hey everyone welcome back to the channel I'm gamer the pro and today we're diving into the August 17th patch for deadlock this update is more of a mini hot fix with some important balance changes particularly for shiv and Ivy let's get into it first up shiv he was so powerful that he was even crashing servers so valve had to step in with some adjustments here's what's changed Base gun damage it's been reduced from 6.3 to 5.7 bringing it more in line with other weapons in the game serrated knives these have seen some significant changes the base damage has been slashed from 75 to 35 and their velocity and collision size have both been scaled down by 10% this means they're less effective at range and slower over hone down it's still a powerful ability moving on to bloodletting it was a bit too strong so valve has made adjustments to balance it out while it's been toned down it's still a powerful ability on to Ivy everyone's favorite character good news her voice sfx have been reverted to the original there are also some balance tweaks ultimate cooldown increased from 70 to 80 Seconds air drops they no longer silence in the base this feature is now part of Ivy's tier 3 the duration has been slightly reduced from 20 to 17 seconds slow duration it's been increased from 3 to 4.5 seconds making the slow effect more significant and and there are a few other fixes to note spectating fixed a bug that caused spectating to end a minute before the game actually finished hero demo corrected an issue where it started you at max level Boon levels fixed issues with incorrect display Shop music reverted to the original song by default no more unexpected new Tunes lady guys can now jump during life drain that's it for this patch update if you enjoyed the video make sure to like And subscribe to gamer the pro for more updates see you next time
