Pregame it's Madden NFL 24 on EA Sports and the question is are you ready for some football it's the Tennessee Titans and the New Orleans Saints coming up next a first open back in 1975 there's a look inside the iconic super doome in downtown New Orleans coming up we've got what should prove to be a good one as it'll be the Tennessee Titans taking on the New Orleans [Applause] Saints with Charles Davis as always I'm Brandon Gard Charles you talk about story lines in this one I think it begins and ends with our two quarterbacks certainly two of the best in the business and nowadays I don't think you can get by for long periods of time without a Top Flight quarterback the way the game is played with all the responsibility he has and how the game flows through him if he's not on the top of his game your team's not going to benefit at all [Applause] [Applause] 1st quarter here's a punter Thomas morstead to get this one started and we are underway from the Superdome this taken in right around the goal line and a good return as he'll be stopped just shy of the 30 yd line so here are the Titans Now for their first drive and leading them out there we get a look at their six3 quarterback I tell you what when he is on schedule for that week secondaries take notice because you've got to stay alert back there on every snap a truly powerful arm one is capable of challenging any level of the defense on any given play that's why so many Scouts preach armt we preparing for the NFL draft a quarterback with arm strength to make every throw in the book he's an asset to have in any offense [Applause] on first down it's Moon catch made here by Campbell and they get him down but not before he takes it across the 40 yd line 11 yds there on the first play from scrimmage nice little Nifty play for him there that's the ability to read a defense and utilize players that don't often get picked up in coverage easily and I'm talking about being able to use the backs out of the back field cuz I know that when I used to cover hey we got everybody oh he just snuck out there and they just got a nice first down and nothing but green grass here middle of the field and he takes this one down almost all the way to the 30 28 yds the gain there on the catch and run a great job there and that old cliche taking what the defense gives you comes right into play nothing too out of the ordinary about the throw just a little dump off over the middle but what is out of the ordinary is what he did with it after the catch not did he grab the ball but how about the significant yardage he picked up after he pulled it in and nothing much materializing there on the first down run he'll get a couple and that's it certainly a nice job there by the defense rallying to the football and getting him on the ground but I think the play gets made by the defensive front because if they can't get up field their job is to go ahead and get low almost get into a ball sometimes stack things up and make it difficult for the runner to find a hole a play fake now moon this will be caught inside the 10 and they move this all the way down to the nine an excellent pickup of 20 yds boy no problems getting down the field here on this opening drive they've looked really sharp in the early going and they've come up with some big plays already here's another that's going to set up first and goal they'll run up the Middle with Campbell and a nice pick up there he gets about five down to the four yd line as larger been the Air Attack that's gotten him down here but now is where you start to lean on that running game that's a good pickup there on first and goal second and goal from inside the [Applause] five in motion Hill to throw on second down Moon and it's caught in the end zone touchdown Tennessee from four yds out and the Titans will jump on top with a game's first score here this afternoon and the QB rating right now Skyhigh four for four on that opening drive and it ends with a touchdown pass yeah I don't know quite how to figure it out I think I need my friends from MIT to come in and help me but I think 158.3 is the number one right that's the highest you can get that's where he is he'd like to continue on that pace extra point put through by suup and it's now a seven nothing game now it's Ryan suup on after the touchdown to kick it away and he'll get it up past the 20 to about the 22 so here come the Saints now for their first drive and leading him out their veteran quarterback you almost feel privileged partner every time you get to see run out in the field to start a game because every game every snap you and I both know he has the potential to do something special and that inspires his teammates as well they know how incredible he is they want to give Max effort as well they start the drive on the ground chamra and not much doing there maybe a yard up to the 23 but not much on that run Charles no that's exactly the way to execute a run blitz there they guessed correctly that they would move the ball on the ground honed in on it and stopped them marked that down for a win in the defense's column from the 23 here's a second down and nine Breeze going to [Music] throw and his throw is going to be incomplete Charles already trailing by touchdown early this offense how imperative is it for them to get points out of this drive well they feel like they have to go ahead and match because of what was already on the board against their defense but I think even more so you just want to avoid three and outs you want to be able to stay on the field for a little while let your defense catch their breath a little bit even if you don't score any [Applause] points and now the third down throw incomplete as well that was their first third down try of the game and clearly something was off execution of that play good news they' got a whole game left to clean that up and start clicking on those key third down throws here's Thomas morstead on now to putt it away on fourth down adori Jackson deep for Tennessee fielded just inside the 20 we'll call that a punt of 54 yards well struck and it'll be Titan football the Titans coming back onto the field for their second Drive they'll be looking to duplicate that first drive the one that got him that seven nothing lead of course they would and look they're on the road so getting the seven to nothing lead was huge for them right imagine getting up two touchdowns on the road taking the crowd out of the game it'd be [Applause] ideal they begin the drive with Johnson now he's loose at the 40 inside the 20 touchdown Titans a great play there 71 yards and the Titans are able to strike quickly to add on to their lead another impressive drive so they're two for two two touchdowns Charles a great start to this ball game for them and one of the words that's really worked its way into our lexicon is stacking they've stacked momentum each time out not only on offense between those touchdowns defense held forced a punt to get the ball back and they've played awfully well in this one both sides pling at Optimum level extra point Up and Good by Sucka and it's now 14 to nothing I'm not sure if they drew that play up to score but it's scored indeed One play on the ground and into the end zone for six now it's Ryan suck up on after the touchdown to kick it away and he won't return this one he'll go down to a knee and they'll start at the 25 New Orleans Saints they get ready to set up shop for their second Drive they've been outplayed early no question down 14 nothing already as they come up first and 10 to throw is Breeze and he's got his big wide receiver complete a big time play there for New Orleans 55 yds seems like all the fireworks in this first quarter have been on the other sideline but here they're saying hey we've got some explosive guys on our side too and that's a big play in a game that's looking like it might be full of big plays let's go boy go so the field flips here as they'll go to work at the 20 now on First and 10 into the Red Zone it's Breeze this is caught touchdown Saints a 20yd touchdown and the Saints have cut it back within a score well executed there offensively defense looked a little confused but he found his receiver and that one good for six points and the payoff we just saw there tells us how many times they ran this play in practice over the past few weeks because they executed that flawlessly right here on game day when the situation arose now the extra point try forth [Applause] coming and that one makes it 14-7 that drive started on their own 25 two plays 75 yd later into the end [Applause] zone morstead out now following the touchdown to kick and he'll just take a seat and the drive will begin at the 25 yd line out come the Titans now well partner you know coaches always say that every play is designed to score a touchdown sometimes that's not really true but last drive that was the case one play to get into the end zone and now they'll try to duplicate that success here and it's rare for