THAT'S NOT THE CASE. THIS WEEKEND. THINGS ARE REALLY SHAPING UP FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. YOU WANT TO BE OUTDOORS MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY, ACTUALLY RAIN FREE CONDITIONS. AND I KNOW WE'RE STARTING TO NEED SOME RAINFALL, BUT IF WE CAN'T GET THE RAIN, WE'LL HAVE THE COMFORTABLE AIR UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S THROUGH WEDNESDAY. OUR NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN IS NOT A GREAT CHANCE, BUT IT DEFINITELY IS. THERE JUST IN TIME FOR THE CHIEFS GAME. BUT THE 20% CHANCE IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE, AND THAT'S GOING TO CARRY INTO LATE THURSDAY NIGHT. BUT THEN NEXT WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE COOLER THAN IT IS. THIS WEEKEND. AS WE TALK ABOUT MORNING LOWS IN THE 50S AND HIGHS IN THE LOW TO MID 70S AT MOST. RIGHT NOW, THOUGH, WE'RE AT 80 DEGREES IN DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY. OUR DEW POINT AT 54, RELATIVE HUMIDITY AT 41%, WIND SPEEDS ABOUT 13 MILES AN HOUR. AND IT FEELS LIKE 81. SO REALLY NOT THAT MUCH OF A FACTOR WITH THE HUMIDITY LEVELS BEING SO LOW WHEN YOU COMPARE OUR NUMBERS, WE LOOK PRETTY GOOD. I MEAN, 80 DEGREES HERE IN GRAND ISLAND 77. SOME OF THAT COOLER AIR UP NORTH IS GOING TO IMPACT US. THE NEXT FEW DAYS. IN FACT, YOU'LL SEE DAYTIME HIGHS ONLY IN THE 70S. RAINFALL CLOSE AS RAINFALL IS DOWN OVER LITTLE ROCK INTO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY. BUT ONCE YOU GET TO MISSOURI AND KANSAS NORTHWARD AND WESTWARD, IT IS RAIN FREE. SO A NICE LITTLE DRY SETUP FOR THE NEXT THREE DAYS. LET'S TALK ABOUT THE NINE DAY FORECAST AND TAKE IT STEP BY STEP. FIRST OF ALL, FOR YOUR LABOR DAY, YOU'LL START OUT ABOUT 54 DEGREES IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. THEN BY AFTERNOON WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE, THE HIGH ABOUT 77 DEGREES WIND SPEEDS ABOUT 5 TO 10 MILES AN HOUR FOR A VERY COMFORTABLE DIRECTION THAT EAST NORTHEAST DIRECTION. TUESDAY, LOOKING FAIRLY GOOD AT 79 WITH A MORNING START ABOUT 55 AND SOME OF YOU TO THE NORTHEAST LIKE TRENTON, YOUR HIGH WILL BE ABOUT 77.
