[Music] welcome everyone and glad to have you with us from Williams Bry Stadium home of the South Carolina Gamecocks hockey and all of his friends ready to go and amped up for what we have in store little gets the blood boiling quite like a rivalry game Barbed shot trash talk things that go on throughout the week will now all be settled on this field as we'll see the number four team in the country the Missouri Tigers taking on a squad hoping to prevent another L this week the South Carolina game CS for EA Sports college football ree Davis with you alongside David Pollock and Jesse Palmer and guys can't wait to get this one started Missouri about to kick off to lift the lid on this one he thought about bringing that out for a half second but he'll take a knee and they'll bring it to the 25 so the South Carolina Gamecocks offense will take the first swing of the game and the adrenaline is pumping on overdrive in games like this guys and it's crucial to get your emotions under control no doubt in rivalry games you've got to limit the mental errors and you've got to limit the penalties cuz those will kill you B and you got to come out under control it means so much we know that the fans are all talking about it but it's just football at the 35 he's got R open rope look at that toughness just running through everybody brought down to the ground but he has up for the first down the Gamecock moving quickly to the line we talk a lot about quarterbacks having to make the right decisions in the pass game reading coverages etc etc but how about in The Run game as well on the zone reads on RP type plays are the option knowing when to keep the football and making that decision quickly you saw a great example of it by the QB there the biggest lie college football coaches tell is nameless faceless opponent David game like this you know their name and you know their face you know them well and it does mean just a little bit more because it's bragging rights like the rivalries matter so much all throughout the year all the fans talking about this game in particular that's why it means more and that's why these players will be jacked out of their minds touchdown gamec reeled it in and just made the house call they can use this first score to sort of set the tone guys in this rivalry matchup man doesn't this feel good to come out score early get the crowd involved get the nerves out of the way Palmer when you're playing in a big rivalry game yeah and I feel like momentum is always a big thing in any game but in rivalry games it's that that much more important because everybody is going to feed off that first score now not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 the Tigers offense will go to work for the first time today and how about this matchup of a couple of guys who just don't get tired and don't mind being handed the football Jessie and I love this matchup too because in modern football it's all about throwing the ball and spread and Tempo and air Ray offenses let's go back to toading the Rock old school two of the best running backs in the business year and the defenses now like they know the challenge they know these guys are going to tow it they got to be physical committing guys to the Box not letting these running backs have success today not much he could do there does pick up two to the 34 we anticipate this one being much tighter than the last time these two met when it was a blowout David and here's the thing you got an opportunity right now you got the football early in this game to show you this is going to be more the same partner well we talked to both coaching staffs and players and they're all very aware of what happened the last time these two teams played so expect everybody's aame today Reese your right we expect this one to be a lot tighter this crowd going to try to make life miserable for these guys oh and he gets downfield for the big catch running wide open down the gut of the field and he slipped through the crowd and he'll house it touchdown tigers well this offense is top 10 in the country in points per game because they've got a lot of speed and they've got home run hitters they score fast they don't need 10 plays to go down the field you saw it right there they've recruited well they've got Playmakers they're going to be a problem for defenses all year long and it'll be a Touchback the ball will come out to the 25 yd line South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey Jesse looking to take it down the field for backto back touchdowns I think it's really important for them moving forward too to have a lot of balance right you want to be able to keep this defense guessing qu yeah and you got me searching for answers after that last drive you stack another drive on top of this their defense's heads are going to be spinning all over the place finds his man on the left early in the game I love getting my quarterback in a r easy pitch and catch You' thrown him 4,000 times not big shot that just put you in nice positions on the next Downs coming up DB's lock up tight on the receivers he leaves it with his back and the Gamecocks have enough for the first down all right guys that's not a home run type play but he did enough there to keep the chains moving Bill snap it from the 36 they've got a first down 42 spider 42 spider they're getting this guy lathered up we give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up the game CS racing to the line in the hurry up wide out in motion touch pass on the Jet Sweep One Step WRA Two Step squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground come to the line at the 42 facing a third and short looking to pass it's sers looking to the big tight end makes a connection Off to the Races to the right touchdown South Carolina and once he found some daylight it was time to make a house call well the quarterback does a great job with his decision making he found the matchup he wanted one-on-one as tight end's able to stretch the field he makes the catch and he does the rest of the work himself running it the answer let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Connor Kevin what do you got all right guys want to update you on a game that went final moments ago Ohio State went on the road and just dominated and that's one way to grab attention on a national level make a statement in someone else's building and prove you're legit and did the Buckeyes ever do that a lot to go