hasn't hasn't had a a dual threat quarterback um since the days of uh Daman ter and Messiah De Weaver the chosen ones were you ever like big on those guys you ever think they were going to be good I love deer as a recruit it was very apparent once he got to school that there was nothing there so I I I kind of correctly course corrected Damen Terry uh much like I was last year with like all these guys stink stop with the Kon Hower nonsense that's how I was with Damon Damen Terry like this guy is not good enough for this got you yeah but look I love that energy I love the confidence out of the quarterback um and honestly like you know obviously you want Aiden Charles to be really good um but when games aren't going on like I want him to say the right things and carry himself the right way and do the right things uh in the off season um and if you could win an offseason I feel like Aiden Charles has been able to do that so you know I I love the energy anytime I can get my quarterback talking about overs that that's good energy like if the defense was out there we were talking to like the middle linebacker or something like that I'd want want them to say something about the under possibly so I love it okay lot of things for me on this quickly in general I love Aiden Charles I love Aidan Chiles like I I am more excited to watch Aiden Charles than any Michigan State player in probably seven years on the football field I love this guy I I just like him he's very fun he's very rootable I think he's a great player talent-wise based on everything that I have seen he's he's confident we got to give him that right like this is now the second quote in the last month like he had the whole thing where you know yeah I mean I I gotta believe I'm the best player in the Big 10 I'm I'm the best quarterback here like and I get that that was taken a little out of context and if you listen to the full quote it wasn't actually him being a huge confident [ __ ] but like this guy doesn't exactly shy away from saying the headline clips of like I'm the best we're gonna score like now if he's good that's so fun and this is incredible and the fact that he was voted a captain seems to indicate that Michigan State football thinks he's really good is there any part of you at all that fears a little bit of like can we see you play a game first this is there is a lot of stack in the deck on the front end verbally right now and I I don't I'm I'm not saying it's going to happen I think Aiden Charles is really good but this is the same old final four logos in the weit room energy to me like at some point can we just do something good before we're talking Bethy over like and I like it I like the confidence but there's not a lot of other schools and quarterbacks running around making headlines like this and if this guy's not really really good coming off the season that last year was with honestly a team that I still think is pretty Talent deficient right now like Aiden child could be awesome and this team could still struggle and he talking about be the overs so like is there any part of you that is just a little like could we dial it in until we know we're good or or do you love this no uh because all I'm saying now is back it up like if you're G to talk that you got to back it up right that's that's just sort of where I'm at like I love it it's really entertaining but oh boy have you set yourself up for the opposite side of this if this doesn't go well oh that's very true but I think it's gonna go well I do too yeah just a little like you're gonna
