1st Quarter and we are underway from NRG Stadium in [Applause] Houston pushing his way through and they'll start this drive just across the 30 pretty nice work on the return so here are the Bears now for their opening drive they'll be led out by their rookie quarterback the latest in a long line of NFL QBs from USC we're seeing it more and more in this league how teams love to have athletes back there taking the snaps guys who can throw it and move around and get yardage with their legs if needed he's one of the best examples that we see out there right now he can throw for hundreds of yards one week and then run for 100 plus the next he adds an extra Dimension that really confounds defenses when he puts it all together they'll start this drive out on the ground and they get him down but not before he takes it across the 40 yd line just like that it's a gain of 12 and a first down on their first play so much for staying ahead of the chains with a three or four yd gain on first down they move the chains with a nice little run yeah they're making the Chain Gang hustle a little bit to try and keep up aren't they because a lot of the first series of games are scripted many times to probe and find some holes in the defense sometimes you attack with some big time runs too and he is going to be stopped cold behind the line of scrimmage officially it's a one- yd loss that's going to bring up second and 11 the best thing that ever happened to Mario Edwards Jr in my estimation was moving from defensive end into defensive tackle why is that I think he had such good size but his quickness now is overwhelming when he works inside against guards and centers that allows him to make plays as one we just saw there getting into the back field and getting a tackle for the loss this is Homer and taking it across Midfield and inside the 45 first down for the Bears a gain of 15 for a lot of guys playing this game there's no better feeling than running right through a tackle he's able to lower his Center gravity and turn his legs for a really really nice pick up so a first and 10 now in Houston territory at the 44 yd [Applause] line Swift going to try up the middle and he'll manage to pick up about four it's second down and that was a quality play to start a new set of downs that was simply an offensive line winning the battle up front and winning in a big way and giving their guy in the backfield a nice Lane to hit second and six off the play fake it's Williams under pressure and the Texans able to get in there for the sack multiple players combined for their team's first sack of the game and that's a hecktic a moment for your first sack of the game because if this long drive ends without a touchdown because of that sack we're going to look back and say that might be one of the biggest plays of this contest so here's a third and 14 they'll go play action here with Williams and that will be incomplete well when you're going up against a talented receiver like that you just know that they're going to bring more people to him right they're going to double cover him every chance they get I think that that is what we're going to see all game long an early taste of that double maybe even sometimes triple coverage we might see yeah I think what they're counting on his talent to sometimes beat that double coverage on fourth down the punt team is on as this is sent away and they won't risk defending a return here that one's out of bounds and it'll be spotted spotted at the 14 yd line so here are the Texans now with a long field ahead and they will be L out by their seconde quarterback and there's a word that constantly gets thrown around with this guy when you talk to anyone in the building potential they are Skyhigh on what they believe he can grow into in the role of a starting quarterback in addition there are plenty around the league who think that as well and years from now he can still be leading this offense out on the ground this is Joe Mixon fighting him off and he finds enough of an opening to get this one back up to his 20 seven yds on the pickup there and it'll leave him with a second and three a nice run here early on it doesn't take a great play call to realize you want to establish a guy of his caliber with runs like this early because they will pay dividends as the game for resses from the 20 here's second and three stad working out of the gun eight yds that time able to take off and the result is a first down as he gave to the line of scrimmage he knew he didn't need much to reset the chain so when he saw the space he needed no hesitation he went to the marker and got his guys a first down [Applause] inside hand off to Mixon and he fumbled it it's on the ground but fortunately he's able to recover his own fumble and that could have been trouble all I can say about this play is that someone's living right I mean he's trying to gain yardage trying to get up field ball comes free what's that Panic that we've talked about often times that you feel when you lose the ball you can sense it oh you can sense it and somehow he got to it and was able to recover it for his Squad now the change things up stra will throw it and that nearly an interception here on this opening drive but he gets a reprieve it's third down oh man that was close the opportunity to change momentum big play right in his hands unable to come down with it a sigh of relief no doubt on offense that that fell harmlessly to the ground stad looking to throw and that's going to be too high out of bounds and incomplete one first down here and That's all folks good work by this defense to hold things in check and force a punting situation the Texans send the punter out as he's on to punt for the first time tonight [Applause] and he was looking for the checkup bounce didn't get it that scoots all the way into the end zone now for a Touchback Chicago Works their way back onto the field here for their second Drive of the game a last series for a little disappointing forced a punt and now they'll try to do better here and Come Away with some points as they begin this drive first and 10 they'll start on the ground here on first down and he is met in his tracks behind the line of scrimmage he'll lose a yard there and it's second and 11 I think sometimes when you're try to get after the quarterback maybe it's better to be lucky than great because I think on that one he's just trying to get up field and rush to passer Instead The Tackle for the loss landed right in his lap they'll run this with Homer and he'll be coralled right around the 34 first down for the Bears a gain of 15 his first Carry of their second Drive pretty solid and of course remember back to their first drive really strong throughout that one not only is he getting good blocking up front but how about his vision to find the holes and he's seeing things before they even open and hurdling through them to the air Williams a hit as he throws there incomplete though he's seen some good pressure defensively already here in the first quarter here's another good example here's second and 10 off the option he'll try and run with it able to power through and he's across the 403 extra yards to the 43 he'll get nine yds on the keeper there but it's still going to leave him with a third and one oh man that wasn't far from breaking in a big way into the secondary read option quarterback kept it and while he didn't get a first down he did get a nice chunk of yardage only a nice tackle prevented it from maybe going all the way work in the middle of the field and he's got a man complete and he will have the Bears first down as they're able to get the third down conversion and the throw and the catch were just fine but against Zone coverage when you run a drag route what you're hoping for is he makes the catch and makes someone Miss and they don't there very difficult route to run when everyone has their eyes back towards the quarterback and they're able to see the route develop they will run straight ahead with Swift and he's going to be met at the line of scrimmage and taken down defensively Jimmy Ward in on the stop defense able to get there swarm to the football zil zero notada there for the offense Charles yeah it really was an example of good team defense wasn't everyone handled their responsibilities and they held him to No Gain working out of the gun Williams got his man complete over the middle that's Moore and he's going to be taken down with another first down as the stops made at the Texans 32 yd line a good gain of 14 there and it moves the chains and that play came together really well for them as he found open space makes the catch and gets down to the one yd line you know he's kicking himself right now he thought he had a chance to get a touchdown and put that in his Ledger instead his team gets a chance to cash in over his next few plays they their backs up against the wall a little bit and they come through by forcing an incompletion now they've got to continue to ratchet up the intensity a couple of more times and get off the field before giving up any more yardage second