hello there and welcome to the old Horseshoe in the banks of the ol and Tangi Home to the Ohio State Buckey one of the great settings in sport and man this place is rocking today and a game like this is what makes college football great yeah there's history and tradition but right here right now there is tremendous intensity and bitterness on this field you can feel it as we'll see the number five team in the country the Michigan Wolverines taking on the winners of 11 straight the Ohio State Buck Ops for EA Sports college football and Chris Fowler joined here in the booth by Kirk KB Street Kirk let's get to the action on the [Music] field the Buckeyes will kick this away to start us off Fields it just outside the goal line solid job by the coverage team they bring him down at the 16 so the Michigan Wolverines will get the first crack on offense today and here we go Wolverines AB baky everything that's gone into this game for 365 days is about to play out right now C and there's just something right right when you look out on that field and you see the colors on the field competing against each other Maze and blue and Scarlet and gray let's see what happens stopped short of the marker after just a short game you recall the last time they played the Wolverines won a very close game that has not been forgotten in Columbus for a single minute since then no and if I remember right it was the Michigan defense that really stepped up it's the senior getting home with the sack I mean that's just being a Difference Maker up front you look at that uniform you think over the years with Joey BOS Nick BOS Chase young and so many great defensive linemen and this guy right here is showing you he's got some of the similar skill set to some of those great a big game before he goes out of bounds the offense keeps churning gets a fresh set of downs listen to the crowd energy here in the early going this is a tough tough environment for visitors breaks loose at the 40 they bring him down but a big chunk of yardage on the play of course they're going to pick up the first down by running the football you think about Michigan you think so many Legacy incredible backs that they've had over the years Tim byak batuka and Tyrone Wheatley and Leroy hord man so many good backs have come through an arbor tackled behind the line it's a loss of two offense getting set it's second down out of the shotgun he hands it off tackle behind the line it's a loss of two Chris that play just didn't have much of a chance at all from the snap quarterback hands this off and just nowhere to go it's almost like the defense was anticipating the play call and they put themselves in a it's picked off he tried to fire the ball into a tight window and that's a solid return after the interception what a costly mistake here by the quarterback forces that ball into coverage and the defense comes up with the interception hate to see the game start off like this for this offense line getting set up it's a first down [Music] play out of the shotgun he'll hand it off and he stopped after gaining four yards so second and six nice job here of controlling the line of scrimmage by this offensive line the back does what he needs to do to get positive yards on first down second down after that run on the previous [Applause] play from the shotgun hand off inside the defense all over it they stop him right at the line well for many this is the quential college football rivalry combines tradition high intensity and very often High States yeah Chris I really think the Rivalry has changed over the years I you know got and it's intercepted he stepped in front of that bullet and he's wrapped up after a solid return nice job by this defense jumping on that football to come up with the interception and not EX exactly how this quarterback envisioned this game starting his very first throw of the game he puts into traffic and he costs his team in a big way picks up three yds so second and seven there's the handoff you know in that era that we live in right now everybody wants to spread the field round try to create space try to create one-on-one matchups and the defense has countered over the years by trying to play out wide but here's a great example the defense has the ability to play wide but still be solid at the line of scrimmage and not give up big run plays they bring him down but the junior quarterback showing off the cannon here's the handoff the player is down injured after that last play we'll take a timeout where they'll check him out offense getting set second down play [Applause] here and the quarterback keeps it on the option they tackle him behind the line a loss of four this a nice job by this defense they saw option actually forced the quarterback to pull the ball on the read and then they caring for a loss you could tell they worked hard on that in practice the pass rush closing in incomplete he was hit as he threw the football there on third down and they will try out the field goal team here this will be a 50 yd attempt see if he's got the leg and he's made it from 50 yds out showing off the deep range Bo this guy had plenty of leg here too Chris you remember the days when a kick from 50 plus was a major accomplishment now these guys knock these out like they're almost automatic so it'll be a Touchback spotted at the 25 here comes the powerful Buckeye offense back onto the field we'll see if this quarterback can shake off the