you want him to to be doing that kind of stuff I remember when etn had his foot injury and then everyone was concerned about it and and they said are you good to go he said I'm good to go but I'm going to continue my rehab throughout the entire year CU I want to stay ahead of it so hopefully Gibb stays on top of this and and rehabs uh throughout the entire entirety of the Season just to keep things healthy and good to go but I he's a young guy I have no concerns whatsoever and there's Rumblings and and talk around uh League circles that some people are suggesting that 2,000 total yards is doable for him this year and I 100% concur on that comment and prediction you've just been Smitty approved I I think jir Gibbs is easily capable of that kind of production and I love when a an unaware anger or a crying Caleb or a scared Scotty or a petrified Peter walks into this live stream or the comment section later on and says something as ridiculous as he's still sharing Carrie SM Smitty I don't understand he's he's the backup Smitty uh jir Gibbs is still sharing the backfield with Montgomery as if this is this is your mom and dad's you know running back stable as as th this is not that this is not your dad's running back stable this is a stable that has two components to it that have no relation to the other Gibbs is going to get his work it's compartmentalized and no one's saying that Monty's not getting 8 to 10 touchdowns on 800 900 yards rushing they're going to run the ball and not to mention teams like the Lions and and some of the best rushing teams in the league they run terms of yards per carry 5.2 5.2 with the qualifying amount of of carries here really really when you keep in mind look at kyen down at the bottom there 5.0 when you keep in mind that that if you have over 100 carries which is only qualifier you can throw aan in because it's not like aan got 200 carries anan's the leading yardage getter yards per car in National Football League history with 7.8 running back one I'm saying he could be running back one the other thing I want to say real quickly is is that we came in here when this hamstring thing surfaced and we said take advantage for as long as you can draft him in the second round for as long as you can no one's going to get him in in the late second but he fell from 7 89 overall to 12 13 14 for for some time we took advantage I drafted Gibbs in handfuls and handfuls of drafts where he was my second round pick and in those leagues I feel like I have the best chance to win those those contests because I got a guy I believe can be number one overall out of out of all running backs in 2024 he can don't don't think for a second jir Gibbs can't there's actually scientific data that we've collected over the course of about a year that we put into a system that we've calibrated that that that that spits this number out like it's not like I'm just coming in here and just telling you oh gut instinct he's going to be a top five running back we have actual s scientific data proven through algorithmic complex structures which I will show you right now but the Continuum of the jigawatt component structure of jir gibbs's back ready to rumble for week one this is fantastic news for anybody that has the running back this is also a running back that was had at a discount the only difference between jir Gibbs and Christian mcaffrey would be that well mcaffrey is an older player he's 28 years old Ziggy how old is Christian mcaffrey Christian mcaffrey is 28 years old and was born on June 7th 1996 just turned 28th though so it's not like he's turning 29 in you know December but there's definitely some concern of injury with this guy because the last time he toted the rock as many times as he toted it last year he was then missing two consecutive Seasons at a younger age so there's there's reason to go jir Gibbs over Christian mcaffrey which which I'm not saying you have to do that I'm just saying it's wild we got jir Gibs in round two for as long as we did it's so it's crazy just like when Kiron had his foot injury everyone's like oh my God Kyon lost his job KY had his foot injury he sat out with a little bit of a just a minor foot maybe little pain you know almost like a almost like a little cramp little cramp in the foot lasted about a week and a half and then chirone was back out there just cutting left and right and people panicked and God was crazy but but when you sit here and you go you sit here and you go is maccaffrey going to stay healthy all year it's it's a tall order it doesn't matter what he's done it doesn't matter he's Christian McCaffrey doesn't ma like you guys got to understand at some point the the shoe drops at some point and and you can't use Derrick Henry because that's an anomaly Beyond anomalies and the data is the data 28 years old you can do it and Christian mcaffry is 28 he can do it moster doesn't count moster didn't have a full workload for years and years and years when you're 28 what happened to Eckler last year at 28 and you could blame it on the ankle sprains or whatever but it happened Aaron Jones you can blame it on that he got hurt because he was very productive when he was on the field that's the way I Envision mcaffrey going down his final year whenever it happens if it's this you're not it'll be very productive but