and 10 back to the running game with Swift and he'll get this down to about the 30 31 yd line they do get a couple but they'll be left staring at a third and eight coming up pretty good little two-play sequence there you force the incompletion than a very short pickup yeah now maybe you bring in an extra defensive back or two because you want to try and defend on third down they like to play those nickel sub packages don't they throwing is Williams nowhere to turn here and he's going to go down back at about the 37 yd line Jerry Hughes too strong as he's in for the sack well how about that a dime set on defense six defensive backs none of them Blitz they're just back there in coverage defensive lineman gets the sack that's where the o line they go to the sideline they keep the their helmets on so the cameras can't find him right yeah the cameras can't find them but I know one thing the old line coach will so now on comes the field goal unit and wow this is no ordinary try here this from 54 yds away Santos kick is up and through and it's three nothing the Bears hit the scoreboard first well both teams kind of feeling each other out here and now after three drives we have a score with that field goal yeah they're still waiting for their breakout drive to come to them all right they're using using the Playbook well they're looking for that extra section that says touchdowns instead of field goals but they'll take the three for now and try and get set up for more later after the made field goal Santos back out there to kick it away and he'll take it up past the 25 to the 26 yd line so now we get set to see Houston for their second Drive of the ball game over on the sideline hoping to hit that reset button between possessions last time out they had to punt it away this time hoping to finish this thing off of the end zone [Applause] now St this goes out wide from Mixon and they nearly get this all the way to Midfield Mark him down at the 49 good work after the catch going to net him 23 and a first yeah that's a nice pick up there especially when it comes on the heels of a three and out the first time you have the ball they were determined to not have that happen again and that's a nice throw for their first first down of the game it's Mixon on the counter and he's got it across Midfield and into bear territory give him a couple on the carry there second and eight oh that's a real nice job there by the defensive front they just engaged and held their ground but how about the guy who made the play we often talk about whether they take a good first step or not many times you just don't take any step just get your feet moving get your body body going and then once he made the read he was able to make the play back to Mixon on second down and down to the 44 five yds that [Applause] time they'll come up now on a second and long after the [Applause] hold here's Stout he's got it complete to Stefan Diggs and he's going to have another first down as the tackle made here at the Bears 41 yd line Texans passing game in Rhythm right now picking up another first so into bear territory now this is first and 10 at the [Music] 41 throwing now is St he's got his man it's the tight end brev Jordan and this will leave him a yard short nice pickup of nine yds on first down that tight end position it just seems to continue to evolve every year in the NFL yeah you're getting really terrific athletes a lot of them maybe were wide receivers at one point that continue to give you speed great hands and big bodies which make them excellent targets for quarterbacks this ball tipped and it's going to be incomplete fortunate maybe to get that back it's third down so much of this game is about leverage we always talk about low man wins in the trenches well it's like that in just about every position and sometimes if you lose that leverage and you're losing the battle just jump up at the line of scrimmage and try and bat the ball away and that's exactly what happened there they give to Mixon to try to pick it up and he picks up the first before he's taken down at the 29 three yds there good enough to keep the drive moving the first drive this unit had they punted this drive much more polished just looking CIS or aren't they moving the ball maybe the first drive was a little bit of a wakeup call probably a little bit angry that they had to punt the ball away the first time they had it got motivated got to the sideline said okay let's not let that happen here as we take over again and he'll get this one down to about the 27 just a yard on the pickup there and it'll bring up a second and nine yeah things were pretty stacked up there in the middle of the line a lot of bodies not much space I think ultimately he was fortunate to get anything out of that run still nine yds to go on second down from the 27 St off the play fake short throw into the hands of Jordan give him a gain of five on the completion and now we've got a third and four so much goes into a successful play doesn't it how about that play action there freezing the defense just enough spring the tight end free downfield for the completion three nothing after one on EA Sports ready for the second quarter from Houston it's the Texans in possession of the football this will be play number nine of the drive here as they need four yards on third down 2nd quarter stoud he's got his Target that's complete and he is going to have a Texans first down as they're able to get the third down conversion how about a not to the sequence of plays they're putting together here this has been death by a thousand paper cuts on this drive but this is one of their best plays yet and they're able to move it down into the red zone now a first and 10 at the 11 now contact up front as penalty markers come in who is this against and a neutral zone infraction on the defense the defense thought they had the timing count on the quarterback's cadens but they jumped too soon they will come up on a first and five following the encroachment penalty they go back to the ground now with Mixon and he is going to be stopped cold behind the line of scrimmage that's going to go as a loss of one on first down I have a feeling they'll stay committed to running the football especially on their early Downs they just haven't had a whole lot of success just yet second and six with a ball on the seven back to throw St to Mixon on the check down and he is going to lose yardage here now they're going to be dealing with a third and seven as that one officially a loss of one heck of a play there to get to him quickly and get him down for a loss I think they did a really nice job getting ready for this game scouting watching film and understanding defensively what the play design was on third down he'll drop to throw this is caught oh this is going to depend on the spot but it's not a very generous one he looks to be about a yard or so short it'll go down as a gain of six and that'll bring up fourth down I thought maybe when he caught he'd have a good chance of getting that first down but that's a nice job holding him up and preventing him from getting to the sticks Fair bear able to put this one through so three points on the board as easy a field goal as you're going to get but I can see you shaking your head I love that peripheral vision of yours partner because to me if it's the fourth quarter and you're up six I get it but now even if you run and don't get in you're still setting them up to go a long field 98 99 yd Drive how do you look at your defense and not give them that opportunity field goal is all we've had so far 33 now as the kick is away the lane opens here he's past the 30 and that's pretty good coverage by the kick team as he'll only be able to get this past the 15 yd line and no further the Bears offense now heading back out onto the field and last time able to get three it's not what they wanted they wanted six but they got at least some they mustered something out of the drive they'll take it just I I like the way you've described it not ideal but they'll take it anything to put some points on the board but this time on offense they don't even want to see the field goal kicker try on the field they want that ball in the end zone they'll be going for six first down yardage on the first play of the drive give him 14 Charles to move the chains that time they had to completed into double coverage and they got it done and it's never easy overcoming multiple Defenders but he sure made it looks simple found the right spot to exploit and won his one on two matchup on First and 10 it's Swift and he's going to get a solid gain of nine before being brought down second and right at a yard they're backed up here with a first and 20 now after the holding penalty from the gun here's Swift it's a gain of three and it'll be second down well obviously they would have at least liked to have gotten back to the original line of scrimmage instead now they're dealing with second and long I thought they would have passed it after the penalty probably wish they would have now from the shotgun a throw for