through in the film session this week for both teams but boy it sure is going to be easier for the side that came away with the win yeah how about that sounds as if they had a good ball game there Kevin thanks for the update they're going to go right back to him on first down and a pickup of eight opens a world of opportunities on second and two really important for a ranked team going into a hostile environment like this one not to give the underdog reason to believe yes reason to believe and don't give the fans reason to get J backed up and excited come out early be in a business mode mindset you got to start fast you got to have a sense of urgency you cannot come sleepwalking into an environment like this because if you do and you make some mistakes this crowd will pounce on you and sees momentum he turns that loose down the right side touchdown Tigers a great catch and run for six you know often times in college football the best offense is the ones that can create explosive plays just like you saw right there they're top 10 in the nation in points per game because they don't have to drive the field they've got dudes scattered all over this offense that can take it the distance on any given play and they thought about a return Then thought better of it they'll bring it out to the 25 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field these two defenses have had their head spinning here in the first half and now we we might even see a little more scoring with this drive it's going back and forth this is like two heavyweights just trading blows David what does this defense got to do to get a stop here I tell you what man when you're giving up points like this and you've got no momentum you got to find somebody that can make a play to create some and listen if you're if they're scoring anyways let's be aggressive let's Blitz more let's let's make sure we're making them feel discomfort in some way shape or for and the Gamecocks are in the hurry up defense going to jam these receivers right off the [Music] line dropping back it's sellers pocket starts to collapse still on his feet at the 45 just gashing this defense a big Gainer to the 40 yd line the Gamecocks come to the line with a new set of downs I mean these quarterbacks nowadays can run so fast think about who you've got chasing defensive Lin those big old defensive tackers defensive ends linebackers they can't catch him because they're faster than them nowadays so much speed so much electricity now with these [Music] guys from the gun running back gets the give not much room to run let's give him one to the 33 will they keep it on the ground again here on third down they'll try to pick up the first through the air pulls it in in the end zone touchdown gamec and man is that perfect timing you can tell a quarterback drops back he sees this guy and he knows he's open but watch the throw deep down the field Palmer right in the Red Basket nice play nice pitch and catch he did a nice job of getting it up in the air early and allowing his guy to run under the football locate it and then make a tough grab that is the definition of an explosive play here he comes from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 the offense lining up for a first down play used the play fith now to throw got it in the middle it's buron and he's brought down at the 40 yd line and that'll be a first down we're through one and what a back and forth battle between these two quarterbacks as we look at the stats lots of time left and we're ready to get back to it and open the second period they'll break the seal on this quarter here on first down easy they'll ride the running back and leave it with him and he was able to get away from one tackle but plenty of help was on the way decent pickup on that play got six on first down now a lot of options on second and four fast motion from the offense back to throw it's cook he'll take the Deep shot he's got it inside the 15 touchdown byri he broke away from the defense and they couldn't catch it this offense is so good man they can hurt you in so many different ways and they do it so quick so explosive they can put small Drives together big Drives together they've really had a great year and that's why they're a top 10 offense and he takes this from inside the five nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey the way this game started you feel as if you have to score a touchdown every time you have it and now we'll see if they can respond yeah and I wonder how much pressure that puts on the offense Jesse like you know this is back and forth and I got to score and every possession matters so much what does that do to you as a quarterback well it puts a lot more pressure on you for sure to feel like I got to make every third down throw if guys are open vertically down the field I got to hit them too we can't can't let our serf get broken and the Gamecocks in the hurry up quick pass on the jet motion after burner's coming that'll be enough for the first down and they'll mark it at the 48 this offense absolutely humming as they come to the line again off the play fake on first down wants to throw a strong tackle and wrap up from the junior offense gets set for second down from the gun the running back has it really nice pickup on that one as they get it to the 36 it'll be first down the Gamecocks are marching down the field wide receiver now comes in motion they'll ride the hot hand and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pick up it's now first and 10 from the 24 yd line well right away after picking up the first down they go right back to their playmaker at running back and I love the push they got up front getting a hat on a hat opening a huge hole for the B man you become so hard to defend when you can run the football successfully on first first down you're starting like that now what opens up play action now you're making me play pass and run this offense if they can create that run physicality now it opens up everything else that's a throw the QB would like to have back he just has to do a better job giving his receiver a chance to make the catch this will be the eighth play of the drive but a great opportunity for the defense to get off the field back to pass it's sers fires to the middle makes the ground touchdown game cop puled it in and just kept right on running to the Hallelujah land this guy is officially a problem his second receiving touchdown