that welcome to Columbus Ohio and the venerable horseshoe home of the Ohio State Buckeyes a place that's home to such legendary names as Archie Woody Zeke and stra a big 10 Showdown coming conference games where the results will stick with you for the rest of the season as we'll see a team coming off a crucial by week the Indiana hooers taking on the winners of 10 straight the Ohio State Buckey for EA Sports college football I'm ree Davis David poock and Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it [Applause] [Music] going the Buckeyes will get us started with the opening kickoff and it'll be a Touchback the ball will come out to the 25 yd line the hooers offense will take the first swing of the game and here he comes the guy who pulls all the strings in this attack I think what makes him so unique he has such a good understanding of this offense always seems to know what the answer is to the test always in control the receivers know they're going to get the football everybody believes in this dude this crowd trying to show them what it's going to to be like all day in this house crosses the 30 to the 31 and a 6yd pickup this crowd bringing the energy and noise early I know it's sexy to throw the football but if you can pound it away and get these kind of gains they will just add up wear the defense down get first downs and ultimately get some points decb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down fires to to the tight end and oh he was Off to the Races after the catch and they finally drag him down and the hooers will snap it on First and 10 Ed the play fake now to throw and the pressure gets to him down goes the quarterback a first down sack can wreck a drive let's see what they've got on second and 14 woo that linebacker sacked that quarterback and he was on him quicker than a hit up yeah and you see quarterbacks back there pointing and telling the offensive line who to block and well it didn't work okay he was not prepared for that he comes Scot free and the quarterback pays the consequences for that one he breaks a tackle they've got it inside the 40 at the 39 as they pick up the first down the hooers are on the Move wants to throw on first down he'll lock one deep down the left side what a snag by the defense they stripped it out the offense somehow fell on it and they'll retain possession here's this offense with a fresh set of downs pulls and throws off the RPO and this one will be stopped for No Gain offenses want to get the ball to their Playmakers really fast and they tried to throw the wide receiver screen but how about the defender he was right there there in his space got him on the ground as soon as he caught it he was ready for that play gets it out fast and he'll step out of bounds after a very productive Play This Crowd rising up sensing that it's defense needs some help wants to throw it's Ro receiver looks it in it's complete and he's knocked down immediately but not before he moves the chains now the crowd re responding in the Red Zone trying to help this defense give him about a yard on the play it's down at the 10 operating in the Red Zone here on second down he's looking to throw got it crisp execution in the passing game and they've got it down to the three yeah and I tell you what when you stick these fast suckers in the slot they don't have to be big but you get those guys that are so quick in the slot they can get great matchups and I can get the ball to him quick because there's such Dynamic play that quick strike complete and he was pushing for that goal Ryan but the KN stopped him at the two line of scrimmage is the two and they can pick up the first down here but going for the touchdown here on Fourth and short timeout called here by the defense it's the first one they've used this half ball is spotted at the two they can get a first down without getting a touchdown they'll go for it here on Fourth and short he'll do it himself will not get there a fourth down stop so the Ohio State Buckey offense will have its first possession of the game here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an impact in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play while they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the key for their respective teams yeah and they don't always show up in the Box but these are the guys are the leaders these are the guys getting everybody organized and have to play well for their team to [Applause] succeed looking for room it's Judkins pushes forward for a pick up of three they'll mark it at the eight yeah the running back didn't get much here but you know you clearly want to always establish the Tipo run the football be consistent make that defense physically meet the challenge grabbed over the middle it's Scott and the defense makes the immediate tackle but he has enough for the first [Applause] down they'll go to the ground and the defense holds firm no pickup at all on that play and I can't tell tell you how much I love seeing Corners being willing to come up and tackle that is so huge for a defense you can't Olay blocks and create space you can't just hang out on the outside you got to go set that edge and conversely I can't tell you how much I hate it when receivers don't want to block you got to do a better job on the perimeter it's not going to be enough in this offense just to catch passes you got to go execute your assignment that corner should have been blocked and they should have gotten a bigger gain on that outside run they'll leave it with him pretty good job of running to get two there to the 32 that's a really good job by the defense wrapping them up getting them on the ground take away that run game make them onedimensional put him in passing situations really good job by the defense catch in the middle it's Smith didn't pick up a lot there moved it Forward just a few nice completion here to this wide receiver and you're going to see this receiver line L up in different spots all over the field all game long defense has got to keep their eye on where this guy is because they know he's a big part of this offensive success to throw it's Howard they'll throw it to the back on the screen they make the stop but not before the screen has hit him for a