short turnaround there is a chance the team leans on right at least in in one of these cases so if it's mostard that sits right goes in if aan sits right goes in if both of them sits if both of them sit right goes in and explodes we are talking about living at the edge of a jayen right world you can either be on on board or not on board that's up to you but if you own hn or you own mostard you number two but if he does sit for whatever reason we know that the jayen Wright season is going to be coming to fruition and everybody that sat on their hands and said ah you know I don't know if I should draft all three of them Smitty or I don't know if I should draft right with my mustard or right with my hn and you let someone snipe you I can't help you there unless he's on your waiver wire and for some reason he's available in an uncomfortable amount of league so much so that I'm consistently referencing the waiver wire board constantly telling people why is this man sitting on waivers Ford as well Mason as well Dobbins as well Dobbins is the one player that that I've admitted coming out of week one you could say Smitty you miscalculated the doin situation for now I can admit admit that that's correct I can admit that for now I think he gets hurt so I trade him I sell him high but I admit that the value is there and I didn't know what the value was going to be so that one needs to be added but these other these other guys sharan a needs to be added to we you know Walker for for everything we're reading and hearing right now Walker seems to be okay but Walker needs to be added no shanet needs to be added uh justice Hill was the first game of the week that that Ravens game everybody thought that would be the top pickup of the week look at him buried down you know five six running backs on the board Chase Brown's going to get cut like wildfire so make sure you grab him he might be one of those those players that and I tell you this every week when the waivers get processed right people have a habit of not looking at the drop players one of the most intriguing ways to build a team especially if you blow all your fablet say on likely this week every single week you should be looking at the drop players list okay the waivers get processed and then you look down the right column of those processed players and you see dropped dropped dropped dropped Chase Brown's going to be in there in in a lot of ways uh people dropped K Kade over and over and over last year coming out of weeks one two three four people Dro Jordan love people Dro Jordan love in weeks two three four five six we came in here every day and we're like Jordan love why is he available pick him up so there will be players that get dropped like Benson um another guy to keep an eye on right now that you almost have to even and raise up here is tank bsby okay getting used quite a bit there's a lot of value there the the Hidden Gem Smitty who's the guy hiding in weeks three or four or five that's going to have the same value as Wright and Mason this week probably Davis Davis has that value and Benson make sure Davis and Benson and and brillan Allen aren't sitting out there and you have this knee-jerk reaction where you say to yourself but but they're not doing it right away smidy what are we doing with Chase Brown are we dropping Chase brown right away because Chase Brown isn't balling out like we thought he could ball out he was never guaranteed to do to do anything specific right right out of the gate okay so if you're dropping Chase Brown you're dropping brillan Allen you're dropping uh uh guys that that have the potential to win leagues like Benson you're dropping those players because they didn't satisfy you in week number one and you're a you're a complaining Caleb you're a petrified Peter you're a worried William you're an upset hunger and you're you're wanting answers right now Smitty why are we not seeing Chase Brown explode to the moon chase Brown why I I can't answer that sometimes I my crystal ball doesn't work exactly like I wanted to sometimes it takes two three four five could take 10 weeks for Chase Brown and if you got to cut him because you got small benches so be it you got to pick up Fields I get it you need likely you need a cut I get it but monitor the hell out of these players if you're a part of the problem of dropping some of these guys they are the potential uh League winners and I can't say enough I can't say enough that if we're preemptively trying to go in the future weeks and this is just helpful information okay doesn't mean you got to use it right this second but if we're looking and and peering into the the the the the future into the crystal ball and you say Smitty please tell me who week three week four week five Jordan Mason is please Smitty tell me who week three week four week five JK Dobbins or Jaylen Wright is I'm telling you this guy Davis this guy Allen this guy Benson they have the potential to be that uh steel potentially gendo is still in the mix somehow some way Christian mcaffry is not out of the woods by any