of the game nice job by the offense dude I've got a match up I like continue to pick at it until they stop about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown let's see if he can make a play on the return really disciplined job by the coverage unit to got down there and make the stop at the 19 missou has it back in the offense coming out on the field now they need to put something together to answerer that last score there's a lot of pressure too on this offense to have to execute at a high level they've got to score points David but they can't go too fast cuz their defense right now is tied and I think that's the difficulty being a play call like I have to balance all of those things my defense is a little bit tired I can't put on the field but I got to be aggressive because this is a back and forth type game so a lot to process think about really nice pickup there as they have it out to the 44 with a first down when your best is demanded on a big stage like this against a rival he has delivered cracking the 150 yd Mark no doubt about it what do we say big time players make big plays in big games the games don't get bigger than this for this team right here and this guy and he breaks into the open he will step out of bounds but not before the big pickup and a first down for this offense the Tigers come to the line with a fresh set of downs to the ground with the back they get him stopped at the 26 but not before he picks up five yds halfway there on first down it's second and five he's looking to throw connection to the right they make the stop at the 5 yd line but they've got it first and goal and after that pitch and catch he's already over 200 yards and we're in the first half Jesse man Reese he's dialed in right now he's really doing a nice job seeing the field reading coverages and finding his open guy and he takes it to the house touchdown Tigers boy these offenses are just making it look easy defense optional in college football nowadays so many weapons so much speed on the field so hard to defend defense I I don't know how you play it I really don't just try to get a stop beg for one please on the move from inside is five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field how about the way they attacked the last time they had the ball mixing run and pass and winding up in the end zone Jesse that's why recruiting is so important they've got weapons at every skill position on the field any of these guys is dangerous if they touch the football let's see what they do on this drive David and so got a lot of running room inside the 30 he's at the 10 touchdown South Carolina and once he found daylight it was Katie Bar the Door [Applause] baby and the extra point splits the upright they're up 3528 and for a quick update let's go to Kevin Conor's in the studio all right guys a little update on what else is happening in college football this weekend SMU is getting smoked today this is an eye opener it's the type of game that can just demoralize a fan base they're trailing by 14 to Boston College we'll Circle back if anything big happens you should know about it and how about that one Kevin will be keeping an eye on everything thing going on [Applause] elsewhere he'll start this drive firing blasted as he lets it Go tight end finds a soft spot and that was some kind of collision between a couple of big bodies there and he stopped from getting the first down line getting set on second down wants to throw it's cook and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 timeout called by the defense is their first of the half as they'll go to the sideline and try to make adjustments third and long and he'll try to throw for it makes the grab down the left side and he's brought down after a huge completion and you just could not allow that to happen defensively giving up a big play like that they're going to need to now play with some sense of urgency if they're not going to give up any points here before the end of the half got it and he takes it all the way they couldn't stop him touchdown tigers and coming into the game you look at the stats and you say top 10 offense in scoring so they better be able to create what explosive plays another explosive plays they've been doing it all year long those plays are back Breakers defenses just can't contain this [Applause] offense he'll Darth the return inside his f five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey they torched this defense with an explosive passing play for a score last time out let's see if they go right back at him throws for the tight end got his man downfield gets away from one finds room and they don't drag him down until he gets all the way to the 46 yd [Applause] line they'll throw it on first down quickly complete and he'll step out of bounds after a very productive play well when you're throwing these out routes guys it's location location location as a QB you've got to put that out in front of your guys so he can make the catch you put that behind him that might be getting picked nice job there by the QB and they finally get him stopped but it's a big throwing catch and he's down at the [Applause] five back to pass it's sers and that defense gets to him and down he goes at the nine quick timeout from the offense to save precious seconds defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming he's looking to throw into the end zone and it's caught touchdown Gamecock and I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game I tell you what keep that passing game up you can keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers they got the late touchdown on the board now about to kick it away and hoping the defense can keep them from answering he stopped short of the 20 at the 19 and probably wishes he' just taken the Touchback Missouri has the offense ready to go on the field this late in the half you're behind you'd love to create something before the break to build momentum Jesse well you've also had some miscues on offense a big part of why you're losing the game right now I'd take it into halftime make my adjustments and come out ready in the second half yeah I'm going to take it in halftime too Paul but I'm trying to put some points up right here be aggressive set the tone be like Hey listen this is what you're going to get in the second half so find something really quickly you can go to finds the tight end he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down