Boulder Colorado one of the most picturesque locations in the world let alone for college football and you will see plenty of buffalos roaming here we're really looking forward to this matchup you've got a team that's made its way into the top 25 now trying to pass an all important road test as we'll see the number 22 team in the country the Washington Huskies squaring off with another team from the Pack 12 the Colorado Buffalo glad to have you with us for EA Sports college football I'm Rees Davis David Po and Justin Palmer with me in the booth likely to try to boot it deep to get things started here he comes from inside his own five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 so Colorado's offense will get the first crack added here and this guy is a big time star just an electricity follows him onto the field he's a Workhorse too reys this is a definition of a bcow running back he can carry the load for his offense and put his football team on his back now on second down after the incompletion leaves it with the back can't get him to the ground and as an offensive coordinator you don't need the perfect play with this guy as your running back going to make the play perfect for you because he makes everybody miss spin moves hurdles stiff arms speed whatever it takes to move the sticks and score touchdowns and they did not let him get to that first down line it'll bring up a call here and the buffalos decide to pun it away the punter going to get his first work of the afternoon everybody stays in their Lanes well enough and they stop him at the 31 Y Line so the Washington Huskies offense will get the ball for the first time I know what a weapon he is on the outside but stretching the field against this dude in the secondary will be a challenge and just some safeties had it the awareness the ability to see the ball to break on the football and he's one of those guys this QB better be looking to safety off you can't just trust your receiver's going to out aete him every time you throw him the ball cuz this safety is a different breed got it in the middle it's hunter gets it to the 46 yd line first down for this offense a new set of downs after the [Applause] completion makes the grab down the middle he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see what the call is person foul defense it's been said over and over you have to protect players head and neck area this penalty so important at the college level looking to throw it's Rogers he makes the catch close to the sticks but he'll be a little short of the first down personal foul pass [Applause] defense you just can't hit the quarterback like that the defender got caught red-handed trying to find his man first down just couldn't quite stay in balance while making that grab it's incomplete couldn't make the connection on first down now here on second on the run it's Coleman pulled down after a pick up of three balls at the 13 boy they love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal let's it go to the end zone and it's caught touchdown Huskies it's hard for a defense to have to cover so much space when the offense goes empty you've get receivers and tight ends and running backs lined up out wide you've got to expand and it's harder to cover on the back [Applause] end he'll try to add another to to their lead and he's got the extra point and it's seven nothing to start this one a very efficient five playay scoring drive and they finish it by firing one in from the 13 for the score on the move from inside is five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense from the gun the running back has it crosses the 30 he's got away he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense and that is exactly why you stick to running your football haven't had a lot of success but boom you pop one right that's what you got to do you got you cannot become onedimensional and just throw the football every down love the off to the Run nice job getting the first down I know a lot of people are going to look at that play and say man that was a bad play didn't gain any yards but that could be the offense maybe setting something up the play caller is going to remember that last play he's going to remember how the defense reacted to it made a quick tackle they might pump that throw and then hit another player vertically down the field for an explosive play down the line just keep that in mind they get to him as he throws that pass is well off Target he got hit hit as he was trying to throw and they can't convert on third down fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way on the move it's Jackson the solid return there offset some of the punt yardage and really sets up this offense nicely and Washington is ready to go back on the attack they'll try the Run we'll give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up kept it on the ground on first down now back back to the line quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver brought down at the 47 yd line after the 15yd pickup from the 47 yd line on First and 10 defense a little too jumpy there and they got into the neutral zone defense the offense moved but it was because the defender jumped into the neutral zone and the offense will pick up the five coming out on first down with the play fake it's caught downfield all the way down to the 25 yd line they move the sticks it's first down really nice looking pass there you think about all the great Washington quarterbacks right Warren Moon the hu Brothers Mark brell Jake Browning the greatest quarterback name in college football history sunny six killer that guy was throwing seeds at the University of Washington this dude right here putting on his best suing six killer impersonation looking for room it's Coleman runs through the tackle they make the stop but not before he sets them up with a first and goal from the 10 the Huskies come to the line with a new set of downs