those moments to happen incredible when they do and you saw the celebration pure Bridal Joy after that one on First and 10 Moon Over the middle it's complete and he gets this one just shy of the 40 they'll Mark him down at the 39 first play of the drive going for 14 and also going for a first down I know exactly what's going to be said about that play from the defensive perspective what's that that's why I tell all you guys we need more than one tackler to the ball he broke the first tackle luckily enough there were more people there to get him [Applause] down now this throw caught left side and he takes this one down almost all the way to the 30 that one nearly 30 yds 29 officially and defensively they were in zone coverage there do you have to be a little careful you're losing playing against a good quarterback like he is to not play too much Zone yeah you have to be careful about how much time you're giving up I think it's a good point you just brought up so maybe if you still want to play zone you go to a Zone Blitz scheme and you can drop anyone out of your defensive front defensive end defensive tackle it doesn't matter you just exchange someone to bring more pressure towards the quarterback and still try and cover downfield here's a pass swung out left to his running back and we see another pitch and catch there to the running back this position just continues to evolve they become just as critical to the passing attack as a lot of receivers tight ends because their ability to make people missing the open field can really generate big plays for an offense playaction it's Moon and that's going to be incomplete Zone coverage there and they were playing deep that makes it obviously a little bit harder to run by guys and that time it was not much of a window to get the ball in there and it winds up incomplete the 22 is the line to gain here on third down out of the gun it's move he's got his Target that's complete and he's brought down but not before he reaches the 8 yd line they're able to convert on third down and that sets up a first and goal boy how about the speed with which this offense can get down the field it's taking them no time at all to get down here and now they're set up with a first and goal they go up the Middle with Campbell and he'll take this from the nine down to about the seven The Yards may start getting a little tougher to come by down here near the goal line that's good work defensively they're on first down holding them to a short gain two of their three red Zone trip so far they've come up empty on they'll look to reverse that trend on second and goal in motion Hill on second down here's Moon shoves him aside and a nice job to break free of one tackle but it slowed his momentum somewhat and he's taken down right after five yds that time on the completion and now it's third and goal [Applause] [Applause] they'll run it's cble and he gets in touchdown Tennessee taking it in from a yard out and the Titans go up by two touchdowns sometimes offenses can get too cute down near the goal line but there's nothing fancy about this one as coach Lombardi would say we get a seal here and we get a seal here here and we run this play in the alley and that's good work to hit the hole hard and finish in the end zone extra point try now for [Applause] suck it's good and it is now 21 to7 so that one an eight-play drive it span 75 yds and it ends with a Oney touchdown run now it's Ryan suup on after the touchdown to kick it away from his in zone here's Rasheed Shahed and tackled at the 21 yd line so a net negative there of four yds out onto the field comes New Orleans a strong showing their last time out they scored the touchdown but Charles they look up and they're still down double digits so you feel like just to keep Pace this drive probably needs to end in the end zone as well and I think the best move for them is to not worry about how far they are down on the scoreboard but to just remember the last drive and how it ended go ahead and try and repeat that then you can look at the scoreboard and see where this game is now a first Carry for their fullback credit him with a one ydd gain there to make it second and nine that's someone who's pretty happy right there that's the defensive coordinator body after body getting to him before he can get started second and nine to throw it's Breeze that's to his running back it's Alvin chra and he's taken down but able to slip across the 30 he'll get 15 and a Saints first down we always talk about having to read defenses and how complicated that is well this was an excellent read read the pressure and got rid of the football before it even got to him for a nice game and when they're blitzing like that running back usually a good spot to go with a football without a doubt because he's right in your sight line or he's near you so you're able to just get it to him easily and once he gets in space that's usually a good match up for him and that flag accepted first the F start backs him up five first and 15 following the penalty it's chamra oh good move and able to break one tackle but then quickly brought down but a nice little gain and a nice run to get him past the original line of scrimmage a gain of seven it's second and eight now now Breeze throwing right and that's complete and he'll be taken down but not before he works it past the 50 he had the touchdown earlier this one's going to get him a first down if you're going to Blitz likely going to leave you in man coverage with this guy and that is less than ideal it is because just about any offense that has an elite receiver if you Blitz and have him in man coverage you're going to him even if he has an elite defender on him because he usually knows where the ball is before the defender does and a 6yd gain gets him right around the 43 a quick burst there and he nicely bit off a pretty decent gain line of scrimmage the 43 on second and four throwing now is breeze it's caught outright by Graham and he got blown up losing yardage on the play back at the 44 call that a loss of a yard and things get a little more difficult here third and five we'll put that one in the wind column for the defense trying to contain tight ends in the passing game is so difficult nowadays but they did in a big way there now Breeze and he's going to be sacked they sack him back right at the Midfield strike and now that brings up fourth down there a loss of six yards on the sack well defensively they're doing everything they can to protect this early lead after giving up a touchdown on their last drive now the veteran Thomas morstead on to putt it away and problems spreading to the punt team now this one goes all the way into the End Zone on the Flies so that'll come back to the 20 the Titan offense now working their way back onto the field right now everything they touch turns to Gold this is their fourth possession touchdowns on their first three possessions I mean this defense they can't seem to stop them it's like they're on skates great analogy Brandon because they are pushing them back and winning everything at the line of scrimmage they've just been laying down tracks towards the opposite end zone so to themselves all they're saying is if we don't make a mistake there's no way they can stop us now a first down throw Moon that one complete to Hill and he's got it past the 30 before he's hit and dropped a gain of 11 to kick off the drive and it's a quick first down well obviously Red Man covers their partner and he got downfield broke down the defender made what mean by that yeah he made him think he was going to run a different route probably thought he was going to take it up field then he curls back inside for the completion on the handoff here's and now a fumble the ball's out wow that ball gets KN free but a teammate comes along and Scoops it up almost like it's almost like baseball guys at bat people are on base in scoring position one guy doesn't get him home the next guy comes through and picks him up and avoids the turnover the fumble on first down now here's second down they'll give to the big man cble and the hole closes quickly there he gets maybe a couple up to the 38 better ball security but not much else to show for it a pretty wild first quarter 217 our score second quarter now Titans in possession of the football coming up here looking for three yds to pick up the first as they've got it with a third down coming 2nd quarter up now meanwhile a pass that should have been intercepted but it winds up falling incomplete that might be the third down stop that they needed because they've had a lot of trouble slowing down this offense in the first half this might be their opportunity to get off the field on now is the Titans punter as he'll come on to kick this one away [Applause] and that one hits at the seven but bounds into the end zone and that'll be a Touchback the New Orleans offense back out and ready to go over on the sideline hoping to hit that reset button between