interception he threw in the last possession in the first play of the drive now from the 25 looking to pass it's Howard here's the throw deep downfield aggressive call a deep shot on first down but incomplete on the getting set here's second [Applause] down quarterback making some changes at the line and he's back to throw again after that incompletion on first down pass not complete Chris I thought he had his hands on that football I thought he was going to come down with it but give the defense all the credit with a big hit to knock that ball loose a tough situation with the offense third and long from their 25 let's see if the defense brings some heat here dropping back we're going to throw for the first down oh he miss fires again three in a row well Chris obviously they had to go through the air there to try to pick up this third down and long but when you're so far behind the chains but you really allow this defense to dictate things and allows them to put pressure on your quarterback and can affect the timing as we saw in this play the coverage team able to bring the returner to the ground and the Michigan offense back out on the field they got points on the board last time thanks to a long range field goal they're going to run it here just a small gain look at it second and nine ball handed off solid run tackled with the 45 yd line it's not a huge gain here but if you add up multiple runs like that throughout the course of a game by the fourth quarter you're going to start to see that effect the defense this one's going to fall incomplete brings up fourth down and the Wolverines will have to kick this away he's on to punt for the first time this [Applause] afternoon and the PT will land in the end zone for a Touchback okay here comes the Ohio State offense back on the field this group is coming off a quick three and out can they put something together in this [Applause] drive back to pass it's Howard rning back grabs it on the screen they're finally able to stop him but the defense is fooled a bit on that screen play it's a solid gain for a first down the F eyes will hustle to the line to crank the tempo and the ball is handed off out of the shotgun tackled behind the line it's a loss of two second down play coming up for this [Applause] offense and the quarterback looking to make a play through the air oh they've got him for a sack a big play made by the junior that sack makes it third down quarterback changing the play now at the line drops back looking to throw for it on third down pressure comes and once again no Escape Buckey will bring their punt team on the field now looking to kick it away for the second time on the return it's stward coverage team brings down the returner and the Wolverines offense is back on the field they're coming off a three and out looking to produce a positive drive here he hands it off from the gun tackled behind the line it's a loss of two well they run it right into a blitz and that linebacker was coming down hilker man what a time to call that Blitz here by the defensive coordinator and you're right he shoots right through that a gap really the back had nowhere to go by the time he got the ball in his hands the linebacker right in his face well let's give credit to the offensive line here they went with a run blitz the offensive line sees it picks it up gives them enough room to pick up some solid yards the game picks up the first down tackled at the 37 nice first down run here by this running back and these are the kind of situations on Third and short that you can gain a lot of momentum or it can kill a drive and kill the confidence of an offense here they pick up the nice first down which is great new set of downs but it also gives you a lot of confidence and you can wear that defense down psychologically offense coming to the line they might have a chance for a a couple more plays before we reach the end of the quarter from inside the Red Zone they're looking to throw that's real in it's Morgan the defense able to bring him down to wrap up the first period of play so Kirk Michigan has the lead here at the end of the quarter let's check out the stats now through the opening [Applause] period plenty of time for some plot twists here as we begin the second quarter so here comes second down now every play important down here in the Red Zone keep it on the ground there's the handoff there's the tackle but first down yardage Chris is the consistency of this back is giving this defense fits they've got to come up with some changes up front this guy's already over 50 yards and if he keeps running the way he is not only is he having a great day but it's going to give this quarterback a chance to hit some big plays downfield off play action they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one Chris I think we all kind of get caught up in third down what what's an offense doing on third down but I think what's also important is how well do you defend first down if you can hold your opponents to a short gain or a tackle for a loss you throw the offense out of whack and their game plan gets much more challenging to try to come up with that first down game sets up a third down and goal from the six it's a nice play by this defense and now you're thinking about third down and goal from around the 5 yd line you got a real into the end zone touchdown Michigan well the call was sort of predictable Kirk but that tight end is just so tough