can't stay healthy that's what 28 does you can either hold on to the hope that he will have one more year and listen to the words coming out of my mouth cuz some of you anti you know injury content people are going to say Smitty you're still doubting mcaffrey I'm not doubting mcaffrey mcaffry is going to be a top one to three running back every game he starts and plays that of that I have no doubt he has not dropped off physically visually okay this is not like Todd Gurley where I actually saw the drop off I sounded the alarm people were drafting him in the first second third overall pick and I'm sitting there with the iPad remember no Todd Gurley no Todd Gurley smashing the iPad p and eventually people started to catch on and by the time draft season came around uh August he started to drop but this is not that this is something where uh this is see Nick Nick Nick this is uh unfortunately Nick is is going to get his lap because he doesn't listen Nick you don't listen take it it it's not about physical drop off whatsoever this is not going to be that situation even Mixon physical drop off he his drop off is coming because Ziggy how old is Joe Mixon 28 live from the fanty football show button uh so Joe Mixon 28 years old Joe Mixon is 28 year old years old as well physical drop off we've seen it he has tailed off like he was very inefficient last year he was running back four or five year he's a big planet Uranus man list don't own Joe Mixon but the thing is with with CMC it's like he'll be amazing per start but will his body not allow him to play even remotely close to 17 games my answer is I believe that it's going to be he's going to be hard pressed to do it I think there is a world where you draft him he blows up and then at the end of the day he ends up being tradable beyond anything you ever thought you could get and then you end up getting out of this so if you did draft CMC and and you ride him through about one month one month and a half of football you might be able to sell him for the world you ever dress in my merch yes I do all the time I I wear it all the time I got my jir G I got jir Gibb shirt which I constantly wear okay you want you want me to want me to play dress up for you pal here you go how's this okay how's this shop key you want me to play dress up here we go I should have wore this you're you're probably right I should have wore this during the jir Gibs M potatoes you want this shop key is this what you want shop key how about this do what you want with mcaffrey so here's the thing we everybody's pretty much drafted I got two drafts coming up still but not everybody has drafted or has has a draft to go so I get it but if you own him just you're going to ride it out for at least a month you got to he'll probably be healthy for month the only thing I'm concerned about is is the Cav inury fully healed you don't always know until you go out there and you cut in game speed he he's probably out there cutting a little bit lesser than that right now cuz he's worried about he's trying to give himself every single you know minute he can of not reinjuring it so you really don't quite know so there's concerned cuz he's 28 you might say well aren't you concerned about Jamir Gibbs maybe not firing off that hamstring quite the same I'm not as much worried because he's a young man he's a young man where his muscles are going to heal quicker his ligaments aren't aren't as vulnerable there's so many things that go into a younger player that make it you know much much easier pill to swallow when you're talking about being out for the year having some long lingering hamstring injury now he could just cuz you're young doesn't mean you're uh immune to any hamstring or soft tissue injuries but you are certainly vulnerable at 8 years old with a workload that McCaffrey's had again the workload with the age is is the the two components that have to be there if you're a moster and you're 30 something years old and you haven't had the workload you can't squeak by and have a season like moster did maccaffrey has been the most utilized running back in the National Football League for years he is the most utiliz utilization wise for his offense he's the most biggest part percentage wise of his offense of any running back in the National Football League and he has been even dating back to Carolina even more so back in Carolina so that's that's what we're talking about here Christian mcaffrey ready to go according to the reports hopefully he stays healthy Nick I hope you're back from your lap because you don't pay attention but that's okay um Nick we'll see you we'll see you on the next comment uh Trey uh Trent Williams extended finally the ners Step Up do the right thing and they even extended Debo or or or restructured Debo today but why why they why the Niners wait until the last second is just unreal like you're not saving money Trent Williams didn't fold auk didn't fold you know CMC didn't fold and they they did take care of that one rather quickly these are situations where they didn't save money by waiting they didn't they didn't Strongarm these players into into meeting not even anywhere close to the middle like way on the side of the player this is a situation where the team literally dragged out everything to the point where Trent Williams is going