fast motion from the offense a first down run in the red zone brought down at the seven after picking up three defense rose up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming the run up the middle trying to find his way to the goal line didn't get much done on that run he'll fight his way out and maybe maybe pick up a yard wants to throw for it on Third and [Applause] goal makes the grab and he won't be able to push his way in he stopped at the one so they've got the lead they can make it a two-score game with the Chip Shot field goal but instead the offense is out there on fourth down start so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty and on fourth down here comes the field goal unit that thing would have hit a string in the middle of the uprights perfect and now the lead is even bigger and for a quick update let's go to Kevin Conor in the studio two very different emotions inside the locker rooms of these teams who did battle today Arizona took care of business today I think their coach had their attention all week and the end result was a focused group of wildcats that fired on all cylinders 60 Minutes of football and a convincing outcome and certainly a game with implications far beyond just the standings fellas yeah how about that sounds as if they had a good ball game there Kevin thanks for the update didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field the give to the back they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one and the Buffalo want to move quickly well just nothing doing on that last run and they knew coming into this one they were going to be challenged right this is one of the best defenses in all of college football for them to have any shot they're going to have to do a lot better running thir looking to throw at Sanders and the pressure was too much they get him at the 15 I don't think when the quarterback called out the Mike backer that he knew that the Mike backer was going to come calling on him quite so quickly no it was good timing right like you don't want to show it too soon with the offensive lineman call it out and pick you up you could tell did a good job buying a little bit of time and then on the snap Oh shot out of a cannon right to the quarterback gets the sack fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way a fair catch taken just inside the 40 yd line the Huskies have it back trying to make this defense bow down to Washington always good to get points on a drive David but Chip Shot field goals can leave you a little empty and I think it's great to get points but the great teams get touchdowns in the red area you got to get out there this time and execute a little better on this drive abely right David generally the best Red Zone offenses are the ones that run the ball the best so let's see if they can be a little bit more physical on this D he's inside the 10 he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first [Applause] down he's looking to throw it pass rush coming after the quarterback and they get him at the 32 that's a good example there of complimentary defense the DBS and linebackers are playing Zone they're playing their spaces and they force the QB to to have to hold the ball try to work through his progressions and then the pass rush they win up front as they get set to snap it just about to reach the end of the quarter that's the end of the quarter and Washington has the lead really strong performance so far to be able to build a lead here in the first period as we look at the stats now to see if they can answer this early Blitz here in the second quarter now the offense has to overcome the negative play after the defense comes up with a sack not quite in Rhythm there incomplete this is a third and long dropping back it's Rogers they're bringing heat didn't have anything working and just had to throw it away on third down looks as if they'll send out the field goal unit and this kicker might be feeling it he made one earlier now from 49 yd out right down the boulevard it's good and that will extend their lead even further Washington [Applause] Z so the kickoff team is out there ready to boot it away after putting up a field goal let's see what the defense can do from inside the 10 yd line he'll bring it back not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense they're going to throw it to start the drive looking down the middle pass on the way it's picked off bringing it back inside the tag and a big return after the int sets up the offense for this Possession looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out Washington comes to the line with the first and goal slams ahead into the end zone he goes touchdown Washington how efficient have they been as they extend this lead here in week five a quick strike just as we expected yeah and quick strikes are easy when you got such great field position and obviously when the offense starts in such a good spot puts the defense in a bad position and the offense takes advantage lining up to tack one more onto that [Applause] lead and the extra point is good and the lead moves to 20 that's exactly what you want to do when you have that high of field position strike quickly and they did one play and they put it on the board looking for an alley from inside inside his own 10 able to find enough room to get it out across the 25 he's brought down at the 26 and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field going to the running game surges across the 30 out to the 32 a 6yd run the Buffalo headed quickly to the line to throw it's Sanders firing to the right complete a quick tackle made but he's got plenty for the first down the offense in hurry up mode well that receiver he knew he had to get his head turned around quickly he's running the Cur route against Zone coverage but he knows his quarterback is going to be firing that ball into him it's a rocket pass he's able to make the catch and get