five steps that's literally all it's going to take five steps for you to lock in a fantasy championship in 2024 we're going to be talking about some specific players and where you should draft them some late round sleepers and maybe some guys that you should be taking a look at that are possibly on your waiver wire right now but even if you've already drafted you're going to want to pay attention because I'm going to tell you in a few minutes how you can get in on a high akes League against myself and other members of the headliner Nation let's kick it off with my first step and it's all about staying balanced at the beginning of your draft there's a lot of people out there that really dive into whether or not they want to go wide receiver heavy or running back heavy to begin their draft and even though I love drafting my running backs early and often I know that the key to success is going to be staying balanced at the start of your draft now sometimes depending on how your draft goes things can go ay and maybe you go heavy to one position or the other because that's just what the draft dictated but if you can do your best staying balanced is absolutely the key I am looking at two running backs and two wide receivers inside the first four rounds and really how you start your first round is going to lead to how you draft the rest of the way guys in the first round that I absolutely want anywhere I can get them this year include the guys at the very top like Christian mcaffrey Tyreek Hill and cidd lamb but Bree Hall is another one that no matter where I'm drafting at I'm considering taking him and then Aman R st brown maybe the safest wide receiver pick that you could make in the first round now just because these are the main guys I mentioned doesn't necessarily mean I hate anybody else in the first round bejan Robinson Jonathan Taylor saquin Barkley all solid picks at the running back POS position Justin Jefferson if you want to invest in him in the first round if you believe in Sam darnold I'm on board for that as well there's really only two guys that I find myself passing on consistently in the first round of drafts number one is Jamar Chase I have a lot of concerns about Joe Burrow's wrist even the medical experts out there like Stefan Bell from ESPN even our own Dr Ethan Turner have expressed some concerns about how this isn't a typical rist surgery for a quarterback and we don't know what he's going to look like for the rest of the season for that reason I find myself skipping on Jamar Chase and staying with one of the other safer options AJ Brown could have another huge year I just love him more in the second round this season and unfortunately his ADP just hasn't fallen that far yet right now he's typically going at the end of the first round and at the end of the first round I just find myself investing in running backs a little bit more often step number two to winning your fantasy championship this year is drafting Mike Evans in the third round where his current ADP has him Landing overall he's being drafted at 31.3 and can we find a more consistent wide receiver in the NFL since they entered the league than Mike Evans at this point I don't care if you're drafting him as your wide receiver one I don't care if you're drafting him as your wide receiver two and round three we should be targeting Mike Evans every single time 1,000 rece receiving yards in 10 straight Seasons 13 or more touchdowns in three of the past four years how about finishing is a top 12 wide receiver five of the last six seasons and Mike Evans has never finished lower than wide receiver 24 on the year worst case scenario drafting Mike Evans in the third round is your wide receiver one you're getting a super safe floor play at the wide receiver one position every sing single week best case scenario you're getting a wide receiver two that has lots of wide receiver one upside but also would never kill you he is really the ultimate pick in the third round regardless of how you have started really there are three options to starting your fantasy draft that I think are the perfect starts the first one would be running back running back Mike Evans in the third and then another wide receiver in the fourth or we could switch up the first and second rounds we could go running back wide receiver Mike Evans and then running back or we could go wide receiver running back Mike Evans running back any of those starts any of those three starts would be absolutely perfect for you to be on the board as one of the most balanced teams in the league with a whole lot of upside to go with it if you haven't drafted already then this information is perfect for you but maybe you've already drafted and you're asking yourself Kyle how am I going to utilize this information well I'll tell you what if you had a shot to play in a high stakes League against myself and other members of headliner Nation let's make things spicy over on Underdog we're going to create a $100 buyin best ball league with myself and other members of headliner Nation the link to join the draft is going to be down in the description below and if you're already signed in over on Underdog excellent go ahead and jump in right when you're able to but if you want to hop in on this and you want a shot to draft against myself and prove your fantasy dominance while using these strategies all you got to do is head on over to Underdog and get signed up now using code word Headliners by using code word Headliners and making at least a $10 deposit