I FEEL LIKE A BONE IS IN MY STOMACH. I SAY TO MY WIFE, COME OVER HERE. SHE SAYS YOU WANT TO GET THAT CHECKED OUT. NO, IT DOESN'T HURT. WHERE GOING TO MONTANA AND I DON'T WANT TO DO IT. WENT TO MONTANA FOR TWO MONTHS, HAD A GREAT TIME. COME BACK AND WERE GOING TO START THE SHOW AGAIN IN A COUPLE WEEKS. I SAID I BETTER GET THE THING CHECKED OUT. THEY TAKE AN MRI, CT SCAN. YOU HAVE A 12 BY 9-INCH MASS IN YOUR STOMACH, MR. BRIDGES. LYMPHOMA. THERE WAS NO PAIN. I LOOK AT SEASON ONE, I'M GETTING HIT IN THE STOMACH. I HAVE THIS NINE BY 12 TUMOR! >> Stephen: THAT'S HOW TOUGH YOU ARE. >> Jeff: IT DIDN'T HURT. NOWHERE DID I LEAVE OFF? OH, YEAH. THEY FIND THE RIGHT COCKTAIL FOR THIS LYMPHOMA. THEY GET RID OF -- IT'S WORKING. SO HAPPY. THIS WAS ALL HAPPENING ON JANUARY 6TH, BY THE WAY. >> Stephen: ON JANUARY 6, 20.1. 20.1. >> A COMEBACK AND I SAY MY CANCER IS GOING DOWN. OH COME OF THE TV. LOOK, THAT'S WEIRD. >> Stephen: ANOTHER FORM OF CANCER. >> Jeff: YEAH! THEN I GET A LETTER FROM THE TREATMENT CENTER SAYING YOU'VE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID. I SAY WELL, WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN? THE TREATMENT WAS STRIPPING ME OF ALL MY IMMUNE SYSTEM. IN THE COVID MADE THE CANCER LOOK LIKE NOTHING. I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR FIVE WEEKS. GOT THE MORTALITY THING RIGHT THERE. FOR MY WIFE, IT WAS PROBABLY WORSE, I THINK FOR MY FAMILY GOING THROUGH THAT. AND THEN IT WAS A SLOW RECOVERY. I DIDN'T THINK I WAS GOING TO GO BACK TO WORK BUT IT TURNED OUT I COULD GO BACK. ALL THE CAST AND CREW. IT WAS LIKE WE HAD A LONG WEEKEND BASICALLY. IT WAS CRAZY. SUSAN, MARRIED 45 -- >> Jeff: 47 YEARS AGO. WE'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER 50 YEARS. >> Stephen: NICELY DONE. YOU ARE UP IN MONTANA. I KNOW YOU GUYS LIVE UP IN MONTANA. WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH MONTANA? >> Jeff: I DID A MOVIE UP THERE WITH CLINT EASTWOOD. A YOUNG GUY IN MY 20s, RIDING A HARLEY UP THERE. THEN I DID A MOVIE CALLED "RANCHO DELUXE CLOSE TO WHERE I MET MY WIFE. >> Stephen: WAS SHE WORKING ON THE MOVIE? >> Jeff: NO. WE WERE SHOOTING AT CHICO HOT SPRINGS. DOING A SCENE AND HARRY DEAN STANTON NIC THIS GORGEOUS GIRL. SHE HAS TWO BLACK EYES AND A BROKEN NOSE. SOMETHING ABOUT THAT BEAUTY JUXTAPOSED WITH THE DISFIGUREMENT, I'D COULDN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF HER. >> Stephen: THAT'S A MAKEUP TIP FOR YOU LADIES UP THERE. GET YOURSELF A JEFF BRIDGES TYPE.
