F K Peacock NBC Greedy Double Dipping Streaming Service NFL Packer Eagle Coverage

okay greetings brothers and sisters I don't make videos here regularly anymore I used to make videos about Hollywood celebrities dropping like flies here and then also things to do with sports and sometimes they they would crisscross because there was these athletes that would you know drop like flies so this is about peacock NBC Peacock unbelievably greedy and just absolutely stupid Network and their you know their decisions here about how to stream their football games now you don't have to be a football fan or even care about football to understand how egregious this is so NBC has a streaming service called peacock where they have all the NBC shows all that crap and then they have their exclusive um uh content for peacock and so it's a free service with commercials or you can pay to have the non-commercial based you know subscription model which all these TV networks are going to you know the the Netflix model where you pay a monthly subscription to stream content and so last year they streamed a football game which I talked about this very same thing as they did last night the second game of the SE uh this football season which was a special Friday night game where the Green Bay Packers played the Philadelphia Eagles in I believe Brazil in South America somewhere and with their remedial video player and their greedy mentality you have to watch the game from beginning to end nonstop you can't pause it you can't fast forward you can't rewind and you can't tape it so you have to watch all their content all their commercials all their self-promotional things that you could fast forward under any other streaming service or if you like I have Direct TV and so I can just fast forward through the you know I can tape a game and then fast forward through it right which is the only way I can watch football and I'll get into that in a moment but I also pay for peacock's streaming service my wife and I I watch a few things on peacock and you know you can unsubscribe and and just get the regular peacock version you know you retain your account and then resubscribe later which is a good thing to do with some of these these apps right these streaming services and when you want to watch something on their streaming service there might be a few things you want to watch you can resubscribe for a couple of months but I was already subscribed and I turned on the football game and it started with a minute to go in the first half and I realized you know what I realized last year during the playoffs is that they don't allow you to even go to something else watch something else and come back and start from where you left off I there's no fast forwarding there's no rewinding but I'm already paying these right and they want me to watch their commercials on top of it which is egregious and in terms of the streaming world it's like a crime right because you're paying for the ability to not watch commercials right you're paying the streaming services the ability to fast forward through things if you don't want to watch parts of whatever the content is right you don't want to watch especially Sports where there's so much that you don't need to listen to but the other thing is that you know you you often don't want to watch something straight through you have to do other things you have to you know I mean whatever it might be like my wife and I do a prayer at 9 900 p.m. every you know whatever we have these things that we do but now you have to watch it like you can't you have a three-hour football game you have to sit there watching it from the beginning to end you know with no ability to pause or doing anything things that modern technology would allow you to do and so that just sucks right and like I said I can understand them doing that it's not smart but doing that for people who don't have the paid subscription it sucks for them to do that but if you're paying for the subscription it just pisses you off right like it should be a massive boycott and a big you to them for doing that not just because of the you know it's just the greediness of it and just the incompetence and the the all of it like it's you know seems like a small thing but you know there are rules to these subscription based modeled um internet services streaming services and the rules are you pay for you know the ability to avoid wasting your time like one of my biggest things personally is I don't want to waste time I'm older I don't really care about football that much anymore know I used to be a big Sports guy used to play sports and most of my friends were Sports people you know jocks this type of personality you know people used to bet on sports watch a lot of sports my family you know has Sports oriented I don't have those people in my life anymore you know the only reason I watch sports now I mean I enjoy it some of the time is because it's very familiar to a like a past life like I you know I don't care about like I used to and you know since I've been able to tape games it's a complete blessing because there are things that I don't want to watch which is in football it's the time off you know it's not just the timeouts and the commercial breaks but it's the droning on of the announcers saying the same old and explain stuff to you that you just saw and all the plays that don't require you know that aren't spectacular enough to deserve a replay and all the stuff in this the game that really isn't all that significant all the time out between the between plays you can just fast forward it and Direct TV has a great system for fast forwarding as do many other apps YouTube TV is is one of the better ones but Amazon and P are not good because if you want to fast forward between plays you're talking about 20 seconds of fast 40 and the peacock app just flies through if you're fast forward or you rewind you know when you can do that I you can't do that in the football game so e even if you could they would allow you to fast forward and Rewind and pause the rap sucks at it and Amazon that also Amazon has that same problem because the way that the Direct TV works and YouTube TV works as you can see there's a box there like it does on regular YouTube videos you know sometimes I reuse clips for my content and YouTube has this little box and I can see where it is in the video and you know it's very effective because I fast forward and Rewind all the time on YouTube and then on these apps right Hulu is one of the better ones too I think maybe Netflix I'm not sure but if you're going to have streaming services you have to have a quality video player you have to have an easy access to fast forward the next episode if somehow um you know sometimes you're watching something and it it brings you back to an old the previous episode something like that right and so there are better streaming players on there right there's some really good streaming services that do all the things that I said and it's allows you not to waste time but if you fast forward and you go too far and you got to back up and you're just wasting too much time this is you know as I've getting older I realize that you know my time is precious right and I can't afford a three-hour football game and I don't want to sit through the commercials and all the bullshits it's not worth it for me and so if I'm going to watch a football game it's going to be like in an hour and if it's a blowout I can fast forward to see if the other team comes back and if they don't you know I can just you know watch something else or do something else right and so you know it's time isn't other than watching the game itself there's not much time that's being wasted and that's what streaming is great about streaming with the invention of too and these other um type of applications where you could tape content it allowed you to fast forward to all the you didn't want to see and it just you know it makes it for a better experience and once you have that it's almost impossible to go back and so peacock with their sucky greedy idea to make you and force you even if