at you from all angles so I I'm interested to watch how do you mix up the play calling how do you keep the defense off balance cuz they are a good one you can barely hear yourself thinking here as they're trying to get this defense off to a good start and the ball is free on the pitch the defense snatches it and they're going the other way touchdown dog and the defense doing work you know the defense is all about stopping teams but when you have a chance to swing momentum scoop it and score yourself it is such a huge play yeah you just go over the offense like bro we don't need that we got this we we'll score ourselves if we have to great job by the defense doing what they need to do and then talk a little trash to the offense the ball squirts through the end zone that'll be a Touchback they'll bring it out to the [Applause] 25 and here comes the Texas offense back on the field they'll run the RPO and Fire to the right when you reach this point in the season these types of games top 25 matchups really determine whether you're going to be a contender yeah and really show what you're going to be the rest of the season how you going to finish strong throughout the season you know the first part of the season now getting to the middle of the Season Palmer getting a chance to show what you're about so you can finish thr it's a Resume Builder no doubt about it and really there's been so much anticipation building up to this top 25 matchup so which team can control their emotions I think goes a long way and who wins this one the offense will put it in play from the 47 on First and 10 he wants to throw and the ball is intercepted not a lot of room on the return but he' already got the most important thing the ball and they have it at the 46 the offense ling up for a first down play from the gun running back on the Move that's the 35 he's open oh work out they get him on the ground but not before he rumbles all the way to the five yeah and this is why he's leading the nation in Russia like you give him the football and he'll continue to make big place he's done it all throughout the season this offense features him and there is a reason why and how about that interior defense stuffing the run for nothing play how about the defender being a heat seeking missile he was on radar lock he found the football and flew down and he takes it to the house touchdown Bulldog well this offense is top 10 in the country in points per game because they've got a lot of speed and they've got home run hitters they score fast they don't need 10 plays to go down the field you saw it right there they've recruited well they've got Playmakers they are going to be a problem for defenses all year [Applause] long that ball skips through the end zone it's a Touchback and they'll take over at the 25 yd line here comes the Texas offense to say this has been a slow start as a bit of an understatement and they really need to get it going here Jesse that's right the opponent they're firing on all cylinders right out of the gate offensively for this unit they've been slow and struggling they need an explosive play to wake themselves up yeah and it's just the first quarter so it's not the end of the world you've seen slow starts but you got to continue to pick and pick and pick until you find that play or or that scheme that you can use against this defense put it right on him sweet play good pickup and they'll move the change with the first down he came into this year with big expectations everybody expecting him to stat it up and now with that last completion he's already over 2,000 yd passing for the season they've got it first and 10 at the 50 he's going to pass gets it out quickly makes that one pay off and they finally get him down at the 38 it'll be first down yeah this defense is going to have to have a plan for this tight end especially when he lines up in the slot because there's a lot of different routes he can run and because of his size and his wings span he's very very difficult to cover the long Lords have it with a first and 10 they're going to throw it again fires to the big fella they make the stop with the sweet throwing catches plenty to give him a first down great job by the offense listen if the defense is going to sit back in zone you know what you got to do run those crossers across the formation those guys that they're looking at the quarterback they're not trying to pick up receivers all the time make those precise throws right in those holes get those first downs get those big chunks comes out throwing on first down fires to the right it's incomplete and he's lucky to get that one back almost intercepted man this quarterback is living dangerously right now guys of course we're only in the first quarter this guy's already thrown one pick he should have thrown his second right there last play didn't go as planned now second and 10 from the 26 after the incompletion back to the passing game and he really needed to hold on to that one but it was not loose and third down is coming hey man if you're going to force incompletions when the QB's thrown the tight end you better be physical nice job with the hit forcing that incompletion fires to the big fella that's a really good tackle there giving up some size and still making the play you got to love that on defense one of the most critical statistics out there is how do you play on third down how do you prevent the opponent from keeping drives alive right there tackling the catch you gave up the completion whoopy Doo you set up fourth and long you're going to get the ball back go get some water and celebrate on fourth down they'll throw for it the completion well past the sticks and that's where they'll Mark him but a chunk play and they pick up a first down sometimes we don't give enough credit to a receiver knowing exactly where he needs to be on the field and they pick up the first down there yeah and you got to give