for welcome to Lexington where the sun shines bright literally and figuratively on their Old Kentucky Home and the Big Blue Nation ready to get behind these wild cats in this one today two teams Collide in an oldfashioned SEC Showdown as we'll see a team looking for its first win the Auburn Tigers taking on the Kentucky Wild Cats for EA Sports college football I'm ree Davis David poock and Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it [Music] going Auburn will kick off to get us underway he thought about bringing that out for a half second but he'll take a knee and they'll bring it to the 25 the offense set for a first down play he wants to throw finds his man it's Anderson and they pick up just a few on that completion guys this rough start is hardly what they had in mind to start SEC play and it's not going to get any easier well no doubt about it there were big expectations surrounding this program inside SEC play this year and things haven't necessarily gone their way they've had to fight a ton of adversity but David they believe they have the leadership in the locker room to turn it around but it's got to start today yeah one at a time like we got to start today we got to find something we got to find what we're really good at what we can hang our hat on so we can start to build some momentum throughout the season obviously not the start we wanted but we got to point to the next opportunity and here comes the offense on second down quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver that one could really put this drive into high gear as they have a first down at the 3 seven I love that play call and I love the timing of the pre-nap motion because the quarterback was able to get it to the receiver right behind the offensive line because of the timing he was able to outflank the defense that puts him out in space where he's able to use his speed nice job with the pre- snap Motion in T and he's able to find a little bit of Running Room before they get him down well it's plays like that that will help this offense stay in Rhythm all game long if you can have that kind of succcess on first down running the football it just opens up your entire Playbook moving forward to the air it's whims looking deep and he makes the catch inside the 10 touchdown wild caps and once he found some daylight it was time to make a house call this offense is so good man they can hurt you in so many different ways and they do it so quick so explosive they can put small Drives together big Drives together they've really had a great year and that's why they're a top 10 offense lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive bringing it [Applause] back I know he thinks he can house every return but sometimes you just have to take a knee as he stopped at the 14 first down here for the offense he's looking to throw it quickly out to the tight end and the defense had that one well covered just a short game there the Tigers will hustle to the line a nice job by the defense there tackling the catch and smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perfect coverage and nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to do he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down that throw and catch a really good example of why coaches don't want a quarterback to get stuck on a particular Target isn't it David yep it's exactly right find the guy who's open because you got so many guys that have so much speed that can do so much damage on the field find my matchup get it to him let him do the rest and he's able to bounce off one tackle for a solid pickup this running back just doesn't go down easy it's just difficult for defenses to get him on the ground not over huge but if I'm an offensive coordinator I'm going to continue to find ways to feature him and just you know what let his talent do the rest sixy pickup on first down leaves him with second and four looking to throw it's Thorne excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away this defense will try to force a fourth down on Third and short from the 45 from the gun running back gets the give still on his feet at the 45 he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense and it's just got to be nice to have a running back that can make big time plays with his feet first down second down third down right here his opportunity gets the football makes a huge gain he makes this offense go and it makes it so easy to be a play call picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down getting some heat they're setting up the screen he's close to the first down but they're going to Mark him just a little short you know and that's why this guy can play first second or third down you've already seen him earlier in the drive rip off some nice runs but he can catch the football as well they're going to find ways to get him going in all sorts of ways but you're seeing it specifically on this drive and they reacted well to the comple but it was too L to keep him from getting the first down from the Red Zone he's going to throw it quarterback feeling the pressure and down he goes at the 22 and this defense gets the first sack and listen it is so important to hit the QB to affect the QB last week only had two sacks for this defense they got to continue to put pressure and get that guy to the ground they've got a really good drive going but a little speed bump here at second and third he's looking to throw that pass is incomplete and they might be fortunate it wasn't knock free for a fumble it'll be third down they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one on Third and long no secret what he needs here fires a full and now it's picked off taking it the other way and they clows in on him after a good return on the interception this quarterback was having success throwing on the opening drive of the game large part because it's a lot harder to throw on third down when the defense is expecting it like you saw right there they were ready had a really good coverage called and to get the int Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field that last Drive really productive David wound up with a touchdown they'll try to do it again yeah so I