we are back chronicling the Mayhem that is current Disney Star Wars as you all know the ACO got cancelled after just one season who would have thought that could be possible people have been going insane online because why never mind that the storytelling was terrible never mind that the characters were awful with no logic behind their actions no motivation or rather changing motivation all the time we had fights that could have been good if they actually made sense just looking pretty and cool is not enough they have to be practical fights and they have to make sense anyway it didn't take long for people to blame the bigots and the rightest and the fobes as being responsible for the cancellation of this show is not like they didn't attack the fans they didn't uh call us names because we didn't like a [ __ ] show but we thought this was over you know people had their screaming session online whatever but no amand lenberg returns with a video what is it about I don't know cuz I thought I'd just go ahead and react to it but the title is it all Amanda Stenberg posted a video talking about their appreciation for the fans of the acolyte rain Roberts and Leslie hman they they they who's they oh yeah cuz uh she identifies as non-binary which does not make sense but whatever uh sh sheds light on the outright Pig Tre and racism that has been ramp up from when the show was announced to today anyway let's watch this um however uh I I'm G to put this faster because the all right if you can't keep up not my fault okay okay hello I um I thought I would get on here and just speak candidly I ha doing this if you hate doing it don't do it also what I really hate this video where they are combing their hair or putting on makeup like what is this I hate doing this but I'm going to do it um I honestly I don't use social media very much anymore um and I'm so the few times she did were a disaster happy about that um but there are many folks out there that I want to acknowledge and I want to show appreciation and love and support for so that's why I'm helping on here to talk about this um which is that our show our Star Wars show has been cancelled and I'm going to say I'm going be transparent and say that it's not a huge shock for me of course I live in the bubble of my own reality but for those who aren't aware there's been uh a well at least she admitted that she lives in the bubble of her own reality and yes that's true because she believes that everything that happens to her is because other people are racist and misogynistic or whatever when that's not the case like nobody cares about uh what your skin color is is what you identify as nobody freaking cares you came out attacked the fans you know this dist track which I can't play cuz they're always striking people but what is this like attacking the fans from the GetGo like that did not endear you to people Rampage of vitrio that we have faced since the show was even announced when it was still just a concept and no one had even seen it uh that's when started experiencing a rampage of um I would say hyper conservative uh hyper conservative what does what does that have to do with anything also you do realize that the whole world watches Star Wars right not just the USA so stop assigning these political sites to the whole world where every country has completely different values and differences and where the terms Left Right conservative liberal whatever they all have different meanings in every single uh culture there might be a bit of similarities but there's still differences bigotry and Prejudice hatred and Prejudice hateful language towards us hateful language hateful language hateful language let's see some of the hateful language that they have seriously though like we get called toxic constantly look at these tweets man oh [ __ ] Lucas found [ __ ] Disney [ __ ] everyone that decided that canceling the acolyte was a good idea I hope you all fall and get a hip injury wow you want man the fans of the acolyte want uh people who didn't like it to get injured a hip injury what this one says of course they don't the racists bigoted and toxic but this isn't about me so it's garbage Star Wars dude Bros have won again all right all right right first of all first of all how sexist and misogynistic is it to think that only dud Bros like Star Wars or rather don't like this new Star Wars Disney Star Wars garbage so now I'm a dude bro apparently also this isn't about me so it's garbage that's that's the acolyte audience like we don't care if we have R presentation or if somebody looks like ass or has the same bits and pieces we genuinely do not care all let's continue with the video and you know this really affected me when I first got the job um because it's just not something even though I anticipated it happening it's not something you can fully understand what it feels like until it's happening to you um however uh I feel like I've kind of moved through those feelings in various ways including being vocal about it myself um for me it just became a situation where there was no option but for me to uh honor my sense of ethics and my belief system and my value system while being in this very unique position uh what exactly are your ethics and belief systems the first thing you did when you had criticism was a dist track it was kind of like I had this very unique experience of uh experiencing The World At Large which is of course hyperd divisive right now um yes and it's people like uh amandela and people like Mark Hamill and people like U everybody at Star Wars Lucas film Disney Star Wars whatever who fired Gina corano who make it divisive because they are the ones that are drawing the lines in sand if you cross it then oh my God that is a problem through the lens of this very very unique opportunity of being in Star Wars and it brought up a lot for me a lot um social political Dynamics a lot about my own