means shanet could be the guy maybe maybe Walker can't stay healthy Chase Brown these are all players you need to look at ad Mitchell is the wide receiver I think people don't understand what in the hell going on type of pickup this week why because he was literally a a a just small play two small plays away two small micro movements away from being the top wide receiver pickup of the Year potentially because he had a 100 yards and two touchdowns left on the field on two Mis qes with Anthony Richardson who is phenomenal he'll continue to be phenomenal but Anthony Richardson and this man didn't connect ad Mitchell on a on initiate full load drop not not yet not yet not full load drop full low Drop on right let's let's go over that in a second but but definitely make sure ad Mitchell is not sitting on your waiver wire uh and you need a wide receiver CU I promise you this guy has so much talent he's bleeding it if you didn't watch the game you have no idea what he almost did if you watch the game you were sitting there cringing going why can't ad Mitchell catch a break he had two touchdowns two Mis qes with ar5 and AD Mitchell the first was kind of on both of them because it was a blitz and then the second one was completely AR five's fault A5 was a monster not trying to knock him he was qb4 this week oh GE uh hold on I got a phone call yeah Ma yeah Ma yeah calm down on ar5 Ma I know nine nine nine completions Ma I know you're upset ma he was qb4 qb4 yes Ma look at the stats sort by points yes QB scoring points there four he's number number four Ma I told you yes ma he's amazing nine yes number four with nine completions is wild I get it okay I get hold on Ma qb4 qb2 qb4 or depending on your scoring little different that is ar5 is three played games three games essentially fully played top four quarterback top two quarterback top four quarterback this guy lives in the top four he's a top four quarterback if he's playing and yes he runs a lot he didn't learn a single thing about sliding or protecting his body that's that's certainly you know in the cards here and if you've got jd5 who I think jd5 is a top four quarterback too right now if you look at your scoring I think so I'm not sure but maybe it feels like it take a little Gander at it jd5 jd5 didn't even do much through the air like he's capable of got a great matchup this week jd5 is going to the mother flipping moon this week he's doing it he's actually already there I've already sent him there preemptively you didn't know it but jd5 lives to the moon no not the moon not the moon not the moon to Saturn to Saturn he's there already making Camp um so yeah fa Fab Fab season in full effect uh make sure Mitchell's not there Whittington with pukan niua out of minimum before games we don't know if it's Demarcus Robinson Whittington or Johnson Johnson was very very strong in this game in week one though so it's really really tough to know which one to go after if I had to guess I'd say Whittington given all the hype that that that there was in the preseason that he's a monster pick him up and and both wide receivers were healthy cup and puka at the time so Whittington had that much buzz but you don't know Demarcus Robinson could be the immediate fill in and be the guy that does a little bit extra in week two and then it's Johnson then it's Whittington and then eventually it's Whittington it's hard to say I don't think the person that produces most in week two will necessarily be the player that does it in week three four and five that's kind of my point but I think Whittington has some of that potential but here's the thing to keep in mind I'm not saying pukan Neu is not good I'm not saying Cooper Cup's not still amazing but this is a a MCV situation and McVey is the best adjusted adapter on planet Earth in many ways this offensive line is kind of in shambles right now thought to be the number one offensive line in football uh Kiren I'm not worried about him cuz McVey is amazing at what he does but this was thought and projected out to be the best run blocking offensive line in the National Football League they're down three guys now and so it it it's a little bit of a concern but the thing about McVey that is so amazing is that he adjusts and adapt he adapts to things like no other the quick passing game situation Cooper cup the reason Cooper cup looks so good is McVey knows how to adjust and adapt Bob and weave and so you're going to see you're going to see a bunch of uh of targets going Cooper Cup's Direction and it's going to continue and you can't really you can't really defend it because Cooper cup lines up all over the field so it's not like you can blank at Cooper cup your schemes and your defensive attention can't be just sent in Cup's Direction on a full-time basis and and have it just play out that way this is McVey so smart at moving this guy around the field uh Cooper cup which uh let me put this up on screen here so you guys know what my my topic is every time I I speak on something let me see let me put this right here okay we're not talking jd5 