that we're just letting you know where we stand here uh the Rams will be placing pukaa on IR with a PCL injury and he's out of minimum of four games on IR but I I will say he's probably out a lot longer than that here's the knee in the middle of the knee which you can see on the back of the model the the ACL and PCL are not in the back of the knee but the model shows it that way uh this is your your ACL and your PCL that cross each other and they're designed to keep the knee one from going off of the the shelf so to speak right to go off and buckle and the other one's designed to do the other direction so it keeps the knee joint tight uh tearing your PCL is a little different than tearing your ACL but in the same sort of uh way they hold the knee together tight and he has a PCL injury not a complete tear he's obviously going to get further testing on it get some looks at it and maybe this thing progressively gets worse not the injury but the the news of it the uh the expectation of what's going to happen there's still a lot to to come down uh newswise on this but it it still could be a 4-we 5we situation um this is unfortunate but this is kind of expected and you could say Smitty you can't predict we we do and we we do all the time and the problem with PUK Anda as we stated all off season long on this channel he's the most aggressive player when it comes to trading his body in the NFL he's the most aggressive player to his own health his own body and I admire I admire him for for this uh this quality and characteristic but he's putting his body in situation locked down so I would say that you know that that's I I wish I could give you some solutions but you should have had Mason if you have Mason and mcaffrey you're pretty you're pretty decent in a way because you just throw Mason right in there it's a shame if you had some sort of option on Sunday mcaffrey kept saying he'd play I didn't really think he he would necessarily be as as big of a lock as he was suggesting just like Higgins say he says he was going to play and Higgins was not a lock at all obviously cuz he didn't play this just feel it feels like we're being misled by these play players I feel like players are not telling us how injured they are and in a guy like Christian mcaffrey made everybody think he was going to play and now he's not going to play now he could maybe say hey the team decided to do this I wanted to play but why do you think the team's doing that because they want to make sure this Cav inry that's not going away that could be a a beginning stages of some sort of Achilles injury because it is designated a Cav Achilles meaning that here's the the knee here's the top part of the calave it goes down into the calave where the calave kind of meets the Achilles and when you have soreness there and you can't really distinguish if it's calav or Achilles or half Cav half Achilles you can designate it an Achilles Cav injury and that usually can be a precursor to a potential Achilles tear as in in the case of Aaron Rogers who was wearing a sleeve if you remember back before he tore his Achilles Last year he had a sleeve we kept worrying about the cry Joe burrow had a C injury they were really worried about that always a concern if it's a upper C injury like I believe Joe Burrows was there's less of an Achilles risk if it's a lower Cav injury that is where the calav meets the Achilles so there's tremendous risk especially when you're 28 years old and you have a huge injury history like Christian mcaffrey and the last time Christian mcaffrey was fed the amount of work he was fed last year he missed two seasons back in Carolina and now he's starting off the year he ended the year injured because I had him and I had about $30,000 on the line on an underdog uh uh big board draft where I had Christian mcaffrey and Alvin chimra and I was fighting for first place and I was bouncing around at one point I showed the screenshot I was winning 30k at the moment Christian mcaffrey Alvin CRA both sat out the second half in week 17 and I and I and I plummeted down to about I got, 1500 in that draft but I plummeted down to $1,500 from $30,000 you might say Smitty this sounds like a biased take you're just been out of shape because mcaffrey burned you you're damn right I'm upset about mcaffrey burning me you're damn happen here we're watching One Top Dog rise in Cooper cup we're watching another one potentially fall maybe he's electric and Elite every game he plays maybe he comes back in week two and this is a very very very very uh precautionary move a tough matchup they want to make sure he's good for the rest of the season and maybe he balls out from week two until week 17 very possible but there's a lot of risk here a lot of risk here so if you have got Mason put him in your lineup this is awful news this hits hard for a lot of people that have Christian mcaffrey tonight this hits hard for people league and the Browns it's possible that Watson could be subject to further scrutiny under the personal conduct policy it's also possible that a suspension if one is imposed could give the Browns a path toward voiding the remaining salary guarantees at uh and ending the relationship making him a cut candidate this guy the the the Browns want nothing more at this point than to get their money as much money back as they can and to move on DeShawn Watson a very strong release candidate voided contract candidate if the NFL does take action now keep in mind the NFL often times will wait until the legal process plays itself out but there are situations where they'll put a player on the commissioner exemplis paid there are extenuating circumstances that might have them ACT earlier especially in a sexual assault case where there might be enough evidence that the NFL deems to be jury and executioner in terms of what they're going to do uh for for the organization it's very possible that this this situation unfolds differently than another situation where the NFL is usually by process going to wait until the legal legal thing takes its course but this is crazy this is crazy I don't know what in the hell uh to think with this um I I we talk about this we've talked about this so much before I think we had a a two almost a 2,000 viewers in one moment and about 1500 viewers the entirety