Williams he finds his man complete that's Carter it's a pick up of 12 and that'll set up a third down bney sold the go route really well thought he was going deep then curled it back inside for a nice completion ste's love when they pump the braks don't they yeah that's really that's really a whole lot of fun it's almost like you say listen if you're going to sell the go just go let's see who's faster they'll fake the give now Williams That's to the right sideline and it falls incomplete did a fine job there of not hitting him before the ball arrived and I've got to tell you you can often mtime that play because of the angles of approach when you're going to get him sometimes you panic as well and think I've got to be there right now instead in this case timed it perfectly and knocked it free and on fourth down on is the punt team sending this one away out of bounds and close the question was it a Touchback no they'll say it crossed out at the 2yd line the Texans is getting set here to take over again on offense their Drive last time it's stalled out they were forced to take the short field goal and the key phrase you nailed it forced to because you know coaches look at these short field goals as a last resort right to them that's not how drives are supposed to end you're supposed to put six on the board that's a consolation prize like going to the county fair you don't get to big stuffed animal on that one do you no you don't go top shelf that's bottom shelf material oh look at the and they'll get him down up past the 15 yd line they were looking for a little spark in some breathing room they got it right there a gain of 14 and a first down well so much for being backed up against their goal line to start the drive he gave some breathing room and then some I think the defense really got caught thinking safety trying to stack the line of scrimmage and often times if you can get past the initial grouping there's a lot of room to run the defense actually fortunate that didn't go farther he throws it on the move but can't connect as as that falls incomplete I think he's got to be careful not to force anything into coverage right there there weren't really any throwing Lanes but the best part for him he's got second and third down to fall back on so now second and 10 after the incompletion on first down a hand off to Mixon he'll Rumble for about six up across the 20 to the 22 I really like the vision he displayed on that play because he saw there wasn't a lane to completely break off a huge gain so he found where there was the most space and got what he could a nice dirty run that's a positive play for the offense the Texans on third down they've hit two for four thus far this is third and four no one there to help out downfield but no problem scrambling for 22 and a first on third down he obviously wants to throw the football but there's nowhere to go with it so he takes off and goes and now that as he get to the first down marker he blows right past it and picks up Big yardage partner that's a great bit of [Applause] improvisation this offense finding its legs now here's another first and 10 and now whistles and a flag and I think we got a jump here and the hard count got the defense there encroachment and the 5yd penalty so a first and five now after the 5yd penalty from the neutral zone infraction out of the shotgun they run with Mixon and he'll take it down shy of the 45 at the 46 they get five and it will go ahead and move the chains that's a nice run right there able to get to the outside and so many times defenses say okay we've got you hemmed in but if you're running the football at least you know where everyone is coming from you don't have to worry about the backside at all that allows you to run with a little bit more confidence as you Traverse down the field Mixon with a first down carry traine Edmonds there to bring him down that felt like a trap because it looked to me like the opposing front was on that play from the GetGo they had everyone crashing the ball carry before he even made the line and they hold him to just a yard ball spotted at the 45 here's a second and nine St out of the gun here there's Stefan Diggs for the catch on the slant and he's going to have another first down as the tackle made here at the bears' 27 yd line a big one there for the Texans 18 yds and that's a more than acceptable read right there because his Zone coverage so timing is everything this time he waits for his man to come open puts it right on him and they pick up a first down back to throw here's St a short one going to be taken in here by Schulz and he's tackled a yard short of the marker good gain of nine on first [Applause] down second down and a little more a yard here stad to throw it open man is Jordan the tight end so that'll be no better than an incompletion and that'll bring up what looks to be a third and inches can't be more than a half a foot as a defense you're more balanced when you're in zone coverage because you're able to keep your eyes on the quarterback and see the play develop in front of you they're able to keep the Quick Pass in front of them and stop it right at the line of scrimmage on third down Mixon just a gain of a couple but good enough to keep the drive rolling brand what were they thinking on defense there that looked like they were playn for the pass that was third and short yeah was an easy pickup because they handed it to him that was way too easy just looked like an absolute confusion defensively not sure why they were in that set yeah I'd say you ought to have a few men in the box there a shotgun snap to Stout a quick throw but incomplete down here in the Red Zone you know your tight end's going to be a favorite Target couldn't hang on and sometimes they just have to get out of their own head because they understand how tight windows are there and how many bodies are there and sometimes they just overthink it and don't catch the ball now a second and 10 and St now to throw throwing the out route incomplete it's Collins and he is out of bounds getting it down to the 10 five yds now it's third and [Applause] five looking to throw St that is caught and the are going to have first and goal as they try to finish off this drive with six points but we used to see him the guy that you consider the number one receiver double covered but how about this guy he's double covered and finds a way to make the play for a first down that's how you increase your Madden rating right no doubt about that at all and you know something I think we'll hear about that from him soon Mixon going to be hit and met at the line of scrimmage they get him down at the three they'll say no game on the play and it'll be second and goal he's already fumbled once in this game and I thought the ball started to jostle there a little bit but they got to him quickly at the line of scrimmage it sure did and remember if you're not a very confident Runner and you've already dropped it once if there's traffic around you the only thing you think about is protecting the football and he'll take this into the end zone now hold on here we do have a flag down so let's see what this is about Titus Howard right tackle to man flag for that [Applause] one a crucial penalty there as the hold backs him up for another second and goal out of the gun they'll look to throw quick hitter here it's complete only able to pick up two and that leads us to Third and goal that was an okay hook up there with his tight end but unfortunately they didn't get the kind of yards they had hoped for that's going to bring up third [Applause] down second quarter two minutes to go tie ball game they've been denied touchdowns in the Red Zone twice already Here Comes third and goal back to throw St and he's in touchdown Houston CJ Str taking it in from 11 yards out and the Texans go nearly the length of the field and finish it off with six points well they were backed up on Third and goal and when you saw him star to scramble my thought process was he'll get what he can and maybe get out of bound BS but he got a little bit greedy there and in this case greed was good as he got into the end zone cim Fabe on for the extra point and it is up and it's good that'll make our score 10 to three now and what a drive that was 16 plays all told and it was CJ strad who finished off that drive with a touchdown [Applause] run so after the touchdown here's Fair bear now to kick it away and able to take it past the 25 and up to the 28 yd line and now the Bears coming out as they get ready it's been very much a slow start for them three drives and just the three points CD yeah if you're into the points per Drive ratio that answer is one and that's not going to get it done in a ball game they've got to find a way to finish these drives in end zones not having balls go through goal posts off the play fake it's Williams looks for the out roundout and it's complete to KD and he'll have it pass Midfield almost to the 40 before being taken down so apparently some grabbing there in the middle of the o line I've often wondered why that doesn't happen