don't expect this off defense to change too much Reese they had a great Drive they got the touchdown everything working I would expect them to keep pushing this ball downhill and just imagine if they could put another touchdown on the board right here they could capture so much momentum in this game with back-to-back TDS halfway there on first down it's second and five motion from the offense touch pass on the Rock Russ to the ground after picking up the first down and just went with something very easy very reliable Flip It Forward let your receiver do the rest I only got to get a few yards nice job nice execution first [Applause] down it'll be first and 10 from the 30 here's the hand off he is going nowhere stop at the line of scrimmage that back had absolutely nowhere to run the football actually is he counting I think he's counting to make sure there's only 11 guys on defense they got nothing on the last play it's second and 10 easy wants to throw it's whimet got it set up on the outside still running at the 40 they finally get him stopped but what a good job by that front wall to set up the screen and create some Lan for their running back hey man sometimes you get the perfect play call at the perfect time that time the defense blitzing offensive line allowed everybody to run up field and they slip in the running back screen and behind it there was nobody there to make a tackle and this offense generates a mass time to take a shot ball in the air intercepted got some room to run and they'll drag him down after a good return on on the interception a lot of quarterbacks have so much confidence that they can fit the ball in tight Windows how about the defensive player right here making an unbelievable interception forcing the turnover big play Big momentum swing now here comes that Auburn offense onto the field again boy they had that last Drive moving a little bit David but then the mistake just crushed them yeah and those mistakes are going to happen you're going to throw the football you're going to throw interceptions but I think I stay aggressive with this offense I get back to what I did in the first part of that drive what made me successful I agree David just turn the page if you're a quarterback right on this drive you did a lot of good things there leading up to that pick forget about it move on play the next play on second down he's looking down field takes a hit as he fires he's open on the right he wasn't far from taking it to the house and that'll be the final play of the first quarter [Applause] they'll break the seal on this quarter here on first [Applause] down scanning the field it's Thorne and the pass hit picked off bringing it back and he's wrapped up after a solid return on the pick this is obviously not a great start for this quarterback here two interceptions already in this game he's got to do a much better job with his decision making Kentucky has it back and the big blue offense takes the field after that last pick David they really need to take care of the ball this time no doubt and Palmer I want to know what spur and he's got it inside the 30yd line touchdown Kentucky and once he found open space the band might as well start playing well this offense is top 10 in the country in points per game because they've got a lot of speed and they've got home run hitters they score fast they don't need 10 plays to go down the field you saw it right there they've recruited well they've got Playmakers they're going to be a problem for defenses all year long and the extra point will tack another one on to the this lead and let's check in with Kevin Conor in the studio Kevin guys let's take a look at what's happening in a great college football matchup Memphis is in front they've controlled the line of scrimmage to this point but you take a look at the scoreboard and you see we have ourselves a tight game they're up by a field goal over Charlotte just another week of college football where we've come to expect the unexpected fellas and how about that one Kevin will be keeping an eye on everything going on elsewhere and that's a mistake you don't expect to see from a senior and he is lucky to get it back man this quarterback is living dangerously right now obviously he threw a pick on the last Drive he's trying to complete that throw but the defender gets a hand on it tips it up in the air that's oh no that is an oh no situation they're lucky that one hit the ground tackle is made at the 28 after a pickup of three and the Tigers racing to the line in the hurry up dropping back it's Thorn fires to the middle and that is interception number three on the day and they'll close in on him after a good return on the interception most defenses are lucky if you have one good covering Corner fewer are lucky if you have two they've got three DBS three corners that can play at the same time in their nickel package that they feel can go mono weano with anyone in the country and you saw it on that last play coming away with the Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field off the play fake on first down wants to throw and he'll just get rid of that one there's no getting around the fact that they have really scuffled in the first half of SEC play and now the task is to try to turn it around well and a lot of times it requires shifting your goals and this is is not how you want it to start but how can we win this week and and take advantage of every opportunity we get Jesse so it hasn't been ideal but there's still some talent and you can still salvage some wins on the schedule yeah it's all about finishing the season strong strong right I think this team believes that in this last week they were able to sort of reset their focus on doing exactly that they believe they have the horses in the locker room to win games like this this could be the momentum shift they need [Applause] now down to the 12 yd line it's first down SP quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep and they will score touchdown Kentucky they've extended the lead and taken control here in week D every time we speak to defenses before they play this guy they all know he's going to get the ball thrown his way they always come up with creative