yesterday's price and auk's been playing that game every single contract that comes in the Niners unfortunately have not the ners have said we've got our set amount of money we're willing to pay we'll receiver in San Francisco even with Debo on the roster if all goes well but that's still hard pressed type of thing for him to do when you've got Debo CMC KD and and and I don't understand what auk's not getting about the fact that the Niners are going to need him less than the Patriots the Niners are going to need him less than the Pittsburgh Steelers he can get more money elsewhere but he's not getting top five wide receiver money he hasn't earned that he's not a top five wide receiver I can list 8 to 10 wide receivers that are better than Brandon auk just in without even thinking let alone I push him outside of the top 10 could he eventually become a top 10 wide receiver I think he could I think in the right scenario he could he goes to Washington and he becomes the number one there I certainly think it's possible but in San Francisco he hasn't earned top five six seven wide receiver money and he probably will not earn top five wide receiver money in San Francisco why because the number one wide receiver on the team is Debo Samuel the number one wide receiver on the team is a a receiver that plays wide back that has a a compartmentalized workload for him that gets him to that number gets him to that importance of of of value auk is not going to be that for the ners and he seems to think he can play hard ball with a team that doesn't really care they want to get this done yes but they need to crap or get off the pot the Niners are the ones that need to say look we're going to put you out in the spotlight and we're going to announce to the world that we've accepted a trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers and it's up to you Brandon to come to contract terms with these guys and if you're going to up your value because of cidd Lamb's new contract you're going to be sitting out the entire season and the ners should make a statement at this point in time by making auk's value go down we're going to we're going to we're going to bench him you know he's no longer considered a starter at this moment in time we're putting in cowing or whatever and I'm not saying you make some sort of commitment cemented in but you're making a statement on the practice field you're making a statement through reporters you're making a statement that we are moving on iuk we wanted him to be a part of this this is the kind of way that I would handle it make a statement we wanted auk to be a part of this our door is open he can certainly wiggle his way back into the the pecking order but we have to move on at this point because we have a game to play and IU can't just walk in and be this Elite wide receiver that he thinks he is that he thinks he's willing to get paid uh he's willing to accept top five money how generous of him to not want number one overall money he wants top five or six overall money cowing is the best wide receiver on the roster outside of Debo Samuel and that that that is a development because I like purol a lot pisol can't stay healthy and Co looks like a dog coing looks like a somewhat of a a mix between auk and puka Aura and I'm not saying CO's a lock by any means but if I'm Kyle Shanahan I make a bold statement that CO's going into the the wide receiver two spot and iuk can try and take it back from him but I would make a bold statement that the values iuk in in a in a way that auko is running for the contract that Pittsburgh's offering him and and he says before anything gets tainted here I better get the hell out of here before they set me on fire because my value is going to tank I would take control of this situation if bit higher ceiling than AJ Brown um and I say that because AJ Brown they brought Barkley in goddard's healthy like there's a lot more there's a lot more targets to be had that wouldn't have been grabbed had those you know those two things haven't been injected into this situation so it's not like but it's a new offense they're going to throw more it's Kell Moore but now you have Jan Dawson like so there's there's some concerns that his ceiling isn't as high as it could be but he's very safe Garrett Wilson's just the definition of highrisk high reward you like rolling the dice I would as if it's so outrageous that iuk is auk's earned this this value so so much already uh McLaren's been sitting without a quarterback for a long time and we're about to see mclen who is and I'm not saying Iuka isn't one of the better route runners in the league but McClaren has had that title for longer McLaren's been one of the best route runners in the league for years and while his his longevity is not the same as aukes I get that but McClaren is a better player right now especially when you consider the holdout risk and the mind games that I that auk's going to be going through like if you are trying to argue that okay if in the most optimal scenario if aayu could never held out he'd be working on this all offseason he'd be getting improved and better and stronger faster then maybe I'd be like yeah they could be pretty even this year or maybe auk's going to be better this year but I du is going to have a bad year now he's going to get hurt or he's going to be absolutely out of sync him and py aren't going to have good report this happened with Debo even Bosa had problems meshing in in this Niner system when he sat out and had the hold out year the contract year mclen especially given the the context of everything is going to annihilate Brandon iuk in in fantasy points this year we don't know if we don't even know where auk's head is at and and and and somebody's going to come in and go oh well he got hurt of course he that's part of the problem auk has got a huge injury risk right now so mclen blows him out of the water so here's the thing do we back stable going to potentially dry up and not get you Kiren So my answer to you is only you're going to know whether you're going to have a better odds of not get screwed out of the combo here and
