Mountain West fo the Wyoming Cowboys for EA Sports college football I'm Reese Davis joined here in the booth by David P and Jesse Palmer and guys let's get this thing started Utah State lined up ready to deliver the opening kickoff that ball skips through the end zone it's a Touchback and they'll take over at the 20 e three tight ends in the formation on First and 10 [Applause] the running back has it tackle is made at the 28 after a pick up of three and that's what you're trying to do as a defense limit those damages when they run the football get them on the ground short gains to set your defense for positive situations down the road from the gun they'll try the middle they make the stop but there is a flag on the field we'll see what that's all about just an obvious holding call there one that just kills an offense's momentum now on second down from the gun running back on the Move Nifty run there pick up of six out through the 25 they have had to wear that beat down since the last time these two met Jesse they've been talking about it for a long time they were absolutely embarrassed the players the coaches the fans you know David coming into this game this time they want to put out a much better performance oh there's nothing worse the coaches are riding you all week leading up into this game reminding you showing the Clips in the locker room you know you fa you want to come out and get a great start in this football game early the Cowboys come to the line with a new set of [Applause] downs off the play fake on first down got him and nobody's close oh look out there he goes touchdown cowboy and once he found open space the band might well start playing and back in the day you used to line up and your tight end was a blocker and you threw it to him short now these guys are being so dynamic in space and so athletic now they can make big huge plays for your offense and put points on the board in a hurry not going to risk a return here he'll make the fair catch offense set on first down he wants to throw coming after it and the quarterback goes down at the 11 yd line that's not how you want to start a drive on the very first play you give up a sack and you lose a ton of yards quarterback you've got to know just throw the ball away know when the play is over this play will be a big indication of whether this drive goes anywhere on second and long from the 11 he looks that one in nicely they make the stop but not before he takes a chunk out of what they need to move the sticks I love the QB he holds it he holds it he holds it just long enough to let the receiver run the drag route and then he puts it out in front of him so he can catch it on the run in stride and then turn up field to use his speed going to let it fly and they wanted it all on third down but now dealing with fourth down Utah state will be forced to send out the punt [Applause] team gets his first one of the day away and that matches his total from that Victory last week not going to get a chance to field that one and the punt will bounce out of bounds Wyoming has the football back and here comes the offense Jesse looking to take it down the field for backto back touchdowns I think it's really important for them moving forward too to have a lot of balance right you want to be able to keep this defense guessing power yeah and you got me searching for answers after that last drive you stack another drive on top of this defense's heads are going to be spinning all over the place the offense has it now at the 48 yd line first and 10 motion trying to get the defense to show its hand takes the easy one to the back and they pick up just a few on that completion the biggest lie college football coaches tell is nameless faceless opponent David game like this you know their name and you know their face you know them well and it does mean just a little bit more because it's bragging rights like the rivalries matter so much all throughout the year all the fans talking about this game in particular that's why it means more and that's why these players will be jacked out of their minds you know runs like this often times are like a boxer in a boxing match obviously it's not a knockout punch but these are body blows as the game goes on these small gains are going to turn into longer ones and the defense had it hands full but they finally wrestleing down short of the first down yeah and that's a really good job by the defense cuz when you get in that third and medium area listen you got to be worried about the run and the pass did a good job playing both got it stopped now forcing a fourth down maybe a tad out of field goal range and way too close to punt it kind of in no man's land so they'll go for it on fourth down and they reacted well to the completion but it was too late to keep them from getting the first down that's a great example of the receiver knowing exactly where the first down marker is he got the depth he needed to get so once he was able to make the catch he already knew he had it and now the fresh set of DS they make the stop if this passing game does some damage and they move the sticks with the first down well the play fake on the RPO bought the receiver some time to work himself open on the route that was a man-to-man coverage on the defense nice job by the receiver putting us foot in the ground and separable good throwing catch takes it down from the five as the offense tries to cash in this offense has become a first down machine and that is so demoralizing for the defense especially for those star players that are playing tons of snaps they're not subbing out as much by the fourth quarter they're going to be gassed and the