and most likely will change as for annias Smith and Albert o they both made the team don't count against the 53 man roster due to the fact that they are placed on IR same goes with cdy brown who was placed on the pup list now when these guys get healthy if they get on the 503 man roster somebody's going to have to come off we understand that but we'll cross that bridge when we get there however when the eagles look at a final roster we look at it as a 70 man roster yes you're allowed to have 17 players on Practice Squad rules! your practice squad and with the new rule throughout the week as you're game planning you can elect to elevate people from the practice squad to the 53 M roster for that week depending on injuries game plan depth issues so I can't wait to see who we sign back that we cut whether we're talking young player and or veteran plus you got to think hoe Roseman is looking around the whole NFL for players that were cut on a different team because they were deep somewhere but the Eagles could use their services so we don't know what the full 70 man plus the new 53 man roster will look like come game day vers the Packers All Eagles clear Waivers! we did just get a huge update though Brandon Lee gon tweeted none of the Eagles Cuts were claimed off waivers meaning they're all eligible to return to the practice squad it also was reported that the Eagles and Hoy Roseman have not claimed anybody from any other team again that don't mean we're not going to sign any additional players whether it's young guys are veterans from other teams just nothing initially off the waiver to mess with the initial 53 man roster as for the first guy the First Eagles signed (check pin comment for more) eagle signed to their practice squad is tight end EJ Jenkins who I thought was worthy of a roster spot especially that the Eagles are only keeping two tight ends however he's back in Philly I'm glad he's not going to go anywhere he might join the 53 man roster throughout the season depending on injuries and we can see this guy grow into something special the next guy the eagle signed to the practice squad was safety Andre Sam who's been hanging out a lot with CJ Garner Johnson they actually have the same trainer and I've definitely seen some upside throughout training camp as it pertains to Andre Sam however Andrew Deo does have some bad news to his understanding the former Eagles defensive end teron Jackson is expected to sign with the Panthers practice squad maybe he thinks that eventually it's easier to get to the 53 man roster of Carolinas than it would be for the Philadelphia Eagles but teron Jackson flashed in the last preseason game now for the last player we just signed to the practice squad as of now because these are live updates as I'm getting while I'm recording this six round rookie that we drafted Dyan McMahon is back on the Eagles practice squad according to to Dave zaro just to reiterate the Eagles are signing guys as I'm recording this video so the rest of the guys we sign will be at the end of the video however we're going to get a really nice practice squad moving on to Brian B Ripps Jordan Davis!!
