been on Hunger Strike now for 21 days could I just re correct you I am retired I all right okay you don't you don't still restore rolls-royces you're drinking water though aren't you I'm drinking water and taking the necessary vitamins that have beened to take yeah yeah now you're going to stay on hunger strike until when I'm going to stay on hunger strike until the government see common sense because that is what they seem to lack and when you say Common Sense what do you want them to do I want them to stop these boats coming in illegally and I want them if possible to turn the bats about if somebody's coming into this country without a passport and without documentation there's something wrong is that all you want or are you wanting other things too no James I also want the winter fuel supplement returning to the old age pensioners no questions asked that is it that was disgusting the man made promises before the election yeah he hasn't he he hasn't honored the promises that I made he lied my way of looking he you know it's it's right and it's wrong and he is truly wrong in what he's doing so the chances are that he probably won't take any notice of this or you um and are you prepared to go on until you die I mean you are 78 years old and I mean I know I'm not far behind you but it's a it's a Time when perhaps the body is not as as good at taking the sort of strain have a chat I would love to I would love to come down I met benab uh also while I was there on Wednesday and I spoke with him and he tried to persuade me and I said to him I said there's not much point in me doing it Ben if if you can persuade me is that that's why and I just feel so strongly about they're going going about it wrong we can stop these people quite easily Paul they're not going to do I mean stopping people coming here seems to be something that politicians of all political Persuasions are really trying to pretend isn't happening uh yet we're spending billions on it um getting the labor party to realize they've made a complete idiot of themselves with the winter fuel allowance is really probably not going to happen um and various other things that might reversed because there's a lot of pressure now on the wi well there is but you know you know the more publicity Paul you get the more that people are going to say well hang on you know here's Paul he 78 do you struggle with your bills do you struggle putting the heating on yeah the winter we did we do well there you go we don't I'm not lying to you now I've got ,200 in my savings and that's the gospel truth that's not even a Year's heating more money I have no more money I don't have a hidden cash to play out like that I have nothing but I cannot leave this country in the state it is in with these uh islamist people that are going around killing people we we have to stop this it's not a joke it's not going to get any better Pauline stop it this must be very stressful on you yes it is very cancer oh dear I'm so sorry 40 and last year yeah last year September our other daughter who's 55 she's got stage stage and you've got grandchildren presum youve got grandchildren as well grandchildren we've got great grandchilden we got tonight um babysitting for her she's wandering around it's about their Futures isn't it really and it's all about their Futures we've had ours we've had our and we've worked hard like could say we've been married 57 years that's i' like sentences if him and got married again you get less for murder the way they do these sentences noways so but Paul is very I'm not happy I love him but I love my family I don't want to die he doesn't want to die he just wants some recognition that somebody is going to do something he's not a mad man he's not a mad man all no definitely not no please stay alive as long as you can yeah man we will do you know and I am so sorry to hear about your family as well you know people people say say to me oh I'm so sorry James you have cancer but I've had I've had it for four years I had it 25 years ago I'm not being Blas about it I know that it will get me this time um and a lot of people say I wish it would get you sooner I know but tough keeping me going but I just add one thing y course you can just add one thing my daughter that died 12 years ago Tina she didn't actually she had cancer for 19 years yeah she didn't die of cancer she died because she got nonin lymphoma and the became infected they made a mask to cover her chest up and ahead they bombarded it with radiotherapy and teen died of heart failure I'm so sorry was not big enough I am so so sorry that is just so terrible so the NHS failed then is that no no no no I had listen I had a similar preparation on my brain and people probably said oh that's why you like you are but I had a similar preparation on my brain and it because I was seeing double and had terrible headaches and everything else and it worked but it doesn't work for everybody but what you saying the problem was with your daughter then let's not go back over that they explained it you weren't listening I think the problem is that there are so many people now tied up with so many things and so much worrying people that we are getting to a situation where we can't in the words of the great song we can't see clearly now and that's what has to happen but what I'm worried about is that politicians although they've changed their mind about everything this current government about the unions they've gone back and said you can have whatever you want more or less um I think they're going to get very very many complaints about the winter fuel allowance and maybe you could promise me this Paul yes if they restore the winter fuel allowance maybe then you could give up for a while I would give up I would give up if they can get our winter fuel allowance back on for the people because it's it's sad that they have to take it out on old people we haven't got second homes to heat like the houses of Parliament have every single one of them seem to have a second home you know and they're getting two bites at the Cherry and we don't even get a look at the Cherry yeah do we no I agree I agree what's the first thing you will eat when you break your hunger strike what's the first thing you will e first you when you break rerri I will go on the Ukraine trench diet yeah which is a bowl of vegetable soup and potato cakes it's got to be simple isn't it and a black black pool Rock a stick of black pool rock that sounds very very inviting at the moment