and on that last play he's now over 400 yd passing well Reese if you're going to throw for over 400 bills you got to spread the praise around up front they've done an outstanding job protecting this quarterback and his receivers have been winning one-on-one unloads to the wide out got his man and he cruises his way to the house touchdown by Sur yeah and the passing game comes through man and we need more of that in the second half an extra point away from time this football game you Trail a little bit in the first half stayed calm if this passing game can continue to heat up look out in the second half on the run from inside of zone five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the [Music] 16 time dwindling away as they try to put points on the board right before the half the give to the back one step WRA two-step squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground down 18 yd second down coming up a very conservative approach here just taking the knee and heading to the locker room that's going to wrap up the first half here and now we join Kevin with a halftime update phyas what an environment there today all the animosity and Flatout hatred that comes with a good oldfashioned rivalry game on display in that first half toughest job inside that Stadium right now might just be the scoreboard operator after all those first downs and touchdowns big plays have to find this one thanks to two of the best receiving core in all of college football let's see if these defenses can adjust and make the necessary chess moves that said let's get back to the field and our guys in the booth to see who comes out on top of this rivalry contest all right Kevin about ready to get things cranked back up here [Music] we're all number the third quter is he set to kick it away he'll bring it back from inside to spot nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 maou has it back in the offense coming out on the field first drive of the second half always fun to watch you see what type of tweaks were made at the half especially when you're locked up in a ball game like this one yeah and it's been a good game I mean it's been a little bit of back and forth and a feeling out process now want you get in the second half who's going to get aggressive home who's going to take some shots try to make some plays and really go for it yeah it's interesting I think as play callers right now you learn a lot about these coaching staffs with respect to who does make the best adjustments there's a lot of coaches that believe we're just going to be who we are we're going to keep doing what we do we're just going to do it pass on the way it's picked off and they'll drag him down after a good return on The Intercept Carolina and the Freshman just ball skills and snatched it right out of the air the offense set for a first down [Applause] play they'll run it out of the shotgun finds a little bit of room give him a couple down to the 23 and the Gamecocks want to move quickly back to throw it's salers takes the easy completion he's really close to that first down marker but they stop him just a bit short a field goal here will put them on top but a touchdown is what you want in a game like this to the ground to try to pick up the first and a really nice run and pick up there before the defense avoided disaster and stop the really big [Applause] play quick strike complete he's down at the one and they almost had the touchdown pass on that one I like the decision by the quarterback here just get the ball out of your hands get it to your playmaker a lot of times he'll dance and make even bigger plays than he did here but it was still a positive [Applause] game on second down looking to throw and he was hit just as he released it and it falls to the turf man it's nice to have a quarterback that can do this last week was unbelievable this week even better this dude is absolutely on fire in the zone feeling it using the whole field doing whatever he wants when he wants it touchdown game cop and with that they've got the lead here in the second half well just as you would expect that didn't take very long it didn't Reese and you've got to make great field position count when you got opportunities you got to pay it off and the offense took advantage scoring a touchdown didn't have far to go but they got the points they needed here he comes from inside his own five he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 Missouri has the offense ready to go on the field boy they hope this next Drive is more productive after throwing a pick last time Jesse Yeah and the coach has did a good job on the sideline there just talking to the Young quarterback and making sure he's able to turn the page calm him down to go out and refocus this drive yeah and some people do that better than others but you got to show some trust in him maybe get the ground game going help around him a little bit with the system give to the single back smashes through he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pickup and moving the stick for a first down bot kicks under the 4minute Mark here in the third quarter caught in the back field it's Burton and he was able to run through one tackle but still only a modest gain you know it's one thing to have all the accolades preseason and have all the expectations but it's another thing to be able to go out and execute week in week out he's done that he now has over, 1500 receiving yards on the year running back searching for a hole a strong tackle and wrap up from the junior the Run game just has not been working for this offense all game long saw on that last play as well just not getting enough push up front on the offensive line they haven't been physical enough and the defense makes the immediate tackle but he has enough for the first down and the tigers are on the Move quarterback reacting to what the D is showing coming out on first first down with the play fake oh he's going to take a shot at the DB and the DB making a huge play knocking it away downfield man that's a couple bad throws last possession obviously ends in an interception by this quarterback and now you throw another one you know In Harm's Way you got to make sure you're throwing to the open guy make sure you're taking care of that football we can't have any more turnovers looking downfield it's cook flips it out to the back didn't pick up a lot there moved it Forward just