seems like there's more pressure he's more calm and settles in he's done an incredible job runners in scoring position and most guys they get a little tight they start to aim the baseball but for some reason he gets looser the ball comes out of his hand with more life and he's able to wiggle off the hook of you know tough situations and get his team back in the Dugout first 76 rander kicks deals that one fouled [Applause] off and the righty deals stays alive leftand batter weights Fly ball down the line and it's stays Fair round first and hustling for second and it's a double to start the game he went up there and got it with two strikes I'm not going to leave this in the umpire's hands I'm going to be aggressive it was in a location where he could get those arms extended that he loves to do so nice job right there coming back in that at bat next for Milwaukee Jackson Chio third baseman playing on the edge of the grass looking for the sack bun pitch misses there one [Applause] and0 Runner and scoring position no out and we're just getting started here in the top of the first big swing and a miss [Music] one swings through down he has a tendency to chase out of the zone and that slider that's down that's one of his money pitches to get that swing and Miss swing and a high fly ball down the right field line he's got it grounder tags it second and he makes it up to third with one away let's take a look at the Brewers lineup Chris this is a lineup offensively that could be really good for years to come they're deep first and foremost but the way that they can manipulate their personnel for matchups and everything else it's uh very intelligent the way that they use their team and I I think it creates a little bit of uh uncertainty for opposing teams especially in a slider didn't move to the very last moment incredibly difficult to pick that up just going to have to tip your cap on that pit in the dirt nice job behind the plate runner on a third one gone that's toward Center should have this one he makes the grab Runner tagging from Third Run scores easily and it's one nothing well that's a quality at bat right there you know the situation you need something real quality starter for his club and coming into this one what stands out for me is that right-handed hitters have really struggled batting below 200 on the it seems they have a hard time picking up track to the majors few scouts out there believe a growth spurt helped change Ellie's entire career and there's a hit so they get a man a board with a one out single couldn't have timed it up any better than that anytime you rip a line drive the other way you feel really good about what you did in the play you trusted your hands the ball travel and you took the barrel straight to it that's now for the Brewers singy You' got to appreciate a guy who's this good defensively I mean watching him track balls in the Outfield it is beautiful fouled off left side and I would say that most great defensive outfielders it's kind of natural there is some work that you can do to it uh to improve your game but ultimately you either have it or you don't I'm sure he feels really good about that one he wasn't able to elevate it but he put a great hang on it right on time good balanced approach and just blasted it through the infield and now they've got some speed on first so we'll see if they try to get him into motion back to the top of the Milwaukee order this is Bryce terang and that one pulled foul there's one guy that I can think about Boo who started as a third baseman Alex Gordon and then became an elite perennial gold Glover out in left field for the Kansas City Royals but he's a guy when you watch him play you would imagine that that's all he ever played in his life was the Outfield and no one can get there to third lead Runner holds to third so two runners in scoring position and just one out wasting no time he's two for two now on the night and just a triple and home run away from the cycle seriously we're starting with this already [Applause] second and third one gone here's the left fielder Jackson Chio golden opportunity right here that one finds the Zone basem kind of have the day off regularly because they don't run around the whole lot but when you think about it they are involved in just about every single play and there's a lot of stress that gets put on their legs so a well deserved day at the D Spot for it that was a well executed slider away for the strike out right there first two pitches filed up The Zone and got him ahead 02 in the count and at that point you can start expanding the zone as a pitcher made him Chase and got a quick strike out Dom Smith stands in and that one lifted in the air center field two away the third Bas number four now the third baseman Santiago espol [Applause] and first off ring is fouled off two outs grab ball up the middle it's through for a hit timing on the swing was good up the middle didn't up as much as he probably would have like that's a good approach paying off and now the right fielder will Benson that one catches the corner for a strike the Brewers up by a run we're here in the bottom of to to chat with Wilson big brother and ask him about little brother and he smiled as well said yeah he's good and gave me that look that I think he might be better than me eventually pretty