and exotic ways to try to cover him in the back again but they're never able to get it done this guy just beats coverage time and time again with that last catch that's now his 15th receiving score of the season and right down the middle almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and no chance at a return here they'll start this drive at their own 25 and Auburn is ready to go back to work on offense they just haven't been able to get anything going and they better get started or it's going to get away from them David yeah and these are the weeks that you really wish that you were playing a video game and you could just reset the console start over Jesse and make something better happen early they just look like they're sleepwalking in this first half and it's not just one guy they they just haven't been playing collectively as a unit and if I'm the head coach I'm considering starting to give some other dudes some chances here Auburn to the line in a hurry looking downfield it's Thorne blasted as he lets it Go makes the grab over the middle and he's knocked down immediately but not before he moves the chains well look that wasn't a touchdown but that was a massive play for this offense they needed some momentum they needed to find a rhythm and what better way than converting on third down awesome job by the quarterback getting can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down doesn't take this defense a lot of time to get to the quarterback man they've got speed all over the place they hit him so quickly and because of that the ball Falls incomplete now on second down after the incompletion he's looking to throw with the catch it's Hunter made a Defender Miss and chunk plays are the name of the game and they get one here before the defense finally makes the stop L ree you and I were talking about this before the game how is this defense going to be able to deal with all the speed they have offensively you saw them just rip off a big play and Jesse now their heads spinning just a little bit give up a big chunk play and it's right back at him got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 he's looking to throw snagged in the middle it's Lewis he's brought down solid pickup but a little bit short of the first down Ball's at the 25 they're in field goal range but they love to convert this third and short they knock him down but not before he picks up a first down for aubert I think to be a good third down offense guys you've got to be able to run the football you're going to come upon these third and short situations multiple times throughout the course of the year but you've got to be able to get push up front and it helps when you have a talent like that to turn around and hand the football off to he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple well there's a statement by the defensive line first down play expecting run and they just dominated up front beat their one on ones and force a tackle for a loss quickly to the tight end he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down well I know the tight end did some good things after the catch but got to give the quarterback credit too for the location of the throw because he put it out in front of his big man he was able to make the catch and accelerate creating some distance there between him and the defense defense rose up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming he'll run it to the right here and try to get it into the end zone and maybe they want to try somewhere else because there is nothing doing in the middle of this defense wants to throw for it on Third and goal caught over the middle it's Fairweather and he dropped a quick spin move on him before being dragged down solid pick up on the [Applause] play it's Fourth and goal and they'll go for the touchdown and keep the kicker on us into the end zone he goes touchdown Tigers theat unit on the [Applause] field and after the extra points they're now down 21-7 that is what they mean when they say ball control a 14-play touchdown drive and they finish it off with a short Plunge Into The End Zone and they desperately wanted to attempt a return but decided not to instead they'll take the Touchback Kentucky has it back and the big blue offense takes the field after standing on the sideline and watching that long touchdown Drive they really need to put something together to give their defense a rest and that's a real thing man like you played a lot of plays you get worn out you need a chance to go decompress on the sideline get some oxygen Palmer now it's on this offense yeah this is the definition of complimentary football cuz it's a two-prong problem you've got to score points and answer but you've also got to take your time and give your defense an opportunity to get their win throws to the wide out and that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact on the play but no Flags it'll be third down if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum the offense will have to use its first timeout of the half now facing a third and long long wide out in motion quarterback flips it ahead quickly to the receiver and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down here's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half Kentucky send out the punting unit the punter going to get his first work of the afternoon gets the first one of the day out of there he ought to be fresh they only used him twice in that Victory last week and you make the Stop and that is exactly what you want out of your punt cover [Applause] unit now here comes that Auburn offense onto the field again running out of time here in the first half and they do have a chance to make this a one possession game and so you got to locate your best players and get them to football on this drive you're down in the game there's obviously a lot of football left David but on this drive in this two-minute situation best players got to touch the ball and this could get into pressing mode right like you go into the half down a couple of scores it starts to the pressure really really mounts good opportunity to take some of that pressure off get some momentum energize this squad going into