will kick off to get us [Music] underway oh look at Mr hands taking the squibber inside the 30 [Applause] on first down here comes this offense trying to start the drive with a pass unloads to the wide out and wings it incomplete and I tell you what we've kind of gotten to the point where we expect QBs to be and just never to miss and always put it right on the face mask or right on the numbers and right there you could tell he just missed a little bit a little bit off and I guarantee he's tapping his helmet saying hey that's my bad after the misconnection it's second down looking for a man it's sluka he's moving out of the pocket he'll pull it down he was able to squirt free and pick up just a few on that one well great job there by the defense because they weren't able to get him sacked right away but you saw the coverage in the back end nor the quarterback to throw the football didn't get the sack obviously you don't get the negative play but you also don't give up a big one you're feeling pretty good about where you are right now in this qu on third down he drops to throw and that's incomplete a Defender all over him knocked the ball to the ground fourth down coming up this is a point where you just got to be able to focus the critical down and distances in this game like that third down right there when it's a good throw you got to make the catch you've got to be able to make that play trying to burn this defensive back Hees it into trouble and he finds trouble with the pick and a big return after the int sets up the offense for this possession well we knew coming into this one this was offense that wanted to come out sling it around but the timing is going to have to be a whole lot better this defense has athletes who can close on the ball and make plays and you saw it right there in that interception to open this game fast motion from the offense little touch pass to the receiver the defense wouldn't let him loose and even though it's in completion they lost yardage well I love the aggressive nature of the defense on that play everybody playing with eye displine they saw the pre- snap motion they knew who had the football and you saw guys play with excellent Instinct running downhill and making a tackle and here comes the offense on second down he's looking to throw quickly complete oh there might have been trouble if they hadn't knocked him down so quickly during the week you got to talk to your qu quarterback what do you like what's your favorite safest routes easiest love coming out with those early with the short passing gam they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here scanning the field it's Thorne and that pass K off takes it the other way at the 20 and he has taken it all the way back touchdown Rebels the DB saw it he thought don't drop it don't drop it then thought don't get caught don't get caught and he didn't the pick six hey these guys can play offense too now look at this I showed you I can be a wide receiver coach might split him out a wide receiver next week after making that big play but defense great job making the interception and you're right doing something with it don't just slide down don't be content take that thing all the way back they're lining up to kick it off after the pick six and that defense will come out feeling it looks as if the returner will try and field this one nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 now here comes that Auburn offense onto the field again well the good news is they threw a touchdown pass last time it was just to the wrong team Jesse well that's an unfortunate part of the game for quarterbacks but guess what they do happen so you've got to be able to turn the page here and Lead this offense well I think you know this defense is going to be aggressive they're going to jump routes they're going to play aggressive you got to take advantage of that maybe use that this time to your advantage and now to try to put things in motion on second and long from the 15 on the move it's Hunter works his way ahead for three they'll Spot It the 18 you know runs like this often times are like a boxer in a boxing match obviously it's not a knockout punch but these are body blows and as the game goes on these small gains are going to turn into longer runs a third and long coming up [Applause] here looking to throw it's Thor now he's going to Glide away from Pressure connection to the right he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense and this quarterback wasn't thinking about taking off and running with that one he was outside the pocket but he kept his eyes down the field he kept reading the coverage he was surveying to find an open Target accurate throw and they get the first down out of the gun to give to the back they make the stop but there is a flag on the field we'll see what that's all about good job by the QB there using his Cadence using his clapping trying to get this defense [Applause] offside that's the end of the first quarter maybe can be a little more aggressive here after the offsize penalty it's first and five [Applause] oh he tosses it back he tries to take the top off he holds it in and nobody's close touchdown over and once he found open space the band might as well start playing now they told us they were going to run the trick play I wasn't sure I believed them but they dialed it up at the right time I bet you believe them now and the defense didn't believe it first they thought it was a run you can tell they suck up the wide receiver looks like he's going to block slips right by the defensive backs and ends up being a big play nice call nice time and the extra points splits
