some design runs he's got such gamechanging ability with the ball in his hands and here he rips off a big [Applause] one a run up the Middle with war and nice run there he'll be stopped time first down a pick up of n this just shows why you can't count on just one guy to take him down he's a powerful enough Runner you've got to have guys coming in support when that first hit is made it takes a team effort to stop him especially once he gets going and no place to go no place to hide he's taken down behind the l y it's a Zone re and Murray hanging on to it and that call will not get it done the defense ready stopping him behind the line of scrimmage it sets up fourth down anytime the running back is forced to chop his feet in the background and never get to top speed you know that play is not going anywhere that's exactly what the defense was able to force here by getting penetration great job there stopping this play before he had a chance to even get started [Applause] the field goal unit on the sideline they'll line up to go for it on fourth [Applause] down putting one of their tight ends in motion left Murray throwing on fourth down and that is not incomplete and they turn it over on down well Mike it's pretty clear early in this game the message they want to send is we are going to be aggressive on offense and that's exactly what they did there going for it on fourth down early but it's the defense that comes through and forces the turnover on Downs [Applause] set to go now on First and 10 he's got his big tight end Henry they'll get 11 there and that's a quick first down the timing of these RPO Concepts that's the entire key remember Mike different than the college game these offensive linemen they're blocking for the run but if that ball gets pulled the pass option of the play they're not allowed downfield in the college game they get a three yd window that they're allowed to be downfield even on a forward pass that's not the rule in the NFL these decisions have to be made quickly if not even after a good pick up it could be coming back due to a flag you can see the eyes of the quarterback he's trying to push this ball initially down field but with the defense doing a good job keeping a lid on the coverage he's forced to check this ball down to the shallow route this is something that they know in the future if I need a couple yards they can come back to this play you try to pick this up on Third and eth third operating for the shotgun it's ah nowhere to get away he is going to go down in the midst of a tight game like that you're looking for every play that you can make to try to gain advantage and if you can continue to get after the quarterback disrupt the Rhythm and timing of this quarterback in the second half that could be the difference of you being able to pull away here comes Jackson on the return a that could have broken for a bigger return but as it is nice job getting his offense a start out pass the 30 yd line caused by the running back Warr and they'll get about eight out of that one but still little work to do now on third down these are the play calls Mike that offensive coordinators use to just get their quarterback and their passing game into some sort of Rhythm easy pitch and catch get the ball out of his hand see a completion these typically as the game goes on lead to bigger and bigger out of the back field they were able to complete this pass but how often do we see these running backs run these angle routes and they catch it in stride and run a hole through the defense so know the defense gave up some yards here but it could have been a lot worse they'll come up to Third and three to the left side here H by Baker and they're going to get this all the way up close to the 40 yd line that's his first reception of the ball game and it really comes at a good time as they get the conversion on third down they'll come up first and 10 at the 40 we'll go play action with May he's going to air this one out and that is brought in and they will bring this into the Red Zone big connection inside the 20 it is a big play on first down a pick up of 44 yds on the option they give it to Stevenson and good Red Zone running here taking it inside the 10 yd line pick up of eight up and out to the line now on second and [Applause] two that's complete to Baker and this drive is going to continue he's taken down they are set up with first and goal offensively Landing a lot of body blows on this drive Mike just the ability to stead March the ball down field and remain so efficient both run and pass as they continue to wear this defense out they have to find a way to end this drive with points anything short of that be a bit of a let down that play may have taken a little bit too long to develop it's no gain he's back at the four yd line so often when it comes to safeties Mike we talk about their speed and their range but for him to be able to come up and make a tackle and be physical at the point of attack and keep this ball carrier to no game that's pretty impressive on second down a run now about a reverse instead and he won't quite get in down to the one setting up Jaylen Warren touchdown Tennessee good drive they kept the ball bre they moved it effectively down the field and finish it off on the ground for the touchdown so often Mike we see teams work on a