halftime how about that play to get a hand in there and for the incompletion nothing's working right now in the pass game for this guy this is the nightmare scenario he's already been picked off three times that one got swatted away lucky it wasn't another interception this quarterback is not playing with a ton of confidence the incomplete pass leaves him with second down looking to throw it's Thorne trying to get to him and they couldn't hold off the heat and he goes down with the sack oh that's a missed opportunity you know the quarterback was excited he saw a man coming he thought he was going to have an opportunity to come up with a big play but up front they could not protect him well enough on Third and long a check down would be the last resort pulls it in it's Coleman he's really close to that first down marker but they stop him just a bit short the give on fourth down finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down the Tigers come to the line with a new set of downs these DBS going to give a little cushion no what a move catch open down the middle there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer down to the 16 16 yd line it's first and 10 now from inside the Red Zone catch in the middle it's Hunter works his way to the four yd line and they'll have it first and goal and now a chance not only to cut into the lead but play it just right and maybe the other team doesn't even get a chance to answer and he takes it to the house touchdown Au and that's a nice drive and nice physicality punching it in with the Run game and here's the thing I like where this offense is going nice job creating some momentum going into the half cutting down the lead this thing could get really exciting nice job answering the Bell right before the half you get that touchdown right before the half build the momentum and the last thing you need to do is mess it up by allowing a big kickoff return got it running out of time here in the first half they're going to have to be efficient to put some points on the board before the break's go out of the gun they give to the back now after that run there in pretty good shape at the 30 yd line that's going to wrap up the first half here and now we join Kevin with the halftime update Kentucky will booty deep to get the second half underway coming out with it it's Kane rolling the dice to bring it out of the end zone did not work out as he stopped at the 13 and is ready to go back to work on offense if they're going to get on top in this game they're going to have to find a way to get the running game going in the second half agree so it can create some more balance some more unpredictability I I feel like this defense has got a good beat on what they're doing especially if they don't mix it up a little bit so I do look for a little second half running the football P right of this group and I think the thing Dave is they just got to be more physical I don't think this is a scheme question about trying different run plays I think it's up to the Big Fellas up front they've just got to make the decision that they're going to be tougher here in the second half so that they can win this game takes a hand off it's Hunter sweet cut there and he's got enough for the first down it'll be at the 35 you're down obviously at the half you had a conversation we got to come out and put points on the board and Jesse it looks like they're going to start with the ground game and I love this David too regardless of whether they're losing or they're winning come out here and try to be the most physical unit here in the second half get get this run game established out of the gun the inside K and the defense doing a great job committing to the run when you commit to the run like this obviously you can give up some plays in the passing game but you got to stop the run first they make the stop but not before the screen has hit him for a first down and much more really good execution by this offense great job too by the QB there holding the ball as long as possible allowing the pass rush to get up field and at the very last second getting it to his guide so that he can go get the first down hit hard as he released the ball on that first down pass and it never had a chance after the misconnection it's second down dropping back it's Thorne they'll run the screen on the move at the 30 all kind into Running Room they'll finally put the breaks on him at the three a big throw catch and run on that one phenomenal play call by the offensive coordinator you're calling screen passes to take advantage of a good pass rush and that's exactly what happened the offensive linemen they just let those defensive ends run up the field and he takes it in for the score touchdown OB wow this offense they have a lot of faith in this running back back knowing if they get down into this area of the field he can get it done and he can answer the Bell two rushing touchdowns already for this offense getting set for the point after and after that extra point we have a tie ball game in the third quarter let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Connor Kevin what do you got Phil is a very interesting scene playing out right now in this Marquee top 25 matchup Kansas State needs to pick up the pace but this puppy is far from over and with this crowd there and the little apple behind them I'm kind of banking on a comeback they're trailing by 11 to Kansas any big developments in this one we've got you covered with the best studio team in the business gentlemen thanks for the update on that one Kevin let us know when it goes final the sweet feet byy a little time and the pass rush is effective and they tackle him at the 19 and this off defense has done such a good job protecting their dude at quarterback but the defense finally gets home listen that's their third sack in two weeks they got to do a better job applying pressure on the quarterback and they are looking for a ball play that'll work now facing second and long from the 19 he's looking to throw they're trying to get to him reacted well to the tip but just couldn't squeeze the football instead of the turnover it'll be third down well I know that one fell incomplete but what a day