More and more details are becoming known about the background to the knife attack in Solingen. Parts of the Syrian's confession video for the IS terrorist militia are said to have actually been made in Solingen . The clip consists of three parts. However, it is still unclear whether the hooded man who proclaims his loyalty to the Islamists is actually Issa al Hasan. A yellow raincoat played another important role in the 26-year-old's arrest. Victoria Grünenthal summarizes the current status of the investigation. It must have been right here. In front of this brick wall, the pixelated man from the third part of the alleged confession video spoke into the camera. This is what a world exclusive research shows. The poster can be seen briefly in the background at the end of the recording. It hangs eight meters high on Goerdelerstrasse at the corner of Florastrasse in Solingen, just four minutes away from the crime scene in the city center and just two minutes away from the refugee shelter where the suspect Issa al Hasan lived. In this part of the video, the stranger announces that there are only a few moments left. A masked man had previously said that the attack was also an act of revenge for the Palestinians. The Middle East conflict is making people more susceptible to radicalization, say extremism researchers. But now we are dealing with people who have either come to Germany specifically, i.e. who are using the refugees' routes to set up terrorist structures here. This means that they did not become radicalized in Germany, but in Syria or Iraq. And we have had a mood in the country since October 7th, especially on social media, that is allowing a lot of people to be recruited. The man in the video also claims to be a member of the Islamic State. In addition to these recordings, more and more clues are emerging. Around 25 hours after the crime, a witness apparently saw the alleged perpetrator Issa al Hasan on the bus. Take a photo of it. The 26-year-old is wearing a dirty yellow raincoat. This can also be seen in a picture of the moment of arrest . Another piece of evidence that points to Issa al Hasan as the perpetrator is the murder weapon. Investigators were now able to detect the Syrian's DNA on the 15 centimeter long knife.