to stop down here in the Red Zone listen speaking on behalf of all quarterbacks you get down into the Red Zone you're looking for that big Target that you can trust he's going to run a good route and he's got a big wingspan to allow you to make a throw up into the air he can go up and make a catch over most Defenders really good execution they come up with six the turn begins inside the 10 tackled at the 22 good job by the coverage team okay here comes the Ohio State offense back on the field they were forced to pun it away last time so let's see if they can get clicking in this possession first play of the drive they come out throwing and they heave it deep downfield that falls incompl complete an aggressive deep shot on first down now it's second down here to throw it's Howard this time a completion breaks loose at the 40 that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks more than enough for a first down you set it down for the offense first and 10 they'll try and run it here's the running back they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one man every defensive coordinator will tell you I just want my guys to play fast and how about that one right there he almost ends up tackling the quarterback as he's handing the ball off this offense is lucky they didn't end up fumbling it's a screen pass complete to the running back rights up a Defender and he's out of bounds after gaining decent yardage the Buckey come to the line and in the hurry up quarterback sets up looking for an open man here's a screen pass to the running back Breaking Free at the 35 for set of bounds after a big game this offense set up with a first down Chris as this play was unfolding the only thing I wanted to know was he going to get the ball over the defense to the running back once the back caught the ball look out big yards ahead and looking to throw now on first down running back has it on a screen now runs through the defender heads out of bounds after a solid game more than enough to pick up a first down this offense has gotten going at long last it's another first and 10 looking to throw again pressure is coming he's going to be brought down by that ferocious pass rush nice sack I can't believe the amount of pressure this defense is getting on this quarterback sack after sack well you got to think about changing things up the snap count the scheme any he's got R looking for the end zone four set of bounds after a nice gain the offense is knocking on the door with a first and goal well this is great execution here on this screen play to the running back to pick up big yards in the first down I think in a process Chris they send a message to the defense you can Rush our quarterback all you want fights his way in for the score touchdown Ohio State they were backed up to start the drive with some bold play calling great execution and he reach the end zone you know it's easy to just kind of pull your horns in and get conservative when you're pushed way back close to your own goal line but not this offense they came out showed the confidence that they have in their quarterback and it paid off nice touchdown and the p is good the kickoff team on the field now as they get set to send this one [Applause] away that's a deep kickoff hammer out the back to the end zone for a Touchback and the Michigan offense comes back out on the field they punched it in the last possession can they do it again or will this defense make some adjustments to get a stop hand off to the single back goes backwards losing three yards there that was that excellent linebacker with a clear path just run in downhill quickly you know I think one of the great things about watching this guy play all year is his vision he just has great instincts that time the defensive line ate up all the lineman freed up the linebacker to get into the back field and the result is a tackle for a loss for the backer not going to be easy here backed up a long way to go for a first down fired into a tight window and pick off he goes down quickly but that's a takeaway for this defense important Play It's third and long so as an offensive coordinator you can either play a conservative or trust your quarterback and take a shot down field they El the ladder and it ends up backfiring on first down looking to throw the ball and now the ball comes out a disastrous play from the start able to get the ball back but it could still be a drive killer pass protection a serious issue another sack makes it second and long to throw it's Howard he's found some room with the 45 one thing I love about this back is how he gets involved in the passing game nice catch here important third down play coming up after that [Applause] completion here's the snap quarterback drops back looking to set up a screen pass here they wrap him up but the gain is good enough for a first down it's a good thing they pick up the first down here because would have been interesting to see they were kind of in that no man's area there if they did not pick up the first down would they have kicked the f goal or would they have gone for it but here doesn't matter nice first down pickup is five yds so it's second down and five the Buckeyes will hustle to the line here to run the hurry up quarterback looking to pass here on second down bringing pressure on the junor gets home making a sack there that's the two-minute warning here before halftime as the offense tries to cut cut into