the first he threw that one with some serious Heat this senior quarterback doesn't need a lot of space to get it in [Music] there looking for a crease it's Hayden all the way down to the 5 yd line they move the sticks it's first down and the buffal come to the line with a fresh set of downs the to the ground he's got it again he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see which way that's going to go foul face defense so the officials spy that face mask penalty and the offense gets a first down touch pass on the Jet Sweep tackled there by the defense that last one leaves him eight yds away from P it's second and goal he's that completion has some right on the doorstep they'll mark it at the one they've moved it right to the precipice of a score and they need one more yard false start off the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty looking for the touchdown on Third and goal oh and he dropped it he had a touchdown right in his hands and couldn't hang on it'll be fourth down they'll play it safe and send out the field goal unit splits the right [Music] good so they're lining up to kick it off after that last Drive put a three spot on the board and now the defense will try to shut him down and they they thought about a return Then thought better of it they'll bring it out to the 25 and Washington is ready to go back on the attack and the physical play there forces the incompletion on first down second and 10 here the give to the running back from the shotgun a run up the middle is stuck for No Gain they come to the line facing third and long from the 2 looking to pass it's Rogers throws for the tight end fires into traffic picked off and he's wrapped up after a solid return on the pick man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out the offense set for a first down play they'll start this drive with a pass good timing on the quick out he was working his way toward that goal line they'll stop him at the two after they play up top first and goal in this feels like their chance to make a game of it feeling some heat he makes a catch at the end zone tdch down Colarado what a grab and what a quick strike for that offense and when I'm an offensive coordinator and I see a short field I'm thinking attack attack attack go get that touchdown take advantage of what the defense gave you great job by the offensive Bo now they'll line up for what they hope is [Applause] automatic and with the extra point every little bit counts as they get closer we check in with Kevin Conor what's going on Kevin boys if it's happening in college football we've got eyes on it check this out Florida is down right now inside the swamp but this young man under center today has shown some Moxy we could see a Legend born in Gainesville today a little screen to the running back he breaks a tackle they're trailing by 10 to the coyotes just another week of college football where we've come to expect the unexpected oh and how about that I know Kevin and those guys will be keeping an eye on it for us so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty line gets set first down leaves it with the running back Midfield he's got room and he found plenty of Running Room on that one before the defense was finally able to get him [Applause] down they're getting this guy lathered up and a decent gain there before the defense makes the stop St halfway there on first down it's second and five grab behind the line it's more the defense wouldn't let him lose there and it was a completion but they lost yardage on third down he drops to throw got his he's got enough for the first down they'll spot him at the 24 yd Line Washington wants to go quickly and this has got to be so demoralizing for this defense right now having given up multiple first downs on this drive somebody on defense has to step up make a play and stop the B looking at a second and short now he'll just keeps slinging it caught over the middle it's Hunter and he's knocked down immediately but not before he moves the chains Washington coming to the line with another first down from the gun they'll give it on the inside and he's loose and he'll take it to the house touchdown Huskies this defense is going to have to do a better job being physical that's two rushing touchdowns they've now allowed they have got to be better close to the line of scrimmage getting set for the point after and with the extra point they now have a three possession lead at 17 lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive Wasington 2 and he takes this from inside the five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 Colorado has the ball back and the buffalo's hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense makes the quick grab shakes off the tackle he was able to reach into his bag of tricks and use it to pick up a few extra yards dropping back it's Sanders coming after him and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 this defensive coordinator has to be scratching his head because he's trying to keep his quarterback protected he's trying different things sliding the offensive line keeping tight ends and running backs in chipping going empty and getting the ball out quickly but it's not working they're just losing the one-on-one battles up front and in the second half looking forward I don't know if they're going to be able to fix it you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 wide open downfield he'll have enough to move the chains it's first down at the 38 his offense lines up feeling awfully good after that big [Music] play off play action on first down throws to the wide out he's got him wide open slips one guy now he's loose ripped off a huge chunk play on that one as he gets the first down before he steps out of bounds well after that last play you can see how electrifying this guy is and how special he is after he makes the catch if I'm on offense I'm trying to find a lot of