a few and listen I know that wasn't a huge gain it was positive but I like doing more of that in today's college football I'm just going to try to give my Playmakers a chance to do damage in space away from all the big boys inside fires to the tight end and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one the Tigers have it with a first and 10 from the Red Zone looking for a receiver they're working that left side touchdown tigers and they add six more to the board with that trip to the house number eight getting set for the point after and after that extra point we have a tie ball game in the third quarter he marched 78 yds down the field and the score comes on a 17y throw for the [Applause] touchdown e and no chance at a return here they'll start this drive at their own 25 and the South Carolina offense is back on the field after standing on the sideline and watching that long touchdown Drive they really need to put something together to give their defense a rest and that's a real thing man like You' played a lot of plays you get worn out you need a chance that's a right ball and this fumble bounces out of bounds ooh offense really lucky there ball on the ground everybody's trying to make a Scramble for it and it just goes out of bounds so the offense lucky to maintain possession out of the gun the inside hand off looking for a priest and the defense snows him under after a very short game the Gamecock will hustle to the line to the air it's sers he's got it and he was on his way and they get him down at the 30 his offense lines up feeling awfully good after that big play just another big play for this guy who spent the entire game wide open couple of touchdowns there and he moves the sticks again D yeah so I'll keep finding him reys I mean this is a guy that listen we're in the second half now he's already made plays I know I can trust him so I'm going to continue to feature him in this offense cuz I know he'll continue to make big points they'll give it to him again they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one this drive facing a little adversity on second and 11 from the gun they'll try to impose their will he rolls all the way down to the 5 yd line before they finally get him stopped and the gamec have it in scoring position on first and goal they'll try to get it in with the run the ball's free how in the world did the offense retain possession defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming the run up the middle looking for the score he'll pick up three before he's down at the six about to have the ninth snap on this drive you don't want to settle for a field goal lets it go to the end zone and that one's going to be incomplete he was throwing for the touchdown but just couldn't get the foot down in bounds and it looks as if they're going to try a field goal and this one shouldn't be too taxing a 23 yd try and this one splits the upright and with that they've taken the lead they'll kick it away after putting up a field goal on that last drive9 from inside his own 10 he'll try to help out their field position not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 they come to the line for the first play of the drive snapping it from the 21 off the play fake on first down receiver looks it in it's complete that's about as close as you can get to that marker and it will be second and just a few two breaths away from the first down that's the end of the quarter and South Carolina has the lead and as we switch ends of the field let's take a quick look at the national rankings when you're dealing with a deficit like this it's all about somebody stepping up to make a play and you might as well start here in the fourth quarter and guys this can be a great time to look for a big play on second and inches grabbed in the middle it's Johnson finally stopped at the 46 after a 15yd game and at this point the defense looks as if they've been in one of those dizzy bat races they've got no idea where the ball's coming from he's over 500 yd pass it yeah this is a Heisman trophy level performance from this guy the accuracy the decision making the athleticism everything has been on display l the offense Stars those plays where they want to get their Playmakers the ball and the defense understands it as well I got to know when that guy comes in motion he's a legit threat they did and you could tell they pulled the trigger and went and made a nice play and the pass is incomplete but the flag flies and there was a lot of early contact there and the defender just way too handsy on that last play you could see all the contact as the ball was in the air you simply can't do it in the referee's C power football with the run small gain I know but again the defense knows he's going to run the football he's willing to run the football not just drop back and pass make him on to the Run game you got to do a lot of this after the productive first down play it's second and six they'll Run play action going for it all and good coverage and better hands on that shot to the end zone deep does an outstanding job here on the Deep pass locating the football no Pi able to swat it away pass in complete and he can't escape and down he goes well that Defender just was better in his one-on-one on the pass rush he does a great job being the offensive line to get to the Q [Applause] down a possession here in the fourth and they'll need to convert on this fourth down he'll try to throw and pick up the first down can't find his man it'll be incomplete and that is a heartbreaker this late in the game first down here for the offense they'll crank up this drive with the pass the throw to the outside is complete and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that that one now here on second down see if they keep tossing it around dropping back it's sers fires to the wide out oh what a spacular layout and catch the gamec come to the line in the hurry [Applause] up out of the gun the running back has it and this is a perfect situation this is situation if you ask me to be in before the game the coaches would have been in heaven I got the football I got the lead on their side of the field nice gain on first down same exact script do it again run the football run the clock let that thing tick down and if we add points we add points on Third and long trying to have a big completion here just a bit of a misfire there as they can't make the connection I tell you what