possessions last time out they had to punt it away this time hoping to finish this thing off of the end zone they begin on the ground with chamra and he's got it past the 30 before he's hit and dropped nice way to start the drive a gain of 12 and a first down I'm okay with the call there in fact I actually like it I know they're down a couple of scores but the running game worked in that situation I would continue you to go in that direction from the 32 now here's first and 10 now Breeze firing quickly here and that's complete and they'll get him down after a pick up of Eight Second and two Nothing Fancy on first down but a very consistent type of a play hit that slant a lot of people call it an extension of the running game and it can be if that pass is completed cuz you hit a guy the run like that he often can go for big yardage sets him up nicely for second down staying ahead of schedule looking middle and that's complete third catch of this first half for him and this one is a first down [Applause] now Flags will come in and I think this is against the Saints up [Applause] front and they'll accept that penalty a false start backs him up five first and 15 on playaction it's Breeze wide open receiver complete and he's going to get this all the way down inside the 35 a really nice gain of 25 Ys these guys have definitely been outplayed in the first half but I like their countenance I like the way that they having panicked out there the way they're carrying themselves they were starting to move the ball and what you have to do maintain your Poise and start to put together some drives so operating from Tennessee territory now here's first and 10 down at the 33 here's Breeze and that is going to be incomplete as he let him a bit too much sort of looks like they stopped some fight in them on this series because it seemed like things were headed for the Red Zone but if this defense gets two more stops they can keep them out of that area so now second and 10 after the incompletion on first down Breeze to throw again and a quick throw here that's complete he'll be marked down at the 26 with a gain of [Applause] seven seventh play of the drive now as they come up on a third and three Breeze now and he's going to go down here a sack push him back to the 34 multiple players getting home there for an 8yd loss well if the goal is to get back into this game the offense is certainly moving in the wrong direction this is certainly a case where one team needs Big Splash plays right now but unfortunately it's the other team that's getting [Applause] them out now is the field goal unit for New Orleans he's going to need a little mustard on this one it will be a 51 yd attempt and this one is right down the middle and that will get the disadvantage now back down to 11 so as it turns out that sack doesn't wind up costing them Charles they at least get points get three of them yeah that's where your kicker can really come to your rescue because you know after the sack there was a little consternation there are we out of field goal range are we going to be able to get three in this case he stepped right up and gave him exactly what they needed [Applause] morstead the punter out to kick it off and no chance to get away as they'll get him down at about the 17 yd line and here comes Tennessee as they get set to take take the field obviously not the intended goal last Drive they had to punt the football but still they've got the lead here and now a chance to add on to that lead if they can get points on this drive first and 10 upcoming now Moon and his throw is incomplete so after the incompletion on first now second and 10 Moon and incomplete on the Deep ball they have to like what they've done defensively here at the outset of this drive they forced a couple of incomp complete passes bring up a third and 10 don't be surprised to bring a little pressure on this snap this offense on third down today they've been okay two for three thus far this is third and 10 here's Moon throwing left sideline there but it's incomplete yeah that's a nice job there defensively the bre of those receivers on third down and the quarterback all you can do is just Loop one toward the bench not too close mind you and live to pump the football on now is the Titans punter standing just outside his own goal line so just a three- yd return following a punt of 45 and the Saints will take over with a first down and 10 back out onto the field now comes the New Orleans off offense last time out you remember their Drive stalled but thanks to their kicker booted a long field goal to at least get him three now here they'll try to do better and find the end zone and in our experience how much fun is it for coaches to know that they've got a kicker who can nail it from long distance now the hard part is as an offensive play caller you don't want that in your head too much where you're relying on it and he goes out and gets the job done for them but I'm quite sure he would be content to just kick extra points from here on out yeah absolutely no question I think his teammates would be okay with him just kicking the extra points as well just a yard on the pickup there and it'll bring up a second and nine defenses always talk about earning the right to rush the passer on third down and you know what offenses want win first down so that can set things up for themselves better and that wasn't helpful there not a big impact on first down on second down here's Breeze to the right side and complete to Thomas and he'll be taken down but not before he gets in enemy territory First grab for Thomas it's good for a first down as well well this hasn't really been a first half to remember on either side of the ball but I think this kind of makes this an important Drive you'd love to get this back to a one- score game if you can and that's good work there to get some yardage here and pick up the first down throwing on first down is Breeze that's into a crowd intercepted and the Titans are going to get this back to their own 34 yd line Brandon I'm not going to tell him that you called him old in our pregame meeting but this guy has been around a long time if there's a trick in the book he knows it he probably even wrote a few chapters and this is what he's always had and that's a nose for the football he's able to come away here with the interception the Titans getting set and ready to go here for their next Drive these guys definitely hoping for a better showing than their last appearance they couldn't really even move move the football much beyond the Shadows of their own goal post Charles we'll see if they can get a better more sustained drive going here yeah and every team that we ever talk to says the exact same thing when you start a drive from that deep in your own territory the goal is a minimum of at least two first downs because even if you have to punt then you change the field position right you flip the field a little bit they didn't get that done this time they want to string together a nice drive and help themselves out now this one complete downfield on the left side first down yardage on the first play of the drive 14 yds how about this throw right here had to throw it to the left sideline and you know the timing's got to be correct on this one Ball's got to be right where it needs to be and it was that's because he had great arm strength on that one able to drive the football quarterbacks love it when they can show off their arms on first down it's Moon so five yards here five on the play and it's second down nice Rhythm throw there on first down he located his tight end made a nice easy pitch and catch hoping he can break a tackle or two wasn't able to do that there but still good [Applause] yardage from the 47 it's second and [Applause] five on the run it's Campbell what a nice burst there as he'll take this inside the 30 to the 28 yd line that good for 19 and a first down and they really needed to get something going didn't they they had pun on the last two possessions the running game starting to come to the front for them providing a nice pick up there to keep this drive going a play fake now moon now a quick throw there but it's going to be incomplete this could be the start of a nice stand from this defense now after getting walked backwards on this drive come through with another one here and you have them staring at a third and long and that puts the defense in a position to dictate to the offense here's second and 10 moon to [Applause] throw it's a short one here complete to his TI end and this is going to be another first down as the tackle made at the Saints 15 yd line that one goes for 13 yds and it moves the sticks so many times in my career I've heard coaches talk about completions are one thing but as long as we're there at the catch and we get guys on the ground we can live with that but if you're going to give up 10 12 15 yards after the catch then your defense is going to be in a lot of [Applause] trouble