first down and much more really good execution by this offense well they pick up the first down there on the screen I love the offensive line there allowing the pass rush to get way up the field they completely baited their guys made them think that they got beaten that they were going to get the sack and then they sneak the running back SC right in behind them and pick up the first the give to the running back from the shotgun some really tough running there gets him to the 45 yd line and the Buckeyes come to the line in the hurry up it'll be a run on Third and short that'll be enough for the first down as they stop him at the 43 yd line hard to imagine this is only their first drive of the game but their defense was on the field for virtually an entire quarter so guys there's a lot of pressure on this offense here to convert this third down so their defense can stay on the side line and get their win back and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete after the missfire it's second and 10 quickly out out to the tight end and he goes out of bounds after a nice pickup on that one time winding down in the quarter as they come to the line trying to pick it up on the ground and a good pick up there they'll move the sticks for a first down let's see if they try to get another snap before the quarter expires the buck eyes come to the line with a new set of downs it's been a defensive battle through the first period and the stats tell that tale both sides trying to find a little rhythm and efficiency and move the ball some here as we start the second quarter back at it to open the quarter with this first down play [Applause] they'll ride the hot hand they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one that linebacker was a heat seeking missile and the heat that he sought was the ball carrier yeah great job great feel linebackers are making all the calls in the defense and understanding when I need to come through that Gap and come through with bad intentions those guys are usually 245 lbs of heat seeking missile dropping back it's how feeling some heat and the defense gets home and makes a play at the 37 yd line I'm not positive but that first down marker might be in the next County quarterback checking off offense calls a timeout here critically important to make sure they have the right play called and everyone on the same page [Applause] here this is a third and long let's go looking to throw and he needs a chunk play safe completion on the screen well that time on Third and long they just took what the defense gave them nothing down the field they were hoping maybe he could make somebody Miss after the catch wasn't able to do it so now it sets up fourth on fourth down looking for the completion complete and looking for enough for the first down and he cruises his way to the house touchdown Bucky and what did I start for this offense the throw game getting working getting the touchdown pass this quarterback getting a little bit of confidence this passing game getting in a rhythm nice start for this off offense and with the extra point they get the first seven of the game almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown he thought about bringing that out for a half second but he'll take a knee and they'll bring it to the 25 Indiana has the ball back and the hoer offense comes out ready to go a really disappointing end of that last Drive David getting stopped on Fourth and goal they'll try to regroup and and I think I'm preaching to my squad right now listen we drove the ball down the field we didn't just punch it in let's put another drive together Jesse and this time let's get some points you're right because there were a lot of positives on that last Drive they did a lot of things really well they just got to do a better job finishing he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple you know you got to be careful when you're running the draw play because you're hoping those defensive ends get way up the field thinking it's pass didn't happen that time and the defense was able to get a negative play on Third and long you'll need to push it down field fires and picked off and they'll close in on him after a good return on the interception this is obviously not a great start for this quarterback here two interceptions already in this game he's got to do a much better job with his decision making they'll crank up this drive with the pass catch in the middle it's Scott and he laid made the lumber to stop him from getting the first down I don't think he was the primary receiver on that play David but a very productive pickup on first down and these tight ends are so good at understanding zones and where to sit down and listen it's not the huge game down the field but it's always Death By A Thousand Cuts small Gams great tackles and continue to move the sticks they've moved it into scoring territory first and 10 from the 11 here we looking to throw it's Howard makes the grab he thought he might turn that into a score but the defense able to wrestle him down short they'll stop him at the three they'll ride the running back and leave it with him and he takes it to the house touchdown Ohio State this offense is so good man they can hurt you in so many different ways and they do it so quick so explosive they can put small Drives together big Drives together they've really had a great year and that's why they're a top 10 offense lining up for the Pat and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and Clos to deal with a threey touchdown run and they desperately wanted to attempt a return but decided not to instead they'll take the Touchback Indiana sends the offense onto the field this is when the pressure can ramp up a little bit on an offense David when they start feeling the heat to answer a score and I think being down 14 you can kind of feel that way but dude if you put a good drive together this is a seven-point game no need to pay it I was just going to say David I mean this thing can flip quick you go down score all of a sudden your defense gets a stop or who knows better yet gets a turnover this game is entirely different this offense has a second down play wide receiver now comes in motion try to get the edge with a