right now we're talking Cooper cup so let me change that but Cooper cup is is in my opinion a top five wide receiver going forward I'm asked often times hey Smitty would you trade um would you trade Saint Brown for Al or alont raaj St Brown for Cooper cup or would you rather have Cooper Cup and the crazy part about it and I know it doesn't make a lot of sense and I I know there's there's a world where I live and regret what I'm about to say but I don't think I'd trade Cooper cup for anybody but lamb for for Tyreek Hill I I think this is a wide receiver that yeah he could he get hurt yeah that's why I say I could regret it maybe later and Aman raw's right there I'm not saying that it's not splitting hairs but this is a guy that I feel is top five right now and the situation is such that I don't think that changes if he stays healthy McVey with the injuries to the offensive line L and and the injuries to pukaa and and other pieces in this offense cuz they're they're in shambles right now but it isn't necessarily a season long injury for all these players so it's like how do you survive for three or four weeks right here how do you survive for three or four weeks could this guy get fed number one overall wide receiver numbers it's certainly in the cards and Cooper cup is is such a League winner such a league third fourth round fourth round gem we hammered it home all offseason we shoved it down your throat all offseason you win Leagues with Cooper Cup in round four then he climbs into round three on on the regular okay he still dropped in round four in a few of my drafts my grandma leagues right uh miss mid's work League all that these guys fell but but this is one of those situations where even in the top of three we loved it remember when we go over I I haven't looked at this board so I don't even know what it's going to show we haven't pulled this board up since the preseason I think but let's see maybe Cooper Cup's on it it'll prove my my point very very well here we go there he is there he is there he is M potatoes yeah buddy I I swear I had no idea what was going to show here um so where we were concerned about remember when we said what if we went wide receiver and weren't happy at running back at least Cooper cup would be there for us now this approach work worked well too but this is why a lot of the times your boy Smitty came in and I said we need to draft an RB uh right here okay so that way in a worst case scenario we get to round two and we're forcing Cooper cup early and we're saying to ourselves that's a better outcome than going wide receiver we love you know Alan Ross St brown or something and then missing out on the RB so this was this is a league-winning move like this is and I know things still got to play out and I know that that injuries can happen and I get all that but right now coming out of week one Cooper cup is League winning in his third round value even late second round but especially fourth round and I'm I'm damn proud of of that moment here on the channel damn proud let him cook [Music] [Music] sound off if you're a having fun right right Christian mcaffrey okay there's there's there's different pieces of news coming out one report today it was a speculative piece where someone said uh who was it that said it I want to say it was Lombardi or somebody said that uh mcaffrey would have I took mcaffrey would have played if it was a playoff game and that might be the case doesn't mean he wouldn't have reinjured it gotten you know put put put the team in in Jeopardy by going out there and doing putting his body in Jeopardy so I don't think it's necessarily a bad take um I just think that like you know we're looking at a player as I said last night before the news even broke I came out and did a spec piece I came out and did a spec piece and said on the Panic chamber that we had no information I just came right live as soon as they game ended we had nothing I it could have very well gone the other way where uh a report by Shanahan or somebody at the podium saying yeah he's fine for next week total precautionary full Go Christian mcaffrey and and I would have been like damn that Panic chamber episode was all for not but no we came out I came out and we said this guy is a concern he's a concern we don't know where his status is now that Jordan Mason he proved he could ball proved he could ball and do Christian mcaffrey things in that offense not saying he's mcaffrey but he's certainly played like mcaffrey in this situation so mcaffrey you know coming out of this game it was a concern twofold one you know why did the lingering issue Pro come back and and prop back up it had to have reemerged or surfaced again like he was out there and it felt funny because he was he was trending toward playing out of his own mouth like I'm going to play right but he didn't play so some setback happened or something so very concerning very concerning on one level right there alone the second level is now that mcaffry is 28 years old and can't shed some of these injury concerns he ended the season