so they'll go ahead and accept the [Applause] penalty the full start backs him up five first and 15 they'll run with a big man Campbell and he is going to be stopped cold behind the line of scrimmage it's a loss of a yard there and it's second down with his size he's a tough man to bring down but they do a nice job there stopping his progress and not allowing him to get back to the line of scrimmage second and 16 now Moon Over the middle hauled in by Campbell and he'll go down here at the 12 yd line so the completion results there in nine yds third and seven [Applause] now so seven yds from the first down here as they come up to the line of scrimmage to throw Moon that he is caught at the seven yd line and it looks like he'll be just a yard shy of the five here as he's out at the six well looks like they got what they wanted they got the completion but they weren't able to break any tackles or gain nearly enough yardage to pick up the first down now to be fourth and short Mike Vel saw him on the sideline he didn't even hesitate they will go for it on Fourth they'll try and run for it and he's able to pick up the first before he's brought down inside the five at the four just a gain of three but they'll certainly take it as they convert on fourth down so he needed one he ended up getting three and I really like the way he ran that one too that's really intelligent running because often times a running back could get too greedy try and hit the home run on a play where you just need a few yards well done there making sure he got the first and he will score touchdown Titans taking it in from four yds out and the Titans are able to add on to that lead and nothing special there they show they were going to run the football they ran it they got it in like oldtime football right hey this is exactly what we're going to do Straight Ahead power and they got it done suup for the extra [Applause] point and the lead is up to 18 now a 10-play drive that time and it results in a four- yd touchdown run [Applause] now it's Ryan suup on after the touchdown to kick it away and he'll get it up just past the 20 as his guys will go to work at the 21 yd line now the Saints they Trot their offense out here and we'll see if they can bounce back from that last Drive in particular if they can bounce back at the quarterback position Charles after throwing their first interception of the ball game yeah and some guys you know they're going to want to try and get a big play right away and take control back others they're going to want look to hit a couple shorter passes and get a little momentum back that way but for the defense that goal's not changing a bit they want another pick you're exactly right about that in fact you got to watch them a little bit because in coverage they may cut down their gaps a little bit maybe their splits a little bit in order to try and get to the ball even faster yes sir how about an out of boy there on first down got his hand in and knocked it away [Applause] now a second and [Music] 10 Breeze going to throw the connection made it's Graham and they're able to get this one across the 35 second catch for him today and it'll wind up a first down ah it's a welld designed play here three wide receivers in the formation they're all going to run deep routes to put pressure on the safeties and then they let their tight end cut his route off a little shorter and work toward the middle of the field that's a difficult route to try to defend Breeze now on first down that one complete downfield to Thomas and he has a big gain inside the 40 before being dropped call that a very strong gain of 24 now that's the kind of big play you'd like to see this first half it hasn't gone their way and they could use a shot in the arm something to perk him up a bit and they get one here in the passing game so the ball moves from 138 to the other as they come up on First and 10 to throw it's Breeze and that is incomplete a the coverage a little too good there and it's second down some of the fans here don't seem too happy about what we've seen in this first half no not at all and I understand why they look baric out of sync and it shows on the scoreboard after the incomplete pass here now is second and 10 Breeze now to [Music] throw and this time he's got the hook up it's complete and he's going to have another first down as the tackle made at the Titans 20 yd line that'll put him over a 100 yds receiving now here in this first half of action so in the second quarter he's already up over a 100 yds receiving now and and isn't 100 the magic number for a really good game for a receiver so he's got a chance to really shatter that and have a profound effect on this game throwing on first down but this one winds up to be incomplete and I think they'd be well served to take that type of a physical approach against him the rest of the game he's had his way so far but on that last one that worked quite well for the defense after the incompletion here's second and 10 from the [Music] 20 again it's Breeze and he comes back with one complete that'll leave him with a third and two coming up they got eight yards there I know sometimes we can get fooled when we watch him make catches as we just saw him do there because he really looks like a wide receiver the way he goes about his business yeah 230 240 range yeah not not super huge maybe not counted on to be that inline point of attack blocker that we used to have in the good old days but you can Flex him out you can run wide receiver routes with him you can make him a primary target and that's how he'll shred a defense now throwing on third down there but he cannot connect fourth down now as the Titans defense holds up in coverage and a smart play there he's probably saying I wish I would have done that in the last Drive instead of throwing the interception out now is the field goal unit for New Orleans from the right hash and this one just a chippy and his kick is right there it's good and that'll get the deficit down to 15 so the three points there in CD that helps him inch a bit closer yeah partner when you're losing any point you see go on the board in your favor you're happy to take them [Applause] [Applause] morstead the punter out to kick it off from a couple yards deep he'll break it out of the end zone and in hindsight probably should have taken a knee as he only gets this out to the 16 yd line here's the Titan offense now as they make their way back onto the field this drive here beginning probably with a pair of motivated groups remember the offense scored a touchdown on their last time out looking to repeat that in Charles's defense they were very frustrated after giving up six the last time on the field and frankly it's just a battle of wills in a lot of ways because you know they're both motivated they both G game plan for this drive and they both have specific outcomes in mind to me it just comes down to who could and now this is intercepted my goodness and they will take over at the 26 yd line so really the first speed bump that this offense has encountered they'd had the rule of the roost here in this first half but now slowed up just a bit by the interception and there's a chance that's a wake up call for him because you don't want to go on autopilot too early that team on defense is capable of making some plays similar to the one they made right there and now the Saints get set to trot out there and now following that turnover they've got an opportunity here to try to cash in with good field position before intermission [Applause] [Applause] so after the int it's Breeze they'll get this out to chamra and out of bounds right around the 20 it'll go down as a gain of six and that'll make it second down it's funny throughout the time that we've been together when we talk with running backs about the ability to catch the ball their eyes light up when they talk about open field and having one-on-one matchups don't they yeah they do that's a reason why what we just saw shedding those tackles and that's what they're used to doing it is and it starts at the beginning of the play one-on one match up if someone's trying to cover them but they also like those one-on ones down field after the catch when they're running with the ball they think they're going to win those too it's a 10yd gain there to set him up first and goal and remember this drive started off following the turnover and they've taken no time working their way down the short field a nice connection there and now they're looking at a first and goal this is first and goal and a golden chance to get a score back here before halftime off the play fate to chamra it's Breeze looking for Thomas he's got him touchdown New Orleans 10 yds on the touchdown pass and the Saints get a late score here in the final minute of the first half I think everyone in the league talks about finishing don't they doesn't matter whether it's a quarter a half a game a series whatever but they're finishing the