quick touch pass nice solid form tackle from this sophomore well and on these little push passes timing is so important you're trying to snap it right as he's getting a full head of steam when he gets the ball he's hitting the outside and David it puts the defense in such a difficult spot you immediately have to be rotating when you see that motion so everybody's got to communicate and kind of bump over that's why offenses love to run it just it makes the defense communicate and see if you can just get them out of a spot one of the things I love about this defense is they just have such great awareness and they're always communicating they understood the down and distance they knew exactly what they needed to do to make the tackle to force the punt that is so well done and that is just a spectacular Punt and he will pin them in the shadow of their own goal post inside the five the Buckeyes roll that offense back out there they've jumped on them executing at a high level and up 14 nothing David this is the exact start you wanted I mean offense is playing great defense has gotten stops you're in a position now Palmer to put the hammer down and get a three possession lead I'm really impressed with their physicality on both sides of the ball early in this one they've been winning in the trenches so here on offense keep running the football and show your dominance we've reached a two-minute warning and they will try to build on what has already been a dominant first half performance [Applause] let's see what they've got on second down2 SP SPID looking for a man it's Howard using the back as a receiver on the screen they make the stop but not before the screen has hit him for a first down and much more really good execution by this offense and there you go you see you don't have to throw bombs to get big plays in the passing game just screen it to your running back as soon as he catches it he gets up field and how about the downfield blocking by these linemen and the wide receivers as they rip off that explosive play I want to get my running backs the ball in space as much as possible and sometimes it doesn't work in the running game but I can throw it to him I can try to create some space out wide dump him the football let him make some catches and see if I can't get some big he's going up top he hold it in and nobody's close and he'll take it in they couldn't get him on the ground touchdown Buckey and coming into the game you look at the stats and you say top 10 offense in scoring so they better be able to create what explosive plays another explosive plays they've been doing it all year long those plays are back Breakers defenses just can't contain this offense about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown coming out with it it's price and the returner could find no daylight he goes down Indiana has the ball back and the hoer offense comes out ready to go these guys have taken some body blows in the first half but now a chance to do something to feel a little better going into halftime ree they got to respond now they they they got to put points on the board right here cut into this deficit create a little bit of momentum cuz this this one's going to get out of hand otherwise yeah there are a lot of offenses out there that might just say okay let's just regroup and figure it out this offense doesn't have time to do that they've got to be aggressive they've got to throw it down field they've got to score points just a bit of a misfire there as they can't make the connection they'll line up for a second down play looking to throw it's Roar this one's complete at the 4 there he goes big big gain on that one as he steps out of bounds with a first down and as a defense how scary is it having to defend this guy he's one of the fastest players in America and you saw it on that last play it's not necessarily throwing him the ball over your head they just get it to him quickly the hard part now is running and tackling that guy not easy to do finally this offense starting to show a little juice they got a first and 10 he wants to throw got it in the middle it's price defense is there to make the stop but he's got the first down and they'll have it first and goal with the six a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half looking to throw they're bringing heat not much of a chance there he just had to get rid of it to avoid the sack and the D deny them on second and goal defense trying to keep this offense from getting alive on who to block going for six reels it in in the end zone touchdown hooers man nice job getting the passing game going th this is big man going to the half and listen I know you're trailing but building so momentum maybe this second half we can keep airing the football out cutting into this deficit and who knows what the heck will happen and after the extra point they're now down 21 to and for a quick update let's go to Kevin Conor's in the studio terrific Showdown this week guys let's take a look at what's going on Notre Dame is ahead in this one but unlike the days of Rodney and Ley this has not been a blowout in South Bend today they're up by a field goal over Army we'll Circle back if anything big happens you should know about thanks for the update on that one Kevin let us know when it goes final this drive will open from the 15 easy wasting no time throwing on this drive makes the grab it's Judkins they make the stop right there good pickup it's still short of the first down set up for second and short after that completion now the quarterback changing the original play call on second down wants to throw he's got it on the right the offense calls timeout and they won't have any more left this half what a beautiful throw and catch and I'll tell you sometimes when you're throwing the go route you can overanalyze things and think what coverage do we want it against what matchup are we looking for but if I've got a guy outside that I know can go make a play I don't care I'm throwing it up and I'm letting him go make a play one big play and you go from a little backed up to threatening it's first and 10 from the 40 back to throw it's Howard he's not afraid to go deep and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge gain if he could have squeezed it just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before halftime and back to the air on second down oh he loves to fire down field and this one's going to be incomplete he was trying to make the connection in the back corner of the end zone this defense is going to have to make some adjustments here at halftime because they have been taken advantage of deep down the field in the passing game they've already given up two TD passes that was almost number three and we're only in the first [Applause] half trying to move the sticks on third down through the air he can haul it in incomplete they took a shot but that's how we'll wrap up the half that's the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin in our halftime update guys who's had a better seat there in Columbus for an entertaining first half than you the passing game for both sides has been outstanding on point unrelenting they've excelled in the short game the intermediate game and especially on the Deep ball all in all a thrilling display of offensive Firepower and these defenses have a lot to discuss here at halftime and with that we send it back to the guys in the shoe all right Kevin about ready to get things cranked back up here we are ready to get it started here in the second half here he comes from inside as zone five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 here comes the Ohio State offense onto the field they got plenty done through the air in the first half and we'll see if they even need to look for balance as we start the third quarter well and I and I think defensively you understand like the running game isn't a big part of the plan I wonder how they adjust and play more coverage to this pass happy offense yeah so you're going to have to be ready if you're a quarterback then you're probably going to see some different going downfield for the big play and it's incomplete they were looking for the huge gain on first down bad news on that play it's an incompletion the good news is the quarterback knew if his guy wasn't going to catch it nobody was with that ball Landing out of pounds they'll try the Run they'll knock him down after a pick up of one to the 18 and a lot of times you want those big plays you want those Splash plays but sometimes you're going to take some losses you're not going to run the football overly well but if you continue to run it you can at least create some balance you at least have the threat of it otherwise you're just going to abandon it and now it's just going to be a passing [Applause] game on Third and long try to convert through the air and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete the Buckey will try to pin them back with the punt the punter going to get his first work of the afternoon a fair catch taken just inside the 40 yd line Indiana sends the offense onto the field last time they had it they took it down the field for a touchdown they can build some confidence that they could go backto back scoring drives here yeah and remember it's not uncommon for offenses to find themselves as the game goes on they had some things not go their way early but they found something last Drive David let's see if they can build on it yeah you you you just pick and pick and pick until you find that place where you're like okay this is an advantage I have they clearly found that dude they score here we're in for a ball game this offense has to get this guy the ball in as many ways as possible he showed you all of his tools on that last play here's the handoff able to scr three yards out of that one somehow it's second and seven got a little work done on first down now back to the line looking downfield it's Roar going to try to pop one on the screen they finally get him stopped but what a good job by that front wall to set up the screen and create some lanes for their running back and the hooers are rolling down the field looking to move it through the air finds his tight end and he broke one tackle on the way to a Sol pick up there the crowd getting behind this defense as they try to get a stop in the Red Zone on second down he's looking downfield caught close to the marker it's Williams and they reacted well to the completion but it was too late to keep them from getting the first down it is getting loud as this crowd tries to help its defense touchdown Indiana you thought they were done they're not they're back baby this guy is officially a problem his second receiving touchdown of the game nice job by the offense dude if I've got a matchup I like continue to pick at it until they stop it about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown he'll start the return inside his SP didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 the Buckeyes rolled that offense back out there after giving up that last touchdown they still got the lead but now feeling a little bit of pressure to answer with one of their own David and it gets a little bit tight listen we're getting later in the ball game this offense punted last time they got to find a few plays Palmer that they really love here Ste some momentum back in this ball game they do David and after watching their defense just get gashed down the field that last Drive the dream drive for this offense would be to matriculate the ball down the field eat up some clock and finish it off with a touchdown and a great job by the QB finding the running back getting the football where he can do some damage after the catch and most importantly get the first down quarterback will audible to the air on first down snagged in the middle it's auka and that's a very productive first down play and bringing up second and three [Applause] from the shotgun the hand off to the back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one you know the one thing you can say about this defense they pursue the football the first guy might miss the second guy might miss but there's going to be more and more hats flying to the ball carry you saw it on that play getting the tackle for loss get it out on the screen and they wrap him up but not before he gets enough on the catch for the first down well offensive coordinators put in countless hours every week trying to for me and