the Golden Gophers are coming into this game having lost five in a row no one likes losing or you drop this many in a row you start to second guess yourself in your teammate you have to agree Brad losing as much mental than anything else [Music] play Baby play ball the EV tosses it up and we're underway got a nice screen on the drib it up sets the screen for his teammate defense got it after knocking it Loose pushing up basketball good hands there as the offense went up for the shot but they got it back coach looks on focused lot of intensity lot of emotion number zero her two buried it they go into a zone offense in response to this defense it's getting physical down low puts it up looking for contact too much contact there it knocked him off balance a little he'll regroup the offense run him right at the screen again what did I say number 50 takes the shot out of the air they get out on the break he complement the three on two break with a strong basket at the hoop whole team that's on the floor is quick but so is the defense and they do a nice job they move to set up a back screen screen going to use it he's got an open look for the shot tries to work the v-cut to get open got a guy right up on him Cross Court jumped in front to take it away jumper off transition perfectly executed he hits the lane Hard To The Hoop they set an offense to score against this Zone number 24 for two dick you think they're going to stay this hot hey it doesn't look like they're slowing down my friend they deliver the back screen Defenders right up on him looking to move it around the perimeter down low screen being set the point guard with the the ball he intercepts it very active defensively in their Zone he fires it up he might be out his way to a career game partner well he will Brad if they don't get somebody on him in a hurry takes care of the ball until the offense resets they make the switch off the screen passed out they're battling it out on the week side post [Applause] BR they get a back screen he stepped out away from the defense to get that pass seven on the shot clock five on the shot clock very quick with the basketball he squats it away they're call for a shot clock violation very for ball movement Brad the defense is doing a great job of keeping the ball out of scoring positions they get a screen set down in the paint [Applause] oh good job po job offensively I'm coaching he's sitting next to me as an assistant coach he's pounding the ball with a deck where's he going here's a flash from the high post one of the things you want to do in rejected here they go into the break not getting great looks in terms of perimeter threes defense really extended on that perimeter line cutter flashes in the [Applause] lane defense adjusts to the screen by switching uses the v-cut to try to get free entry pass in the paint number 52 stops [Applause] IT the big man moves downward to set the pick he clangs the three-point attempt number 50 with a finger roll it's a screen down low number 52 with a huge jam look how speed I tell you man there's nothing like having athleticism and quickness Northwestern is just lighting it up from the field the offense sets up from the sideline shoots it perfectly executed he takes the shot off the Baseline man down low as the ball hits the wing he lets it go that comes off might have been some contact on the shot little bump says I like that now let's see if we can convert he'll go to the [Applause] line just like in practice time out hey these kids are driving me crazy BR this game is too close thundering SWAT there the drive coming back the other way two with a lay [Applause] in picked off on the drive for two big points [Applause] he shoots from left to the circle and it rattled around and he got the shooters roll he takes the ball away that great defense or what day yeah and he left without a DI in his pocket Brad he attempts the shot shot dick here are some of our hustle point stats hey Brad I really believe the hustle points equates the winning points I agree with you it's usually a good indication of the game story tries for two easy one number 14 is pounded on his way up a chance for [Applause] two gets the first second one is no good the free throw line is really doing a number on this team tonight dick well you know don't blame the line BR it's just laying there these kids just aren knocking them down I tell you they're getting free ones tonight and not making them count number 13 or [Music] [Applause] two guys are really ready for this match up red and they are ready to make a lot of noise nice step out to get the pass he steals it put him off guard there they call for a to Dick hey time is their worst enemy at this point Brad they going to have to bear down and get some stops then convert up the over it'll be interesting to see the level of energy dick when they come out of this timeout lets it fly off the back of the iron they force a turnover dick hey I don't know about you Brad but I'm talking over right now timeouts call and coach wants to just talk about how they're going to overcome this big deficit back to the action now half let's see what they set up here intentional foul granted the losing team feels a little desperate about the clock Brad he goes to the free throw line makes the foul shot second one no good the wild cats desperately need a score to make it a one possession game they want to talk about it right here dick they got to find a way to chip for this lead before it's too late we'll see who's got more coming out of this timeout as play resumes bricks it off the iron that's what you need baby someone to step up and snatch that down boy he really got in there in a hurry didn't he Minnesota wins in overtime the team has got the feel good about a win like this