more often for guys that play center having to snap the ball and then trying to get your hands into the proper position that's difficult to do he got caught that time looking to throw as Williams he'll get that complete to his tight end Cole K and he's going to be taken down with a marker on the field so let's see about the call umpire through the flag usually always indicates holding and that's what we've got and you know depending on their positioning where you are on the field the umpires got different responsibilities but always always making sure no one's holding they'll go playaction here Williams toward the right sideline but it's incomplete I have a few questions about that throw because to me there just wasn't a lot there I thought he tried to do a little bit too much almost tried to will a receiver open when there was no chance he was going to be nice job by the linebacker being all over that one and knocking it away from the gun here's Williams he'll get this off the wh now the Texans will burn the first of their timeouts as they'll head to the sideline and talk over what to do next and the Texans have an extra defender in the secondary now on third down here's a hand off to Swift and he will be a couple yards shy of the 20 at the 18 now the Texans will use one of their two remaining timeouts as they'll head to the sideline and talk over what to do next here comes the Bears punter now as the drive goes backwards so he's on to putt it away he's been a busy man here in this first half as he gets it away fair catch signal for and taken just shy of the 30yd line so possession goes over here on the punt and the Texans will take over with a first and 10 and now out comes Houston it was still more than a minute to go in the half time to try to mount a drive and I would think that they would have to this is today's NFL you got to push it whenever you get an opportunity you can never have enough points with the high-powered offenses that you face and analytics will tell you you try and score when given the opportunity St looking to throw that one complete it's tank Dale and he's out of bounds able to take this one up to the [Applause] 35 ball on the 35 Here Comes second and five playaction here St Crow catch is made it's Schulz on the out rout and he'll be out of bounds up near the 45 at the 44 nine yds the pickup there and it's a first down impressive catch there by Schultz and he's comeing up a strong campaign that saw produce over 600 yards in his first season with the Texans he's more than a reliable Target he's a team leader on the offensive side of the ball a quick throw going to be caught by dibs and he'll be taken down AC L the 50 at the 45 an enemy territory that's good for a Texan first down a 12yd pickup you can see the time and effort and thought that they put into their passing game because it was evident right there it looks like a simple pitch and catch but you and I both know that they have planned for this and worked hard to make it happen escaping the pressure right and he gets it inside the 35 and just shy of the 30 a Nifty bit of scrambling there 12 yds first down no shortage of impressive moments from him thus far now he's halfway to the centry mark and we're still in the first half there's been no answer for his running ability so far by the defense I can't wait to see what adjustments they'll have to make during the halftime break here's Stout he finds his Target it's Schulz now a signal in the timeout call as it comes with nine seconds to go in this first half of [Applause] play so even though it's first down here's the field goal unit on now to try to get through before halftime this just a 35 yd attempt from the left hasch the kick by Fair Baron is good and they will stretch their lead to 10 now at 133 so no problems at all on that one and you know there's virtually no win this is a kicker's dream here tonight it absolutely is isn't it so to me with no wind it should be a passers dream as well right but in this case the defense held out they had to force the field goal so six seconds All That Remains of this first half as the kick is away and that'll carry over the back line of the end zone for a Touchback the Bears offense ready to go for their next drive and only six seconds on the clock so time likely for just one play Williams a final shot before break and now they're going to be off Target and incomplete out of the rookie quarterback out there you're definitely going to find out how he handles adversity because this one so far hasn't gone according to plan he's got to fight through it and show him what made of and unless this is a quick incompletion this is likely the last play here of this first half a final shot before break Williams this will be caught downfield by Mo and he's able to get this to the 40 yd line before he's out of bounds so we reach half time here in a 10-point game as we send you on over to Orlando for Jonathan Coachman and our EA Sports halime report take it away Coach it was a terrific first half from the former offensive Rookie of the Year CJ stad he's got the lone touchdown of the game on a touchdown run we'll see if he can get it going through the air as this one goes on all right coach thank you and we welcome everyone back for quarter number three [Applause] 3rd quarter three it's the Texans in front and they're going to get the football first as we are back underway in the third quarter and they will Wrangle it down a couple yards shy of the 30 the Texans defense and CJ stad getting ready for this next drive and he's been a nightmare to scheme against throughout this one this defense has been totally taken apart and that is borne out in his numbers he's been terrific all game long the Texans offense ready to go here for their next drive and they've got the lead CD what do you expect from them in this second half well I like what they were able to do on the ground in the first half because they had a lot of success running the ball and I certainly think we'll see more of that but I'd keep an eye on that defense and I think their coaches up in the Box will do the exact same thing if they start to see one or two guys start to creep towards the line of scrimmage that'll be licensed to take some shots down field an incomplete pass on first down that leads to a second and 10 now Stout being chased out left and stad wisely slides down safely after picking up the first down 23 yds on the tuck and run partner even I can figure out who deserves a lion share of credit for their lead right now because he has been terrific in a dual threat role really chewing up yardage and getting them points with his legs simply put that defense has had no way of stopping him and that's why his side is on top St and his throw is going to be incomplete as a defensive back you have some weapons at your disposal that we don't often talk about and you can read the receiver's eyes you can read his hands and you know that the arrival of the ball is imminent and that allows you to make a play on it and often times knock it away so they'll come up after the incompletion for second down an option hand off here to Mixon and good space to operate there as he takes this down inside the 35 yd [Applause] line now they face a second and long following the holding penalty throwing now is St pressure and he's taken down a bear sack finally hauled down for the first time this game multiple defenders in there to drop him that time finally a measure of Revenge as they get him down behind the line it almost felt like relief didn't it because with a success he's had throughout this game you'd almost expect him to get free and pick up 10 to 15 every time he takes off not in that case that has to feel good for the defense now on Third and long they'll look to throw and that nearly the pick that they needed he couldn't pull it in though and it's fourth down well it's too early to figure out what kind of adjustments this defense made at halftime but that's a good start to the second half they cannot afford to give up more points and fall further behind so well done to force the punting situation here the Texans send the punter out as he'll kick it away for the second [Applause] time and that hits at the six and Carries into the end zone for a Touchback so here are the Bears now as they get set for their first possession of the second half and Charles they're certainly still right in this game but they need that offense to wake up and in a hurry yeah I like the way you put it they certainly did seem to sleepwalk a bit in the first half now that their defense has done its job it's their turn now to go out and try and get some points they'll start on the ground with Swift and he works his way forward to pick up four yards there second down well at the end of all that hitting and hollering it was a four yd run so the offense is going to go back to help them feel pretty good about themselves defensively you have to feel okay because you didn't let it turn into a bigger run but the goal shut it down for two yards or less that's when you start to feel good about yourselves