Cowboys will try to put one on the board on first and goal they'll try to get it in with the run into the end zone he goes touchdown Wyoming and this running back is so dangerous down close to the end zone he's got wiggle he's got great vision and burst and he showed all of those attributes right there let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Conor Kevin what do you got all right guys want to update you on a game that went final moments ago SMU Notch a victory in enemy territory and though it wasn't a dominant win I'd argue any win away from Dallas is worth its weight in goal to the Mustangs a lot to go through in the film session this week for both teams but boy it sure is going to be easier for the side that came away with the win and Kevin Conor's keeping an eye on everything all over the country sounds like they had a good one there to the ground with the back open space at the 25 he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense and I tell you what we can focus on the left side of line of scrimmage because that's the where that's where the play starts but you don't get big gains when you run out wide unless wide receivers yes wide receivers commit to blocking staying on their guys really good job on the outside by giving the running back space to make the big play and he finds Some solid space makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop him well plays like that that will help this offense stay in Rhythm all game long if you can have that kind of success on first down running the football it just opens up your entire Playbook moving forward that pass is incomplete and they're probably fortunate that it wasn't knock free for a fumble we're already in the first quarter but already you get the feeling this could be a long day for this QB he's already been sacked he gets hit right there on the incomplete throw they've got to find a way to a better job up front of protecting this guy or it's going to be difficult to put up points he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see which way that's going to go so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty they started this drive with a big play but now they need a conversion to keep it alive on third down running it to the right turns it on in Midfield he gets the job done on third down they move the chains it's at the 37 and how about that on third down you give it to your playmaker in the back field and he's able to use his speed to go get the first and he's a guy that you should be focusing on with this offense he's definitely a game breaker he's a guy that they starred you know going into this matchup that they had to stop third down money down you figured they might probably get him the football they do and they get the first down that's what's so scary about this offense they've got guys in the perimeter that can change the game in one single play and you saw it right there too much speed on the perimeter to create that explosive play as they get set to snap it time winding down here in the quarter he's looking to throw moving keeping the eyes down field he got it and after the tackle that will bring us to the end of the first quarter compl the end of the quing 14 St theyd love to start this quarter off with a touch down right here linebackers moving trying to confuse the quarterback quarterback sneaking his way tunneling and furrowing into the line wedges pushes and he's over and in for the touchdown and with the extra point every little bit counts as they get closer about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown UT that one bouns through the end zone and it'll be a [Applause] Touchback Wyoming takes over the football and the cowboy offense on its way out Jesse a very productive Drive last time wound up with a touchdown yeah mixing and matching play calling really well nice balance on that last one day we'll see what they can do here in this next Drive yeah and I don't expect anything different when you put together a drive like that I would do more of the same keep the pace keep it going they've got it at the 37 it's first and 10 they'll ride the hot hand offensive Lan love to run the power why you run power you run power then you can play action you don't want that defense to be sitting there saying it's a pass it's a pass having to pass block every play you got to keep defenses off balance out of the gun the inside G creating some space getting just enough good blocking and they've got it up to the 47 yd line I think that was an example of the offensive coordinator trying to help out his quarterback he's trying to keep these third Downs manageable you know you throw the ball on second down and it's incomplete now you've set up third and long and now you're set up to fail that just never had a chance as they controlled the middle of the field and stopped him in the back field on third down when you're around Midfield the analytics will tell you so much better to go for it on fourth down and that one Falls incomplete a huge stand by the defense and this offense choose to be aggressive listen once you start getting to Midfield you see most offenses be aggressive and they took their chance and they failed now early in the game a chance to create momentum to swing back to the other side of the football field Utah State sing Against offense back onto the field they'll throw it on first down he's going to run it good little pick up there as he saw some daylight and got what he could welcome to the frustrating reality of college football like the guy at the quarterback spot you can just do that pull it down get positive yards makes the defense have to account for him every single