Deadlock adds WALL JUMPS, ROPES, AND MORE??? 8/30 Patch Notes

Start - Testing and Examples good morning Gamers another huge update for dead luck just dropped featuring tons of map changes wall jumping tons of Nerfs and Buffs and new items and just so much more so first we just going to check out the map we'll do it as Bop B boo oh yeah we'll switch to scenes why not doesn't really matter stay stick to gaming right okay so we're going to check out the new parts of the map there's a few things I want to check uh so first and foremost let's just try to wall jump the map just feels different by the way the Vibes I mean it might have that's the light maybe some lighting changing or something um but here's a wall jump feels actually awesome oh well okay well you do climb if you touch them it might have been my bad wait that actually means you can climb wait wait wait wait let me cook let me cook oh my God and I just cost one stamina that's actually crazy and add that little sound effect if you can't do something sounds like you're breaking your ankles on the basketball court oh my God I love that I love movement does work oh we got a rope here okay hold to climb rope you can oh you have to hold the okay you can shoot when you're like hanging around on it oh that looks so SCU though okay dude the amount of movement and the verticality with all these new rooftops this is one of the this is some of the new rooftops it showed the amount of verticality we're getting now is insane like the flanks you can do with this and there's so many ropes as well there there almost it almost feel like there's too many ropes there's ropes everywhere that's crazy I love that though that I love that that's actually awesome it's a bit um scuffed with like hitting the wall jumps and not doing a double jump but like I think in time I'll probably get used to it and we'll probably I can't think of any techniques like off rip that I would want to like what do a Apex you can't really do it cuz you you can't really jump out of a slide but there's definitely potential here and yeah you can only bounce like once at a time oh that was something else I did there I guess I think either way that's that's huge but we're here to check out the map so the zip line damage might be difficult but we'll see if we can again we just need to take damage from like something oh no we just do that in the F range is fine I wanted to see the Walker range so let's check out the Walker range as well and then we'll see just how much of a difference it makes this it's 32 now we need to see The Stomp [Music] yep that's definitely noticeable here's another like they added a lot of these ropes you can't really do like I was thinking if you can do some of movement Tech from it I mean in a way you can jump to jump out or like I don't know it's a bit scuffed cuz it uses your stamina I'm not entirely sure what I'm going for here but there's potential there's potential um Okay so we've checked out the zip lines the rooftops The Walker range um and how far away are we we almost have our ultimate so let's just check out testing the ultimate with the Parry while we're here there we go see how that feels here's the ultimate and Parry okay yeah you just go straight into Parry that feels really good actually I like that W change oh yeah we wanted to try to alt cast for The Hook as well catching some so how do you do that cast using M3 to Target okay so I already have this bound got surprise for no what you hold M3 I can't be right it is okay so you hold M fre and then you hook and it'll be a friendly hero it's not a hero we'll have to do this in range let's go into the range let's do the rest of the things want to check in the range starting with babo okay no that's is it something else guess obviously that one there or there's a gym over there we can check that one too what the hell does that even ready I I don't know what M3 is I'm just I'm giving up I'm giving up I'm going to give it one second here to see if this like God is it that I'm is it this selfcast I don't know that's confusing okay there's a gym and this is where you can practice some melee I guess oh that oh that is actually L you can practice paries okay cool I like that it's nice what to add like way so you can get better at games like that in the game so I want to see the new item we have the item Head Hunter it's brutal out there huh maybe we shouldn't get it on vcta cuz or I want to get it on uh Dynamo see so let's start with high velocity mag we live in interesting times don't we it still feels pretty fast though it's a 5% difference still feels much faster than the stock uh and then we would get the Head Hunter hisory that also feels very fast I going be honest both already feel super fast but I'm me try leading that guy again we'll probably notice the difference oh yeah you can feel it there when you go for the lead okay cool like it's almost like Inferno default that's pretty cool right moving on of course we're going to try the seven storm cloud I wanted to see how that feels to activate it oh can I oh we're going to test the taking damage thing as well we'll do that also in a second yeah look how fast and grows now that's actually insane holy all right let's go test the damage thing see how what that's all about oh yeah there's a big thing there says unavailable after damage instead of the tiny thing there at the bottom that's very intuitive I like that we going to also check out viscus so I'm curious about that you know how easy you have it on that looks so goofy I like explodes too it's like hard AOE it's like a rocket launcher I thought it was Patch Notes like a shotgun I like that and like I said can't head