the receiver credit obviously knowing where that is but the defender needs to know where it is too where is he trying to get that Ball's going to and the catch it right into the end zone touchdown Lorn would I start for this offense the throw game getting working getting the touchdown pass this quarterback getting a little bit of confidence this passing game getting in a rhythm nice start for this offense and the kick is good but there is a penalty flag because he paid for making that kick I think they're going to get him for rushing the kicker about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown and he'll return it and try to get behind his blockers he only needs a sliver of daylight got a inid room there he goes open it up he won't get him it's a touchdown no guts no glory parted In The End Zone didn't hesitate for a millisecond to take that thing back and boy to it pay off and this is why kickoff and turns are so exciting there's so much space between you and the other team riding down the field the only time you're going be provided that much space and you could tell he knew what to do with that space kicked on the Jets by Felicia that one bouns through the end zone and it'll be a Touchback so Texas has it again and here comes the offense last time they had it they took it down the field for a touchdown they can build some confidence that they could go backto back scoring drives here yeah and remember it's not uncommon for offenses to find themselves as the game goes on they had some things not go their way early but they found something last Drive David let's see if they can build on it yeah you you you just pick and pick and pick until you find that place where you're like okay this is an advantage I have they clearly found that dude they score here we're in for a ball game fires into traffic picked off got room on the return at the 30 he's at the 10 and he's going to run it all the way back touchdown Georgia they are seizing control and taking away hope as they push out the lead in this week eight Showdown really nice drive by this offense this is a top 10 defense this is a challenge they're going to make everything difficult so when you can make some plays against this defense you got to absolutely take advantage create some momentum for your squat nice drive by this offense line gets set first down complete to start this drive he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see which way that's going to go so the decision has been made and the coach will take the [Applause] penalty here comes the offense on first down AR that's the end of the first quarter with the score Georgia 28 Texas [Applause] 7 back to throw it's locked fires left and here's the third interception of the night QB's got to pick and choose their spots and they want to be really aggressive and try to fit balls and Tight Windows great job by the DB making a big play getting the ball back to its offense he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three let's be honest reys like the only time the fullback gets the football is usually in short yarded situations and the defense was locked in you got to try to get penetration with a shot toward The End Zone and that's going to be incomplete going for broke on second down but third Down's coming up bad news on that play it's an incompletion the good news is the quarterback knew if his guy wasn't going to catch it nobody was with that ball Landing out of bounds and the last thing they need is to squander this great field position facing a third and long a strike downfield and they finally get him stopped but it's a big throwing catch and he's down five I really like this offense staying aggressive they were in field goal range but nice job on third down forget that let's go get the first down let's throw the football nice read nice catch now set up with a first and goal situation he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple yeah and listen the offense has had their way and they've had so much success and so much production but listen at least the defense got a rep you know maybe this gets you some a spark maybe this get you some energy maybe we'll see a little bit more life from this defense yeah they may not win the game but I think this defensive coaching staff at this point based on how this game has gone they're just trying to find things to build off of maybe that's something they can point to as they get ready for their next opponent of things they did right things that they got to do more consistently moving for the offense trying to find a way on Fourth and goal from the [Applause] two looking to the end zone and it's caught touchdown do really nice job working the route getting himself open and he was able to locate the football snag it out of the air and this guy now has five receiving touchdowns on the year and the extra point sails through and they have a 357 lead almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown caught inside the 20 chance for a good return and The Return Man showing great vision to be able to find some space and put his team in much better field [Applause] position the longhorn sending the offense back onto the field well let's see if this drive goes better than the last one they were in and out quickly after the quick pick David yeah first play big mistake man now let's get this offense in a little bit of a rhythm maybe before you open it up again Palmer or do you trust him right away uh he seems to me like the guy that just needs to kind of get into the flow of the game so maybe you get the running game going here and just give him some easy looks to let him get lathered up fires to the wide out it's CAU and he's brought down after a nice game and there was no question in that scenario that's where the quarterback was going he knew he had his receiver in a matchup that he liked running a route where he would find himself open nice job between