this guy has had throwing the football multiple touchdowns and he's done a really nice job with his decision making hasn't thrown any picks which has really helped keep this offense on schedule not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long backed up inside their 20 looking to pass it's whimet looking left and they can't make the connection on third down man what a break break on the football he read that the whole way he just couldn't finish it you know he saw the end zone he saw the grass in front of him to break on that and maybe take it to the house but just a missed opportunity and nobody able to field that punt as it rolls out of [Applause] bounds okay now here comes that Auburn offense onto the field again how big is this drive scored a touchdown the last time they had it defense gets to stop and now it's up to them in a tie game all right so if you're the offensive coordinator here let's dial it in who are your best matchups and best Playmakers to take advantage of this golden opportunity yeah and I'm interested to see this defense too like the momentum is clearly not in your favor how do you get it back how do you make a big play do you be more aggressive here to try to get the football back to your off trying to move the sticks on third down through the air and the pressure gets there and down he goes at the 18 how nice is it as a defense when you can drop seven guys in a coverage only Rush four and still get home that makes you feel good if you're the d-coordinator makes a move coverage team was down there to Corral him they made the Stop and they'll mark it at the 39 Kentucky sends the offense back out onto the field boy three and out last time David they'd like to be more productive this time around yeah in the last Drive nothing really click no rhythm got off the field really really quickly they need to put something together here Palmer yeah David B execution on that last drive so they got to take a collective breath and start playing like a unit on this drive didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 they're bringing heat he's got an open man and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pickup well the offense able to pick up some extra yards after that curl throw there because the QB got it to his guy early he was able to turn around make a guy Miss and go pick up some yak got his hand quickly and the defense settled in to stop that one for a short game and the wild caps come to the line in the hurry [Applause] up dropping back it's whim going to take a shot he's got it touchdown wild cats and that one will give him the lead and that's a play this kid has been running ever since he was 7 years old at the park with his best friend throwing him go routs right down the field I'm running by a guy I'm looking back locating the football making the catch and he does it in a big moment here in this game about to kick it off after punching get in for the touchdown here he comes from inside his own five good job by the coverage unit to stop the Return Man and Auburn is ready to go back to work on offense last time David it was one two three kick yeah last drive that three and out sometimes that puts your defense in a bad spot and you got to get a drive together here so you don't wear the defense out I just think David too predictable at that last Drive they got to do something here to get this defense on their heels oh he had him right down the middle and it just squirted right through his fingers and they missed an opportunity for a nice play on first down takes the hand off it's Hunter weaves his way ahead and gets five out to the 18 yd line I like this guy as a running back because he could run between the tackles and he can also go outside he can really do it all [Applause] this is the type of play that can give the offense momentum third and short from inside the 20 from the gun wants to pass can't meet the connection on third down thanks to that tough hard noosed pass defense and now it's fourth down he'll try to throw and pick up the first down finds his man in they convert and the defense makes the immediate tackle but he has enough for the first down that tells you a lot about their confidence of this quarterback fourth down early in the game on your own end and you go for it but when you make decisions and throws like that it's easy to see why and how about that catch and run so dangerous this guy they pick up the first down on the drag route I know that seems like a simple route but it's actually a lot more complex than what it looks like because that outout changes based on whether it's man or Zone if it's man coverage he's flying across the field if it's Zone he's got to sit down over the ball and a soft spot giving his quarterback a place to go with it nice job of those guys being on the same page there looking downfield it's Thorne another interception this guy just can't find his own players God room on the return and and it's going to be a pick six touchdown wild cats he made that look a lot easier than it is when you break out a football you got to see it and go at the perfect angle the free saan leaves his spot goes and gets it and then does the hard part takes it back to the house for six and they stay on target with the extra point up 35 to 21 they're about to kick it away and the defense probably can't wait to get back out there after after the pick six he'll bring it out it's Kane I know he thinks he can house every return but sometimes you just have to take a knee as he stopped at the [Applause] 14 now here comes that Auburn offense onto the field again this is when the pressure can ramp up a little bit on an offense David when they start feeling the heat to answer a score and I think being down 14 you can kind of feel that way but dude if you put a good drive together this is a seven-point game so Palmer no need to paint it I was just going to say David I mean this thing can flip quick you go down score all of a sudden your defense gets a stop or who knows better yet gets a turnover this game is entirely will start the quarter offense about to snap it on second down looking to throw on second down pocket starts to collapse The Freshman able to get home with the