injured he started the season injured so far hasn't played week one's over and Christian mcaffry your number one number two number three overall pick has not played a game yet and so now you have a a situation where you have the injury isn't going away he's 28 years old he has a massive injury history and and this seems to be a lingering issue because he was set in uled and trending to play and now he's not so a setback had to have happened this is all spec last night until it got confirmed today or really after I went live uh Shanahan went to the podium and he was he was asked are you concerned this is a lingering issue he says yeah I'm concerned you know it's coming G it's come and gone come and gone it's been back and forth It's kind of Gone Away gotten better then it's come back that is lingering that is the defin definition of lingering and when you're 28 year old years old with the injury history and mileage to this man's endured the mileage that last time he got the mileage he got last year he was out for two straight Seasons so he got that mileage that put him on the shelf for two years last year and he walks into a a week number two if he does even walk into it where they're like Jordan Mason looks good let's use them both so now you have the the the load management concern mixed with the lingering C injury absolutely he's a panic chamber you are in the Panic chamber absolutely he's in the Panic chamber and the and the doors closed doesn't mean he can't survive it he doesn't mean he can't bust out of the panic chamber on week four or five but he's certainly a panicked Peter uh recommended play or recommended uh player for the the remainder of the Season you know and if we're going to say so so Jordan Mason absolute Marvel and let me give you a little piece of advice if you own Jordan Mason right now and somebody's coming to you I thought I saw something in the chat like someone's offering me Brock Bowers of course they are someone's offering me Chris God one of course they are you hold on to Jordan Mason like he's gold you make someone overpay you make someone overpay if you're going to surrender Jordan Mason don't make it easy on anybody like that is wild to be giving up Jordan Mason for just players that that they're good but not great you hold on to Jordan Mason you hold them over that owner's head you use the Smitty tactic of aggress aggression and you say I'm going to offer you one chance for Jord Mason and if you don't take it I'm never trading him to you the remainder of the season I I'll let him sit on my bench whatever I'm not trading you Jordan Mason to see what they do and and stick by it like until they come to an an offer you can't refuse to go back on your principled stance sure you know if they come back to you say fine here's mhj then you go fine I'll break my word here give them to me but you can literally just use a little bit of Hardball tactic and say look I'm not trading them I'm going to use this as a sign from you that you don't want them I'm going to keep them but you have one shot to have them but if you start moving Mason for pieces and players you may never play you are trying to sell low and you need to take a big fat lap take [Music] a now if we're going to complain a little bit about Jordan Mason's injury history and and concern about it I got to be objective and just say that aan um while it doesn't bother me um because I have Jaylen Wright you know I want to see hn out there there is a little bit of risk that he's injured this week doesn't mean that that uh you know that that I think that he everything I've said about him all offseason goes out the window no I I get that injuries happen too right I'm not sitting here judging Anan and trying to get rid of Anan that would be absolutely Wild that's not the case hn is going to the mother flipping Moon you can look hn hn doubters are so funny like if if mcaffrey had played let's say and was a top like where was aan let me pull up anan's I'm just going to pull up a random league and I'm going to see where hn is sitting here I am in a league sort by leaders go to RBS Hans number three I don't want to hear aan a bust or oh my God Smitty is going to the moon now or not I don't want to see I've already seen some of it I I don't know who's writing it but I see it I see it I'm not going to I'm not going to even look I don't want to know who's jumping off the ship right now because it'll just disappoint me this guy's running back three after week one if Christian mcaffrey went out and produced top three running back numbers and then was going to sit this week we wouldn't be saying I wonder if Christian mcaffry is still good I wonder if he has got League winning potential this guy goes out and scores top three running back numbers in week one and you're still complaining you're still pretending that he's not good you're still saying he's not going to the Moon because he didn't practice two days in a row on a short week maybe he sits a week just to be precautionary I'm not jumping off the HM train you're out of your mind because