those two fight off a Defender oh and he finds Some solid space makes a nice game before the defense is able to stop him coaches always harp about staying ahead of the chain and when you can run with that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that good spot after that seven yd pickup on first down it's second and three grabb near the marker it's Hussein and they wrap him up but not before he's got enough for the first down that one's sort of like a shooter in basketball just needing to see what one go through the net isn't it David just just get a completion to your guy and pick up some yardage build some confidence cuz your confidence throwing the ball over the middle of the field and in tight Windows probably not at an all-time high but check it down make something positive happen the running back does his job so maybe this maybe this Sparks a little something something in the quarterback's head where he can feel a little bit more confident and bounce back from these early Mistakes by the back on the FL second line getting set on second Down [Applause] Easy Dino trying play action coming after him and it's his fourth interception of the game and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception and another mistake from this quarterback that's backto back drives now that have resulted in interceptions he's got to find a way he lobs one high down the left side and he makes the catch inside the 25 touchdown bulldogs and once he found open space the band might as well start playing and coming into the game you look at the stats and you say top 10 offense in scoring so they better be able to create what explosive plays another EXP exposive plays they've been doing it all year long those plays are back Breakers defenses just can't contain this offense and he's coming out of the end zone he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 take over first and 10 first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning he's looking to throw it unloads to the wide out now wide open downfield at the 45 on his way and he gets it to the 44 yd line it'll be a first [Applause] down up a new set of downs after the completion we wants to throw on first down fires to the wide out he makes a catch and he'll ramble to the 34 before he's finally knocked down and a really good job by the quarterback being very decisive he saw his matchup he went for it he attacked it got the positive gain I would say he's going to find that guy a few more times today quickly to the tie end and that corner came in hot despite knowing that he was giving up some size a nice job by the defense there tackling the catch and smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perfect coverage and nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to do fires to the middle all kinds of room to throw that one in there the stop is made but this offense is threatening first and goal from the nine and after that pitch and catch he's already over 200 yards and we're in the first half Jesse man ree he's dialed in right now he's really doing a nice job seeing the field reading and he Motors into the end zone touchdown Texas man nice job getting the passing game going this this is big man going into the half and listen I know you're trailing but building some momentum maybe this second half we can keep airing the football out cutting into this deficit and who knows what the heck will happen on to attempt the try and the kick is no good but the defense way too aggressive I think they roughed him the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty they'll try to attack one more on their Red Zone looking for a man and that makes five interceptions in this one when the nightmare is alive going the other way and he's got room he's at the 10 touchdown Georgia the defense puts six on the board with the big time interception return and they come up with a huge pick six and that is one of the reasons this defense has been so dominant all season long they don't give up big plays but they take the football away and once they do they've got better athletes than you do they're hard to bring down they can flip the game on a DME and it'll be a Touchback the ball will come out to the 25 yd [Applause] line and here come the horns they've got it again on offense that last pick six after a drive like that David can swing the momentum of a game and he's thrown another interception that's number two that's a good year for a lot of people what a day having two interceptions already I might try my hand on the other guy this guy is not somebody I want to mess with they get to him as he throws hit hard as he released the ball on that first down pass and didn't never had a chance he didn't have a whole lot of time to get rid of that one the defense was all over him right after the snap no wonder that thing fell [Applause] in dialing up a second down pass play that ball is is intercepted at the goal line and they make the play and make sure there's not any scoring opportunity right here before the end of the half what a nice catch by the defensive back listen a lot of times you see DBS get in position to make plays but there's a reason they play DB and not wide receiver great job finishing the interception catching the ball making a big play they'll crank up this drive with the pass got his man quickly now they've got even more breathing room out to the 31 and a fresh set of downs a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half time dwindling away as they try to put points on the board right before the half throws to the wide out catch in the middle it's Butler finally stopped at the 46 after a 15yd gain clock winding toward zero they'll get one more snap off 42 SPID going up top on first down he'll off one deep down the left side oh and it's picked off threw it right into the teeth of double [Applause] coverage that's going to wrap up the first half here and now