ways to get him touches in this game they make the stop of the 19 after a pick up of five looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out halfway there on first down it's second and five give to the single back and he's tripped up but not before picking up the first down and the buffal will hustle to the line we've made our way to the two-minute warning and now they'll try to at least cut a little something off of this lead before the break he's got it and still on his feet and that defense pushing him out of bounds after a short game operating in the Red Zone here on second down to the air it's Sanders he caught it he gets it in touch down buffalo and I tell you what that passing touchdown man that should spark this whole team like The Comeback is more than on now like they got the touchdown they cut into the lead you want to get a stop and go into the half get all the juices all the excitement and be like listen the passing games rolling we got this The Comebacks in full effect P unit on the field and the Pat will draw them one point closer about to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and no chance at a return here they'll start this drive at their own 25 huskies have it back trying to make this defense bow down to Washington to the air on first down makes the grab it's Boston that one could really put this drive into high gear as they have a first down at the 37 looking to move it through the air and he'll make the grab along the sideline but he's not able to get to the first down marker the coach wants the officials to have another look at the monitor using a timeout here thinks the call is going to end up going his [Applause] way so he took a chance by using a Timeout on the challenge and it comes back to bite him we'll see if he needs that timeout later dialing up a second down pass play grab near the marker it's Jackson they'll get the first down it's spotted on the 49 Washington has it and a fresh set of down Ed the play fake now to throw fires to the middle almost intercepted it'll ball incomplete the defense almost came up with a turnover wants to throw it's Rogers it's complete and he's brought down after a nice game let me tell you this senior quarterback can flat fit it in a tight window they're going to throw it again snagged in the middle it's Boston they make the stop trying to pick up just a little bit at a time to get to that first down marker on second down just keeps firing it's in complete and he's lucky to get that one back almost almost intercepted couldn't find his man last time now they'll have to convert third and four and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down and here comes the field goal unit this kicker has already made a couple today oh the attempt is no good guys a double digit lead is good but the war would have been better [Music] and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field getting late here in the first half they'll have a chance to make this a one possession game and the offensive play caller here has to really be dialed in it's important down two possessions da that they're able to score some points you got to call your best stuff in this two-minute situation and such a good opport need to cut into a onore game create that momentum get some good juices going for the second half cuz obviously you know you built yourself a little bit of a deficit you need some good things to happen and it needs to happen on this possession on Third and long he's going to have to throw for it and he brote one tackle on the way to a solid pick up there timeout called here by the defense it's their first of the half the buffalos line up to punt it away fourth time tonight we've seen this Guy come on to punt and the punt hits at the eight and goes into the end zone for the Touchback first down here for the offense back to pass it's Rogers fires to the right and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball quarterback empties his back field on second down he'll fire grabbed in the middle it's Jackson timeout called by the offense and now they just have one remaining in the half it's first and 10 from the 31 he's going to pass and the throw out to the Seline good for just a few yards personal foul R pass defense an ill advised play by that Defender as he makes contact with the quarterback well after the throw and it'll cost his defense pressure coming and it's incomplete it was wild high and wide on that one after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down he's taking the shot catch inside the 25 chopping up this defense and they've got it all the way down to the 23 this offense is like running a Perfection drill in practice against air chunk play after chunk play and here they come again catch in the middle it's Boston oh he just handled it poorly and it's a fumble defense swarming on that loose ball it'll be a turnover so the offense doesn't want to take a chance here they'll just come out and take a knee and wrap up the half we played two quarters here time to go to Kevin Connors in our halftime update fellas Yan's work so far today in Boulder and welcome in to the halime update and it's been said football is a game of inches and guess what based on the comparison between third down conversion rate today and the average yard per play how can you argue that I mean the low-lying fruit is to look at some of the explosive plays we've seen in panic but really this game is going to come down to which team is more efficient when they have the ball and how they play when it matters most and with that let's send it back to the guys more than a mile above sea level at Fon field got things teed up and just about ready to go here in the second half he'll bring it back from inside to spot really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 and Washington is ready to go back on the attack using the spin move just gets it to the 28 pick up of one didn't get much on