Frugal guy well looking to get the tying run on base that one finds the zone and it's nothing in two checks his swing now appeal to third ah and he punches him out he went around pretty big strike out right there to start this eighth inning down one any lead off base runner really makes this inning a bit more interesting but now this offense has to switch from possibly trying to manufacture a run to need ball swing in a miss and he's down on strikes two away now Joseph Ortiz up now for the Brewers oh0 for three with two ground outs and a strike out in the air left field steer makes the catch and that is that so no runs here on a base hit no errors and one left bottom part of the order 789 two up in inning number nine it's the Brewers two and the Reds one back now as they hand the ball to a fresh arm to start the bottom of the N Devin Williams I think closer has to be one of the toughest jobs in baseball we see a pretty high turnover rate because of it every outing seems to be high pressure this one included we'll see if he can wrap up the win and get himself a save and here it comes and he lays down a bu not in time he legs it out this is a big part of his skill set and he puts himself into situations where he can rely on his speed to impact the ball game and this is just another example of it and we'll see what else he can do now that he's on first here's the third baseman Santiago espo and there's no doubt that they'll feed off the energy from this crowd right I mean yeah I'd say the intensity level has gone up a few notches for [Applause] sure I love this part of the game does he really want to try and steal second against this catcher I know he's fast but it's pretty [Applause] risky one run game bottom nine and strike two yeah you can see just kind of stabbed at that one instead of just keeping his hands soft and absorbing the baseball with the bat [Applause] to third can't glove it cleanly not in time he's safe that that had a lot lining on it certainly a purp swing of the bat in this ball game now that sets up a huge of B in this ball game substitution being made at first and here's the pinch Runner Greese hind with the tying run and scoring position in the bottom of the ninth next for Cincinnati will Benson that one misses and that's ball one all comfortable or not these are the situations closers they seem to live for when you get into some hot water Jam tough spot whatever you want to call it but this is where they earn their keep so the tying run at second just missed could be some action here on this next pitch couple Runners on probably a challenge pitch coming great through there for a strike two one [Applause] and fouled off nobody out both the tying and winning runs on base strike three got him swinging and that is a big first out three strikeouts already it's hard not to think negative but you got to find a way to somehow Center up the baseball and put it in play righty delivers fou back ourway and that's out of play [Music] two on one out and that one's a little bit low and it's one and two really close pitch down around the knees there and you could see him asking where it missed probably doesn't agree but it appears he's ready to move on to the next [Applause] pitch now one out to right and that'll fall for a base hit Runner around third on his way to the late he'll score an En Tire it's 22 huge moment for him and his team Bo you know some guys just grip it a bit too tight in a big spot like this having a chance to tie it up in the bottom of the night but he didn't let the moment get to him comes up with the RBI knock Bry Wilson into the game he's been so good against left [Applause] Ellie De La Cruz the next to hit for the Reds now one missed one ball no [Applause] strike the winning run and third we're in the last half of the ninth inning and a pitch out but nothing going on [Applause] and the pitch that's off the mark and that's ball three this situation he's trying to get you to pop something up or Jam you it's a really good take knowing you got an opportunity to drive in a run here let's see if he gives him anything to hit here or he walked in and that keeps things going that sets up a really big in this game these are the moments when everyone in the stadium gets really locked in next to hit Tyler Stevenson chop left side down the line and it's foul [Applause] Feld two fights it off he'll see [Applause] another and the right-hander deals keeps the back going with a foul ball I think ultim Ely you want to tie him up get the ball in on the plate so that he can't get the barrel to it and hit it to the Outfield and a foul ball he stays [Applause] alive gets a piece and it stays on and two right hander kick deals foul ball it stays nothing in two back and forth we go a seesaw battle in the late stages of this one next pitch is outside well I think he's trying to get a feel for where that one missed I mean it could have gone either way but he looked a little shocked for a second [Applause] there that's foul off to the right side keeps the ab going I don't know how this is bad in but I'll be sad when it does so much fun watching this thing go back and did that but then they got the extra to put themselves on top these players knew exactly what it was going to take to win this ball game I love it when you see a team find a way to win and that's what