first half in fine Style putting that one in the end Z they did they didn't leave much time on the clock either well done now for the point after and this one's back to an eight-point game so they only needed three plays on that drive and it's Michael Thomas who ends it with a touchdown reception [Applause] morstead out now following the touchdown to kick from a yard or two deep here comes a return and the decision to come out of the end zone is going to cost him five yards as he's taken down right at the 20 the Titans going to go back on offense here late in this first half and with a little under a minute to go still time to try to put a drive together together to add to their lead should they so [Applause] choose trying to shake off the interception from the last Drive he'll look to throw the Titans going to use the first of their timeouts as they get the stoppage with just under 5 seconds remaining in half number [Applause] one a good gain on first has him set up with second and just a couple of inches now from the 29 looking to throw Moon quick hitter here it's complete and down he goes but he takes it up to the 40 an 11 yd pickup for the Titans and a first down I know the halim's approaching but I don't think he's going to want to take a break that's his fifth catch yeah they've really been targeting the tight end backto back good plays have them on the move on first down out of the gun it's move and this is incomplete very lucky to get that one back and nearly picked it's second down now a man's going a little loose with the football there right interception before almost had one here he's got to start taking better care of it yeah really should have been backto back drives with interceptions he's lucky there here's Campbell and not much room to operate as he'll get this up only to about the 41 now Tennessee going to use the second of their timeouts as it'll come with 15 seconds to play in the first half [Applause] they'll come up now third and [Applause] nine operating from the gun Moon a throw left sideline FS incomplete my man old Mo momentum might be changing jerseys right now how about what they just got done they scored a touchdown their last Drive now here's a three and out maybe momentum's getting ready to creep to the other sideline on now is the Titans pter as he's on here to putt it away he's been a busy man here in this first half as he gets it away and did they keep it in they did they kept it in it's down close to the goal line at the one yd line amazing perfectly placed if that ball goes one extra yard maybe not even an extra yard the starting point is the so there is a reason that a lot of punters are also excellent golfers they know distance control you know what else they have same Groove motion over and over once they have that down it repeats Under Pressure getting set for their next Drive the New Orleans offense and from here might not be able to take a knee might need to run a play here that's close to their goal line and he's able to get this across the 10 before being taken down so we've reached halftime in a wild first half we'll take a minute to catch our breath as we'll get you over to Orlando where standing by is Jonathan Coachman he has our EA Sports halime report all right BG thanks very much and welcome one and all to our beautiful new downtown Orlando studios for this EA Sports halftime report okay Coach appreciate it a one touchdown game here as we get set to resume play in the second half [Applause] 3rd quarter both these offenses have been in fine form what will the second half bring us as we are underway in quarter three on the return here's Rasheed Shahed and good coverage there on special teams as they'll get him down shy of the 20 out come the Saints now they'll go on offense first here to begin the third quarter well Charles in that first half we saw a fair amount of offense on both sides of the football and now the team trailing here will start with it in the third quarter and we both know this coach pretty darn well don't we because his game planning is always on point and now that he's getting the ball to start the second half how about all the offense that you already referenced in the first half he'll put that all together and come out with something really strong I believe to get things going here in the third quarter this will be a gain of about eight to the 27 yd [Applause] line now a second and two now Flags will come in and I think this is against the Saints up front oh jumping early from his tight end spot maybe trying to get a jump start on that route yeah I think you're exactly right about that and often times when you see that that means the play call was supposed to come in his Direction and he was eager to go catch a pass on second down chamra he'll pick up only a yard there and it'll leave him with a third and seven defensively we always know that he is tough and run support and I think the way that he gets there is he understands what an offense is going to do before the ball's even snapped a great job of scouting prior to the game then reading reacting and taking the right path to the ball carrier now breeze on third down he's got his Target that's complete and he is going to have a Saints first down as they're able to get the third down conversion I don't care how many times we say it I still get a kick out of watching backs and receivers do the pass trick in pregame warm up but I always remember that when we go to practices we see that after practices as well they really tune it up don't they they tune it up they know why they do it for these situations first down and they build that trust and that's why they're able to find him in this type of a situation and they'll fake the Jet Sweep there and instead hand to chamra and he is met in his tracks behind the line of scrimmage call it a full three yards in the wrong direction Direction there brings up second down I see a shake of the head as he gets up and you've got to imagine he's thinking guys you got to help me out he's hoping his team can read his thoughts because he definitely needs some assistance here's Breeze and it's knocked away and incomplete well when the running game's not working sometimes you just got to take a few more chances down the field that's a good effort but it winds up incomplete an incomplete pass on that last play and that means they'll need to come up with something here on third down now [Applause] Breeze that's to the sideline and incomplete I know that we've seen their share of struggles and the quarterback's been hit a few times in this game but this one can't be put on the offensive line they gave plenty of time to throw the football I think ultimately he has to be a lot more decisive in his decision making and get rid of it and find an open Target and here's morstead now as he sends this one away and this one hits at the three and then bouns into the end zone for a Touchback the Titans offense gears up for their first possession of the second half and both of these defenses have been stifling these last few drives offensively just not able to get anything going so what needs to change I think a lot of the guys will go back and review so to speak because everyone has someone assigned to how did each play work okay what what do we use that kind of worked for us during this game try and get back to some of those plays as well as the possibility of showing something you haven't shown already in this game and trying to change things up we'll see if they take the advice of Mr Davis and he's going to get seven out of this before being taken down at the 27 so much goes into a successful play doesn't it how about that play action there freezing the defense just enough to bring the tight end free downfield for the completion operating from the 27 now here's second and [Applause] three from the gun here's Moon he's going deep for brown and that will be incomplete tried to dial up the long one way out there but it'll be third down I like the fact that he took the shot deep down field even if you don't get the catch maybe you get a defensive penalty and pick up the yardage that way so the incomplete pass on the last play and that leads us to a third and three now moon it's a short one here complete to the ti end and I don't think he got there no he's short by maybe a foot maybe call it fourth Ines well it wasn't a big strike but that completion put them in really great range what do we have now fourth and inches yeah it's not more than a half a foot you know what I would do here you would always go for it I'm one of those guys the call for a fair Catch and it's made at about the 23 yd line so possession goes over here on the punt and out will come the offense as they take over on First and 10 here's Breeze this to Graham on the short pass short completion just four yds and it'll be second down they gave up the completion there but this is what zone defenses count on catching the ball and not much run after the catch second down