great drive to get down here close only to settle for a field goal but in this case give them a lot of credit they put a great drive together but they're able to capitalize and finish it off with [Applause] six they didn't leave much time on the clock to put together a drive here at the end of the first half and the kickoffs coming their way this one is fielded in the End Zone but he decides not to bring it out he'll take over at the 30 yd line Y they'll come up here first and 10 working out of the gun it's May oh a dangerous throw there is intercepted picked off by arah molden think you chalk this one up like to just a rookie mistake and anytime you have a young signal caller behind Center you're going to have to deal with some of these ups and downs every once in a while they're just not going to see the coverage they're going to get baited into making a bad throw that's kind of par for the qu the key is how fast can these rookie quarterbacks Turn the Page move on and not make the same mistake [Applause] again oh maybe a free play as he'll look to throw it now a deep ball here for Ridley that'll be incomplete with a penalty flag down it looked like someone was across the block as well not a whole lot complicated about this CL Mike that was understanding where the holes of the defense were remember in this Zone coverage you got to find green grass get past the first down marker be friendly to the quarterback and then the ball has to be out on time before those Zone Defenders can react to the receiver that's exactly how it played out here you can drop all the fancy plays you want but when the quarterback and the receiver see it through the same set of eyes it's virtually impossible to [Applause] stop and that is hot in the end zone he's in touchdown by that linebacker timing his Blitz he didn't give any indication to the offense that he was coming he's able to get through that hole and take the ball carrier down for a loss so after the loss on first here's second and 14 here's M oh no chance there heavy he goes down that last sack is exactly why defensive coaches preach over and over just play the next down just continue to make them snap the ball again you're one big defensive play from changing everything about this drive and but once looked like a promising Drive following that sack looks a little bit different now on Third and long here's n oh they on him with a and he's run the football and the defense has it the defense comes up with a play in the Red Zone those active hands get to the quarterback knock it out and they come up with the recovery Mike we see this from time to time down here when an offense is operating in the Red Zone the field shrinks coverage gets a little bit tighter quarterback tend to hold the ball a little too long and that's exactly what came back to bite him right here he'll Che this down to the running back and he'll get about eight on that one most of it coming after the catch it's second down at the 35 yd from the shotgun it's Murray throwing left side there but it is in DeAndre Hopkins the intended target for that one and third down coming up a rare Miss for a quarterback that we've seen really come out on fire throughout this entire contest I mean his completion percentage Mike is well above League average and frankly it's really the biggest reason why they find themselves out tront and he's got it and he'll be taken down but they are in business inside the 30 yd line a first set of downs to work with it is first down and 10 to the goal line in down Tennessee now for the extra [Applause] point he gets it to go and the Titans will take a 21-7 lead [Applause] both teams ready to go once more as the kicks away Jones now on the return and he is stopped at the 25 the drive will begin there [Applause] on first down they'll start out with Stevenson and he is p in the back field Defenders firing through shut it down right away for a loss of [Applause] yard they'll go again here with Stevenson and he's able to find a crease get ahead for seven it'll bring up third down [Applause] operating from the shotgun it's me and for a third time today he's intercepted pick off by their rookie linebacker on Third and a yard here's he's got his big tight end Henry and he'll be brought down on what will be the final Act here in this third [Applause] quarter on First and 10 here's May that one to the veteran Hooper and they'll get about half of what they needed it's a pick up of five and sets up second and [Music] five to the left side here H by Baker and Tackle is going to be made down at the 40 yd line call it a gain of first down Chicago it's been tough sledding for this offense all day today Mike but especially here in the second half so they are just in desperate need of a spark just something to get their offense into a little bit of a rhythm if they want to have any chance to find themselves back into this game here late that's another first down another big play the defense has some issues gain of 18 May to throw [Applause] again pass right side taken by Baker after the catch he gets that forward for a gain of [Applause] [Music] nine second and a yard here's May again has completed to Douglas this drive is going to continue they bring him down but not before he picks up first and goal for his team no hand off he'll keep it himself and the balls