California is having a solid season so far dick I'll tell you one thing this team has two faces I asked the coach which version of the team is going to show up and he said that lack of preparation is on top and got it got to think right now got to focus defensively got a back screen being [Applause] set the inbound almost came up with a steal way out on top yeah P job of offensively getting in terms of spacing you want to be 15 to 17 ft apart now to get a little spacing offensively gives you better opportunity for penetration got a guy right on him and up and sinks it take some flight on the defensive end a high screen tries to get free with a vut number 50 for two Patience by the dribbler being shown as the offense is reset with a deep two he gets it to go they get the back green [Applause] set out of the low block try to work inside F what a great at the free throw line opportunity it's good they're pushing him towards the trap in the corner the skip pass is picked off oh what a nice little break two on one stay a little wider in the lane make it difficult for one guy to play two great execution you can see they run that in practice often trying to go inside nice there was contact shot off three on two fast break almost lost the basketball number 24 grabs it there's the screen up on top defense wanting to force alive as they front the post he takes the shot from the Bas line here's the back screen ball coming in from the side it's going to be a zone offense against this defense he hits a bulls eye again he's feeling it from everywhere [Applause] baby here's a Down Low screen being set kicks it out defense playing up uses the v-cut to try to get open there's a steel we going the other way after that nice strip he's got a high post flasher he shoots from the elbow got a man in high Post Number 24 receives the ball Nails the long range bomb keeps the dribble as they regroup defense giving no room he intercepts it the shooting guard handles the pass number 15 for [Applause] two classic battle going on down to the post he puts up the tray he gets the bucket to fall [Applause] keeps the dribble as they set it up again tightly guarded he hammers it home showing great patience as he waits for the reset of the offense good pressure here by the defense Not Cool by the screen as they make the switch that's picked off hey kids got great [Applause] it number 21 handles the feed he missed the guy in the post and goes the other way spacing so important where's he go where's he going they're going to call this one a backourt violation dick you can't make mistakes like that to often BL they set up for offense to attack this Zone they work a screen down low close out by the D trying to feed the low block a lot of good things happen when you bring the ball down to the inside they get that rejected defense closes out to with a defensive stop there's that high screen ni flash out defensively here's a screen down on the [Applause] post there's the three close game headed toward halftime I can't wait to see the rest of this one baby defense denies the post trying to force the L number 13 for two he uses that big frame to set the in screen the defense closes out on the pass trying to feed inside wow what hop baby what hop terrible hair though at least he's got here I don't have any you don't need a headband and up off the glass great v-cut to get an opening charging call that's a Next Level move on the defender's part baby cter showing up in the lane he goes for the trifecta that was nice the defense trying to force shot that was textbook basketball with the assist there dick hey same result as a dazzlin dunk baby defense stays Keen with the switch off the screen greens it show me that one again looking for a good shot number 21 or two so the inbound play on the Baseline screen set for the shot Beyond The Arc at the half the Golden Gophers are behind by three dick we've got a close one here tonight my friend give us your highlight of the night so far my highlight and a half has to be this high flying slam jam baby he went up like he wanted to tear the rim down on this one well partner let's get good as a block number 15 for [Applause] two they try to free him up for a three with a [Applause] screen there's a slam great execution that's offensive offici see out its best the Golden Gophers take a timeout still time to pull this one out dick you think I guarantee you that's what the coach is trying to sell on the sideline right now it'll be interesting to see who responds how out of the timeout BR number 50 for two he Nails the bucket 7 Seconds to put up a shot 5 seconds remaining on the shot clock three-pointer and air ball timeouts called time is not on their side right now Brad they need some big shots baby we'll see who's got more coming out of this timeout as play resumes he unloads sweet looking shot he is super he really [Applause] is he stops the clock with an