and six Now shotgun now for Breeze going right side here and that's complete and he'll be taken down but not before they work it across Midfield 23 yards the pickup there and with that last play he's now up over that 300 yd Mark and in today's NFL it almost feels routine and I hate that when you talk about a 300 yard passing game to me 300 yards still signifies excellence and he's achieved that in this [Music] performance now a first down carry it's CRA and just no chance of turning the corner he can only get back to the line of scrimmage second and 10 coming up I know the speed is the Hallmark of today's NFL game but the key to good rushing defense is still having your linebackers set the edge officially nothing on that last run they'll try again second and 10 a 10th carry for chamra and he'll get this down only to about the 46 he'll get only three there so it leaves him with a third and seven ahe head he really hasn't been able to get on track running the football averaging less than four yards a carry yeah I think that they're going to enjoy the film session because all the Defenders are filling their proper gaps on just about every play and you know what they always say for a defensive coach when I click off this film I better see 11 jerseys in the picture going after the ball carrier throwing there but this pass is going to wind up incomplete oh man for him to be that wide open and drop it sometimes you have just too much time on your hands right you end up thinking way too much and your hands get shaky and yes he's a tight end but that's a catch he should have made here's Thomas morstead now he's been terrific so far and this will carry out of bounds where are they going to spot it now at about the 18 yd line it looks like here's Tennessee ready to begin this drive offensively the crowd may be losing just a little bit of the edge after back-to-back punts they want some big plays they want to see some offense they want to see somebody break away whether it's through the air or on the ground now it'll be interesting to see where the patience is on both sides each head coach can you hang in there and not try and force something that could put your team in some Jeopardy they'll start this drive out on the ground and he's going to take this ahead for right around three yards but no more than that second down yeah I don't know if it's exactly a win-win but if you're on offense you'll take that kind of a run all right it was kind of stacked up found a little bit of yardage and frankly they're pretty close to staying on schedule on offense The Playbook is still open for the [Applause] coordinator on second down here's moon on target over the middle to Hill and he's going to get seven out of this before being taken down at the 27 they like going to him in the slot he catches another one I think this comes under The Heading of until they stop him why not go back to it he has something going really well great working relationship with the guy throwing the ball and they keep making the connection playaction it's move and going deep for Hill that's going to be knocked away and incomplete they decided the opportunity was there and launched a deep Ball but he was unable to get away from the defender couldn't create space couldn't uncover at the end of the route and that one winds up incomplete on now is the Titans punter as he's on for the fifth time here [Music] today A 47 yd punt maybe a couple on the return and it will be first and 10 as they take over the New Orleans offense set to take over we have not seen much on offense here here from either side these last few drives we've hit a wall so to speak and have hit it hard haven't we because the defenses right now they seem to be a step ahead don't they beating them to the point of attack beating them to the punch these offensive guys they're tinkering like crazy what's it going to take to get back on track yeah both sides searching for adjustments throwing on first down is Breeze targeting Thomas on the out rout making the catch and this will be a game of five as he gets it to the [Applause] 30 ball on the 30 they'll come up with a second and [Applause] five they'll run out of the gun with chamra and he'll get it out near the 40 to the 39 47 yds rushing for him now as he's run it 11 times Brandon I think you and I were both raised the same way in the game of football you run to set up the pass but I think we've discovered in this NFL a lot of teams pass to set up the run and that's what they've done throughout this game they've aired it out thrown it around the yard now they've come back to the running game and they find a way to be successful with it a throw over the middle taken in and he'll be taken down but not before he works it past the 50 it'll be a Saints first down on the pick up of 13 and that last reception puts him over 150 yds now on the game Charles and now it's not just execution it's not just performance it's a mental aspect that's going on because right now he has got the defense so much on their heels got them looking at each other who's going to cover this guy and what type of coverage can we put out there to try and slow him down and now a throw on first down there but it's incomplete he already came through for them on this drive no surprise that they were hoping he could do it [Applause] again an incomplete pass on first down that leads to a second and 10 they'll pound it up the Middle with chamra they do get a couple but they'll be left staring at a third and eight coming up pretty good little two-play sequence there you force the incompletion then a very short pickup yeah now maybe you bring in an extra defensive back or two because you want to try and defend on third down they like to play those nickel subat packages don't they and they'll need the 39 here for a first this is third down here's Breeze to [Music] throw work in the middle of the field and he's got him man complete and he's going to have another first down as the tackle made at the Titans 34 yd line that's a play that'll likely be forgotten when you talk about big moments in this game but plays like this are critical to keep drives going and if points result we'll call this play significant from the 34 now here's first and [Music] 10 now Breeze and he will find his man on the end route complete so give him five yards there on the pitch and catch and that's going to bring up second down they'll fake it on the Jet Sweep and instead a hand off up the middle and that one blown up quickly as he's going to be stopped before he could even get started it'll be a loss of a full three yards there and it also brings up third down on running plays linemen of course have their assignments that's expected but it's not often you're expecting to see a quarterback blitzing in run support and tackling the runner for a loss working from the gun it's Breeze that is caught and he's going to be taken down right at the 10 yd line with the kind of game he's had so far you had to know that on third down that they would be looking his way and they did for big yardage and a first down I think the defense fell asleep at the switch on that one I would have doubled him tripled him anything to keep the ball out of his hands [Applause] so not quite a first and goal it's first and 10 from the 10 now they'll try and set up the quarterback draw here and they'll lose yardage here they go backwards to the 13 yd line that's going to wind up a loss of a full three yds on first down when a draw works it can be a thing of beauty but when it doesn't oh it can be ugly and in this case loss of yardage ugly that loss of three a rare stumble on a promising Drive here's second and 13 and this will be a Jet Sweep here's Thomas with it oh and this one may need to go back to the drawing board he's going to be swallowed up right away it's a loss of two now third down as a wide out when you take that hand off and you're coming around the edge you're expecting to see nothing but empty space in front of you but if not well than can go south in a hurry and that's exactly what we saw on that play with a [Applause] loss now breze lost the football oh and one of the linemen on the other side has got it and it's a big turnover there on the final play of the quarter so it'll be a change of possession on the turnover when we get back we'll return with more after this break you're watching the NFL on EA Sports back now here live in New Orleans it's the Titans they've got the football they'll be looking to extend their lead here as we begin the fourth [Applause] quarter the Titans offense set to begin 4th quarter the drive they'll be hoping to work a little clock and try to add on to this slim fourth quarter lead but whatever happens on this drive certainly a huge fumble recovery by their defense at this juncture two yds on the pickup there it'll be second and eight well with a fumble he had earlier we we know how key keeping the football is here that fumble earlier probably at the Forefront