use different Personnel groupings and shifts and motions to give their offense a success on third down you can tell in this game this offensive coordinator he has put in the work this didn't have much room to run and not a whole lot of help short game there and still plenty of ground to cover for the first down trying to get a rhythm in the passing game now on second down to the air it's Howard getting some heat he makes the connection and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that one a nice job by the QB there timing out that drag throw it's Zone coverage so he's got to make sure he gets it to his receiver in a window to allow him to catch the ball and then turn it up field he's got first down yardage as they move it to the 44 third and Ines everybody knows what's coming but it's so dang hard to stop and you better get penetration with that def defensive line that didn't do a good enough job running back Falls forward and does his job fast motion from the offense not able to hook up the air incomplete well give the defense credit because they're forcing this quarterback to throw into very small Windows under duress they are controlling the ball ninth play of the drive the give to the tail back they'll get him stopped at the 34 he's got 10 yds on that one and a first down and the Buckeyes come to the line with a fresh set of downs leaves it with the back makes the tackle at the 23 yd line give him 10 yds and enough for the first down defense has to be frustrated the offense keeps matriculating and matriculating and matriculating the ball down the field they'll throw it on first down they're setting up the screen he's R out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down so so close to cashing it in for this offense with the run on first and goal he pushes his way down to the four as they get closer and closer the see if they can get it done on second and goal 25 well guys Ohio state has the lead here and as we switch ends of the field let's take a quick look at the national rankings not only is the scoreboard on their side but so too is time as we open the fork got it they'd love to start this quarter off with a touchdown right here they give him the rock again on second and goal he steps and powers and works his way they finally get him down at the two and with the stuff there Jesse on second down this little third to midrange you got two downs what are you thinking here maybe getting your cour into the end zone he goes touchdown Ohio State that's what finishing the deal looks like build the lead in the fourth quarter and close in on 11 straight Victory and the extra point is true and they have a two touchdown lead up 14 in the fourth and the running back gets his second rushing touchdown of the game you want to continue to feed this guy you can tell he's got a nose for the End Zone knows how to get in there knows how to make things happen and they thought about a return Then thought better of it they'll bring it out to the 25 Indiana has the ball back and the hoer offense comes out ready to go now they need to put something together to answer that last score there's a lot of pressure too on this offense to have to to execute at a high level they've got to score points David but they can't go too fast cuz their defense right now is tired and I think that's the difficulty being a play callard like I have to balance all of those things my defense is a little bit tired I can't put on the field but I got to be aggressive because this is a back and forth type game so a lot to process and think about yeah and David you just wonder at this point is it just too little too late this is one of their best Playmakers offensively but they just haven't been able to get him going in this game big reason why they're losing yeah and the defense has done a great job understanding that I got to take that guy away that's priority number one understand it late in the game now up by multiple scores I'm playing my defense a little bit different can't give up the big plays time is on my side and man some people just have a knack for the football and he's one of those guys and he just gets the SWAT right there but he's in the top 10 of the nation in in interceptions for a reason just such a great feel for the passing game and where guys are it's just it's fun to watch him play defense he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense just another big play for this guy who spent the entire game wide open couple of touchdowns there and he moves the sticks Again David yeah so I'll keep finding him Reese I mean this is a guy that listen we're in the second half now he's already made plays I know I can trust him so I'm going to continue to feature him in this offense cuz I know he'll continue to make big plays a nice job by the defense there tackling the catch and smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perfect coverage and nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to do touchdown hooers and the comeback is on lead in the game and the confidence is building if only there's enough time to finish time is ticking but man you gave yourself a chance now now the defense go out do your job we got the moment if you give me the ball back I'm going to win let's go defense lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive he'll bring it back from inside to five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 here comes the Ohio State offense onto the field and they've got a little bit of a cushion here David if they can add to it on this drive it would be nice and it definitely makes a little bit of a difference knowing I'm up by more than a field goal obviously Jesse my mindset switches and I know I can't make mistakes yeah and David I don't think they have to looking to take a shot brings it down on the right side and a pickup of better than 30 yds on that completion before the defense brings him down man this guy has had an amazing year all season long he has stepped up and made plays for his team when he needed it most and with that last completion he's now crossed he'll take a shot pulls it in in the end zone touchdown Buckey you can see it on the sideline they built a comfortable fourth quarter lead and they know they're