really give you a shot of momentum on Third and long doesn't need to take the check down and the heat gets there and they get him down at the 14 yd line and that's what you're trying to do not just in this game but for the season you're just trying to set the tone defensively and they do that getting the sack they feel good about their front seven and all the athletes they have it'll be fun to watch this unit for the rest of this game and see how they do in one-on-one situations so kenesa State's offense will go to work for the first time today one thing to keep an eye on in this game when they get a back isolated on a linebacker who wins that matchup a quarterback likes the matchup but this linebacker he's different man not only is he a hitter he's got the athleticism to cover people too normally you say that's a win for the running back running back on a linebacker I win but this guy is different interested to watch this match up kenas state right back to [Applause] work looking downfield it's Kendricks it's complete to the left the defense wouldn't let him lose there and it was a completion but they lost yardage on third down going up top and the defense gets to the quarterback kesas state will have to punt this one away doesn't say much for your drive when you're looking forward to the punt he'll call for the fair catch here first play of this drive comes from the 14 yd line off play action on first down he turns that loose down the right side second and 10 here brings up second down he's looking to throw caught on the outside it's B and he goes out of bounds after a nice pick up on that one third trying to move the sticks on third down through the air The Freshman able to get home with the sack a they bring the punter onto the field now three and out and not much choice but to get rid of the ball boy that seemed to be prime return territory but instead he'll set the offense up with great field position going to run it it's Delarosa a seven yd pickup it'll be second and three after the good pickup on first down let's see if they keep it on the ground he wants to throw here on second down pulls it in he steps out of bounds but it will be enough for a first down offense lining up [Applause] quickly here's the hand off and the defense stops him just short of the first down maybe needed a few more chain links to move the steps [Applause] [Music] [Applause] they go right back to him tackle is made after the first down this kenesa state offense is on the Move first the off from the gun the ground game made a little something out of that run he picked up a couple down to the 14 operating in the Red Zone here on second [Applause] down he'll try the right side it's hard to run on a defense that comes off the ball like that and runs to the football right good luck no holes anyway on Third and long trying to have a big completion here fires a b and now it's picked off bringing it back and they capitalized not only on the pick but the great return to give the offense tremendous field position and that's just excellent cover man cover one nowhere to throw the football look at everybody playing man across the board you still got the safety in the middle of the field nobody open and if I'm the QB man I don't need to force it I I Don't Force It In The Tight Windows if it's not there he throws it unfortunately gets the interception bad decision by the QB there offense making its way under the field to start the drive he Wast no time and comes out throwing can't hang on and he'll tell you he really should have made that catch and he had an opportunity right in the middle it'll be second down back to throw it's small works the middle he's brought down solid pickup but a little bit short of the first down third down coming up after that completion motion from the offense on Third and short the power run here now they're really starting to threaten as they pick up their first down at the 34 yd line he wants to throw just a short pass to the tight end really good concept there to get things going and use the tight end early yeah I mean just such a great job on first down setting up an easier second down understanding I don't always have to push the ball down the field but see the tight end make the throw no it's not a big game that makes life really easy on me on second down they've moved it to the 19 first and 10 with he's looking to throw it makes the catch makes the grab and steps into the end zone for the touchdown and this offense gets on the board and the first passing touchdown of the season and I feel pretty confident saying the first of many this offense looks like they're in a good Rhythm and this passing attack is going to be hard to stop lining up to tack one more onto that [Music] lead and the