first down it's second and n trying to get the edge with a quick touch pass just searching and working for the Running Room as he gets it out to the 26 now looking for that first down on Third and short from the 26 pulls it in it's Hunter and the defense makes the immediate tackle but he has enough for the first down going to the ground man that D tackle is a freak athlete did you see him come out of his stance and beat the offensive lineman getting to the running back catlike quickness from the gun the ground [Applause] game come to the line at the 42 facing a third and short he'll try to pop the draw they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one Washington sends out the punt team first one of the day is off he was called on three times in that Victory last week he'll call for the fa catch here Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense and that defense gets to him and down he goes at the N the def def coming up big there and the sack is great but the secondary deserves some credit too no doubt when you can cover like that in the secondary and drop back in your Zone and only Rush a few and you feel comfortable getting home and they're going to get to the quarterback that is a great feeling and that's fun to be a defensive coordinator calling the plays to the air it's Sanders fires to the wide out he makes the catch and the defense drags him down and the buffalo's in the hurry up quick pass to the left trying to get it to the marker he steps out of bounds but he's got up for a first down these two guys just on the same wavelength they make clutch connections all the time and that's practice man that's all summer that's all spring just so many hundreds and hundreds and thousands of balls where you know exactly when that guy's going to break you know he's a stud you're going to feed him especially on these third down situations well that was an easy one for the officials you can't grab a face mask like that and it cost the defense a first down he wants to throw and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete couldn't get anything done on first down now second and 10 from the 46 gets it out quickly well the defense playing Zone coverage there they're taking away all the QB's primary options down the field so he has to check it down to the drag running underneath gives it to the back on the draw he's got first down yardage as they move it to the 44 and the buffal are flying down the field well that's kind of the advantage of third and medium right is the defense you keep them guessing you can throw it you can run it that time they hand it off and they pick it up yeah and you can see the d drop back a little bit it creates a little bit of space the a Shot For The End Zone and good coverage there and knock it away and deny the score the incomplete pass leaves him with second down he's looking to throw grabbed over the middle it's Russell they just gashed the defense on that one and they've got it down to the 23 the buffal have it with a first and 10 man it's so important play QB I got to know when to put some air on it and I got to know when to rocket that thing in there working deep shot for the End Zone touchdown bucks a Lazarus like comeback is underway and it's now the second time this wide receiver has scored another outstanding job with the route great job securing the catch [Applause] they'll try to tack one more on their [Applause] score and it's up and good as they draw Just a Touch closer and let's check in with Kevin Conor in the studio Kevin arguably the game of the week fellas with two top 25 teams locking horns Oklahoma state is ahead early in still water but it's not exactly Barry Sanders or Thurman Thomas out there this game is a long way from over they're up by four over Kansas State we'll Circle back if anything big happens in this college football matchup and how about that one Kevin will be keeping an eye on everything going on elsewhere wide receiver now comes in motion quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep makes the stop at the 32 but he picks up 10 on that play with a first down they'll snap it from the [Applause] 32 single back formation and they give it to it got behind those pads and picked up three out to the 35 got three on first down it's second and seven dropping back it's Rogers he looks that one in nicely found a bunch of room and got it to the 44 yd line Washington right back to the line part of the DNA of the Washington offense has been a guy who can get it done with his arm and just finding a guy that makes everybody around you better that can make the right decisions that can highlight your skill positions that's what get the Washington fans going crazy going nuts and that's when they have those great football teams they go to the ground just what this offense was looking for sets him up at the 26 with the first down that's first the he's looking to throw it and that incomplete pass caused by the big hit on first down second down coming after the misconnection it's second down they'll go to the ground man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out Ball's at the 24 a lot of confidence in their kicker from here but they'd love to take it off of his foot and convert the first down from the gun wants to pass and they can't make the connection on third down and here comes the field goal unit the kicker will try to punch one through from 41 ydd away splits the upright it's [Applause] good makes the score Washington they were able to get a field goal on the board and now they'll kick it away and he's coming out of the end zone didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense Jesse on that last drive he really did DAV I mean that was a master class in just reading coverage and being active he'll keep it himself he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out when you've already set your punter out four times at least he knows he's going to get his