play running back searching for a hole across the 25 he's got room and he found plenty of Running Room on that one before the def was finally able to get him down you know as a defense you can have the right call and the right guy in the right spot but that guy's just too good and how about the running back on that play just making it happen breaking off the huge game it's tough to get these guys on the ground they're down to the 20 first and [Applause] 10 quickly complete they're able to keep him out of the end zone he'll be stopped at the two after the big play in the passing game this offense is just so dynamic because they've got Playmakers at all the skill positions right we just saw a big play in the running game now we see one in the passing game there's not one dude that you can key on here if you're on defense to try and slow them down stumbled to the ground we'll see if the offense can punch it in on second and goal quarterback sneak trying to get a push where es pushes and he's over and in for the touchdown and the offense continues to run the football the second rushing touchdown from the running back the offensive line Paving holes continue to feed this man the ball and he makes the extra point all tied up and just about set to kick it [Applause] away the kickoff bounces through the end zone they'll bring it out to the 25 Wyoming has the football back and here comes the offense what a turn that last Drive was didn't pick up the fourth down and it led to the scoring Drive David yeah and those are frustrating cuz and he breaks into the open pass the 20 touchdown Wyoming and once he found open space the band might as well start playing this offense is high octane boy you just saw it not a lot of needed for them to go all the way and score six well done and with the extra point the score is now 21-4 about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown and it'll come out to the 25 no attempt at a return and the offense takes the field ready to go back to work they're looking for an advantage to the right he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three that linebacker saw the express lane right to the ball carry and a great job by the defensive line getting some push making them use their resources on him linebacker comes free BL to making the back field for a tackle for a loss and he was drilled just as he released the pass it's incomplete I tell you as a quarterback it's going to be hard throwing the ball over the middle of the field against this defense because these D linemen are huge and they've got long arms that was like trying to throw over a 10ft tall person nearly impossible they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one he's got his man no what a move ripping off a pretty good chunk of yardage they've got it out to the 41 with the first first down well look that wasn't a touchdown but that was a massive play for this offense they needed some momentum they needed to find a rhythm in what better way than converting on third down awesome job by the quarterback getting through his progession on the ground it's Briggs and he'll make his way out of bounds after the solid pickup nice run there on first down know this is a running back that gets better as the game goes on so they're going to want to make sure keep feting him the football let him get laded up after the productive first down play it's second and six he's looking to throw now he's going to Glide away from pressure and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete and screens are all about timing right you want to invite the defensive line to fly up the field and then you want to throw it right over their head and you could tell just a little bit off and the defense got him so quick got the back hit before he can really get his bearings and throw the screen he gets it to the 38 yd line and they'll pick up a fresh set of downs he now has 85 yards on the ground and that's just another routine day for this guy who's been among the nation's leaders in rushing all season long comes out throwing on first down caught in the back field it's Bulman and oh did they know that one was coming knock him down in the back field trying to throw the screen out to the receiver the defense though having none of that they are just too physical they're too fast they force a negative play looking to pass on second down no we close on that one as he got drilled trying to deliver the football and now they face third down well this defense felt coming into the game that if he was going to try to throw from the pocket they could get to him and affect his accuracy and they did on that last play it's third down now they ought to be able to get off one more play before the two-minute warning grabbed over the middle it's Lan makes the grab and knock down and he's got it at the 25 yd line Utah State comes to the line with a first and 10 Ed the play fake now to throw the short hands it's Davis he'll be brought down at the three yd line an explosive play in the passing game has him on the doorstep that big pick up on what they call the drag route but if you hit it on time you can hit the turbo boosters and you've got to be accurate on the throw too Reese nice job by the QB there putting it out in front of his receiver to make an easy catch and then Advance it a first down run in the red zone and he takes it to the house touchdown Utah State and I love that this offense stuck to it stuck to the Run game didn't Panic they got down but they answer the Bell right before the half and they got this thing right where they want it now they can tie this football game and hopefully go into the half with a lot of moment and