hello hello everyone I'm Nessa and I want to say a huge thank you for tuning in to another episode of the crime tapes podcast stick around because today we've got a story that has reverberated through an entire Community leaving more questions than answers but before we dive in I want to express my utmost gratitude to all of you our incredible listeners your support is the lifeblood of what we do without it the crime tape simply couldn't exist we all know life's been a bit of a whirlwind lately and we genuinely appreciate your patience as we Wade through it our promise is to keep those episodes coming as regularly as possible so stay with us and thank you for your loyalty now let's delve into today's case imagine walking into your office on a usual Friday morning absorbed in the hustle and bustle of work life you're ready to tackle the day ahead now imagine still sitting at your desk 4 days later and not a soul has noticed that you haven't moved this was the chilling reality for Denise prudom a dedicated Wells Fargo employee who was found dead at her workstation 4 days after clocking in for the day this unsettling event took place in Tempe Arizona turning a mere office cubicle into the setting of a tragic mystery Denise a punctual and dedicated employee had clocked in at 7:00 a.m. on August 16th just as she did every day however the events that would unfold around her over the next few days would completely obliterate any semblance of routine Denise's colleagues would be forced to Grapple with the horrifying truth of how lonely she had become even within the bustling surroundings of her office an office designed for collaboration communication and connection had become her solitary confinement her lifeless body was discovered on August 20th when someone reported a subject down she had been left at her desk overlooked by the countless people who walked by engrossed in their own routines arriving responders declared Denise dead at the scene at 4:55 p.m. marking the end of this Dreadful occurrence Denise's desk was located on the third floor away from the main passageways perhaps offering an explanation as to why she remained unnoticed for so long more unsettling though are the reports of a foul smell brushed off as a plumbing problem it's a harsh reminder of how the mundane can sometimes act as a veil hiding the extraordinary and in this instance tragically so a fellow employee choosing to remain anonymous expressed a chilling thought when speaking to local media it's really heartbreaking and I'm thinking what if I were just sitting there no one would check on me the thought of Den's last moments in isolation is distressing driving home the reality of the disconnection we can experience within our social spheres in the wake of this tragic incident Wells Fargo issued a heartfelt statement expressing their deepor sorrow over Denise's untimely death condoling her family and ensuring support for their employees through this troubling time authorities from the Tempe Police are currently assisting with the ongoing investigation into this perplexing case however as the investigation continues and no signs of Foul Play are apparent the Eerie discomfort surrounding Denise's passing persists this case is a chilling wake-up call to the isolating existence that can lurk even in the most seemingly interconnected environments and it serves as a reminder for all of us to be aware and to care deeply for those we brush past during our everyday lives this case is as much a tragic mystery as it is a dark mirror held up to our society it forces us to question and confront the uncomfortable truths about the lives we're all living how we connect and sometimes tragically how we fall through the cracks Denise prud Ham's story will undoubtedly remain with us a poignant reminder to never take those around us for granted lastly I want to thank you all once again for joining me Nessa on the crime tapes today your presence on this deep and thought-provoking journey means the world to us we hope this case resonates with you maybe prompting A Renewed concern for the connections we have with those around us we're eager to know what you think your feedback helps us to refine and tailor the content for you our listeners so if there's a case you are deeply fascinated by or a story you believe deserves to be heard please don't hesitate to send us a message until the next episode please take care of yourself and those surrounding you remember to check the show notes for any pertinent details or articles mentioned in today's episode thank you for tuning into to the crime tapes and we look forward to welcoming you back next time with yet another intriguing dialogue
