THAT'S WEST. CONGRATULATIONS, BEN TAYLOR. HEY GUYS. SCOTT RYSER LIVE OUT HERE AND WE HAVE JEFF DUBROF LIVE AT ANKENY. WE HAVE TEAM COVERAGE FOR TWO GAMES OF THE WEEK AND WE'RE GOING TO START RIGHT HERE, THOUGH, AT SOUTHEAST POLK HIGH SCHOOL. YOU SEE THE RAMS WARM IT UP BEHIND ME. HERE THEY ARE TAKING ON A REALLY GOOD VALLEY TEAM. VALLEY COMING IN WITH A LOT OF TALENT. WE'LL GET THAT TO YOU IN A MINUTE. BUT FIRST SOUTHEAST POLK MAN WHAT MORE CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THIS. RAMS SQUAD. THREE STRAIGHT STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN LAST YEAR. AS YOU LOOK AT THE VIDEO OF THE SEMIFINALS A YEAR AGO THEY WERE CERTAINLY CHALLENGED IN THAT SEMIFINAL WHEN VALLEY FORCED OVERTIME WITH A LATE JAYDEN MCGREGOR TOUCHDOWN. ULTIMATELY OF COURSE, SOUTHEAST POLK WON WENT ON TO WIN THEIR THIRD STRAIGHT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. THEY'RE ON A 22 GAME WINNING STREAK. THEY'VE LOST TWO GAMES OVER THE LAST THREE SEASONS, AND COACH BRAD ZELENOVIC HAS A CULTURE THAT HE HAS BUILT. BUT YOU KNOW, WE TALK ABOUT WHAT IS THE STANDARD EVERY SINGLE DAY. AND WE WENT BACK TO WORK IN JANUARY WITH OUR OFF SEASON TRAINING, AND OUR KIDS HAVE BOUGHT IN AND SO HOPEFULLY THEY'RE PROUD TO PLAY IN THIS PROGRAM. THAT'S A BIG DEAL TO US IS THE FACT THAT THE STANDARD HAS BEEN SET OVER MANY YEARS. AND THERE, YOU KNOW, IT'S THEIR TURN NOW TO LEAVE THEIR LEGACY. TAKE A LOOK AT THESE VALLEY PLAYERS TO KEEP AN EYE ON, BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING TO BE TOUGH TO BEAT TONIGHT. SENIOR WIDEOUT ZAY ROBINSON MISSED HIS JUNIOR YEAR WITH AN INJURY. HE'S BACK. JADEN MCGREGORY, RUNNING BACK DARIUS MASON AUSTIN WITH THE BALL ALSO, QUARTERBACK DRAKE DEGROAT IS BACK WIDE RECEIVER JAYDEN BROWN ANOTHER ONE TO KEEP AN EYE ON. COACH GARY SWENSON TOLD ME HE WISHES HE HAD MORE THAN ONE BALL ON ANY GIVEN PLAY BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY PLAYMAKERS. THE DEFENDING THREE TIME STATE CHAMPS AGAINST AN UP AND COMING VALLEY TEAM. WE CANNOT WAIT OUR OTHER GAME OF THE WEEKEND ANKENY. HERE'S JEFF DUBROF JEFF. YEAH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, SCOTT. THAT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT GAME THERE. WE HAVE A GAME THAT COULD RIVAL THAT. IT'S A RIVALRY. ANKENY AND ANKENY CENTENNIAL GAME THAT ONLY ROLLS AROUND OF COURSE ONCE A YEAR. BOTH THESE TEAMS HAVE JUST ALL SUMMER LONG TO THINK ABOUT THIS. THE GRUELING WORKOUTS LEADS TO THIS. THE COMMUNITY OF ANKENY DIVIDED AS THE TWO SCHOOLS BATTLE. IT OUT. WE SPOKE ABOUT CENTENNIAL AT 5 P.M. THIS IS A CHANCE FOR REVENGE FOR THE JAGS THEY LOST TO ANKENY TWICE LAST SEASON. ONE OF THOSE GAMES WAS IN THE STATE SEMIFINAL. LET'S SHIFT TO ANKENY THOUGH. IN PARTICULAR, ONE OF THE NEWCOMERS ON THE TEAM, CARSON BERNHART. GET THIS BERNE HOLTZ IS A SENIOR AT ANKENY, 18 YEARS OLD. AND THIS IS HIS FIRST YEAR PLAYING FOOTBALL IN HIGH SCHOOL. HE SAID AFTER HE TALKED TO HIS PARENTS, THEY ALLOWED HIM TO PLAY AFTER NOT AND THE WORD ON THE STREET IS, DESPITE IT BEING HIS FIRST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL, THIS DUDE IS A MONSTER. BUT TALK ABOUT BEING THROWN INTO THE FIRE RIGHT AWAY. YOUR FIRST GAME, PERHAPS THE BIGGEST RIVALRY IN THE STATE. I KNOW IT'S ANKENY ANKENY GAME, SO YOU KNOW, JUST KIND OF KIND OF GOT TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND FOCUS ON MYSELF AND DO MY JOB. REALLY NERVOUS. I'VE BEEN NERVOUS SINCE EVER SINCE I WENT OUT BECAUSE I KNEW, YOU KNOW, THAT FRIDAY NIGHT'S GOING TO BE BIG. IT'S GOING TO BE REALLY BIG. HE'S I DON'T KNOW. HE'S ONE OF THE BIGGEST GUYS ON THE TEAM, WHICH IS CRAZY BECAUSE HE USED TO ONLY PLAY BASEBALL. HE WAS DEFINITELY A HOT TOPIC ONCE. LIKE THE COACHES HERE. THEY DEFINITELY WANTED TO GET HIM OUT. YEAH, SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS GAME. OF COURSE A 7:00 KICKOFF HERE FROM ANKENY CITY STADIUM. BLANK SLATE ASPIRATIONS ARE HIGH FOR ALL THE TEAMS IN
