AT 80 YEARS OLD HE'S REALLY GOOD. YOU CAN STILL BE A GOOD CONSULTANT. WHAT IS REALLY SMART IS AND HAS BEEN A MISTAKE FOR DEMOCRATS TO CONSTANTLY TALK ABOUT HOW DANGEROUS TRUMP IS. IT MAKES HIM BIGGER. WOULD JAMES IS SAYING IS LAUGH AT HIM AND IT DIMINISHES HIM. MAKE HIM WEIRD. THAT THING IS REALLY WORKING. AND I THINK THERE'S A LOT OF VALUE IN THAT IDEA. AND HE MAKES IT CLEAR THAT THE CHALLENGE FOR HARRIS IS SHE'S IN THE POSITION OF SAYING, IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE, STAY THE COURSE. BUT I THINK SHE'S DONE AN ARTFUL JOB SEPARATING HERSELF FROM JOE BIDEN RESPECTFULLY AND COMING OUT WITH NEW POLICIES AND TORCHING HER OWN WAY AND IT'S THE FREEDOM AGENDA AND IT SEPARATES HER AND THAT'S REALLY SMART. >> WHAT YOU THINK? >> I THINK HE'S ABSOLUTE RIGHT. IT SEEMS THAT PEOPLE LIKE LINDSEY GRAHAM ARE CAUTIONING HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM. A LOT OF FOLKS ARE WAITING TO SEE THE DEBATE AND SEE HOW FAR HE WILL TAKE IT. BUT AS HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATED, THE FARTHER HE GOES, THE FARTHER PEOPLE GO AWAY FROM HIM AND EMBRACE KAMALA HARRIS BECAUSE OF THE FRESHNESS THAT JAMES CARVILLE TALKED ABOUT WHO IS FRESH INTO HIS STALE AND WHO PEOPLE WANT TO GO WITH HER NEW DIRECTION FOR THIS COUNTRY AND WHO THEY KNOW WILL TAKE THEM BACKWARDS. >> WE GO BACK TO WHAT YOU SAID THAT SHE'S COMING OUT WITH NEW POLICIES AND PRESENTING THEM ALMOST EVERY DAY. NUTS WITH THE REPUBLICANS WILL TRY TO DO.>> TRUMP HAS NOT HAD ANY SINCE HE BEGAN THIS WHOLE THING. TO HARRIS CAMPAIGN AND THE DNC ARE ABOUT TO SPEND AN UNPRECEDENTED AMOUNT OF MONEY ON DOWN-BALLOT RACES. LIKE $25 MILLION. AND YOU ARE HEARING REPUBLICANS IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE STARTING TO PANIC ABOUT THE SPENDING GAP. DO DEMOCRATS REALLY HAVE A SHOT?>> THE GUY WHO SPENT ABOUT $100 MILLION IN 2004, I SAID I THINK WE ARE WASTING MONEY. I THINK IT IS SMART TO TAKE THAT MONEY AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT DOWN-BALLOT RACES AND THAT'S WHAT THE REAL DIFFERENCE WILL BE IS VOTER REGISTRATION AND NEW VOTERS. I JUST LEFT A GROUP OF YOUNG FOLKS IN MADISON , WISCONSIN, EARLIER TODAY, AND IT WAS A CROWD OF ABOUT 60 YOUNG PEOPLE. AND THESE WERE FOLKS JUST COMING TO CAMPUS. THIS IS THEIR FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS ON CAMPUS, AND THEY ARE SHOWING UP TO GET ACTIVATED. THESE ARE YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE KEEN ON KEEPING THAT TITLE IN THIS PRESIDENTIAL RACE. >> THERE REGISTERING TO VOTE.