throwing is Williams he's got the connection to more and he's taken down but able to slip across the 35 14 yds into Chicago first down and that's the kind of play this offense needs to maybe kick them into gear a little bit they've been stuck in neutral much of the game perhaps that can give a little bit of confidence the big plays are out there line of scrimmage the 37 on First and 10 here's Williams trying to fit it into more but it's intercepted Derek Stingley picks it and he's able to get it back here to the 43 yd line well this is something we've seen before partner we've seen a defense bait a rookie pretend to leave a window open and then the defensive back jumped it as soon as the ball was released Big Time play they love taking advantage of the youngsters and in this case it paid off well [Applause] heading out is the Texans offense as they get set to take over here we have not seen much on offense here from either side these last few drives we've hit a wall so to speak and have hit it hard haven't we because the defenses right now they seem to be a step ahead don't they beating them to the point of attack beating them to the punch these offensive guys they're tinkering like crazy what's it going to take to get back on track yeah both sides searching for adjustments that's complete it's Collins short completion just four yds and it'll be second down but there wasn't much there with that hitch route they didn't gain what they expected but sometimes when you call a hitch you really don't have an alternate to go to you don't have a second route to throw it to so sometimes you have to rifle in there and hope for the best from the 39 yd line here comes second down at six from the gun to give to Mixon and he's going to get it down to the 33 yd line here 51 yds rushing for him now as he's carried it 13 times and that's a nice pickup of a first down on that second down run and at that yardage gained they can run that play on any down stad working out of the gun toward the sideline and look at that catch dragging the toes and that's going to be a first down well done a good pickup there 21 yds and now we get into the psychology of the whole thing because a lot of teams with a two-score lead in the third quarter they almost become defensive with their offense just playing not to lose I think with this team you got to figure at this point this is a great spot for them to go into Attack Mode really try and put the hammer down and finish this one off and the Texans are going to have a first and goal it's some good running there gets him down to about the two y line knocking on the door they're making it look easy out there another first down so so far on this drive let me do this a little bit of math here four plays three first downs that's pretty good recipe for Success back to throw here's St to the goal line but it's incomplete yes sir how about an Out Boy there on first down got his hand in and knocked it away second and goal and they will try again from the two yd line here's a run with Mixon and he gets into the end zone touchdown Houston Joe Mixon taking it in from two yds out and his guys now an extra point away from taking a three-core lead well this offensive line is really really stepped up to the challenge here because those mastadons they've been Sensational clearing holes all game long and this is great work down here near the goal line to give their back the space he needs to work his way into the End Zone on for the pat cim far bear and that'll make this a three-score game as a lead moves to 17 so the drive there took six plays and it all culminated in the touchdown run coming from Joe [Applause] Mixon so after the touchdown here's Fair bear now to kick it [Applause] away and a good return as he'll be stopped just shy of the 30 yd line the Bears offense now getting ready to take over I kind of feel like they've reached a Do or Die point in this game Charles if they're going to try to pull off an impressive comeback it has to start right here right now yeah now they've got a final chance to get out of this situation but they also understand they've got to move the ball and move it fast in addition they need to save as much time so they can get two more possessions coming out with a jumbo package to start the [Applause] drive they'll start this drive out on the ground room here to run and he'll be taken down but not before they work it across Midfield 23 yds on the pickup there and a First Defense really kept him in check running the football in the first half maybe that'll be a spark for him here in half two so two words come to mind for me resilient because he has to keep bouncing back after some limiting runs and how about Relentless keep going knowing that you may pop and he's going to go down the Texans come at him and able to bring him to the ground aiz Al Shir coming in hard there on the blitz and he gets him seven yds behind the line of scrimmage I don't care if you're taking it round one you're drafted whatever as a rookie quarterback in this league you're going to have games where you face adversity like this lessons all the time you're going to face these lessons the key for this guy is will he be able to bounce back in the next one because right now this has not been his game don't need it all back at once but you figure they're going to need something here 17 yd to go on second down and that's out to the flat for Swift and he got blown up losing yardage on the play back at the 44 just a one yd loss that time but that's not what they needed now they're dealing with a third and long boy how good has this defense been seemingly all game long I really think right from the first snap I think you're really on to something there in this passing game it just can't get off the ground and that play it wound up losing yardage and that ball incomplete nearly intercepted took a chance with that one it'll lead to a fourth down looks like another possession offensively and you're at that point of the game where you can't afford too many more of these so this going to require some heavy thinking on the sideline to figure out what they can do to crack this defense and the punt team on now as this one sent away and problem spreading to the punt team now this one goes all the way into the End Zone on the fly so that'll come back to the 20 the Texans offense and their quarterback headed out for this next possession and this defense has got to be at its Whits in trying to come up with ways to keep him contained he's had so many opportunities to tuck it and go and he's turned a number of those opportunities into big plays Houston's offense already at the line set to get going and that last touchdown drive a good mix of pass and run defensively they just looked a little out of whack and it's so hard to stay up with an offense that has things going so well where you're guessing and guessing wrong play after play so what you need is someone on the defensive side of the ball to make a big play throw that balance out of whack that's what you're looking for now not worrying so much about guessing what the play call is here's a second and five now from the 25 they'll stay on the ground Mixon again and he's up ended after a gain of two out to the 27 well praise has to go to the guys on the offensive line because they've had a very nice productive day running the football how about that poor defensive line they've been knocked around the entire game and while they slowed them down on that run can they continue to do so because they haven't had much success throughout this ball game mixing up the middle and he's going to have the first down yardage to the 35 78 yds for him on the ground now on 18 carries but wasn't a goal situation but how about the goal line formation on Third and short they went ahead and went heavy no surprise on who was going to get the football how about the power exhibited there yeah that was just put a hat on a hat drive forward nice job to pick it up here's a give to Mixon and he puts his head down and gets up to the 42 for a gain of about six Well you certainly have to give a little credit here because they are playing this game now at their Pace this is ball control football sustained runs taking their time and making it work from the 42 yd line here's second and [Music] four now to change things up stra will throw it his throw incomplete so many times we talk about coverage we're just talk about a Defender running with a receiver but a big part of it is understanding where the football is finding it in this case when it arrived it wasn't a surprise and he was is able to bat it away now they face a third down and four after that incompletion on second down stad to throw it oh he had him he was open but he couldn't get it to him it's incomplete this defense trying to do its part active hands on that play but their offense hasn't given them much to work with so they're not going to worry about it on their side of the ball all they're concerned about can they create some scoring opportunities and help out that offense the Texans send the punter out as he's