shot uses like Six Bullets I like that I like that so figure that together we're just going to go through these patch notes and talk about what they actually mean because for one this whole movement thing is awesome but let's just go through everything and we'll test it out in game so to see how it feels as as usual there's a lot of fluff in these patch notes so we're just going to have to kind of go through it and then we I'll just cut the parts that I don't think are that important added a report button to the Escape menu player list to reporting of teammates in game so not just out of game improve disability of report button on post game screen added show languages checkbox in public builds list can be unchecked only see builds in your language that's a lot that's really good cuz there's a lot of Russian builds matchmaking window is now open 1 hour earlier on weekdays and weekends players can now only pause once per game a team can only pause at most three times in total amongst all the players the game application off flashes when a game is unpaused I'm pretty sure that they made has changed because of all the P abuse and griefing that we've seen recently overall a w change I'm just going to say that various clim to server performance improvements love to see it added a streamer setting to the options panel causes player names in a game UI panels to be hidden W I wish it was the other way around but maybe we'll get to that eventually added a melee trainer bot in the gym area of the hero sandbox added a new game modd status message at the top of the HUD so you can quickly know when there's an update private than having to fight out at Q time added a check boox and a postgame survey to make it not show again in the future added un available state to the zipline UI when zipline is on damage cool down this one is really cool and I really want to try it out but basically you're not going to be confused why you can't get to a zipline anymore it's going to be a lot more fluid than having to look down and see that oh yeah I'm affected by this or so I think we're going to try it out we're going to get to the real big things in a little bit uh I do think though that added Express press state to zip line in the Kinder when speed had increase from defeating enemy base Guardians is going to be is a very huge change that's being lumped in here so I do want to bring attention to it but overall it's just extra stuff that doesn't matter or not for a video when we want to see what's new to the game because there's some really big changes here that we're going to cover instead so first and foremost they added wall jumping we're going to test this out in game I already tested it a little bit it feels really fluid um it doesn't consume stamina all you have to do is add any input from any direction away from the wall and you can do it once per air time like a dash for example I played around a little bit with it but we'll play around with it a little bit as well here for this video moved a flex do from set of enemy base Guardians to all enemy Lane Guardians so this I believe makes Flex slots more accessible since you just have to defeat one of the tier one Guardians instead of the tier uh three added ropes to some buildings to let you climb up hold jump key to latch onto them can shoot while hanging on them that's really cool we're going to try that one out as well a pair of teleporters have been added to the outer Lanes at the midpoints near the three red neutral creeps this is going to be huge this might be like a massive Game Changer four teleporters have changed locations I believe that's these okay the Upper Floor teleporters have moveed to the SE level the interior teleporters have mooved to the BGA building in the theater teleporters are close to the first 10 minutes they look visually close so that's even better there's going to be less confusion there I really like this again this one might be really chaotic if you have a laning face go goes on for a really long time but this since teleporters are close for the first 10 minutes It'll be not be as bad as I thought it would be Guardians no longer give one AP AP is now added to the following Soul levels Parry cool down reduced from 6 to 5 Seconds earn delivery Sprint bonus increased from plus two to plus three so you're going to run faster with the earn um you know twice as fast well not it'll run 50% Faster Math walk your minimum range to attack increased from 30 mes to 32 we'll see how that feels in game golden statues drop increased by 6% uh range replace some bounce pads with ropes if the purpose was to go straight up added two bounce pads next to Side Lane walkers at Cultural Center Courthouse added bounce pad from the Amber orange sappire blue walk walkway to the low roofs to the Walker removed some rooftop zap zones that damage players that's interesting several buildings have been made taller to make the rooftops out of bounds several buildings have been made shorter to make it more accessible okay so they've made some parts rooftops that you can go on and I assume from as I'm gathering this we're going to check it out there will be rooftops that you just cannot reach because they're too high up unless you have like certain movement abilities to let you get that high up so that's pretty cool we got to we're going to check this out a few of the buildings have new passageways at higher floors that are along the way to the rooftop this is cool breakable containers have been added to the new playable rooftops Juke closets have replaced the previous location of the Upper Floor teleporters the half of the underground tunnel towards the outer Lanes have been made wider tunnel