to be a massive injury risk if Trent Williams can Stave off injury I will be shocked now if auk can can be in tune and Stave off injury I'm not saying he has to get hurt or he will get hurt but he'll probably either get hurt even if it's a small amount of time I'm talking about Brandon iuk or he'll be out of out of sink and out of touch for a little while this is just it's it's all coming together though McCaffrey's back Trent Williams is back Debo's probably going to be pretty happy with the restructured deal auk's got his payment his his payday this is a this is a coming together in the 11th Hour like I've never seen the Niners are one of the luckiest teams in the world when it comes to things coming together and they're very very lucky they're a very lucky team but you got you got to worry about whether the the the brass and the the the boys upstairs making these decisions on top of kylin and John they are included in that did they make all these decisions too late because I've never also seen a team get so lucky and not suffer injury last year they escaped injury like no other last year it's going to be a a miracle which could happen if they escape injury with all these situations with the older players the even the KD 30 PB loss comes back is he going to be ready with the core I I is Trent Williams going to save off injury is CMC going to save off injury is auk going to stay off injury is Debo going to stay off injury there's so many concerns here with a a group of older players with all the hold outs and everything it'll be a miracle and if any team can do it it's the ners because they do have some damn good good luck that's for sure but boy if you're a Niner fan you got to be happy today because it all came together it all came together in the 11th hour and and the ners are it's almost like it's almost like a a a a wedding where the groom has been it's like a what's hangover the groom has been out partying making all these bad decisions everybody's getting ready for for the wedding nobody knows any different and the groom just strolls in in the last minute with his his his his tuck on he's got the barely has the ring he he shows up he gets married no one's the wiser that's the way this feels the Niners are just sliding in at the last second and I I just don't know if it's going to work fully we'll find out but that's how it him on the field he doesn't want him trying to like just be Petty with the amount like hey I want to make one penny more not get on the field not get the contract like if this is like within reason the difference between the two sides that the Bengals are trying to do their best and they're giving him an offer that just in principle doesn't get more than JJ but it's like right there JJ's trying to say don't let that keep you off the field don't let that keep you for becoming a great player this year and don't let it tarnish your legacy if you don't play you end up getting hurt because of it five other teams or whatever so some of you 20 30% still have one draft left you still drafted in three or four others so the advice applies both ways if you have him don't panic don't trade him why why would you no one's buying him at the price you paid and no one's buying him at the cost that they should buy him at If tomorrow he signs or tonight he signs a new deal and he's back for week one might be a little winded might not be his full self but he's back he could have 60 yards in a touchdown 80 yards in a touchdown still in any condition cuz he's Jamar Chase then you why so don't sell him you hold him if you haven't drafted yet and you're in that 20% that has one draft left don't draft him trade for him or or or just if he falls to round two draft him like it depends where the Panic is I'm going to say don't draft him anywhere near his old territory but if he goes in the second round you smash so it it just depends second round smash first round avoid why is he going avoid in the first round well cuz Gibbs is there because you can get Hall bejan Gibbs Alman Ross St Brown AJ Brown they're just safer you know injury risk is going to be a part of his season because he's held out so there's a lot of reasons why first round is maybe not the safest for Jamar Chase no matter really what happens even if he signs tonight he becomes probably probably returns to like 8 9 10 11 12 but with some concern but we probably still would move him there to be completely honest you'd have to but I could see a lot of people still saying give me St Brown still I don't think he's going to get hurt because I fear I fear he's going to get hurt now if you have already drafted and you did not take Jamar chase the Peter the Panic Peter the the overreacting Oscar the upset hunger has dropped their expectation of return in a trade at least a little little bit you could go get this guy because he is in the Panic chamber and even I'm closing the door on him you are in the Panic chamber it is what it is but I'm buying players in the Panic chamber all day long I'm buying Jamar Chase if we we just saw Trent Williams get his deal we got saw we saw Debo get extended we saw Christian mcaffrey get his deal we got cidi lamb getting his deal the deals always really get done now the Bengals are really cheap we hear right every year and jamar's asking for a penny more than JJ