when you sign up you're going to get a ton of advantages right now first off you could get up to a $1,000 draft bonus that you could use to hop in this league with myself and start playing some pick thems as well because during week one of the regular season Underdog is hosting a special Travis Kelce pick them for any new customers and this pick them is almost guaranteed to hit but you also shouldn't forget that we're going to give you a fantasy football draft guide for absolutely free so if you still need to do your draft whether it's here on Underdog against myself or in your traditional redraft leagues this draft guide is going to be your tool to abs absolutely killing it this season so what are you waiting for head on over to Underdog right now or download their app create a free account and make your deposit using code word Headliners you're going to get everything that we talked about in this video and you're going to get your shot at a huge jackpot playing against myself but who cares about the money at that point bragging rights over myself and headliner nation is the true top prize step number three to locking in fantasy championships this season is drafting David Montgomery as your rb3 and if you have followed this strategy up to this point you already have your rb1 and rb2 on the roster through the first four rounds but guess what when we get to round five and six David Montgomery is still going to be there waiting for us cuz right now his ADP has him at 61.3 overall and one thing I want you to keep in mind these adps are a consensus of all of the major drafting platforms out there ESPN Yahoo CBS sleeper it doesn't matter all these numbers are coming from those platforms if you think the ADP seems off then I encourage you to write a letter to your favorite fantasy platform and let them know their information looks like crap but that current ADP allows us to draft David Montgomery towards the end of the fifth round or beginning of the sixth round and into the fifth round even if I have to take David Montgomery early I am fine with that this is not a guy that we want to miss this season and the best part about him is let's say that you invest in jir Gibbs early as well who cares you can play both of these guys together in your lineup on a weekly basis they may be the best RB tandem in all of football right now and I'm not just a Detroit Lions fan saying that I'm a fantasy analyst saying that from weeks 10 through 18 last season jir Gibbs and David Montgomery were both healthy every single week from weeks 10 through 18 jir Gibbs was the rb6 while David Montgomery was the rb1 jir Gibbs had four rb1 finishes during that time frame and two rb2 finishes David Montgomery had two rb1 finishes but he finishes an rb2 six times down the stretch that is the type of floor you you want every single week and if your Counterpoint to this is Kyle there's no way he's rushing for as many touchdowns as he did last season I call BS Jamal Williams who can't find a hole to save himself in New Orleans led the league in rushing touchdowns in this offense a couple of years ago jir Gibbs and David Montgomery will both get more than enough volume to eat and David montgomry will get more than enough chances to put the rock in the end zone moving on to step four your tight end Target this season needs to be George KD or Jake Ferguson no exceptions you can shoot your shot at Travis Kelce or Sam leapa early in your draft for that upside you could go for an Evan Ingram a little bit later for that safer floor but screw all that we're going for these guys right away now George KD's ADP is sitting at 60.3 in the fifth round so there is a chance that you would have to draft him and then hope David Montgomery Falls the six or you would draft David Montgomery in the fifth and hope George KD falls into the sixth round or we can just hold on the ADP of Jake Ferguson which is currently 84 overall putting him in the seventh round since 2018 George KD has been a top five tight end every single season except once and that one season was in 2020 when he missed eight games due to injury and last season Travis Kelce and Jake Ferguson were the only two tight ends in football to finish inside the top six and not only volume scoring but efficiency scoring as well both of these guys saw a good amount of volume both of these guys saw tons of efficiency and Jake Ferguson is ready to take the next step as Dallas's number two Target in this offense and if he does drafting him in the seventh round this year will be one of the biggest steals of any draft pick you make for step number five you know how when you head into your local grocery store there's always two different brands of products there's the name brand there's Coke there's Pepsi but then there's always an offbrand um Mr K or Big K or whatever they call them these days at Walmart and Meyer or Kroger or whatever is local to you and sometimes we always shoot for that lesser version it tastes pretty darn close it just costs us a little less money that's what Jaden Daniels is this year he's basically the offbrand of Lamar Jackson Jaylen Herz and Josh Allen and he's way cheaper and he's basically going to taste the same now maybe it was a little weird to say that Jaden Daniels tastes the same as the others but what I really mean by that is that he's going to offer you close to the same type of production because when you take a look at what he's going to offer you he's going to offer you some rushing upside he's going to offer you some touchdowns