walls now have the color of the lane that exit as closest to I really like this makes it a little bit more engaging I guess more intuitive uh remove the archway leading to underground shop Place temporary signage for interior buildings and storefronts for future reference two Upper Floor Juke spots have been converted to passages through buildings added a new Upper Floor Juke spot to each side stairwell from Amber orange sapphire blue Walker catwalk to the Courtyard now less cramped lower the statue pedestals in the inner Lanes outside M and uh I'm going to go for item and I was actually working on a whole video diving into how items work and so much more uh that it's going to have to take a bit of a going have to take a little sideline here because there's a lot of changes to items as is every patch so we going to go through them monster RS bullet resist versus NPC increased from 30% to 35 which is the same as the bullet damage now hollow point round Spirit Shield increased from 80 to 85 restorative shot heal from Heroes increased from 30 to 35 there's a buff to restorative shot makes it easier to play from behind High Velocity Mag bullet okay bullet velocity reduced from 35% to 30 but has an upgrade okay so it's a little bit worse you still get good value for 500 but this this is an upgrade active reload life Ste reduce from 30% to 22% active reload and so Nerf buff R yep that makes sense kinetic Dash active fire rate reduced to 25 long range now grants 90 bullet Shield melee charg grants one HP regen Swift Striker now GR GRS plus 10% ammo Titanic magazine bullet armor increased to 15% toxic bullets heal heal reduction increased to from 55 to 65 toxic bullets bleed damage reduced from 6% to 5 toxic bullets Grant 100 Health this one is also a huge intensifying magazine now steadily ramps back down to 0% when you stop shooting rather than instantly emptying because before was really jarring you let go of M one and it just stops warp stone active bullet resistance reduced he got a bit of Nerf Sharpshooter now grants bullet shield no longer provides bonus head shot damage uh and weapon damage increased to 70% burst fire active duration increased escalating resilience Max bullet resist increased to 40 alchemical fire cool down reduced from 28 to 26 to 26 seconds heroic Aura active duration increased from 5 to 6 seconds we also seeing a new weapon item we're going to check that one out it's a head hunter requires High Velocity mag it grants 50% bullet velocity so that's even higher than previously we're going to really going to test this one out and see how it feels on Dynamo since he has very slow bullets 50% weapon damage and 150 bullet Shield it has a passive cool down Landing headshot on Heroes deals bonus 140 damage heals you for 8% Max HP and grants move speed for 3 seconds cool down 6 seconds so that's going to be pretty gamechanging this thing is going to be a must have I can tell you that much God damn siphon bullets weapon damage reduce from 40% to 28 Frenzy the ammo increased from 9 to 12 lucky shot proc chance increased from 30 to 45% Ricochet bounce damage increased from 50 to 60% or it buffing it Ricochet fix not applying spe bonus damage from vindicta oh this going to hurt vindicta buff and Rafe buff we love to see it oh he a bug fix but ends up being a buff Vitality melee life steal effective versus non Heroes increase to 40 healing right to cool down reduced Divine barrier no longer grants build resist or health regen but it grants Sprint health and ability range combat barrier now also grants 8% fire rate while active enchanters barrier now also grants cool down reduction while active reactive barrier redu from 1 seconds to 9 seconds healing booster now also has 15% heal reduction resist leech no longer has it okay so they actually nerfed leeched then or like split it out a little bit that's awesome a guy in my chat talked about it healing booster no longer has 6% bullet resist Superior stamina air jump Dash distance reduced metal skin cool down reduced rescue beam Channel duration reduced life strike Effectiveness versus non Heroes increased 42 damage taken duration fral reduced from 12 to 11 Veil Walker coold down reduced from 18 to 17 majestically cool down reduced to coold down reduced from 26s to4 uh Le no longer has 30% heal reduction resist that's what I mentioned previously very interesting Unstoppable can now be cast while channeling Unstoppable cool down reduced from 65 60 seconds Soul rebirth is going to be huge cool down reduction increased from 15% to 18% now grants 12 Spirit fixed not being able to purchase globally during its brief respawn period fix the camera moving away from a player if you respawn rather than falling ragal quality of life changes overall but still changes Colossus slow increase from 25% to 35% shadow wave Spirit Shield health increased spot radi is reduced from 20 M to 18 Phantom strike cast range reduced and as for Spirit items ammo scavenger Health increased extra charge cool down reduction increased to 10% Spirit strike debuffer duration increased Spirit strike Spirit Shield increased from 85 to 100 extra Spirit Health increased okay that's pretty huge these are Al like open the openers right so it's pretty good for the tier one wavering whip no longer grants ammo now grants fire rate fire rate slow reduced to 30 cool down reduced to 25 so you can do more often obviously uh Quicks silver no longer has faster reload time okay that's s suppressor Health Region reduced from 3 to 2.5 fire rate reduction reduced from 30% to 25% improve cool down cool reduction increased from 15 to 16 duration extender Health Region increased slowing hex projectile speed increased oh