guess what I have I have a particular SK set of skills that make me a nightmare for your league mates and those skills include knowing how to handcuff when it means something let him cook [Music] SMY anan's going to make me sit again yeah he just produced top three numbers I'll give him a day off if he needs it get out of here with your wild Anan hate it it's it's really weird it's really weird so hn didn't practice moster didn't practice and and jayen Wright if if you own Jaylen Wright like I told you to you're sitting on a gold mine because aan and W have nothing to do with each other when they're both on the field I know people don't understand what that means what what is what is Smitty even saying and I'll explain it to you this offense is special this offense is different this offense is a situation where two running backs can survive this offense and yes Wilson needs to be considered in this as well there is a scenario where this turns into a Wilson starts week two and Wright gets eased in and then they got Wright ready for week three four five or whatever it certainly could be a delayed effect I I no doubt that that is in the cards and if you need a wide receiver we definitely need to put Wilson uh Jr on the waiver wire list and and I don't know where we would slot him I would probably say uh I probably say next to next to Davis and Bucky Irving so I'm going to I'm going to change this to Wilson Jr just because there is that chance there there is a there is a a world where this happens in this in this order where Wilson Jr gets a whole bunch of work this week and then it it transitions over to Wright but make no mistake about it Wright is the speed demon that this team wants in there his first 40 yard D or the first five yards of his 40- yard dash were quicker than any running back in the combine proving that he can hit the hole as as well as anybody in the National Football League and he's a a Workhorse monster between the tackles he will be an absolute gem he will be the mostard 2.0 he will be a rising star in this league he's got phenomenal Dynasty value cuz mostard is 7,000 years old I still like mostard and Wright together I never loved mostard by himself I anytime anybody asked me about mostard it was always moster and right right and moard mostard and right this cuff this two-way cuff right here this this I love the the the trio more than anything but this two-way cuff right here was potentially a running back to secret weapon and it still is it doesn't matter that he's injured and he's not in there yet we're maybe seeing the transition of him going in because he's going out that's the whole plan could there be a week a delay a Purgatory of sorts where where right does get delayed sure that's why Wilson needs to be talked about but this Trio is what's going to win you a league and some people may not see it right now some people may not see the light right now and that's okay and it might not even happen to the degree I'm saying it's going to happen right away but this is a a marathon not a Sprint and and Wright can win you leagues Wright can win you leagues Benson can win you leagues Ray Davis can win you leagues these guys are later later potential home run hits Benson brillan Allen bsby uh uh Jaylen Wright shanet Chase Brown who's going to be cut in droves walking into this week number two watch the drop I'm telling you especially if you blow all your Fab on likely or right this week your goal going forward is to comb through the drop players whenever a player's dropped especially during the waiver processing right when there's seven or eight of them in a row or 10 or 15 a lot of people I I venture to say Do not Gander over at the drop section they don't look at that side of it and so you have an advantage of probably competing with one or two you know garbage sifting owners that are going to look at the drops and so you have a much higher chance of picking up a drop player so you know we'll figure out more tomorrow there's still a chance hm plays to doubt hn at this point just proves that you're trying so hard you got to stop trying so hard it's real obvious you're trying so hard to be right about predicting him his demise he just scored top three running back numbers you have zero case you have zero I don't care if he misses two weeks comes back and balls out you have zero case to suggest that hen isn't a baller that hen isn't a League winner he's he's running back three after one week of football and he got fed a ton and there's a chance they're careful with them but I I I have a sneaky suspicion he plays but there's certainly you know concern of him not practicing and we have to acknowledge that but doesn't mean that we think he's he's not playing you know uh Christian Kirk there's some concern already I think premature but I also share some of it and I'm I'm sitting there looking at penx Jr going I wonder what would happen if he played badly two games in a row I wonder what would happen if this team was 0 and3 even if Kirk started to play fairly well in weeks two and three but