of his mind just hold on to this thing it's also at the Forefront of the mind of the guys who are trying to get the ball from him and since they've seen him drop it on the ground before they're doing everything possible to have him do it again they need that turnover and he gets this to the 35 good for a gain of five the recipe is pretty simple I think right give your Superstar the ball continue to feed him yeah don't overthink this one right make sure he's touching the football but you're also counting on his intelligence in playing the game as well if it's not there don't force the run just make sure you hang on to the football and keep the clock ticking moon to throw and that is incomplete as a defensive back you have some weapons at your disposal that we don't often talk about and you can read the receiver's eyes you can read his hands and you know that the arrival of the ball is imminent and that allows you to make a play on it and often times knock it away on now is the Titans punter as they're forced to kick for the sixth time today fair catch signal for and taken at about the 15 yd line so a change of possession here on the punt and they will take over first and 10 they'll start out here with the Jet Sweep and that is not fooling anyone he never had a chance to turn the corner there and they'll go backwards right away that's the danger Charles of running plays like this for your wide receiver they can hit big or they can be D yeah you're exactly right about that because if they're forced to try and go around Defenders behind the line of scrimmage sometimes you can give yardage in order to gain it but in this case they gave yardage and didn't get it back a second down pass play there but it's incomplete I think we were both wondering if we were going to see them try and push it deep down field facing a one possession deficit late and they certainly didn't disappoint they gave it an effort the offense on third down they're hitting at just 30% 3 for 10 this is third down and 12 Breeze now to throw he lets it go deep for Al and that will be incomplete well they weren't scared to let it fly but it falls to the ground and brings up fourth down some coaches like to take the shorter more reliable yardage and some they like to go for the big shot no fear in risking a deep ball there but wasn't enough to get him the completion here's Thomas morstead now as he's on to punt for New Orleans he's averaging just under 50 yds a punt as he gets this away and a fair catch called for it made just inside the 35 yd line and here comes Tennessee as they get set to take the field their defense got the stop forc the punt and now you really start to monitor the clock as they nurse this slim lead [Applause] good starting field position for them here as they come up first and 10 at their 35 yd line on the draw this is Campbell this will be stopped about two yd shy of the marker 8yd gain second and two if you can keep getting gains like that Charles with the lead here in the fourth quarter I mean keep running it right no doubt about it but what the offense coordinator has to do is understand and they're going to continue to stack the line of scrimmage what runs do you have in your Arsenal that'll work against a stacked box and continue to move the ball now we've got movement up front I think this is going to be on the [Applause] Titans now after the false start here's second at seven here's Moon he's got Mason complete and a 6yd gain gets him right around the 43 one things you're hoping for when you run drag routes you're able to hit a receiver in stride and he can pick up a lot of yardage after the catch but in this situation the defense was effective able to stop him before he get a good head of steam going they'll try and fight for it here with Campbell and some room to roam now and he's going to get this all the way down inside the 35 well they were in search of a short gain on third down and they wind up naving over 20 yards no doubt those are the types of carries they're looking for here Charles the lead in the fourth quarter this is when coaches that have a reliable running game they breathe a little easier on the sideline yeah they love the idea that they can take the air out of the football at this point of the game that means they're really counting on that offensive line counting on the runners taking care of the football because we got tell you and he's taken down here by the Saints the defense rising to the challenge and setting him back on the sack now that was a passer nightmare the front door totally shut down by the defense so he kept going backwards hoping to find another Avenue of Escape it didn't exist [Applause] now then after the sack it'll be interesting to see what they have planned for second and 23 they'll run up the Middle with Campbell and they only get a yard back there they'll be left with a third down and long run blitz there defensively something we might see more of here in the fourth quarter I think we'll see a lot of it and the difference between that and a pass Blitz pass Blitz you're trying to get to the quarterback you're trying to scheme someone open who will get to the QB and make sure he gets on the ground in a run blitz you're actually trying to cover up gaps trying to cover up holes so they can't run the football and he'll go down here at the 35 yd line it's a gain of 11 but they're still well short it's fourth down they had quite a hole to dig out of there on Third and long not able to get the first but a pretty good size run a really good run but how much confidence do you have in your next play call that you can sell to the head coach let's go get it on fourth down do you really have a play you believe in or you just hopeful and you got to sell it to the big man before it gets caught so after four touchdowns in the game for this offense this time they're forced into taking the three but you did mention four touchdowns right so four out of five not too bad I think that's a pretty good record for them [Applause] suck up now set to kick it off following the made field goal taken at the goal line and ultimately cannot get this out to the 25 yd line as he's dropped at the 23 out is the Saints offense now as they get ready to take over here and the complexion of this one has changed a fair amount that last field goal made it a two-score game so they need to get points out of this drive relatively quickly they start the drive on the ground chamra fights through him and they get him down but not before he takes it across the 40 yd line 64 yards rushing for him in the ball game now on 14 carries we'll definitely see some open running lanes and he's taking advantage of it right now but that shouldn't be a surprise defense has the lead they're playing for the pass first one play has him up past the 40 already and another first and 10 to throw it's Breeze going to throw right side here complete and he'll be taken down but not before he gets into enemy territory another nice gain that's now 30 yds between those last two plays so signs of life and what's been a dormant offense in this second half here's first and 10 throwing now Breeze they'll set up the screen now to chamra a nice little screen they get six on first down as a passer you're always trying to find that open window to throw the ball down field how about this one right in the middle of the field right in the heart of a defense this second and four to throw is Breeze that one two wide and incomplete we just saw another example of really good defensive football which has led to the cushion that they have in this game got to him once again knocked him on the ground forced an incompletion yeah they've set the tone it's one thing to set the tone another to come in here on the road and set the tone now they face a third down and four after that incompletion on second down Breeze going to throw oh there's that man again it's complete and he is going to have a Saints first down they needed four he doubled that he wound up getting eight would it be safe to say that as precise as routes are supposed to be run in the NFL maybe they're not quite as precise in college ball that's accurate yeah and I think we saw a college route in the NFL there just find the soft spot find The Dead Zone and find the first down and that's what he just did Breeze now on first down and his throw is going to be incomplete well a momentary speed bump there with that throw partner the defense had other ideas and they're trying to mount a small stand before this drive reaches the end zone second and 10 now Breeze they'll get this out to chamra that helps the completion percentage but not much else and now it's third and 10 that's a nice job defensively to make sure everyone was accounted for because ordinarily you pick up the guys down field and sometimes you forget about the running back in this case they did not and dropped him for No Gain here comes the eighth play of the drive and they need a full 10 yds on third down