okay that's interesting so that makes it you you might not actually have to buy oh wait no talk about the actual I think talking about the actual hex in this case uh rapid recharge charge count reduced from plus two plus to plus two faster time between charges increased from 40 to 55 cool down for charge ability increased from 20 to 25 knockdown delay reduced to 2 second from 2 3 to 2 seconds so it's okay that's pretty so knockdown as an item is got a massive buff you you can now use it faster as soon as you activated it it will pop after 2 seconds instead of free the stun has been reduced to 0.9 seconds from 1.25 but your job will be done if you're using it against like seven or someone CU you just needed to stun them to interrupt them cast range increased to 45 M that's huge silence glyph duration reduced to 3 seconds torment pulse spear damage scaling increased imut ability spear power from Serge of power increased non impude duration uh Superior duration non impu duration increased from 25 to 26 improved Spirit Health Region increased uh Health increased to 100 and improved reach Spirit resistance increased to 12% there there so many numbers here I don't know if you guys want me to cut these in the future cuz it's just like so much redundancy for for the numbers here curse duration reduced from 3.5 to 3.25 Magic Carpet let's see cuz they add a Magic Carpet last patch I didn't like it that much I tried it out just did not work for me at all uh you are now unslow while on the Magic Carpet cool down reduced to 30 seconds barriers now last for 16 in my opinion it's it's what is it a 6.3k item I don't know if this is nearly enough at this moment to actually use it Echo chard now grants spere power escalating exposure base speed resist reduction increased Now Grant uh refresh now grants 8% bull resist boundless Spirit Sprint reduced to plus three and grants 25% weapon damage okay so a little bit more of an allrounder at the cost of a little bit less Sprint speed we just keep going we're just going to keep going oh my God we still have to test these items out in game yeah the items and the other things in game I've written the whole list here man all right Heroes let me just crack open a cold monster here I'm not even sponsored I am just a fan it is 3:00 a.m. they just dropped the patch not too long ago he's got to lock it it Abrams all right we got a ton of changes though and I items are not as intuitive for me yet I'm working on that Heroes definitely are so I should be able to give you guys more uh Insight on Heroes it's also more linear with Heroes versus uh items so moving on aens infernal Brazilian regeneration time increased oh I like it actually say this is a Nerf yeah okay it takes longer to start uh or maybe it's longer to be full H I'm not sure abrs just pull-ups on his zip line once again this is a buff okay Abrams fix shoulder charge sometimes stunning enemies on stairs that's a Nerf that's a massive Nerf cuz I've been using that a lot fixed seismic impact sometimes not going to the area selected that's a buff so overall this is bug fixes bbop gun range increased from 30 minutes to 32 hook now only targets enemies when used by default if use of alt cast midle Mouse it will be Ally Only mode oh I like that we're going to try it that's actually really cool I like that a lot hyperbeam can now be cancelled by using Parry okay that's just a tiny thing says you could just cancel over space already so overall that's a it's a buff it's a buff oh wait this is actually a huge thing I remember this cuz people I remember this feeling really clunky cuz if you do certain abilities somebody might come at you with a heavy melee and if you want to actually fight back against them you need to cancel the melee or you need can ability and then Parry but now you can just Parry immediately that's going to be a lot better I'm curious we'll try it out we'll try it out we'll try it out uh Parry ult I want to see how it feels we're not going to have anyone to to punch us but it'll be close enough fixed kinetic pulse not traveling properly when casting Corners that's a w gun damage reduced for Dynamo Singularity cast time increased Singularity range reduced gun damage is going to be you're going to feel that it doesn't feel like a lot is two damage right but you're going to feel it for sure alongside the other Nerfs you add a Nerf to them velocity because velocity High Velocity rounds were very important specifically for Dynamo I know it you'll get a better item later but they're moving the making more like mid mid game late game rather than just having an early power Spike with the velocity bullets still overall W change I think it's deserved great it's overall um overall a Nerf obviously great talent charge shot Collision size reduced by 8% base damage reduced to 100 to reduce from 765 fire right now scales with Sprint uh spirit sorry can now use multiple air dashes while using rain of fire immobilizing trap route duration reduced from 2 to 125 now applies a 50% movement so for 1 second so after route T2 change from plus one like grout to plus two slow that's kind of massive I wonder if that also applies to the I forgot how his additional damage works but I think this still works right so you you have this the route then to slow and then they're slow they're going to take damage that's going to be huge that's a that's a buff for great Talon that's for sure Haze base and this is a big buff let's see base bullet damage increased from 5.3 to 5.6 uh sleep tiger impact damage happens immediately rather than after brief drowsy period so he's going to feel snappier we we can try it out draws period before s kick in increased uh cool down