they still start off 0 and three or something like that like I kind of Wonder What what will be the the the the pulling the chord moment to say get penx Jr in there so this guy does have an expiration date I think penx Jr should be added in in a lot of leagues where you have depth this is the preemptive monster to grab if you're in superflex and he's out there what's wrong with you I've told you all offseason to grab them in superflex but but Fields is the now guy penx JR could be you know week two week three week four week five week six could be the guy we're talking about go get them full load drop on on penx Jr that's that's probably coming you know at some point I like cousins I do I I think there's still a a shot that he he delivers what he's supposed to but we do know that there's also the shot that he doesn't uh this one right here is is kind of an interesting uh uh situation because the Browns have an awful quarter back and his name is Deshawn Watson and I've said this for how many offseasons in a row now that he's trash and that the Browns have no hope of being the team they're capable of being because their defense is amazing they've got a lot of of great pieces but we're sitting here watching a guy deshun Watson be continuously shoved out onto the field because they have no other option and they're married to his contract his contract is so bad they're going to continue to play him unless they can get out of it and there's a lot of Buzz going on around legal circles right now trying to digest his contract what does it mean he's got a potential civil lawsuit filed accusing him of sexual assault and battery the league is reviewing the complaint and will look into the matter under the personal conduct policy but as of this moment the NFL is not putting him on the exempt list paid and they're pending you know obviously usually the criminal process would play out if there's a criminal situation that arises so right now it's a civil situation civil usually doesn't impact anything until it potentially uh until it potentially becomes a a in you know a closed case or some sort um so we'll have to look into whether the Civil is going to impact anything but it's certainly with the criminal traditionally the NFL does wait for the criminal process you know innocent to proven guilty to play out before they they deem uh punishment even if if someone's if charges are dropped or someone's Presumed Innocent or whatever the NFL still does an investigation after the criminal process plays out and makes a determination so he could get a suspension the thing that the the Browns are looking for right is how do we get out of the remainder of this contract and if if new cases arose to my knowledge based on my memory of covering the deshan Watson thing more than anybody when this was going on my memory if it serves me right any new cases would be subject to a breach of contract and they could take the the contract away and void it and then release them but if any of the cases arose that already were known and those cases continue to like you know rise up or if they were known at the time of the contract at least the cases that were presented as these are known that those could not void the contract no matter what so this contract was crazy the Browns were nuts to sign it and there's a lot of digging into it that's that's being done right now and there is a chance that there in the future and it might not be this year could be next offseason or whatever but the the Browns try and get out of this contract using uh you know an ability to avoid it Josh Allen is is banged up but is his non-throwing hand this guy's a monster he'll play through anything uh but he does run so much there is concern of injury of course every single year he's been practicing with a protective glove on the left hand during practice but everything seems to be good to go here's more on the desun Watson Watson situation um not going to be on the exempt list as of now Raheem moard uh chess did not participate in Tuesday's practice as I mentioned already Ferguson with the mcl's considering uh playing week two so his MCL uh situation isn't as bad as as as let's say you know Jordan loves um Jordan Mason Jordan Mason what what a what a monster 147 yards and a touchdown in the game last night proving that the ners can suffice with without Christian mcaffrey for a couple weeks if they need to so I think there's a real strong shot that the that the team potentially sits mcaffrey for at least one more week because from the the mouth of K Shanahan this has been a lingering issue that's come and gone uh resurfaced and they're they're worried about the the hamstring um or the they sorry they're with Christian mcaffrey uh we got we got a whole bunch of injur injury pieces on here Christian mcaffrey is the Cav and we're extremely worried about it lingering um as far as as far as these other what was I going to say about a hamstring was I where was I going with this I don't know my mind my mind is mush right now all right let's hit these uh super chats that are