varsity letter and his leg might get a bigger work out if they don't convert they try to pop a run on the draw tackle is made after the first down they want to get this defense on its heels first down for the off they'll give it to him again knock down after getting six all the way out to the 34 yd line and the buffalos want to pick up the tempo he'll do it himself they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one here comes the hurry up third trying to move the sticks on third down through the air he's got his man he'll have enough for the first down and they stop him at the 45 and how about the confidence of this quarterback Palmer I got to know man I know this receiver is a stud but I'm putting two guys on I'm trying to take him out of the ball game and he's still going to throw it that direction because even when he's covered he's open and these guys work tirelessly all week long they understand where they're going to be they understand when the football's coming out you could put a third guy over there and I don't know if that would have changed the quarterback's decision I think he was still going to his big playmaker on the and they are pushing the ball down the field a big pick up on that one and the tackle is finally made trying to run it's Hayden not a lot of room down here he's able to pick up two two it's down at the 12 going to work on second down in the red zone and still some ground to cover to pick up that first down they'll go right back to him he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum into the end zone fires and picked off and defensive backs you think don't have good hands the big fell shows it how about that defensive back going up and the interception nice job breaking on the football you say that's why you play defense cuz you don't have hands yeah I beg it differ they'll snap it from the 20 for the opening play of this drive and the laundry drops as the pass Falls incomplete let's see who the penalties on the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty the receiver on the Jet Sweep BS his way forward defense makes the tackle and that will probably be the final play of the third quarter that's the end of the quarter and Washington has the lead three quarters are in the books time becomes a factor both in trying to hold the lead or cut into it as we take a look at the stats not only is the scoreboard on their side but so too is time as we open the forth scanning the field it's Rogers got him downfield at the 40 there he goes and they were looking for a chunk play and they got it the explosive picks up more than 30 receiver on the Move gets the touch pass on his feet at the 40 and they'll finally bring him down after he rips off a huge play well this defense is trying to find ways to disguise their coverage and mix it up to try to confuse the QB it's not working though that last completion he's now got over 300 yard pass [Applause] him it's a reverse that one did not go well tackled in the back field for a loss of six they'll line up for a second down play he's looking to throw quarterback can't pull the trigger and down he goes at the 41 man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out and we might as well State the obvious first and second down didn't work out third and very long looking down field and he needs a bunch got it behind the line it's Hunter he ended up losing yardage on the play and that'll bring up fourth down no return possible on this one it goes out of bounds and they'll mark it right around the 30yd line Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense and they get the sack just like that and the defense just gets their fourth sack of the day and guess what this offensive line they gave up four last week too so you need some consistency up sticks with the first down looking for a man it's Rogers quick strike complete I think in this situation two minutes trailing late I think you got to be thrown to the sticks every time I don't know if these short completions are going to get it done you're just not going to have enough time to get down the field so from a play calling standpoint I think you want to think about being a little bit the first and 10 they'll ride the hot hand a solid pick up there before the defense is able to make the stop quick timeout by the defense there trying to make sure everyone has the same call to the air it's Rogers fires into the end zone C makes the grab as he was going for six right there TI quarters deep in the Red Zone but they can pick up a first down without scoring third down and this one will be stopped for No Gain this game will come down to this a field goal try to save them this to jump into the lead in the final minute and the try is no good but there is a flag down he might get another shot [Applause] Thisick might be the worst case scenario for this defense thought they'd held them to three now the offense with a chance for more they'll go to the air they're trying to get to it timeout called by the offense caught stopped with 21 seconds left defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming he'll run it to the middle looking for the End Zone timeout called by the offense we have 18 seconds left and with the stuff there Jesse on second down this the third to midrange you got two downs what are you thinking here maybe getting your quarterback out on the perimeter and giving him a run pass option see if you can get the touchdown Washington and in the final moment theyve taking the lead man this game has been incredible to watch and the offense comes through late in the game takes the lead what a clutch drive by this offense now I'm looking at you defense we got the lead late in the game I need you to go put this thing on ice and win it for me they want to see if they can score the deuce wide receiver shows motion barrels ahead he just couldn't squirt his way in for the two and it's still a five-point game here in the