he puts through the extra point and we're all square as he's set to kick it away bounces through the end zone it's a Touchback they'll bring it out to the 25 Wyoming takes over the football in the cowboy offense on its way out now they need to put something together to answer that last score there's a lot of pressure too on this offense to have to execute at a high level they've got to score points D but they can't go too fast cuz their defense right now is and I think that's the difficulty being a play call like I have to balance all of those things my defense is a little bit tired I can't put on the field but I got to be aggressive because this is a back and forth type game so a lot to process and think about he got a bunch and look close to getting a lot more but he's got the first down you ain't getting by all these guys right up the middle unless your offensive line and your tight ends and everybody is putting in the work up front committing to blocking the running back does a great job finding the hole EXP thir how about that nice big huge game if I'm the OC let's call that one again you know sometimes even a short game like that can be used to set up something bigger later on no doubt Reese they can pump that and take a shot down the field and don't worry they're going to go back to that same play cuz they know this guy with the ball in his hands is dangerous he makes one guy Miss he can take it to the house and I like the quarterback making the decision quickly I'm going to give it I'm not going to throw the football off the RPO and just let my back get positive yards you're getting five plus yards that is a great job by the offense continue to stick with that here comes a third down situation and the defense has had no answer so far they'll finally drag him down but not before he gets it to the 40 and it's a first down Buck will stop with this timeout from the offense they'll get a chance to regroup on the sideline they'll put it in play from the 40 on First and 10 29 ph9 quarterback flips in head quickly to the receiver fights off a Defender well and on these little push passes timing is so important you're trying to snap it right as he's getting a full head of steam when he gets the ball he's hitting the outside David it puts the defense in such a difficult spot you immediately have to be rotating when you see that motion so everybody's got to communicate and kind of bump over that's why offenses love to run it just it makes the defense communicate see if you can just get him out of the spot quick timeout called by the offense after the play well this offense has come out slinging the pill they are throwing it they are trying to be aggressive we're only in the second quarter guys already this guy has over 200 yds passing from the 14 yd line it's first and 10 they're in the red zone and they'll pass it gets it out quickly he's stopped just a chain link or two away from the first down and sets them up beautifully here to the air it's fabot going for six he snares it in the end zone touchdown mustard and brown and I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game and tell you what heat that passing game up you can keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers you get that touchdown right before the half the momentum and the last thing you need to do is mess it up by allowing a big kickoff return this will not be returnable as it sails out of the back of the end zone they'll have just enough time to get one more snap before the half he's looking to throw it he's got it ran through the tackle and he's got room to run he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down that's going to wrap up the first half here and now we join Kevin with the halftime update the Cowboys will kick it away first and we'll start the second [Applause] half fair catch called for and made guys Utah State offense about to give it another goal I imagine we'll see them go right back to work up top after how productive that passing game was in the first half and it's interesting if I'm the defense and I've got the lead they've had success throwing the football but we're winning I I don't know that this defense changes too much of what they've done in the first half I think they got to do a better job with pass rush they might want to change their cover as well because they're probably at this point expecting this offense to have to keep throwing considering they did have success in the first half on the run it's Briggs shakes off the defender and there were no creases or crevices to run through and they shove him out of bounds they're going to keep this drive going they'll have to make a play on Third and long from the 26 from the gun wants to pass zings it complete to the right and Sh tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker Utah state will be forced to send out the punt team this will be the second time they've had to kick it away a lowline drive and not his best work and no chance for The Return Man to get his hands on that one as it hops out of bounds Wyoming has the football back and here comes the offense what a good mix of plays keeping that defense off balance last time David and Reese they don't know if it's run or if it's pass they got him right where they wanted this defense doesn't know how to react from getting punched in the mouth on that last drive so in this next Drive David I think you keep running the football because that sets up the play action it sets up the RPO game and then you keep this defense guessing that pass is incomplete and they might be fortunate it wasn't knock free for a fumble it'll be third down and finally the defense is able to get some