I don't know if the offense was expecting man coverage that time third and long in field goal range you're expecting it to be Zone instead they lock them up manto man everybody on an island everybody won they get the incompletion Now setting up for after putting up the field goal they're set to kick it [Applause] away you'll call for the fair catch here maou has it back in the offense coming out on the field they were really aggressive going for it in their own end last time and put them in a tough spot David yeah aggressive Reckless they got to find the balance with this offense to really be productive and last possession they went for it they rolled the dice Palmer and it didn't work out for him yeah if you're better on third down moving forward though you can keep yourself out of those situations he's going to pass finds his Target down the middle he's brought down quickly minimal gain there still a bit short of the first down here comes the offense on second down they're looking for an advantage in the running game to the right one step WRA twep squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground I never know if it's grammatically correct to say a team is being out physical you he a lot in football though that's happening in this game they are just not getting the push they need all game long up front to have any success when they decide to run it grabbed in the back field it's Johnson he's got enough to move the chains and they'll spot it at the 47 really nice job job there by the quarterback understanding that it's Zone coverage on third down you're going to have to find someone working into a soft spot get the ball out of your hands quickly make an accurate throw and pick up the first well done they stop him almost immediately short gain there and still a little ground cover pick up the first little bit more to go after that last completion they'll try to pick it up on second down to the air it's cook got his van in the middle midle and he'll go down but he has enough for the first down these routes have some reads and adaptability built in and the big fella found that cushion and made the play man it's so awesome how much offenses have evolved they know exactly what they're getting where to sit down quarterback tight end on the same page gets the first down gets it out fast and he's down right there picked up a few but still some work to do to get a first down offense about to reel off its seventh play of the drive the aerial assault continues nice defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away man this late in the game it's go time I got to have a score I'm not worried about downs I'm going through my two-minute script we know what's coming he practiced this all week second down incomplete pass go to third down we need to go for it on fourth down this offense just has to keep that high energy up and try to run these plays fast they'll finally put the brakes on him at the three a big throw catch and run on that one and as a defense how scary is it having to defend this guy he's one of the fastest players in America and you saw it on that last play it's not necessarily throwing him the ball over your head they just get it to him quickly the hard part now is running and tackling that guy not easy to do from the gun got a man that completion has them right on the doorstep B mark it at the one guys out of the back field now it's not just run the ball downhill anymore you got to be versatile I got to be able to trust you in the pass game and I got to be able throw you the football and you can do that right there I know you're going to catch it and I can depend on it now second and goal in right in the teeth of this noise quarterback keeps it on the sneak wedges pushes and he's over and in for the touchdown how about that coming up big less than 30 seconds in the ball game you need a score and this offense absolutely responds go kick that extra point take the seven-point lead and let your defense finish this one off and that extra point was good and now they have the lead in the fourth and that one ought to set us up for quite a finish and he takes this from inside the five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 South Carolina ready to go on the attack in another offensive Odyssey so the first order of business here David is don't knock yourself out of field goal range correct don't take the sack don't get a negative play but if I can be aggressive Palmer I'm still trying to go to the end zone to get the immediate DB and take as much pressure off of your kicker as you possibly can you just got to wonder what he's thinking right now lots of pressure on him in the last couple weeks man you're getting a lot of consistency from this QB and you got to love it as a play caller man you can drop him back you can throw the ball a ton you can trust him getting the ball a different wide receivers he's really in he's going to throw deep right side got it in stride inside the 20 touchdown South Carolina and inside a minute to go they've got the lead yeah and a nice job in the fourth quarter making plays and a nice job being on the same page QB receiver you could tell he broke with the football he caught it in stride gets into the end zone nice pitch and catch right there nice Chemistry by the qbn wide receiver he's got it had just enough room on the sideline to get the two aggressive play calling on that drive just two plays they get the long touchdown pass to pay it off they'll try to pin them back with this kickoff and then have the defense put the finishing touches on a win on the move from inside is five nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 no time to waste here they've got to get set and pick up chunk yardage looking to throw it's cook he's taking a deep shot late in the game and the ball is picked off would have loved to have gotten a big return out of that one but they'll take it first down at the 40 Big Time Players make big time plays in Big Time games great job by the defense not closing the door completely but stopping the momentum late in the game when you already got a lead nice job d there is nothing greater than a rivalry game unless you lose it and in that case there is nothing more miserable I agree reys and that's why rivalry games are so great because you take the stats and you take the rankings and you take the records and you throw it all out the window there's always tremendous effort and pass