on to kick it away and that one hits a little too close to the goal line and it continues into the end zone for a Touchback the Bears now ready to take over again and they have had their problems moving the ball through the air as we take you through some of the action from earlier this secondary has played about as as well as you can many times they've left this quarterback with nowhere to go with the [Applause] football at the line prepping for their next Drive the Bears offense see if they can put this Drive In The End Zone Charles because it it's been a little bit of a rough go at times they had to punt the football a ton in this ball game because of scaled out drives so are you saying that you're kind of tired of seeing the punter run out there and do his thing during this game is that what you're trying to say well I mean I'm okay with it I have a feeling that this offense they don't want to see the punter again and frankly the punter doesn't want to run out there anymore himself he would love to see his offense put together a drive and give his leg a rest right back to Swift again on second down looking to find the L but he can't re in at the line of scrimmage he got maybe a half yard at most but officially they'll be left with a third and two the good run on first down followed up by a not so good run on second down now let's find out they're going to stick with the run here on third down a lot of people would love to see some play action here I say go with your best running play over your best blocker they'll try and run here with Swift and not even back to the line of scrimmage this time as they're on him quickly once more four and this third down looking very tough after the holding penalty third and long to the air Williams he'll fire deep looking for [Music] more it's tip but it doesn't matter he still catches it touch down Chicago DJ Moore 82 two yards and the Bears get a bit closer he put quite a bit of air underneath that touchdown pass of course we knew that he had the strong arm that part was easy you could see that throughout his college career but what you want to know about a rookie is when the pressure is on can you throw with touch he just did right there and boy it was pretty Cairo Santos on to try the extra point it's up it's good that'll make the score line 20- 10 scoring summary three playay drive and it concludes with a touchdown reception by DJ Moore [Applause] now after the touchdown here's Santos to kick this one [Applause] away and not much happening on the return as he'll get this to about the 23 the home team's offense and running back Joe Mixon set to take over once more and as you take a look at the numbers you have to imagine he was the topic of the halftime talk for this defense we've got to find a way to slow him down that's probably what they're saying but nothing that they have done has worked so far the Texans offense ready to go here for their next drive this now a 10-point game so things tightening a little bit after that last score gets by him at the 25 and he'll get this up to the 34 yd [Applause] line that's on Sha Mason the guard [Applause] so following the hold they're in a bit of a hole here with a first and 20 it's St now to throw looking right side and it's intercepted picked off by jayen Johnson and they will finally get to him but a great return has set him up first and goal at the five but such a costly interception nearly a pick six but now they're so close they are knocking on the door for a touchdown and I never want to get on any team for being aggressive because that's part of what their makeup is and often times it's successful but in this case you've got to be selective about it and make sure you take care of the football that interception almost cost him six points now their defense has to run onto the field probably giving the quarterback a few side eyes along the way they've got to see if they can stop a score Suddenly It's first and goal after the interception a quick change in the situation here here's Swift and he's going to press this one forward as they stop it right around the one and give him five that time as they draw a bit closer here for a second and goal and BR they went to a nickel defense and that's a surprise this close to the goal line cuz ordinarily you use the back end of The End Zone the sidelines as extra Defenders and you want bigger people on the field to try and help against the Run Swift again and this time he'll get in touchdown Bears sometimes offenses can get too cute down near the goal line but there's nothing fancy about this one as coach Lombardi would say we get a seal here and we get a seal here and we run this play in the alley and that's good work to hit the hole hard and finish in the end zone now the point after try for Santos it's up and good and the lead's now down to three at 20- 17 well that drivve started with not a whole lot of real estate in front of them in plus territory excellent field position two plays later Pay [Applause] Dirt now after the touch down here Santos to kick this one away and it's a pretty good return here as he'll get this up to the 29 Houston set to take over still enjoying the lead here in the third quarter despite their defense giving up that last touchdown now they'll see if they can get the equalizer here on this drive here's Joe Mixon as they start on the ground 90 yds rushing for him now to this point well I think after that run the defense getting back in the Huddle and looking at each other and maybe starting to question their confidence a bit they gave up a significant run six yards and now you're saying to yourself how do we stop them and do I have enough confidence to make a play back to Mixon on second down and he is met in his tracks behind the line of scrimmage it'll be a loss of a couple on the play so now third down coming up I know they've got to be careful not to go to the well too often but it's a fine line isn't it because sometimes if you got success you want to just keep pounding away but no success there they rallied quickly on the defensive end from the gun on third down here here's St and this is going to be incomplete and that's a really good job there defensively they went into this possession knowing that they needed to get a stop they're in a tight ball game and they got it done great work to force the three and out got the football right back for their offense they've got to go to the sidelines feeling pretty good about themselves and encouraging their offensive mates to get some points on is the punter Townson as he gets this one away and that one hits at the seven but bounds into the end zone and that'll be a Touchback this offense and their wide out headed back onto the field and he was pretty much unguardable in that first half you see the numbers there as they try to add to them here in this third [Applause] quarter the Bears offense ready to go for their next Drive this drive here beginning probably with a pair of motivated groups remember the offense scored a touchdown on their last time out looking to repeat that in Charles's defense they were very frustrated after giving up six the last time on the field and frankly it's just a battle of wills in a lot of ways because you know they're both motivated they both game planned for this drive and they both have specific outcomes in mind to me it just comes down to who can execute better and which side can step up and assert its will over the other [Applause] to throw it's Williams and that going to be incomplete too tough to hold on to that one it's second down and partner to me that one was all about timing if he's there too early it's going to be a pass interference call if he's too late it's a completed pass he was Johnny on the spot on that one so they'll come up after the incompletion for second down to throw Williams and this one incomplete too much contact to hold on to that one and it's third down so another incompletion there he's hitting on fewer than half his pass attempts in this one and that is not a winning formula yeah so let's make sure we give a little bit of credit to the defense here they give them a lot to think about a lot of different looks he seems a little bit confused trying to complete passes looking to throw as Williams he'll drop this one off to Swift and he's not going to sniff the first down here he stopped at the 25 one quarter remains here as we wrap up the week on a Monday night we'll return with more after this this is the NFL and it's on EA Sports back now now in Houston it's been a very hotly contested game to this point just a field goal separating these two teams as we get set for the fourth quarter here comes the Bears pter now as he'll come on for his fifth kick of the 4th quarter [Applause] night and a fair catch signal for and taken successfully so a change of possession here on the punt and the Texans will take over out comes the Houston offense as they get set to take over here their defense got the Stop Force the punt and now you really start to monitor the clock as they nurse this slim lead the drive will commence with