hey guys so I never saw Another Cinderella Story I did however really enjoy the first one with uh Hillary Duff now I know this is technically only a sequel in name in the sense that it has a whole new be worth it he could have been a little bit more direct and straight to the point but um he got there my lecture was so good I think yeah it was good it was just a kind of long you could shorten it next time mve you a little bit yeah little bit more concise I'm watching my doctor feel oh good I like that she's giving him notes they're just that's good I feel like they might actually make each other better you know as people which is kind of a goal in a relationship right you know you support each other grow together all that stuff felt bad about you not getting your audition so we hooked you up by bringing me to Joey's competition yeah um this isn't about the competition he me you're going to get an audition at the competition what's happening I told you I'm done dancing trust me while you contemplate the most important moment of your life I'm running late okay I don't know about most important moment of her life but an important moment in her life sure I'll go for a second just a second awesome this could change her career in the future assuming she wants to be a professional dancer I've heard that that um you're pretty likely to get screwed over financially as a dancer any dancers in the audience want to clear this up for me is it actually like hard or easy to make money as a dancer I assume it's really hard a lot of creative Fields especially ones that are often used to highlight other creative fields those people usually don't get paid much in fact a lot of people in the creative Industries just don't get paid well but yeah I assume dancers don't get paid well so I don't know let me know get down go go sweet Roots Blondie now grandpa up up what the [ __ ] forcing people to move I can't believe people are actually doing it hey what yall doing tonight you know it makes sense that he's hosting this event Tammy why don't you just sit down I'm going to hang back for little bit Joey yeah the funk makes sense as a a host of pretty much anything he's got great energy want to go back to calling him Cupid though these dancers are going to be judged on individuality skill and style judges for my record label pick a winner and that winner is going to get to dance with me and Dominique how are you do you have to tell them who you are are you not a pop star or I guess was a pop star is whatever Make some noise from DJ kick so just some randoms oh we're going to be break dancing in the mid 2000s sure I guess break dancing did kind of have a bit of a comeback around this time didn't it goes by the name of Taylor he's going to give you guys a little Swan Lake action oh okay well I like the way of variety I don't um don't see how this would win you the competition it seems kind of like off genre hip hop dancing let's hear it they're poisoning the minds of our children but that is something you know I kind of wish that the dancers had better music goes by the name of Brey black she's doing who knows what okay I love the complete lack of hype he knows exactly what's coming something weird and yes this is weird as [ __ ] oh golden oh also can't dance kind of appreciate they've got got Whi it by dvo in the background though did you guys see that that was just terrible oh rough okay that's a little unprofessional but I still get it our last dancer of the night all right for natala bar Mak [Applause] some uh so what's this interpretive dance you're here what are you waiting [Music] for kind of also ballet I guess again seems a little bit off genre but I guess it depends on what you want to do like sometimes doing cross genre stuff having a ballet dance in like a pop song or a metal song even I've seen that it's kind of cool but yeah you really got to do it right you know uhhuh getting hyped for Mary Mary you going to do it well of course she's going to do it it'd be kind of weird if she didn't get up on stage for the big moment are we not in the third Act getting hot here just go ahead and decide who the winner is oh you going to play the crowd you guys want some more oh you want an onore okay we have one little special number for you guys just quickly I know that what he just did there seemed like a pretty obvious fake out misdirect but that is a great way to like work with the audience like instead of just being like hey guys we're going to play another song for you actually get them to want another song be like I don't know we might not have anym do you want more like that kind of energy or that kind of vibe that was a great way to get the the crowd hyped up for One More Dance I love it w believe it which by the way I I actually think the role of host at an event like this is pretty underrated cuz you you don't realize how much it's actually necessary until you have an event that's like there's no host and it's like poorly put together and the bands or artists on stage just aren't actually that interesting and the whole thing falls apart you're like oh this is why there's a host and all of these other things I'm not saying the host is the only thing that makes the show of course it's not it's one of those elements that can really bring a whole event together like um Like Glue you know and yeah of course the funk can dance that makes sense I'm just messing with you I'm just goofing you know cuz he's a best friend of a dancer and he's got confidence and he's used to being on stage there's a few reasons you know what I mean okay sure feels like a bit of a Michael Jackson move but that's cool cop what you can from the best right wow hey baby a I kind of like that they're just together now Jud so this is cool but I thought we were getting to Mary as the final dancer it'd