you're paying them double dipping these double dipping right who not only want your subscription money but want to sit through their crappy commercials and their self-promotional in a game that's only televised on their Network and they have a remedial player so even if they did allow you to fast forward it would still suck you know they want to win people over to their service but it's a big you to you and everybody else especially the people are paying for their service to do that right it's a total dick move and it should have the opposite effect like I want to you know just whatever hashtags I can think of about how peacock sucks because it sucks for doing this right like it sucks for being this like greedy and this stupid like it's just bad business you know if you're going to get a streaming service you should have a video player that does all the things I said and the other thing is you should have a video player that when you're clicking through the various thumbnails you know which thumbnail you're on right like there's some of them they get slightly bigger but almost it's almost imperceivable and you're like am I on this one or am I on this one right and you click on you're like oh it's the wrong one you know for all this technology that we have a lot of it just Wast time these TVs now that that run advertised content your TV is recommending things and you know making it difficult for you to get to the app that you want and all this right then and then um logging you out of the app you know there's just all these things where you know and the other day my the TV wanted me to to you know do some kind of a you know uh update my software on it I'm like Jesus Christ just I was better off when I used to have to get up and turn the knob when I was a little kid on those little round black and white TVs and you know remedial color TVs that were you know small in nature and we watch freaking The Brady Bunch on it you know back in the 70s right like I was better off with that than you know all the the time I waste on this so-called improved technology for you know 4K type of visual effects but like it's so difficult to get to the the content you're watching and you now you have all these apps and you have to go back and forth between all of them and all this stuff and you know it's just um I mean it hasn't gotten better in terms of like you waste more time like technology is supposed to save your time in many cases it doesn't but you know I just want to put this out to the universe peacock sucks you greedy you know like it's just you greedy bastards and you should do something about it right like this is it's just bad form like there's rules of etiquette and there's rules within the streaming community and you violated all of them you have a crappy player and you're forcing people pay for your service to watch ads and you know that's just wrong that's wrong on every level and the other thing is I waited for the game to be over and I saw that was pretty close at halftime so I thought I would you know uh watch the game I thought they would put it up after the game's over and they don't even do that the game disappears I remember that was for the playoff game last year so they don't even let you fast forward through it out they don't let you tape it at all which is like another big you to you cuz like you know if you can avoid looking at your phone and and not finding out the score is and you want to watch part of the game or all the game and you just have to wait till it's over of course it's going to be late at night because it's a nighttime game on top of it right but you know if it wasn't let's say you could tape the game and just watch it later then you could fast forward through all their and they don't even allow you to do that like so it's just a complete fail a greedy you know just a greedy bastard type of approach to their streaming service and I hope they get a lot of backlash for all of this right it's just wrong to do it you know people have a way of watching sports now and you've completely wrecked that and you brought everyone back to the 1970s and you're making them pay a subscription fee for it so congratulations peacock like you suck like at every possible level and you know it's one football game like you're making people come to your to your network and get your app and get register on your app to watch one football game so you better not piss them off right like if they leave being pissed off it's a bad experience then you know you've defeated you've made it worse cuz like their first impression of you is like you suck right you're all you greedy you know like let's say somebody signed up and said all right they're a Packer fan you know Packer fans are e or even Eagle fans they're both you know these crazy fans they sign up and they sign up for the premium package cuz they're like all right you just for that one game and they're paying for it and they realize they can't fast forward or they come home late or something and they miss half the game or whatever and they're like what is this and they can't even figure out you're stupid player and they're getting frustrated and they you know you just destroyed your brand like they're pissed at you now they they hate you for you know being sucky like just being greedy and sucky and and not realizing what it's like you know a lot of these people don't understand what it's like to watch stuff you know they're not fans of these things they're business people and so they haven't used other streaming services and if they did they don't even they're not conscious of all the things that I've said right and the things that should go into they should sit in a room and go all right let's make a video player what do we want to have on this video player you get a good video player that doesn't crash that can do all the things that I said earlier and that's how you build your service so you first you get a quality video player and then you make sure that there's a distinction between free content and and paid content you let people know and like you you should be able to tell them like you know when you're you're going there there's there's Arrow so it looks like you can fast forward and Rewind and so you're banging on your remote wondering why thing doesn't work and like all this stuff right and so all those things should go into I'm just talking about competence and you know and understanding the rules that people have you know what what they're paying for and what they think about streaming service and comparing to other streaming services and you know everything they did was bad and wrong and stupid and it was a complete fail so I just thought I throw that up on this channel I you know I'm not Mak as much content here and you know I'm making so much content my my regular channel the pox of future Channel but I felt like this needed to be said and I'll say it again if they do this in the playoffs hopefully they fix this problem and you know and they just need to get it like I you it's just one of those things where people just don't get it you know people just don't get anymore people are just oblivious I mean it becomes more and more I mean you know every day people walking around Walmart bumping into and you know the rest of it then these corporate Executives and morons and they just make stupid incompetent decisions politicians and they just don't get it right you know if they got it this you know was very simple you would just you would go oh my God we can't have this like this is you know we've we've paid all this money to have this exclusive football game second game of the season right you know the before this weekend of football and you know this is a big game it's in a foreign country first game in South America and all these things and we're going to bring people to our Act let's make sure they want to come back or they want to stay signed up and they did the exact opposite like it's a complete like up on their part you peacock you greedy mfers and and and the horse you wrote in on right only spirituality will save this world it's parado definitely from