this lead just outstanding combination of quickness and strength here by this Michigan defensive lineman makes me think of Aiden Hutchinson who of course played here recently going back to guys like ran Gary Lamar Woodley Frank Clark again he's just trapped and sacked in the pocket if I'm on this offensive line man I do not want to see the game filing this has been a tough game for the big boys it appears almost like they've just been Moon walking the entire game and they've been pushing all around that's six sacks surrendered already in this game so a field goal attempt coming up now a timeout is call important stage late here in the second quarter fourth down and very long but the offense still on the field they're going to go we someone on the line there moved a bit early offense gets a 5-yard penalty pretty easy call for the head coach he will accept that penalty of course Bucky will line up to punt it away looking to flip the field here oh it landed at the 8 yd line but a lucky bounce into the end zone for a Touchback and the Michigan offense back out on the field the last possession ended in an interception let's see if they continue to trust this quarterback in the passing game off the play fake on first down junior steps up and makes an impact Play I Like The call here but you can't run long Dev developing playaction passes like that if the offensive line is not going to give the quarterback time to throw and here's the handoff tackled behind the line it's a loss of two and now the defense will call a timeout here there's something they didn't like about that look and they'll make an adjustment before this important play and wow listen to this crowd noise this stadium is vibrating that's why this is such a tough place for visitors to play they stop him after a four yd gain and it brings up a fourth down defense takes their third and final time out of the half the talk strategy the Wolverines will send their punt team onto the field and he'll kick it away now for the second [Applause] time he's got an opening watch out he's got great speed and the returner brought down by the coverage team and the Ohio State offense comes back onto the field if they want to cut into this lead before halftime they have to work quickly now so here we go the first play of the drive less than a minute to play before halftime looking to pass it's Howard running back grabs it on the screen and he's going to run out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage wanted no part of contact on that play important second down play coming up and the quarterback drops back looking for an open man it's a screen pass complete to the running back and he heads out of bounds after gaining a few yards well that's exactly what you need to do as a receiver in these kind of situations near the end of the half get some positive yards but also stopping the clock is just as important moving the receiver around pre snap quarterback drops back we're going to test the secondary here's a screen pass to the running back and a big game before he goes out of bounds the offense keeps churning gets a fresh set of downs and I don't think the defense had any clue that the was being called they're getting up field getting pressure on the quarterback and that ball gets dumped there's no one left to be able to slow him down from getting a big game here comes a throw from the Red Zone running back has it on the screen now play never had a chance defense grabs him for a loss the offense comes back out there not much time left perhaps just time for a couple plays before the half looking to pass here on second down and he just throws it away there safe move had nobody open so with only a few seconds left in the half the field goal unit comes out of the field he missed it a missed chance to tie this game still down by [Applause] three and that will do it for for the first half here Kevin Connors now has our halftime update fellas whether it's in the shoe or the big house when you have these two programs with all that's at stake today you know emotions run high in a game known simply as the game and the story of the half has been that Elite Corner we were told he was tough to throw against he's basically taken away an entire side of the field when he's out there call causing turnovers and getting physical how often do we say that about lock down guys and how this offense schemes against him in this second half will be fun to watch with that let's throw it back to the guys to see how the fight between Michigan and Ohio State plays out here comes the Buckeye offense onto the field okay first down here for this offense [Applause] they get the second half started with the running play Christina the spread era over the years has always grown offensively but what I've been always impressed with the defenses that really build their defense to play in space still have an ability to be sound at the line of scrimmage and defend a running game it's exactly what we saw right there they finally get him down but a solid gain in that screen pass good call there nice throw and catch here for the bucket guys you know Chris it's hard to think of a time when Ohio State didn't have an efficient and prolific quarterback under Center they'll hand it off goes backwards losing three yards there my gosh this offensive Line's got to do a better job of blocking the defense was zero in on the ball carrier and absolutely nowhere to go for the