sack well the problem for this offense now late in the game trailing by a bunch of points is that the defense knows they're going to throw the football and right now offensively they cannot protect the edge you saw the speed coming from the outside he was able to get to the quarterback for another negative play I'm not positive but that first down marker might be in the next County on Third and long he'll need to loosen up that arm going for the big play makes the grab gets the foot down just Precision execution on that big play well trailing like they are right now quter their execution offensively is just going to have to be at a premium you can't afford a lot of incompletions at this point everybody is going to need to be on the same page moving forward so he took a chance by using a Timeout on the challenge and it comes back to Biden we'll see if he needs that timeout later back to pass It's Thorn finds his man down the middle knocked down immediately but a nice pick up on that one Auburn lines up quickly he's back to throw on second down and that's going to fall to the ground incomplete that was a physical match up there third down coming trying to pick up a first down Corner showing press they want to be physical here they'll try to pick it up on the ground that just never had a chance as they controlled the middle of the field and stopped him in the back field on third down you know defensively you live by the Blitz and you die by the blitz that time they dialed it up into the Run play the linebacker able to make a nice tackle and they're going to send out the field goal unit and take the offense off the field field goal is good and for a quick update let's go to Kevin Conor's in the studio a bit of an under the radar game this week guys but take a look at this Colorado state is currently working from behind but how many times have we said that and then witness something special happen this time of year you just never know they're trailing by just four to New Mexico we've got our eye on this one and everything else going on throughout the day guys oh and how about that I know Kevin and those guys will be keeping an eye on it for us Kentucky has it back in the Big Blue offense takes the field touch pass on the Jet Sweep and he finds enough Running Room and he's marked down at the 20 and these little touch passes man they're just the easiest completions ever for quarterbacks Palmer I bet you would have loved being able to just Flip It Forward that counts as to your completion percentage which is good and then it's run after the catch so pretty easy for a QB you wouldn't have been the only allamerican in this booth David if I were allowed to put have Push passes when I was playing quarterback I'll tell you that it is so hard to defend it's so hard to seal that edge especially when this guy's Full Speed Ahead coming around the along side and this defense has got to make a play right it's the fourth quarter we're trailing you know this offense they're going to get conservative they want to eat that clock you've got to bring more guys to the line of scrimmage got to make plays got to get that football back the wild cats have a first down that is how it's done on third down it's short no doubt about it an easy hole to get through and clearly get the first down if you really want to simplify football the low man wins that time the offense got the better of the D easily picked that up they'll run it to keep the clock moving get him on the ground after a four yd run out to the 31 it's just so nice to know you can start off on first down with positive plays positive yards hand the football off set up a second down second down here and maybe they've got time to get one more snap off before the two-minute warning we reached the two-minute warning and this offense will be quite content just to drain the rest of the time [Applause] away they're in control the clock is their friend you'd have to expect another run here on second and six he'll run it again he's brought down but not before they pick up the big first down I think you have to like what you see if you're the coaching staff here your offense is on the field and it looks like you got a pretty good drive going and you're just going to down and the punt team sends it the other way he only needs a sliver of daylight he just about took that one all the way to the house they finally get him down after a tremendous return and Auburn is ready to go back to work on offense it's always great to get points on a drive but it would behoove them to try to get a touchdown this time around Palmer they may have to get out of their comfort zone here too David a little bit and just start being more aggressive and take some chances but that's what's going to have to happen for them to win this game yeah and when you're losing obviously everything gets hypen everything becomes more critical this drive is crucial because you've got to cut into this deficit and put some points on the board ripping off a good chunk inside the 25 and they're set up with a first down he's going to pass fires to the middle and the timing just a hair off after the incompletion looking at second down these Corners going to give these receivers space looking to pass on second down and they won't make the connection going for the big play this quarterback desperately wants to make a chunk play but they're going to be deepest to deepest widest the widest he's got to be patient no doubt situational football is probably one of the most underrated untalked about things like understanding the situation I have the lead they have to take shots down a little confidence from that yeah and you want it to be a habit that's what you talk about as a coach week after week let's build let's create momentum and continue to build on it continue and then you look up at the end of the season you never know where you could be what dreams you could bring to reality at the end of the day I think good teams find ways to win games and over these last two games it hasn't always been easy they've had to overcome some adversity but at the end of the day they were able to step up make the plays necessary and do that very very impressive so that's going to
