plate and the Pitcher hunter that they will face is a young rander who's in the big leagues for the first time this year and he's having a solid year Tobias Meers he sure is 103 innings in a third he's got 90 strikeouts he doesn't walk he just 27 walks but he's given up a lot of barrels when you look at the percentages amongst the league he's in like the 20 percentile so he's been getting hit hard but he's had a lot of success making you beat him the expected ra though is a 411 versus his actual 287 and we'll I'm sure talk about that as the series goes on the Brewers are a very good defensive team that's a big part of their success first place team in the central Lamont Wade Jr swings at the first pitch of the day and one pitch one out as Wade is retired well let's to take a look Mariners were throwing him hits this one high in the air down the right field side we'll see if it's playable it is not back into the seats and for Tyler he's having just a phenomenal rookie season still 900 you know over 900 Ops which is Allstar caliber and it's going to be you're going to be hard pressed to find three right-handed pitchers back to back to back like he just saw in Seattle that was some really good arms you got Castillo 97 you got Kirby and and then you got woo what and what he has been doing so yeah get to a new place is a great hitters park and continue going to work and he he still helped us he had some tough at bats but welcome to Milwaukee Tyler it's about as hard of a road trip for hitters as you could dial up I mean these two teams the Mariners and the Brewers pitch It 2 two that one is popup on the infield who's going to take it Myers does not want to so he'll leave it for Adamas the short stop and for the Brewers defensively tonight and the Outfield from left to right you got Jackson Cheo Blake Perkins in Center South freck in right and on the infield Joey or Willie Damas at Short Bryce terang reys Hoskins and behind home William contras the Northern Logan will be just limit the base runners because the Brewers they love to run and that's how they sort of create a lot of their offense create some Havoc out there and with the new rules speed is a valuable tool it's never been a better time to try to use the running game than right now still one and two third steals as a team in all of Big League Baseball so really good defense speed and excellent pitching that's kind of the formula for this Brewers team the old school there's Pat Murphy who everyone's talking about how great a job he's done since taking over and he's got a little old which we haven't seen much of that from him now there goes right away Chio the throw is going to be late and we told you it was coming this is what the Brewers do and he can absolutely fly it's faster than the baseball and and even just the pressure you know he appli to Tyler Fitz on just a routine ground out speed guys they seem to get on infield hits and infield airs it's almost like you should get credit for a forced error sometimes William Contreras who's having an All-Star year as the catcher it's one of those sneaky stats yeah it's not really accounted for the hitter doesn't get credit for those but you're right about that so they've hit two ground balls to Short and they have a runner in scoring position chance to take an early lead against web and the Giants the thing about the Brewers in their steals you know when you play the Reds it's sort of Ellie De La Cruz and then everybody else another foul but with the Brewers the the speed and the running game is from top to bottom it's dynamic athletic lineup almost anybody I mean Tang's the he he leads him and he's got 37 so he's their best base stealer way outside with the slider two and two to contras you get the DH the whole week that's going to be a theme for the Brewers 3-2 conteras on the ground but another foul ball yeah the Giants could really use getting Bailey back and that arm is just such a weapon Logan pulls back one of the hardest things to do in Major League Baseball if you ask me is to get a sacrifice bunt down seems easy enough but it's a whole different angle you got to be willing to take one in the teeth McCrae runs it was kind of a hit and run swing and miss the ball goes to the back stop so Grant McCrae is going to get himself a steal and now you know he he he swung at it he did what you're supposed to do and luckily didn't foul it off cuz McCrae just got such a good jump take another look at this hit and run right here and this slider not even close but you got to protect it all the way to the back stop and now if you're Casal it's can you hit a ground or to Second maybe get MCC to third that's Paul two that was a good jump for a get sometimes if you're putting a play on that's not just a straight steel especially younger players have a hard time getting that really good jump that was a good one and he's also super fast cassali deep down the left field line but he hooked it foul and this is the the big leagues they're just they know you're trying to hit a grounder the other way they're going to throw you top of the zone and they're going to throw you inside Cali does a good job spoiling got the call strike three and just a perfect pitcher pitch right there freezes Cali and it's tough when you get two strikes and you got to execute and he paints that one down and away and just o freezes him so one out and here's Lamont Wade Jr Giants with a runner in scoring position another low strike yeah the Umpire Jordan Baker is given that low strike tonight and they're hitting the K Zone those are good pitches JS already 0 for four with runners in scoring position they're getting some chances here went up it's 0 and two Wade let off the game and flyed out on the very first pitch of the game one and two pulled foul Dave I think today is National foul ball day it feels like it at Le it's at least here in the city of Milwaukee we have a ton of foul balls already in this game can see who that's a b yep can't do that and we didn't show it McCrae took off about two pitches ago and they've been adamus and them have been really holding them on that's what speed does he's getting in their head a little bit and yeah you can see it was right before he slipped and committed the B McCrae was dancing around adamus came back to C yeah and and the pitch before well I let him Wade ground ball right side that's going to get the run home McCrae will come in to score so Lamont makes an out but puts the Giants ahead and that's execution right there find a way to got five steals Bowers foul ball so the Giants turn to walk into a run the Brewers with the single and the two-run Homer have gone right back it's their first lead of the game that one to left Ramos all carryed pretty well with the roof open the panels open p tras is tagging here comes the throw that was close but he's safe that was aggressive and that was that's just heads up base runner right there he he knows it's deep and probably caught or a homer tags right away and challenges Ramos Ramos got behind it but Bowers just hit it deep enough he made a good throw so because of that tag got him now there's nobody at third Fitzgerald trying to get over to cover and so Perkins pretty heads up base running makes it to third the Giants did get the out yeah and that's a little bit of a and matching we had a quick look there in The Dugout of Chris hook a former Giants pitcher who is the pitching coach here in Milwaukee and I think he gets a lot of credit from a lot of folks he's done a really good job here it's a great pitching coach name he had a good curveball I mean he he did Big hook one and two to Ramos two and two giants with three runs on three hits a Chapman home run a McCrae home run and Grant McCrae created a run out of thin air with a walk of Steel and a b Ramos hits a liner to short for out number three Giants go down in order on to the bottom of the six 3-2