reduced to 25 smoke bomb radius reduced from 20 to 18 so that's a detection radius um fixation T2 Max taxs increase from plus 30 to plus 40 that's going to change quite a yeah that actually changes quite a bit cuz they pop on every 20 I believe right yeah they pop in every 20 so that's pretty huge uh bullet dance that provides plus two weapon damage into base ability similar to the T1 overall the buff to Haze uh inferos I would hope this is a Nerf reduced vertical reach on flame Das DPS okay so like yeah if they step on the if they step on the fire it's a bit more forgiving but it trying to jump over it or whatever flame dash speed is now afflicted by slows flame Dash Trail now gets wider with ability range bonus oh that's so it's a bit of a buff as well um flame Dash T1 duration reduced Catalyst damage amplification reduced to 25 T3 increased T2 reduced life steal yeah overall though I'd say overall it's still kind of a Nerf bit of a soft Nerf I think the change the flame Dash change will make it less likely like less possible for Inferno to kind just run around he's going to get punished by slows and whatnot um but the larger Trail Assuming he's not getting like actually shot at it's going to definitely be a bit more efficient as for Ivy bullet damage growth bar Boon reduced to 0.5 Health growth per Boon reduced Watchers Covenant T2 reduced to two air drop no longer silences allies wait they used to do that air drop not causes allies to deal 50% less damage while being carried okay so you're supposed to be able to use your ultimates with with aird drop that's actually really cool um yes some more changes during air drop flight you can pitch up and down with Dash Crouch buttons I actually was thinking about this the other day huge ql change fix getting stuck in bridges and in buildings while air drop flying also W change as for celvin bullet radius increased from 5 to six base Health growth per Boon increased to 45 to 50 Arctic Max slow increase No Effects Arctic beam No Effects SL Soul orbs so you can secure Den n orbs with the Arctic beam that will feel a lot better so you don't have to cancel and shoot it was really scuffed the range has been reduced fixed ice path Jitter no that means frost grenade T2 heal increased moving on lash improved firing arm position to be a bit more out of the way from the retical grapple no longer gives a stamina charge on use that's a big Nerf it probably be still be fine but it'll feel like a little bit clunky because you could just kind of grapple around and like never leave the ground before uh or never leave the air previously now you have to be a bit smart about it seven static charge radius increase from 5 m to 6 M static charge T2 radius increase from 7 to 8 right right buff static charge stormcloud spirit Power scaling reduced from 1.1 to 0.8 that's huge because it's been very oppressive time to reach maximum radius reduced to three wait wait what time to reach maximum radius we have to try that out what time to reach maximum radius reduced from 6 to 3 seconds so in 3 seconds you'll reach the ma [ __ ] blow up like just going full inflation mode just pyrocynical would love that uh storm cloud now provides 20% bullet resistance and the base ability wait so that's overall a buff done I guess it's like a power uh shift cuz it's both a buff and a Nerf but overall pug Ship bullet damage growth per Boon reduced gun fall off range reduced Health growth per Boon reduced SI and dice T2 reduced SI and Di T3 now considers creeps for only half value okay that's interesting we'll test that out blood leing defer damage reduced targeting UI eff skill blow is number clear when a Target will be killed okay we'll see that when we test it vindicta stake duration reduced Crow familiar spirit Power duration scaling reduced fixed left click sometimes deselecting the ability when charges aren't ready I haven't noticed that viscus Odin this is a big one primary fire redesigned to make it more usable and have improved damage and scaling now has alt fire that has limited range but deals AOE damage that cannot head shot we're going to try that out spider spin scaling increased spider damage on second and third hit increased from 66% and 33% to 750 puddle punch damage increased from 100% to 110% of light melee so marginal difference um more damage and movement slow from the puddle punch and minus well cool down on T3 instead so you actually want to spec T2 earlier for viscus now would want to say right uh gooal the ultimate scaling increased acceleration increased okay we're going have to try that as well this like almost a soft rework for viscous big buff the turn radius and turn radius after balancing has been increased that as well will just feel better I'm really excited to try that out fix the bug where ghoul ball would have the direction and Trail particle stuck on and that was it visus again we're going to try this all out later in the range warden base movement speed reduced from 6.5 to 6 uh fire rate scaling with speed reduced from 035 to open fre it'll it'll probably feel better like that's a Nerf that's definitely a Nerf Yamato power slash Max damage time requirement reduced power SL Collision radius reduced Crimson SL radius increased fix being able to die during Shadow transformation if it by great tal fix some cases where flying strike would get into stuck State and fix some cases where Crimson slash would appear to be cast when it wasn't so it's prettyy cool it's pretty W but uh let's actually head in game I forgot which one it was again I always forget does that work yeah I've never been in here that's cool now that's not where we're going to go though what's the name of the map again