we join Kevin with a halftime update6 Texas 14 [Music] we are ready to get it started here in the second half that might be overdoing it keeping it away from The Return Man as the kickoff goes out of bounds so the decision has been made and the coach will take the penalty offense set on first down he wants to start this drive with a pass hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver well the offensive line has got to give him at least a little bit of time to survey the field he had no chance that time getting hit almost immediately after he got the ball still on his feet at the 45 oh look out there he goes to down dogs and The Stomping has commenced huge play it's so nice to have guys that can create these explosive plays like this you hand it to him he can do the rest look at the speed look at the elusiveness get into the end zone nice run the kickoff team on the field he ought to just boom this thing through the end zone with that extra 15 yards on the penalty not going to give him a chance to make a play as they boot that thing through the end zone looking for a productive play on first down back to pass it's luck picked off trying to take it back and with the interception he'll take it all the way back touchdown Bulldog the DB saw it he thought don't drop it don't drop it then thought don't get caught don't get caught and he didn't the pick six hey these guys can play offense too now look at this I show you I can be a wide receiver coach might split him out at wide receiver next week after making that big play but defense great job making the interception and you're right doing something with it don't just slide down don't be content take that thing all the way back and they'll haul down the returner to start us on the next drive so now the Longhorns take over and they'll send out the offense well the good news is they threw a touchdown pass last time it was just to the wrong team Jesse well that's an unfortunate part of the game for quarterbacks but guess what they do happen so you've got to be able to turn the page here and Lead this offense well I think you know this defense is going to be aggressive they're going to jump routes they're going to play aggressive you got to take advantage of that maybe use that this time to your advantage he's going up top snags it at the 30 and still running and he ran away away from the defense to take it in touchdown long horse number 19 if this dude were a kitchen KN he would be slicing tomatoes so thin your in-laws would never come back to your house well that'd be a good thing I don't know if I want my in-laws to come back anyways but he's been on fire he's been absolutely torching this defense they've had absolutely no answers for him oh that's like blowing the layup or the 3-in putt missed the extra point still down big here in the third quarter but if you can recover this onside kick you might get back in the game they'd hope to get that thing bouncing around but the hands team is able to Corral [Music] it and Georgia ready to go back to work on [Music] offense try to to find his man on first down can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down and finally the defense is able to get some pressure on this quarterback they had been trying all game long different ways to affect him weren't able to get there but on that play because of the pressure it affected his accuracy and that's why the ball Falls incomplete across the 25 he's got room touchdown Georgia and the bubbling has started you just simply can't say enough about this guy and what he has meant to this offense big- time players make big plays in big games he has shown up each and every week that's his 15th Russian score on the season and the extra point was good lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown [Applause] drive it bouns through the back of the end zone it'll be a Touchback [Applause] and here comes the Texas offense back on the field there's certainly still a Hil decline but they've got to make sure these drives pay off got a touchdown last time can they back it up here well and it's amazing in a football game how sometimes they'll surprise you with what you do once you get settled and you realize what's going on now I'm comfortable with it Jesse this offense looked comfortable on this last Drive they sure did it looked like they started to find some momentum so now it's on this defense to stop that right you're a little bit upset based on what just happened the previous drive pass on the way it's picked off bringing it back the 20 inside the 10 and he will roll into the end zone touch down dog this guy really is the complete linebacker not only is he physical and not only can he play downhill to stop the run this guy is a re in pass coverage you saw it on that play what can't this guy do they'll kick it off and send that defense right back out there to try to score again after the pick six the kickoff bounces through the end zone they'll bring it out to the 25 here comes the Texas offense the big thing now don't get rattled by that last pick six David N going over the top into double coverage and they made him pay it's inter intercepted not a lot of room on the return but he'd already got the most important thing the ball and they have it at the 46 first snap of this drive will come from the 46 here's the handoff we'll give him a couple on that one second and eight coming up that's a really good job by the defense wrapping them up getting him on the ground take away that run game make him onedimensional put him in passing situations really good job by the defense on second down he'll let it fly and they wanted it all on that incomplete pass instead they're looking at third down I don't blame the quarterback for taking that shot either man he's hooked up with this guy twice today for scores give him another try they just couldn't get on the same page on that [Applause] one third and long and