pressure on this quarterback they had been trying all game long different ways to affect him weren't able to get there but on that play because of the pressure it affected his accuracy that's why the ball falls into and I like the aggressiveness on Third and short trying to throw the football take advantage of a look that they got they weren't successful and now it's Fourth and short short territory who knows what they're going to do on fourth down they're taking to the air it's incomplete and they'll turn it over on down I like the idea to go for it there on fourth down you're basically at Midfield and you've got confidence in your guys to be able to go out you've got experience in this offense guys have made these types of plays before that time the defense stepped up they bow up and made a better play and take over now you need your defense to get on the field a sudden change situation get you the football back in and defense nowadays they don't look at stats of what is the yards for a rush they look at how many negative plays they can create cuz why now you look at second down man it just became very predictable for this offense nice job creating the loss on first down buys a little extra time grabbed in the middle it's Briggs and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few making the running back a weapon in the passing game makes it so difficult on the defense to cover everything no doubt and listen there's so many matchups across the board if if I'm playing offense I'm going to assess it like where do I have a speed Advantage is it running back versus a linebacker is it receiver versus a corner whatever it is I'm going to find it you can tell it was the running back and they took advantage great job by the quarterback thrown against Z own coverage you cannot Telegraph where you're throwing the football you cannot eyeball a wide receiver so great job by the quarterback using his eyes not staring down his guy and then throwing him open they decide against trying the 52 yd field goal instead the offense trying to convert a fourth and short catch in the middle it's Bowman how about that defense rising up and stopping him short on fourth down they've got the Big Fellas out there a three tight end look on First and 10 they'll leave it with him still on his feet at the 45 he has 89 yds rushing and that should be no surprise he's been among the nation's Elite all season and running backs are so good so talented so elusive you see nowadays they really have the ability to make you miss run you over unbelievable effort nice job you keep that going it'll be hard to stop he breaks the tackle really nice patient job to find some Running Room by this junior this running back loves running into the teeth of the defense in between the tackles he keeps a low pad level and he's got some speed off the play fake on first down wants to throw got rid of it quickly but it's incomplete ine and now on second down for this offense give to the running back he could have used a little bit more there pick up of three it's third and seven well they're going RPO nice job handing it off and really good Vision there just getting what he can get right puts his foot in the ground gets forward helps this offense find positive rights and trying to put points on the board on third down now they're staring at Fourth Down got to give the defense credit on that play taking everything away forcing the incompletion now it's decision time fourth and short and you're in field goal range what do you do here the field goal is no good and the margin remains at seven after the minuts W 2 Utah 21 Utah state has it back ready to go to work on offense off play action on first down fires to the big fella and a good job in coverage there as they stop it after just a few line getting set on second down they're going back to the ground at the 45 on his way and he'll ramble to the 34 before he's finally knocked down those outside runs if they can get the edge like they do great job by the Right Guard right tackle getting the edge and now what does this do this makes cornerbacks come up and Tackle safeties come up and Tackle as opposed to linebackers and big defensive players you get your guy out the space where he can use his speed and his physicality against guys that usually cover and don't come up and make tackles well you're seeing the balance this offense has and how they can create explosive plays in a variety of ways we just saw one come in the Run game and now you see one coming in the passing game I'll tell you they've got this defense on their heels a first down run on the doorstep touchdown Utah State and they take it in for six more points Utah well I think the coaching staff and fans knew that this guy was going to play a big role in this offense this year but I don't know if anyone expected him to have this kind of season statistically guys that's his 20th rushing touchdown on the season the ball squirts through the end zone that'll be a Touchback they'll bring it out to the 25 Wyoming takes over the football and the cowboy offense on its way out we talk about settling for points but sometimes when you have to settle for nothing David it can be demoralizing yeah it can definitely be frustrating and I think it leads you to say maybe i' go for it more but Jesse I think this offense just needs to put another drive together and just finish Stronger Yeah and and be a little bit less predictable too especially as they get closer and closer down to the end zone wants to throw it's saod he's open on the right finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down well how about the offense setting that play up we've seen