going to go 11 and0 it's hard for a defense to have to cover so much space when the offense goes empty you get receivers and tight ends and running backs lined up out wide you've got to expand and it's harder to cover on the back end trying to pass down their way in he's got the two-point conversion and they build on that lead almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and no chance at a return here they'll start this drive at their own 25 Indiana sends the offense onto the field they'll put this one in play first snap of the drive from the [Applause] 25 they're going to throw it to start the drive grabbed in the middle it's Horton good call good execution as they move the chains and they have a first down at the 38 a new set of downs after the completion trying to find his man on first down and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again to the air it's Ro grabs it in the middle and get him on the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down well down two possessions good news is you get the completion bad news though did not get out of bounds you know right now saving the clock that is at a premium for this offense they keep attacking through the air it's a mid stride inside the 10 gets it into the end zone but wait a minute we'll have to check out the laundry on the field defense was a little anxious there got caught off Sid the penalty will be declined and give him the touchdown [Applause] how about this a two-point conversion coming they want to throw it makes the grab for the two-point conversion as they cut further into that lead quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and they capped off the drive with a big play through the air scoring from 50 yds out about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown let's see what he can do with the return nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 the Buckeyes roll that offense back out there and now that cushion is a little bit smaller Jesse and any mistake would get magnified yeah a little bit of pressure now on this offense too David I think they got to go back to their Playmakers and get these guys going in the game no doubt find those plays those plays you know you can run them in your sleep you make sure you execute build this lead a little bit bigger put this thing away in the fourth quarter didn't get much on first down it's second and nine looking to pass it's Howard setting up the screen and they knocked him down but he got pass the line to game you know it's a nice throw by the QB there when you're throwing to running backs you got to make it easy on them so you want to put it right on their body make the catch simple and let them go to work like they did just there getting that first they'll put it in play from the 27 first down 29 Philly two they'll keep it on the ground the clock is on their side good solid pickup on that one they've got it out to the 40 and it's first down the Buckeyes come to the line with a new set of downs going up top on first down and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball and the big tight end a lot of times that's a bigger Strike Zone a bigger dude and you could tell they put the hit on him and that ball came out and it came to the turf nice job playing physical by this defense he got the screen set up not a whole lot of room there on that screen pass as it just never developed and that's kind of a lot of today's running game right spit the ball out quick get it to your Playmakers in space get positive yards it's instead of running the ball a couple yards up the middle now you just spit it out wide and a lot of times if you break a few tackles it could be even bigger third and long from the 42 if they can get some of it it might give them a chance to go for it on fourth down they're trying to get to it got it set up on the outside good tackle there to stop him short of the first down it'll bring up a big decision timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible they have the lead in a one possession game but there thinking deliver The Knockout blow but this carries big time risk on fourth down complete out of the back field makes the grab and it's enough for the first down before he's dragged to the ground defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense now they've got it at the 44 on First and [Applause] 10 give to the back good execution they moved the sticks and they've got it at the 33 quick timeout call by the defense stopping the clock to save as much time as possible for their offense all the way down at the 33 yd line it's first and 10 to the ground he's got it again and he does a really nice job finding open space and making a good gain before the stop is made in situations like this offensively when you got the lead in the fourth quarter when you got to run the ball you go back to the runs that you have the most confidence in that you can execute in your sleep and they do it right there ripping off seven yards wouldn't be surprised to see them go right back to the run on second down and maybe put this thing away from the gun running back gets to give just a solid stopped by this sophomore [Applause] Here Comes third and short from the 24 and this offense does not want to send out the field goal unit they'll try to run for it and a really nice run and pick up there before the defense avoided disaster and stopped the really big play and as they come to the line they have the lead and they have the clock on their side first and goal they'll try to get it in with the Run pulled down for the [Applause] [Applause] tackle well this was an offensive showcase out there today we thought it would be a high-scoring game and it certainly delivered if you love offense then you love this type of game both offenses going up and down the field seem ly it will throwing the ball running the ball but David I feel like if you're a fan of Defense maybe this is wasn't your cup of tea ah more defense optional you didn't really get too much of that stuff but you know listen you got to get a few stops late in the game you got to get one actually just kind of one stop with this many points that was being scored you got the stop late that's why you got the dub and that's going to