now a play fake Breeze and he bats it away and it falls down inom complete when you're leading in the final quarter your radar has to be up for any potential deep shots and probably not the last one they're going to see in this game not as long as they hold this lead out now is the field goal unit for New Orleans from the left hash it's an even 50 yd attempt and his kick is good and that'll make this an eight-point game so he remains perfect three for three in the field goal Department is so important for any offense to have an ace like him up their sleeve isn't it because now you know what his range is and as soon as your offense gets there you're pretty much counting on three points going up on the [Applause] board morstead the punter out to kick it off [Applause] and not much happening on the return as he'll get this to about the 23 here's Tennessee ready to begin this drive offensively the field goal we just saw has this now at a ones score game and on this side of the football things are getting pretty tenuous a little stressful blood pressure up a little bit you think I think up a lot of bit H could you imagine taking the pulse right now might be like a jackhammer out there on that side the ball but here's what the deal is I think what we've observed is a team that's been playing not to lose as opposed to nowhere to go here he lost the football and this is picked up by the saint and he's into the end zone a fum return and a saint touchdown so they were down by a touchdown probably just hoping the defense could hold them maybe force the punt instead they force the turnover and take it into the house well the plan was perfect that's exactly what they wanted instead they got a lot more than that big time capitalization by taking the ball away and putting it in the end [Applause] zone a big spot now for the Saints as they'll indeed go for two [Applause] they'll try and run it in and he will get into the end zone for two and this game now tied here in the four still time to work with on the clock but they wanted to tie now and they got it and I love their aggressiveness go ahead and get it done get the game tied now your team has the momentum and you're staring across the field saying let's see if you can match us [Applause] [Applause] now this one setting up for a great finish all tied in the fourth as the kicks away and no effort to bring this one out it's a Touchback and the Titans getting set to go and we essentially have a brand new ball game after that last field goal has tied us all up we brace for what should be an exciting rest of this fourth quarter [Applause] [Applause] a play fake now moon it's a short one here complete to his tight end that'll give him eight that time and it'll be second in a couple when you execute a drag or a Crossing route really well and give him a chance to let it develop a little bit you can gain some significant yards hitting your tight end on that one here's a second and two now from the [Applause] 33 a give running left is Campbell they'll get three as the drive continues it's a first down second and two is prime time for a little bit of a gamble isn't it open up the Playbook go play action toss that bad boy deep but in this situation go ahead and give it to your back let him pick up a first down keep the sticks moving clock running under four to play now as they come up on First and 10 to throw Moon throwing over the middle but it's incomplete I think he could have scanned downfield forever but there wasn't anything available ends up throwing an incompletion and I think he'll take that so now second and 10 after the incompletion on first down they go up the Middle with Campbell room here to run and he's going to take this all the way down to the Saints 29 yd line it's a gain of 35 another carryer for their leader and a good one it's crunch time they'll need him to continue to be productive in both the run and passing game in order for them to try and snatch a victory so now then the big play has him all the way inside the 30 now first and 10 now moon Campbell making the catch and he's going to get a solid gain of nine before being brought down second and right at a yard he's already proven to be a factor in the running game on this drive now he gets involved in the passing game I think what we're seeing here is the modern version of Workhorse in the NFL being able to run it and catch it with equal proficiency and nothing doing he's immediately taken down at the line of scrimmage okay second and one you get nothing what now on Third and one sorry about that I was so excited I jumped in on you this is almost like practice to me line it up and do it again he didn't get it right the first time just get right back on the ball and go it doesn't matter that they know you're coming you ought to be able to pick up this short yardage so the Titans in possession of the football here as we get you reset they've got a third down but they are in field goal range already they'll try to run for the First with Henry and he will have the Titans first down by a couple of yards as they're able to get four there on Third and two but they picked up a little bit of yardage there and now in this situation should be in no hurry to run a play really fast let the clock wind down plenty of time all three timeouts still remain here's first and 10 [Applause] now on the handoff here's Campbell and into the end zone for a Tennessee touchdown a great effort there his second touchdown of the afternoon and the Titans have broken our tie and have taken a fourth quarter lead hey that score deserves our respect deserves our excitement but I'm looking at the clock and I'm thinking there's a long way to go in this one ideally they would have liked to milk a little bit more time off now on the other sideline you start to get the crew together and say this is what we practice the two-minute drill for right yeah you hope you've been in that situation before and if you haven't you just have the confidence hey let's go down there and get this thing done but boy that's a big score right there to give him the advantage [Applause] now it's Ryan suck up on after the touchdown to kick it [Applause] away and he won't quite make it to the 25 so all eyes on the Saints offense down by seven 70 seconds remaining how will this thing pan out we'll watch as they come up on first down now Breeze pass complete Graham and he's brought down getting this one up to about the 35 C there's three time outs left right think you got to use one here don't you no doubt about it I'd use one right here [Applause] all three timeouts still at their disposal here's first and 10 now to throw is Breeze and he's got his man on the out route and he is going to get out of bounds with the first down so that's going to double their pleasure for sure they get the first and save a timeout back to throw Breeze over the middle into the hands of Michael Thomas the Saints going to call the first of their timeouts as the clock will stopped with 34 seconds to go in the game this is first and 10 Breeze to throw and oh that one nearly intercepted that would have sealed it instead it'll be second down well he's smart enough to avoid the taunting rule but I'll guarantee you he quietly has told them you might want to stop coming after me downfield because I just broke up another pass and took away a big shot that you were trying to succeed with he'll look to throw and this time he's got the hook up it's complete and he'll go down here right around the 23 yd line he has been terrific today hasn't he yeah absolutely running Flawless two-minute drill right here this has been quarterbacking 101 with a flourish this is where you step up a big play in this football game third down and one back to throw pass taken in by big tight end and with just inside the 10 seconds to go they'll burn their final timeout 9 seconds [Applause] [Music] left here's first [Music] down back to throw nothing open downfield so he'll throw it away and now time for one final play that has to be obviously in the end zone can't wait to see what they call but you want to get it to your best player sometimes you have to do it by formation move everyone to one side and maybe he gets a one-on-one isolated On The Backs side one final try here for [Applause] Breeze and is incomplete so no Miracles here on the final play and this ball game is over partner what a finish to this one I mean this offense they had it down there inside the Red Zone But ultimately couldn't execute that final snap to find the end zone yeah and they're going to walk away from this one and you know what's going to go through their heads the entire time until they get to play again if we could only have that final snap to do over one more time maybe with a different play call so well that's a Player stats wrap for Charles Davis I'm Brandon gun and this has been a presentation of the NFL on EA Sports for more check us out at easports.com till next time we say so long from the Bayou for