earlier in the game a couple shorter throws just trying to suck those safeties closer to the line of scrimmage anticipating that they would get an opportunity to take a shot they called the perfect play at the perfect time right there and they'll bring him to the ground after a short gain and these defensive tackles just eat people they swallow human beings when you get near them they're so big so strong those guys those running backs coming they just need mid they put one mid on a running back and he usually falls to the ground just because of their sheer mass and strength well on that last play you'd like to see the quarterback be a little bit more accurate and give his guy a chance to make the play that ball wasn't even close to his intended Target's body trying to move the sticks on third down through the air he's got it they make the tackle not before he gets the first down now let's see if they rush to the line or let the time run out here in the third of the thir four and after three we all tied up and the Cowboys are moving quickly down the [Applause] field here's a quick throw out to the left and good coverage by the defense just a short game I love offenses and quarterbacks that are willing to take the easy stuff take those easy throws that are guaranteed to get positive yards yeah I'm going to take big shots down the field too but don't forget it's easier to pick up second five third and five it is when we start getting those long yard situations they within field goal range at the 29 let's see if they can pick up a few or the first down on Third and long and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the Stop and now on fourth down they will put it on the shoulders of the kicker to save them with his foot it's good and that was dead solid perfect and they regain the lead and for a quick update let's go to Kevin Conor in the studio fellas I think at least a portion of your audience will have an interest in the one that just finished up Oklahoma State proved it is Battle tested and capable of winning any place any time after this one and just think of the confidence this Pok team game today invaluable if you ask me the circle of life in college football where one team moves on feeling like kings and the other heads home licking its wounds yeah how about that sounds as if they had a good ball game there Kevin thanks for the update after the incompletion it's second and 10 from their own 25 misfired on the last play they'll go back to the air this time it's complete that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the Stop and offensively I love running these drag routes I mean these are the routes that whether it's Zone whether it's man they're so successful it's just about seeing what the defense is doing and getting it to him in open space nice job the wide receiver has some space after the catch able to go make extra yards nice pits and catch I like this guy as a running back because he could run between the tackles and he can also go outside he can really do it all halfway there on first down it's second and five he'll try the left side wrestled to the ground after picking up the first down wow the running back there showing you his skill set as he's able to rip off that one for a first down [Applause] the aies will line it up on First and 10 linebacker shuffling around trying to keep the quarterback from getting a read now they'll run the draw he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and how about the timing of the linebacker on the blitz to get in the back field and get the tackle for H is there anything better for a linebacker than to run on a blitz and nobody's home except the back such a great feeling when when the Moses Parts the Red Sea and the hole opens up and you go f after losing a couple on that last play here's second and 12 got him looking run he wants to throw moving away from pressure unleashes one he makes a catch just what this offense was looking for sets him up at the 26 with a first down one of the things that makes this quarterback so dangerous is how accurate he can be when he's on the run and he's a guy that's looking to throw he's not looking to take off himself showed you that accuracy on that play to get the first they'll run it to the right side poers forward but stopped after a pick up of two to the 24 four and the defense doing a great job committing to the run when you commit to the run like this obviously you give up some plays in the passing game but you got to stop the run first after picking up a couple it's second and eight he's looking to throw oh look out the ball's free oh the offense looks as if they fell on the fumble and they'll keep the ball man those are back Breakers defensively get so excited you force the fum going to get a turnover in the off get the field goal from here it's a 51 y get a few on third down and life is much better it's complete to the right and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down you know sometimes when you're throwing against Zone coverage you need time for the routes to develop so nice job by the quarterback there being patient allowing his receivers to work El open he'll try to throw and pick up the first down pulls it in it's Bowman and he almost ran away from everybody on that one a huge pick up on that play that's an awesome effort by the receiver there because he didn't have the first down once he caught the pass he had to be able to make a guy Miss and with his athleticism and skill he's able to do that and as a result fresh set of downs for the offense so now the opportunity to take the lead with a first and goal here they'll try to get it in with the Run touchdown