a run by Mixon and he's taken down but able to slip across the 35 99 yds on the ground for him now as he has gotten better really as the night's gone on no doubt those are the types of carries they're looking for here Charles the lead in the fourth quarter this is when coaches that have a reliable running game they breathe a little easier on the sideline yeah they love the idea that they can take the air out of the football at this point of the game that means they're really counting on that offensive line counting on the runners taking care of the football because you're going to tell your quarterback hey no time to be a hero we're not going to throw it here just eat up that clock and if you have the ball they can't score two yds to go second down inside hand off to Mixon on a determined run there as he's going to take this all the way down near the 40 they get 14 on that one good for a Houston first down and Carries like that that's how they're going to continue to Salt this thing away here Charles in the fourth quarter yeah how about that a new set of downs clock continues to move no better way to close out a game than to tap those mastadons you have up front and say guys keep pounding them let's keep the ball keep their offense on the sidelines and let's close this one out and this will leave him a yard short nice pickup of nine yds on first down well with a fumble he had earlier we we know how key keeping the football is here that fumble earlier probably at the Forefront of his mind just hold on to this thing it's also at the Forefront of the mind of the guys who are trying to get the ball from him and since they've seen him drop it on the ground before they're doing everything possible to have him do it again they need that turnover and oh he's unable to hold on to that defensively a potential Game Changer but it falls incomplete I think he's taking an awful chance with the football right there you've got a lead you've got to protect it and he's taken chances putting it out there in a little bit of Jeopardy especially in a spot like this fourth quarter as you said trying to cling to that Advantage yeah that one probably should have been picked huh they give to Mixon to try to pick it up and he is going to have a Texans first down by a couple of yards as they're able to convert there on Third and one this has been a tremendous drive to this point and this is all you want playing with a lead in the fourth quarter if you can keep the ball on the ground keep the sticks moving you're going to be in good shape to finish this one [Applause] off back to Mixon on first down and for one of the first times all night he is going to go nowhere as they bury him behind the Line Credit jayen Johnson normally shutting down throwing Lanes but there he shut down that play in the back field well that was one of the few times they've been able to contain him thus far he's over 100 yards for the game but he lost a bit off his total on that carry operating from the gun St on a slant here's Collins he'll be dropped at the 25 after a gain of six that was a nicely run slant route and what the receiver's trying to do is make the defender think he's going up field for a deeper route and then breaks it off usually after about three to four steps and cuts towards the middle of the field and now what he's trying to do is use his body to keep the defender away from the football and get the quarterback a really nice Target and he's going to lose yards they take him down at the [Applause] 26 well they had stopped him for a loss on the Run anyway so they'll decline that it's almost a good psychological advantage isn't it you created a penalty and you still couldn't gain yards against us no way we need to take that one so now one of the biggest kicks of the night is forthcoming this to swell the lead to six the kick by Fair bar is good and high fives for that one as that drive ends in three so they get the three but you wonder now is that going to be enough excellent question because when I look at the smiles on that side of the field they're a little tight aren't they if they had scored a touchdown there would be big Half Moon grins right now cuz they'd feel a whole lot better about their position and a touchdown in the other direction all of a sudden they're down Fair bear now following the made field goal he'll send this one away and up to about the 26 yd line just across the 25 the Bears offense ready to get going again these guys definitely hoping for a better showing than their last appearance they couldn't really even move the football much beyond the Shadows of their own goal post Charles we'll see if they can get a better more sustained drive going here yeah and every team that we ever talk to says the exact same thing when you start a drive from that deep in your own territory the goal is a minimum of at least two first downs because even if you have to punt then you change the field position right you flip the field a little bit they didn't get that done this time they want to string together a nice drive and help themselves out and he is going to be stopped cold behind the line of scrimmage two yds the loss second and 12 that's a play to take note of there for the defense I think in the future if you're going to try and block him maybe you get a guard to help double team him and try and steer him out of the play they should have done it on that snap right back to Swift again on second down and he is met in his tracks behind the line of scrimmage two yds the loss there now third and 14 a that's a tough one right there he ran right into the teeth of the blitz as the linebacker was freed up in order to stuff that one for a loss I think quarterback's got to see that got to find a way to audible into something a little more advantageous Williams now from the gun on third down work in the middle of the field and he's got a man complete and he'll get this one way up just shy of the 45 yd line a big play there as they get the conversion on third and 13 tell you what he's been able to put the ball in some tight spots all game long that throw no different yeah a lot of people would call it a gutsy type of a throw I think he looks at it as I can do it so it's not that big of a deal to me and I'm going to keep [Applause] firing back to throw now on first down and this will be incomplete physical play on the football there and it's second down trying to get that one to his tight end and they've been trying to get the ball to him but as of yet unable to successfully complete one but you know there's usually a nice Comfort Zone in throw to the tight end great sight lines usually right in the middle of the field they will run straight ahead with Swift and he's going to bll his way forward to the 48 four yds the gain and it'll bring up a third down that's second down play call was not to pick up the first down it was to accomplish what they did to get him into a manageable third down because they had the incompletion on first down so they were behind the sticks so to speak they need to make up some ground and they did Williams from the gun on third down under pressure and the Texans able to get in there for the sack and denal Hunter he's the one who gets in there and brings him down to the ground and this dominant def a performance continued on that play this poor quarterback has now received the protection he needs and has had to pick himself up off the turf far too [Applause] often here comes the Bears pter now as he'll come on to kick for a six time [Applause] tonight and this one hits at the one continues on into the end zone for a Touchback the home team's offense and their running back getting ready to go back to work and it's hard to believe you could run the ball a whole lot better than he has the vision the cut back ability the acceleration it's all been on display throughout Houston's offense already at the line set to get going they have played so strongly you look at the scoreboard you probably with the way they played you would think the margin would be a lot bigger right you would and in your experience how many times have we run into coaches where they've talked about hey we just want to put in the hands of our defense and have them win the game in this case yeah not the case not at all you want to put in the hands of your offense but you always feel better about seeing defense because you think defense is a constant and offense kind of comes and goes today this game no they need their offense to stay on a really hot level they've been hot so far and he's brought down getting this one up to about the 35 10 yds there good enough for a Texan first down and this is exactly what you're looking to do offensively if you can start stringing some runs together like this you'll keep turning out first downs and that's going to put you in a great position to carry this one home ball up to the 35 now as they come up on First and 10 once again they run with Mixon and this will be a Texans first down as he's got this up to the 45 yd line now I'm guessing you'd say this is kind of the key here grind out