offense dropping back it's Howard short connection to the tight end here to get him down quickly not much of a gain on that completion the Buckeyes will hustle to the line to run the hurry up [Applause] offense drops back looking to throw for it on third down a bullet but it's incomplete brings up fourth down great job by this defense once again on that third down and now we get to fourth down and you start to think about things here as we get into the second half Chris I don't you go for it you make it everybody's happy if you go for it on fourth down and you don't get it now you're giving your opponent the football in pretty good field position and the Wolverines offense is back on the field this has been an uphill battle for both offenses let's see if they can get it going this time quick throw to his receiver looks down field and finds a receiver who worked his way wide open they bring him down but that is a huge play for this passing game big game offense keeps moving it's a completion for a first down keeping it on the ground here goes backwards losing three yards there how about the timing here by the defense to shoot that Gap as an offense linemen you have to anticipate that close that Gap off otherwise it could be a long day and they'll get him down that time important third down play coming up they'll try to run for the first down they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one the defense made a good play there but needs to string along more stops like that against this running back if they want to be able to win this game The Run game has looked good in the first half but maybe that won't be the case from now on and the kick is good offense settles for three on the drive so after the field goal the kicker out there again to boot it away he's going to bring it out of the End Zone from a couple yards deep he'll be tackled at the 17 strong job by the coverage team here comes the powerful Ohio State offense onto the field last Drive stall will be forced to punt it away let's see what they can come up with this [Applause] time on First and 10 they'll look to throw it and looking for a big play here that one is incomplete took a downfield shot on first down but missed it offense right to the line cranking up the tempo well Chris the offense takes a shot down field and this Defender does a great job of making a play on the ball not only that he tips that ball up into the air good chance for the defense to come up with an interception there to the air it's Howard wow backto back deep shots The Outfield shot is incomplete brings up third down they come to the line a long way to go for the first down but needing this crucial conversion right now quarterback adjusting now to the defense on third down he drops to throw he's going to take another shot right here it's intercepted tried to fire it into a tight window not just the pick but a big return sets up the offense in good position well your best player has got to make big plays in these kind of moments and that's what happened right here with this defense back the offense in a tie game in the Red Zone looking at points and instead the defense with the interception in a tie game their offense now has the ball they'll come out throwing here to start the drive pulls it in it's Morgan touchdown Wolverines strong game by this quarterback and the replay booth has signal they want to stop and have another look at this one so after taking a closer look the officials will overturn that previous room well they began with great field position and that didn't take long at all Kirk well that's how you take advantage of an opportunity your defense sets you up in great field he Powers into the end zone touchdown Michigan well no surprise from offense this good short field quick touchdown yeah you get into the Red Zone though there's a tendency to want to get conservative I love that the offensive coordinator and the quarterback kept attacking until they came away with seven points this time he stopped short for the touchdown but doesn't back it up with a two-point conversion now they get set to kick it [Applause] away he's going to try for a return from a couple yards Deep In The End Zone makes it to the 16 that's good coverage there here comes the powerful Buckeye offense back onto the field this drive is important last one ended in an interception let's see if they can get it going here they tackle him looks like it's going to be just short of the marker inches away love those positive yards on First and 10 and it's not quite a first down looks like it'll bring second and inches but sure does open up the Playbook here to be able to open up maybe take a shot down field here comes a handoff and he'll get the first down yards before they finally bring him down look I realize on any play call when it's properly executed they can go to the house for a Touchback but the runs that really make a game plan work are the ones where you get just what you need and he barely got the first down but he got it going for a big play downfield but they don't make the connection that one is incomplete this quarterback is really rolling the dice out here today remember he threw an interception the last time they had the ball I thought he might learn from that but instead he comes out throwing it into coverage again somehow catches a break on this tip ball and a senior making a disruptive impact play well how about the push up front by the the