agies they've got the lead here in the fourth and this offense really showing their physicality running the football when it matters in the fourth quarter in crunch time to take the lead in this football game almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown [Applause] 35 W it bouns through the back of the end zone it'll be a Touchback Wyoming has the football back and here comes the offense guys that last trip a little disappointing having to take the three yeah I think Jesse you see so many offenses talk about getting yards and the tempo and all the stuff they do there a nice job moving the football but they got to get in the end zone this time yeah and I think to do that they just got to be more physical at the point of attack get some push up front they need to be the best running team in this game to win and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 we have reached a two-minute warning and time is of the essence if this offense is going to make a play this defense has kept them backed up now one more stop and they can get off the field on Third and long [Applause] looking to throw and he needs a bunch trying to get to it and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down well they're trailing in this game late the defense knows it so they're playing for pass two plays ago they get the sack this time they force an incompletion not a lot the offense can do here to catch them off guard they're just going to have to make a huge play here on fourth down throws for the tight end fires a bullet now it's picked off he'll try to take it back touchdown Aggies a great return for the touchdown any return for a touchdown is a great one to a defense the lead gets bigger here in the fourth quarter and their run continues about to go eight and0 yeah how about that man fourth down trying to go make a play get this offense going get it sparked get some points on the board and that couldn't have gone any worse they throw the pick and not only that they return it all the way back for six that offense just shot themselves right Wyoming takes over the football and the cowboy offense on its way out the big thing now don't get rattled by that last pick six David N it was a big mistake uh obviously the defense took advantage of it but you got to put it behind you Jesse I'm sure you know a thing or two about throwing a pick six and and how to rebound I believe I've only thrown one in my life but yes I do because of that singular instance I'll say this you can't let that play Beat you twice you got to go out not try to get it all back here in one play Just execute the it just nosing into enemy territory at the 49 it's first and 10 he's got it well he made the grab but the doors closed quickly after that and I like this I want to find my running back but man he's got to do a little more damage after the catch I I need a stiff arm I need a spin move I need something where he can make that guy Miss pick up a bunch of yards and makebe get a big play trying to get everybody set with the clock still running unloads to the wide out and they can't make the connection and a nice job by the defense understanding who their go-to guy is that's the guy they want to feature that's the guy they want to feed with good reason he's a great player but a great job by the defense taking away that primary read make sure they don't make a big play if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air makes the grab it's Kane working their way closer and closer a third down conversion and they've got it at the 26 the Cowboys have it with a first and 10 he's going to pass spits it out to the back and the physical play there forces the incompletion on first down after the misfire now on second down back to throw it's saota fires to the wide out a beautifully Place ball to the outside and the tow drag for the big pick up this offense has a ton of work left ahead of him here in this two-minute situation late in the game but the drive off to a good start you get the first down you get out of bounds you work in the perimeter of the field that is exactly what you want to do into the end zone for a touchdown and here in the final minute they still have a chance and listen still a ways to go a great job by this offense getting you back in the ball game now we got a one possession game and it'll be intercepted In The End [Applause] Zone 35 seconds remain meaning they'll line up for the onside kick to try to pull this thing out they got it able to recover the onside kick and they get the offense right back out there the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty line gets set first down easy they think there's room to run to the right here and that defense is there toide him out of bounds after aain up on the ground take away that run game make them one dimensional put him in passing situations really good job by the [Applause] defense they'll be perect ly content to go right back to the ground here on second and eight defense showing plenty of pre- snap movement of their own good game on the at the and they'll finally bring him down after he rips off a huge play Yeah you got to be impressed with this offense man fourth quarter they've been money great job putting Drives together nice play there as well but this offense has saved their best for the last part of this football game when they needed it the most and to shove him to the tur as they for a B on the ground it's Briggs yeah yeah I'm I'm glad it'll be fun to play this game every that Legacy impressed good win way to stay undefeated I'll get you back here they weren't overhyped in this game they came out they looked prepared they were calm definitely