through the even if there may be some inconsistencies at times but what he does on the ground is going to help prop him up every single week and instead of needing to draft him in like the third or fourth round or maybe even the second round we're going to be taking him much later because right now he's currently the qb12 on draft day with an ADP of 100 overall sticking him right around the 10th round and you're going to be getting a lot of that dual threat upside from Lamar Jackson or Jaylen Herz or Josh Allen several rounds later with Jaden Daniels instead if that's what you want at your quarterback position then Jaden Daniels in the 10th round is absolutely the way to go all right I told you that there was going to be five steps but cue the music for bonus step time how about some late round sleepers to Target what about some guys that may still be sitting out on your waiver wire these are all guys that are being drafted in the 13th round or later that I really have my eye on this season of course Josh Palmer from the Los Angeles Chargers he pops up everyone's talking about what's going to happen at the running back position everyone's talking about lad Maki and how Justin Herbert's going to bounce back but nobody's talking about Josh Palmer right now and I think he is the guy that is best set up to contribute in a big way right away will Levis at 169 overall is a really good backup to Jaden Daniels if you are a little concerned that Daniels may not be as consistent as you would like will Levis has a big time arm and now he's got the big time weapons in Tennessee to try and help him out drafting him super late if you like to get super risky with your quarterback position is a whole lot of fun or if you're in a superflex or two quarterback League he is the perfect qb2 Tyrone Tracy Jr is still my pick to unseat Devin single ter at some point this season it may not happen week one it may not happen week five but down the stretch when you need help at the running back position the most Tyrone Tracy may have stolen Devin single Terry's job and if he did he could be one of the biggest waiver pickups of the entire season Michael Wilson from Arizona is going to get a shot right away with no Z Jones being suspended for the first five games of the season and if Michael Wilson comes out and performs well well there may not be a reason to throw Z on the field nearly as much when he comes back or at least Michael Wilson will create some of that rapport with Kyler Murray that hopefully will continue the rest of the year he is a big playmaker and stretching the field is something Arizona is going to need to be able to run the football and then also get Marvin Harrison Jr and Trey McBride open Michael Wilson could be the key to unlocking that Germaine Burton also a big time playmaker over in Cincinnati and while I am concerned about Joe Burrow's risk I'm not concerned about Joe Burrow's wrist late in your draft in the 15th or 16th or 17th round in the first round I am with Jamar Chase but this late in your draft I don't give a crap I'll take a shot at some upside with Germaine Burton who absolutely could stretch the field for some big plays this year Malachi Corley has a long road to go especially considering the fact that Aaron roders typically doesn't love throwing to his rookie wide receivers but maybe this is a different Aaron roders Maybe this is a different offensive scheme where Aaron Rogers isn't going to have a choice Malachi Corley has the opportunity to become to the New York Jets what Debo Samuel is to the San Francisco 49ers and that is a very invaluable piece that Aaron roders will not want to pass up what about diami Brown from Washington the trade of Jan Dawson caught everybody off guard including myself who had been talking about Jan doson for a couple of weeks now it caught me so off guard that my video that was supposed to come out over the weekend had to be completely scrapped and trashed because it was a mock draft video that had Jan doson in all four of the mock drafts that I did there was no fixing it I had to completely find something else to do but trading Jan doson just shows how much Washington must believe in diami brown who's probably currently available on your wer wire unless you play in a super deep league so while you may have drafted guys late like maybe a Brandon Cooks I'll take a shot on diami Brown instead but headliner Nation there are my five steps plus one bonus step that you need to follow in order to reel in as many fantasy championships as you can this season and don't forget the link to join me over on Underdog and our high stakes best ball league is in the description down below it's a $100 buying but with the deposit bonus that you would be getting you absolutely could jump in it for no cost to you and then you could play in some more leagues or you could even start doing some pick thems with week one just around the corner but headliner Nation down in the comments below I need # getet orone and then you need to give me one step that you follow every single year that you find that leads to Fantasy Football success and take a minute to read through the comments and if you find any that you agree with hit the like button on those so we can check and see how many of you out there are drafting similar after watching our videos but for now headliner Nation I'm going to call it there week one is almost here I am pumped for week one content hit the like button subscribe if you're new here leave a comment down below turn on the Bell