Big Fellas here and when you can get pressure like this that's what separates good defenses from great defenses and you think back of the Michigan teams when they've been exceptional they've had defensive line played just like that they punted four times already on the verge of a fifth but they can't convert this third down great job here by the defense third down and long you drop back in coverage keep everything in front of you force that quarterback to have to check the ball down and then you rally to the football to force his fourth down great great job here by the D he's got some daylight turning on the speed good effort by The Return Man they get him down but that's a solid gain in the return and the Michigan offense comes back out on the field play action here on first down trying to extend the play he's going to take off here second down after that previous [Applause] Play Shotgun formation here's an inside give unleashes the stiff arm that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks more than enough for a first down it's a solid run gives the offense a first down and a new set of downs sticking with the running game the gain is three now it's second down and seven receivers are Bunch together handoff from the shot gun breaking tackles and just a short gain this time they're able to get him down defense coordinator this week all week telling us about Gap Integrity not giving this running back any creases at all really sound defense on that play looking downfield it's orgy looking to set up a screen pass here oh what a Juke gets fre now heads out of bounds after a solid gain more than enough to pick up a first down the Wolverines pick up enough yardage to move the sticks on first down it's playaction the pocket breaking down they don't pick up the blitzers and it's a sack well you got to do a better job with your fake as the quarterback the defense did not bite at all in the play action allowing them to continue to come after the quarterback and come up with that sack he decides to keep it here physical run breaks through a tackle couldn't quite get in tackled down at the two line excellent run and as we take a break to flip ends of the field let's take a quick look at the current national [Applause] rankings here we go an exciting start to the quarter as the offense sets up with a first and goal reload they'll try to run this one in that's a nice tackle there by the senior looks like a man is down on the field after the last play so we'll take a timeout and the defense bringing out some big bodies to stop the run they try to muscle toward the end zone on the ground muscles across the goal line touchdown Wolverines all the energy really building now k then I care for this could get ugly Chris this offense has been impressive the entire game and one of the great things about rivalry games is you'll never forget this kind of Performance Point after up and good kickoff team on the field getting set now return starts from inside the five and the returner is brought down okay here comes the Ohio State offense back on the field they were forced to punt last time can they get this offense going finally get some points out of this possession first play of the drive looking to throw the football looking to make a play deep downfield the catch is made for a huge pickup and he's brought down but there is a penalty marker out there let's check out this call and the head coach will decide to accept the penalty and take the yardage second down play coming up quarterback checks the defensive look makes some adjustments back to throw it's Howard quick throw testing the middle and it's complete downfield tackle made after a solid game they'll spot the ball to 31 The Bu eyes looking to crank up the tempo a bit looking to throw it on first down here comes a deep shot oh and he's got it big gain inside the 25 that's a massive Play Moves the ball to the 14 and just like that they're in scoring position snapping it from the red zone now looking a throw he's got a lane can he make the End Zone makes it across the goal line touchdown [Applause] Buckey now a two-point conversion attempt coming up there's the snap he's looking to throw running back grabs it on the screen and he's in there for the two-point conversion they're back within 11 points now the kickoff team is out on the field he thought about returning it but instead takes a knee it'll be a Touchback and they'll start at the 25 and the Michigan offense back out on the field the last possession was his old school Power football let's see if they can keep that going [Applause] here in the first play of the drive now from the [Applause] 25 movement at the second level the defense now opening play of the drive quick throw to the left and the defense Smothers him for No Gain here's the second down play offense looking to throw the ball that one Falls incomplete looking for a flag doesn't get it brings up third down not going to be easy here backed up a long way to go for a first down drops back needing a third down completion here grab down the middle it's more they bring him down but that's a good play moves the ball to the 39 tackle is made but the junior quarterback shows off his arm strength that time using in the ground game here tailback has the hand off solid run tackled at the 45 yd line Chris this back has had a great day they're winning the football game I just looked at my stats this guy's at 99 yards on the day