right look come on look y'all know I'm I'm I'm fair I'm as unbiased as I can be I don't like the chorus at all I think the chorus is ridiculous it just sounds like a joke I don't take it serious for me it's not fun like that just ruins the mood for me completely ruins the song however I do give her points for experimenting points for creativity points for trying something new okay there's going to be people that like that there's going to be people that don't like that that's part of Music in general but especially when you're experimenting and trying something new so she gets big points for that and it takes balls KES to be able to try something completely new and put it out there especially with big fan base okay you're going to have thousands and thousands of people all up on your ass if they don't like it or if they love it like it's a gamble right so big points for her for doing that trying this course for me doesn't work for me I don't like the course at all I'm sure there's people out there going to be like yo Sean I love the course that's my favorite part and that's fine that's okay everybody's got different taste now the verse though let's talk about that verse okay she rapping rapping she rapping ra Happ right this is that this is that Kendrick Lamar style of rap okay she's painting a picture she's telling a story of some Florida stuff some Florida heat on the corner drugs she tried to live the sober life she P she's painting a picture but she's also got rhyme schemes in here she's got bars in here she's just rapping rapping right DOI be about that pen okay DOI making her way up the ladder of MC's okay she's she's going from whatever number you had her at whatever number everybody thought she was was at to now she's getting closer to that number one spot okay she is climbing the ranks very very good pen I mean DOI sit the very first time I reacted to her like the the icky blicky fruit cake or whatever it was like way back knew she had a pen she's different doi's unique no one's doing it like DOI and that's refreshing whether you like it or not I respect the fact that it's she's different and unique right in a in a world of the same [ __ ] little pump everybody's making the same music it's refreshing when you get a new artist and a unique artist that's making stuff to their heart love it so this one I like the verse a lot I could play the verse back and the beat is weird and for me I like weird beats combined with rap and rapping like weird beats and singing I don't know it's hard cuz like Melody is such a big component of if the song's going to sound good but when you have like weird beats in a nice boom bap style drum pattern like here it it allows for some nice crazy bars and crazy writing and rhyme schemes and I got a little bit of that here okay so I liked I like the weird beat and her flow and her writing and everything just don't care for the chorus so if I'm ranking this without the chorus it ranks pretty high very solid track if I'm including the chorus it drops so low like I don't like this song at all man but damn do I like her verse really enjoyed her verse you know like I said it's a little bit of a trade-off when you do something new and you try something weird and outside the box could go one or two ways but you got to respect the pen man you got to respect the pen DOI is coming for their neck DOI is out for [ __ ] necks I'm telling you so I enjoyed the writing I enjoyed the rapping don't like the course at all we got to see what else she has on the album so that for today's reaction video