be kind of weird if she ends up dancing after this hold on hold on hold on oh that that's what they're doing he's going to stop the whole show and be like we have one more dancer I want this to be perfect okay it's not going to be perfect until I have someone special oh she's going to join for this performance oh okay that's all right I'm kind of cool with that Mar are you out there and they kind of practice together so it's not like she's going to be fully out of her element anything like that Mary you here I know you're here yeah she was where'd she go she was right here no did she just go for outfit change please tell me she went she went to do an outfit change or me and I maybe she just took a quick break she's like no no I'm coming back Mary Mary okay oh this is this is rough honestly Mary if you just bailed because of uncom aess or whatever this is only going to get more awkward now the entire like room is calling for you there she is you're actually trying to bail no oh man hey guys just a heads up I had a little mic issue towards the end of this movie and I had to film the end of it just this last 10 minutes on a different day honestly I don't think it makes that much difference but I thought i' let you know anyway dance with me no thanks brutal dude well maybe I'm wrong but you're the most amazing dance partner I've ever had how many dance Apartments have you had even though I taught her everything she knows did you that's funny you said you forgot why you even started dancing until you met me yeah I mean honestly she was already a pretty good dancer when you met her what are you talking about man so why don't you bring yourself up here and show me why I remember do it bring yes was it a little boy band move like [Music] this yeah I'm going to say it was exactly like that that was cute what was it that was you you don't recognize your own moves man you need some help with that move like you could have done it any better sweetheart I invented that move oh yeah and N you didn't recognize it prove it let's see you keep it real n I'm kidding I'm sure he probably did recognize it he's just trying to play like it's not good enough to to be the same or whatever you know what I mean [Applause] yeah totally oh yeah well let's see you top this give [Music] dance is this like a Justin Timber leg song or something like if this is an actual song it just sounds familiar but I don't know someone let me know I still don't know what this PYT stands for I've been trying to listen for it watch well we do I think I'm just getting tripped up cuz Michael Jackson had that song PYT pretty young thing you know what I [Applause] mean a getting a hug from the other performers hey thank you I'll be back in five short minutes with the name of our winner you're amazing fantastic show man no no there's there's nothing going on between me and Natalia okay I was I was set up by your step sisters yeah I feel like you never really explained this particularly well I would never hurt you like that and no matter what they do we were meant to be together okay I believe you good cuz I am totally kissable oh we have a verdict everybody that came out tonight all of you dancers you were amazing but there can only be one winner there can be only one I can never hear that without thinking Highlander there can be only one the winner of the competition Mary Santiago everybody Give It Up feels weird man I know she's supposed to win feels weird yay big winner it's fixed what you rig it Mary [Music] yes she's dating the competition Host this isn't fair I deserve this award but you were really good Mary yay now I'm joking about the rigging thing you know that yeah messing with you those moves were so redonkulous Mary I think you got your Swagger back and you have humiliated us in front of the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area probably more like a few hundred people but okay my name is Regina criticos the Manhattan Academy you got to love Jane dance spectacularly well for someone with two broken legs I know right it's crazy what do you mean two broken legs but don't you remember when you broke both your legs the other day girls come with me oh man I just love how she acted that how how she acts a lot of things you know we would be honored if you would come study with us I seem to have broken things what things the nearby chair call me every day okay I need my meds Bronto oh what she broke both her legs falling off that stage I need my morphine oh my God no oh good he they're not broken a little help here please would you like kind of twist your ankles I don't work for you anymore are we bff or isn't that what the kids say yes it is don't you dare get in that van Mary don't leave me with these people your family don't leave you with your daughters I'm feeling [Laughter] abandoned oh that's great everybody tell make F that was fun I'm not going to pretend that it was as good as the first Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff because I enjoyed that a lot I actually thought that was a really good movie this is um it's fun I'm not going to call it a good movie but it was fun I enjoyed it Jay Lynch is always a highlight I think well not always but in the majority of the things I've seen around I've enjoyed Jane Lynch a lot so that was great yeah fun movie moving forward guys I can't say that I'm going to be super consistent with posting on this channel because moving forward my main focus will be on the Sam and Maria Channel making videos with my girlfriend Maria but I do want to post here as often as I can which I don't know how often that is right now so I'm going to just film some videos try to figure out what kind of Rhythm I can get into and I guess we'll figure it out as we go so I hope you want to check those out and that maybe I'll see you next time