some yardage work on that clock see if you can continue to tick it down definitely you want to bleed things out at this point right continue to possess the football gain some yardage and put the onus on the defense do they have to use timeouts what are they going to do to stop you you're taking charge Mixon with a first down carry a Nifty Juke there not much fun for a guy try to tackle it and he ran right through one tackle as he fights forward for a gain of seven the recipe is pretty simple I think right just give your Superstar the ball continue to feat him yeah don't overthink this one right make sure he's touching the football but you're also counting on his intelligence in playing the game as well if it's not there don't force the run just make sure you hang on to the football and keep the clock ticking a short one going to be taken in here by Schulz and he's got this down a yard or two shy of the 40 before he's out of bounds his fifth catch tonight and it's good for a first down many different ways to create space but on that play he did it with that big wide body of his didn't get a whole lot of yardage on the play but it did what it was supposed to pick up a first down St looking to throw it's complete to Diggs and he's going to get this down near the 30 yd line [Applause] they're backed up here with a first and 20 now after the holding penalty looking to throw St he's got it complete to Diggs right side and he is down at the 48 a pickup of four that started at 148 yd line and ended at the other [Applause] and movement here by one of the Texans up front in comes the flag expect this from the visiting team when playing indoors but not the home team they're supposed to get all the advantages right the home crowd supposed to help them they forgot where they were [Music] [Applause] perhaps back to throw St and that'll be incomplete took a pretty good shot as he tried to pull that one in couldn't hang on third down this a very important drive and that incompletion leads to a very important third down here if they're going to try and get the football back yeah getting it back absolutely crucial to their chances to try and win this game I would expect a lot of pressure here they can't afford to let them continue to get first downs and eat away at the clock again it's drown he'll rifle this one deep right side that's going to be knocked away and incomplete lead that was for the lead right there they know they're in a position where fortune favors the brave so they took their shot but couldn't connect the Texans send the punter out he's been terrific so far and the kicks away as he angles this one for the sideline and no return here where will they spot it they say just outside the 20yd line the Bears offense and Caleb Williams set to go to work once more and this defense might be about ready to wave the White Flag nothing they have tried to throw at him has been that successful he just processes things so quickly and makes a right read seemingly every [Applause] time at the line prepping for their next Drive the bears' offense their defense accomplished step one of the mission they forc the punt now they'll look to erase that deficit and and take a fourth quarter lead a gain of 11 to kick off the drive and it's a quick first down I got the sense that the defense created a little momentum for them there didn't they did their job forced the punt now nice start to the drive offense has to do their part yeah they certainly do but what a great start for them they got to go thank the guys on D now on first down he'll drop to throw it finding space at the 40 and he'll take it to the 43 yd line it's a pickup of 10 and a Bears first first down and here we are in the fourth quarter partner and watch them drive for what would be a go-ahead touchdown and you and I both know this is where you need a quarterback who can keep his cool back there not just for himself but to keep the rest of the team relaxed [Applause] too working out of the gun Williams a little short pass this is Everett and he'll be taken down but not before he gets into enemy territory fourth quarter down to the final two minutes and we got a one- score game so the Bears with a football here as we welcome you back they come up on a first and 10 desperately needing a score here on what could be their F oh and that's going to sabotage their comeback plans it is intercepted and he's able to get it back here to the 43 yd line defensively that time they were in zone coverage as a rookie QB what lesson can you learn there well understand this you saw zone in college and the defensive backs reacted but they don't react like they do on this level so when they're in zone and they see the ball coming to them they'll react at least a half a second faster you've got to know where you want to go with the ball and be decisive with it otherwise the end result can be something you don't like and here comes the Texans now and this game not quite over yet and we'll likely see them take all three timeouts defensively so they can't just kneel this one out they're going to have to try to run a few plays you're exactly right they've got to get a first down and make them use up all their timeouts in order to feel like they have this one in hand they got to have two hands on the football here as they run on first down and he did not want to go down there as he carries tacklers for a solid gain of nine [Applause] another yard would probably put this thing in the books it's second and [Applause] one he's going to get it again just looking to get forward and protect the ball now the Bears going to use the second of their timeouts and they'll be disappointed to have to burn one there after giving up the first down [Applause] [Applause] it's Mixon on the counter and I think this defense knew what was coming as he is smothered behind the [Applause] line you'd have to think likely another running play coming here second and 11 [Applause] again it's Mixon and he'll go down at the 26 following a gain of six I like the call there because that was one to take time off the clock and get them closer to getting out of here with a W in the mind of the play caller all you want to hear is tick tick tick third and four [Applause] to throw with st and that is incomplete oh he had a Defender right there with him to force that to the ground and fourth down now coming up from a defensive perspective they had exactly what you want anytime they want to throw the football there was pressure on the quarterback they were getting after him and they tighten down on the receivers and force the incompletion Fair bear able to put this one through and that will make this a nine-point lead so barring something extraordinary here in the closing stages that field goal to just about put this one on Ice yeah we got to find two scores so you know we're not going to exactly move it over there yet it can be done but boy it's going to be a little bit of a stretch for them isn't it yeah they would have to move incredibly quick and have some luck too Fair bear now following the made field goal he'll send this one away and out a little across the 25 to the 27 the Bears offense and their quarterback set to take the field once more and it's been a rough night at the office for him he's been more of a liability than an asset throughout the contest and this offense is having a hard time overcoming his struggles to this [Applause] point here's first and 10 trying to shake off the interception from the last Drive he'll look to throw and they're going to have this across Midfield and inside the 45 of course the catch was nice but how about what happened after able to stay on his feet and gain all that additional yardage so many of these slot guys I think have running back in their background here's first down looking to throw Williams and this is intercepted and that should do it and the Texans are going to take over at their own 41 the rookie was trying to push it down field but the safety bit him and he'll learn that you have to hold the safety and you do that with your head movement your eyes sometimes your shoulders hold the safety so you can get back to the throw that you really want to make he got so excited thinking his guy was open that he made it easy for the defensive back to go get the football the Texans offense now they get set to head back onto the field and they've got this one in hand no timeouts remaining defensively so this one should just be one kneel and then handshakes to ano Str and that is going to be all she [Applause] [Applause] wrote well CD for the losing side they had opportunities in this one but big plays just didn't go their way especially late and they have to suffer theend here certainly felt like that takeaway once it happened and knocked the wind out of their sales and they just couldn't get their equilibrium [Applause] back so that'll do it for us for my partner Charles Davis and all the hardworking men and women on our crew Player stats I'm Brandon G you've been watching the NFL right here on EA Sports It's a win for the Texans as we say so long from Houston