out the Titans have got it he's to Midfield still on the Move inside the 10 and a terrific play for the defense to come up with the score that Greg extends their lead and really hurts the offense's momentum Mike it's hard enough in this league when you find yourself trailing in the second half to be able to battle yourself back and try to end up winning this game but when you have turnovers like that that not only then extend the lead it just makes that even a taller task [Applause] folk sets the point is good and the Titans will open it up even further here in this fourth [Music] quarter the kickoff team is out on the field and we're back to it as the kicks away this kick is fielded in the end zone no move to bring it out it's touch back and that ball will come out to the 30yd line 30 [Applause] y throwing on First and 10 is May he'll get rid of it and complete it and they will bring him down on the other side of Midfield a gain of 28 y number three Mario first at 4 yd here's May to throw it on first down ha in by the tight end Henry and they're going to move this ball inside the 25 yd line Ratt gun here's May he'll tuck it and take off and he'll be taken down as the clock kicks towards 2 minutes the play a great job of knowing when to go he gets 17 yds on that run and a first hand they send a receiver in motion [Applause] left and he'll take it on in jvon Baker touchdown Chicago taking care of business on the ground to get the score and Greg the big guys up front they deserve some Praise on that one absolutely Mike and it really only takes one guy to distort the defense and win his block but in this case give credit to the entire unit they did their job and they reward their offense with a touchdown they'll drop to throw ah the pressure got to him he was hit as he threw it it's incomplete and they come up empty trying for two this one not quite over but down a couple of scores we're going to get an outside kick the kickoff unit is out there and they'll send this one away well that recovery certainly makes things a little more interesting but you're still down two possessions so you've got to work fast score quickly and then line back up and recover another one here is first and 10 to throw now may laying out and he made the catch what a play they've got all three timeouts left but need to score quick it's first and 10 that's complete to Baker well let's give some credit to the big big boys up front The Trenches they knew that Blitz was coming they held them just long enough that quarterback to get that ball out safely and results in a completion here's second [Applause] down working out of the gun it's May that's to the right side he's got p and this takes him into the Red Zone he's brought down inside the 20 yd line May to the air once more the throw on the run is complete and he's going to be taken down here we go first and goal and they'll run it here with Stevenson and he's going to go backwards on that one taken down back at the 6yd line when you can get this level of run support out of your secondary Mike man what an advantage for any defense this defensive back clearly reads run gets off his block and he's able to take down the back for a loss of yards second and goal now it's from the 6yd [Applause] line throwing now is May and that's going to be in incomplete C was good that time the contact jarring the ball loose and forcing third down it's rare to see an offense that finds themselves trailing and say well their quarterback's been actually one of their biggest bright spots usually that doesn't go hand in hand so it's a little surprising to see him miss a throw like that on a day where he's completed passes at a highly efficient rate that's a second charge timeout to Chicago they get it with 19 seconds left field goal would only do so much they need a touchdown to close the gap it is fourth down and goal they'll run for it it's Stevenson and this is not going to do it the defense comes through here in the final minute and it makes just be enough to get them a victory so the offense dips into their RPO game and the key for any defense defending it is everybody has to do their job in this case it's a give read the running back gets the ball and the defense makes a great stop on fourth down oh the defense snuff that one out he'll lose yardage mark them back at the three now we'll get whistles and they have signal for a timeout curious there not sure the logic but one stoppage with 5 Seconds To [Applause] Go second and [Applause] 11 they send Ridley in motion Murray going to look to do it himself oh wait hold everything a time out has been called that's seemingly pretty silly with 1 second left in the game they went to the designed quarterback run and there just wasn't a lot of space for the quarterback to operate you can see him kind of waiting for some of the blocks to develop never transpired didn't get a whole lot going shorty and he'll be brought down there and that'll put a wrap on this one time has expired in this fourth quarter so it's a win here for the Titans and right away you can point to the turnover battle always ke tells the story so often it did here again today their offense didn't turn it over at all they finished on the plus side with the takeaways as a result they're going to come away with the victory so that'll do it for us for Greg