value system how I respond to that kind of hatred how World At Large and it just became inarguable for me at a certain point that in order to uh continue to be myself I would have to honor my value system by being vocal even within the cont you already said that working for Disney and and working um within the large I can't within the large massive IP that is Star Wars um on that topic I just have to say it has been an incredible honor and dream for me to be in this universe um it still feels even though of course I'm very sad about the show being cancelled um and I'm sad about us not being able to give people who are invested into it more because they'll just feel a lot of levity and joy around the fact that it that I got to experience it um and that people nobody's sticking away that you had you know you played a part in one of the biggest IPS nobody's taking away that you had fun that you liked it but you are the one who started attacking people after they uh voiced their displeasure unless you are the only person allowed an opinion if she had say silent then nobody would car like look at Manny henu a lot of people actually liked his character he's a very good actor the story was just [ __ ] but he hasn't attacked the fans yet hopefully that will stay true so nobody has a beef with him but you did an awful let's remember an awful diss track and you're not allowed to get criticism for it people loved it and that people were so responsive I poured through a lot of different iterations of fan art and ship art and fan theories and that were just so beautiful and filled my heart with joy and I just want to let those people know out there who supported us in that way um and supported us vocally despite and in the face of all of the vital that we received and the kind of the targeted attack I would say we received by the altright um just the old right the old right that you were deeply loved and appreciated and now here's the thing is there a a group of fans that liked the acolyte yes nobody's saying there's not there just weren't enough why was the show cancelled due to low viewership viewership Dove after episode 2 a lot of people tuned into the first one because even though a lot of people [ __ ] on it before it started there was still this hope that hey maybe this will be interesting so a lot of people tuned in to the first episode the first episode was trash first few episode of the Alo were not very good uhhuh it made this job all the worthwhile for me and it made all the challenging elements of it completely worthwhile for me um and so that's plus my love of sci-fi and fantasy and being able to be a part of the legacy of something that I so um deeply um value and something that means so much to me and I've looked up to for so long so no again loving what you do is that bad no happy for you that you liked what you did that you appreciated your fans not happy that you attacked the people that just didn't like the story I also just want to say thank you to lucasfilm um for just being a [ __ ] awesome team they were so wonderful to work with and uh uh just everybody that I worked with in Lucas film but particularly R Roberts my producer was just uh had such like vision and hope and and uh and like such a mission for what we were going to continue bringing into the Sci-Fi Universe into the Star Wars universe and it was a really beautiful energizing life-changing experience to be aart and and I have to thank Leslie hland who just I just [ __ ] love that [ __ ] harby wi's formal personal assistant let's not forget that she friend she's just one of the best people in the world I think she so and unique and kind um and I I'll love her forever uh and I will I love this experience with her forever um but at the end of the day I also just want to thank everybody who watched it thank you for being so loving and supportive and excited and and awesome and um I'll continue to process this for a long time but maybe the last thing I want to say on the subject is that we all exist in context of tre with but I'm serious um it's not lost on me how the way these events have unfolded is also due to uh the hyper divisiveness of the time that we live in that is driven I would say at this point by Echo chambers of thought and and algorithms that reinforce our biases and I think that applies to everybody but I think that in a particular sect of people it manifests has a lot of fear for what is changing and a lot of hatred for anything that is other and fear for what bad storytelling and hatred for what bad stories this is our problem we don't like bad stories I would challenge us all and challenge myself to continue questioning what it is that I digest um and think critically about what shapes it and uh to people who didn't like it quite the contrary they made a show from top to bottom specifically for these weirdos with look at there it is pronouns and bio from this weirdo this show from the beginning to the end from every piece of marketing from every piece of casting from the lack of character development because we know weirdos like this don't like character development y zero character development aspect of this show was catered to these people and it failed miserably why it's not because they didn't watch it oh the weirdos watched it the weirdos were all in the reason it failed is because there's not a lot of those weirdos compared to the normal Star Wars fan they yep and they made remember that they made this video of there are more of us which I cannot not find anywhere so it probably got deleted I like this meme right don't like it don't watch it B all right fine we won't watch it the ACT cancel because nobody watch it why would pick up the star war F do that so if there are more of you then why was this the lowest Star Wars show with the lowest viewership let's take a look uh personal heartful series of story share on Instagram open about the intense