you can tell how badly he wants to cross the 100yd threshold he's been superb today tackle finally made but it's a huge gain they'll spot it at the 34 now you're starting to see this defense I think wear down now that we're in the fourth quarter it's been a tough day for them and the offense is taking advantage of it a lot of positive plays good job eating as much clock as they can here on this drive in the fourth quarter touchdown Michigan this quarterback on fire today and strike up the Michigan band again as the Wolverines Kirk are beginning to build a lead and pull away here I don't think the biggest Michigan fan in the country could have ever expected this kind of performance by the Wolverines everything that they have done has worked and right now they have a nice comfortable lead getting set to kick the ball off now and he'll bring it out from inside the 10 oh he's got a crease here look out on the Move still going it's a foot race yes all the way to the house touchdown now the try for two we scanning the field it's Howard a screen pass complete to the running back the two-point conversion is good touch the lead down to 10 here's the kickoff team Now set to boot this one away that one sails out of the back of the end zone with the Touchback and the Wolverines offense is back on the field offense moving to a bunch [Applause] formation e hand off as he try to work the clock here they tackle him at the 38 solid gain nice play there for this offense's execution has been on point all game long but especially in this fourth quarter they're getting better and better and this defense seems to have just quit out there and the pressure gets home it's a sack Chris let's tip our cap to this quarterback he has gotten hit that's the fourth sack already in this football game now he's thrown for a lot of yards so it's been one of those cases where either our band is planned or your band is planned one way or another you get a lot of fireworks in this game got solid gain on the running play third down now drops back from the shotgun looking for an open man makes a quick gra he stopped short of the marker so it's fourth down now looks like a player is down injured at that last play will take a timeout while they check it out and the Wolverines will line up to boot it away he's on looking for a solid punt here returner is brought down gets it started on the next Drive we've reached the two-minute warning here this offense needing to score and then get the football back they'll change the pre-nap look now looking to throw it's Howard and the clock winding down they'll take a deep shot deep shot caught inside the 25 The Tackle is made but there's a flag on the field see what that's about so the offense declines the penalty after the big play big guys up front lined up it's first down look come out throwing here to start the drive here's a screen pass to the running back and a big game before he goes out of bounds the offense keeps churning gets a fresh set of downs well this offense has a long way to be able to get back and potentially win this game but they're doing the right things managing the clock picking up good yards and getting out of bounds Buckey will line up here on first down and goal pre- snap motion from the receiver quarterback drops back running back has it on a screen now touchdown Ohio State still no answer for this offense what a score by this offense and the greatest thing Chris as they still left themselves with a little bit of time and now you're thinking onside kick if they can recover it you never know and they tack on the extra point kickoff team is on the field to boot this one away and the Deep kick will Sail Out the back of the end zone for a Touchback and the Michigan offense comes back out on the field and they play keep away here just protect this lead in the final two minutes they'll run it from the gun the pickup is seven yds now it's second and three yeah I like this call here late in the game like this with the lead nothing too fancy just right up the middle trust that offensive line in this running back and just keep working that clock he'll hand it off that's a nice wrap up there by the Junior and now it's the defense that calls timeout here trying to get organized and preserve as much clock as possible okay it's third down after that run looking to pick up the first down through the air he's got his man wide open that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks and 10 here weing to throw the ball look at this he'll go deep again oh and it's batted down by the defense great play to deny a touchdown this is smart defense when you're trying to protect the lead late in the game you know they're going to take some shots get those safeties and those defensive backs back far anticipating a deep throw and knock the ball away after the incompletion on first down we're going to throw it again looking to set up a screen pass here he stopped just short of that first down marker inches away from it and the offense will spend it timeout just 14 seconds left on the clock Bo another nice completion by this quarterback and one of his receivers you know if I'm right you look at this quarterback in this game alone he's now over 350 yards what a game for [Applause] him and it's no good he missed it after the Miss they're still down by 10 that's a missed opportunity for some points here the way they moving the football I thought maybe a touchdown at the very