he'll try to throw for it he got it touchdown Bulldogs and the punishment has been extended have a day Young no I foresee some social media posts in his future not one not two but three receiving touchdowns on the day what a ball game about to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown bounces through the end zone it's a Touchback they'll bring it out to the 25 [Music] so Texas has it again and here comes the offense one of the most valuable things a quarterback can have David shortterm memory just he LOF it high and deep down the left side and they won't be able to connect downfield looking for a big time play well this defense knew coming into this one this offense would take shots they know they have targets that can fly and push down the field ver quickley nice job in coverage there last incompletion leaves them still sitting at their own 25 with second and 10 going back to the well another deep ball and it's intercepted a turnover from the defense and they capitalize not only on the pick but on the great return to improve this field position dude two drives two ints I don't know who the backup quarterback is but I might start thinking about doing something that goodness gracious a shot toward the end zone Falls incomplete and he did everything perfectly except catch the football second down coming couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again leaves it with the back just a one yd gain leaves him with third and nine at the 26 if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of [Music] momentum on Third and long he has to throw for it he took a hit as he threw it and couldn't deliver the football it's incomplete and fourth Down's coming really nice third down sub defense there that time it's third and long they're expecting pass and they're mixing up their looks they're trying to change the picture pre- snap to post Snap to confuse the quarterback now unleashes one deep touchdown Jo job and the beat down has ensued how about the day for this young fell that's a four game stretch nope four touchdowns in one game he has been the focal point of this offense and he has not disappointed and they did tack on the extra point by the way he knocked it right down the middle they're lining up to kick it off and he ought to be able to knock this one anywhere he wants after that extra 15 yds with the ruing the kicker he'll start the return inside his five couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the [Applause] 25 the offense set for a first down play wants to throw it's lock fires one high and deep fires into a world of traffic and it's picked off look that interception is not the quarterback's F it's those dumb coaches for putting him in the game putting him in that that position in the first place right I'll tell you what let's give the Defenders some credit here I think reys he just got a lot of Running Room the 30 10 touchdown dogs and the route is on man this guy is such a weapon because he's so dangerous if he gets into the second level great vision and then D shows you the speed just straight Wheels erasing angles a lot of times when you're chasing guys that are so fast like this you're like I got him I got him no I do not what a big long touchdown R had those stats young fell about to field after going a pick on the last drive need to take care of the ball this time Jesse we're going to find out a lot about this quarterback right here too how does he fight through adversity after that last Drive yeah clear the mechanism move on that that's a part of it right if you're going to be a great player you got to learn how to handle these mistakes and move on didn't get much on first down it's second and nine we goes to the option that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great t there you know I really like this QB running the football because I know he's got a lot of speed he's not the biggest guy in the world so he's not going to be able to break a lot of tackles you really got to do a good job of trying to scheme ways to get him out in more space Ball's at the 27 this offense facing a third and long dropping back it's l looking deep down the right side and it slips through his fingers incomplete wait that would have been a huge game if he could have held on this is a point where you just got to be able to focus and the critical down in distances in this game like that third down right there when it's a good throw you got to make the catch you've got to be able to make that play he's going for it all fires it into a crowd and it's picked off didn't get a chance to show off those running skills but he gets him the ball at the 29 yd line well that's the second pick in as many series now for this quarterback but David I I love the defense right now and the way they're reading and reacting to all these round Concepts I mean they are all over these guys on the back end all over the field making plays listen you're supposed to see the quarterback break on the he's taking the shot throw to the sideline it's complete and they've got a big play and the quarterback moves and let's hold on just a minute here as the officials are going to have a second look first and you know the standard is indisputable video evidence and the officials will change the call and here comes the offense on second [Applause] down Ringo Ringo sticks it in his belly he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three well that was just like trying to run through a traffic jam no place for the big fella to go yeah that's the whole key ree you can't let the big fella gets some steam so you got to stop him in his tracks right away running wide open Down the Gun of the field the 20 inside the 10 touchdown bulldog and The Stomping has commenced well in the modern era of college football you're seeing more and more athletic tight ends like what you just saw around right there the defense had no chance covering that guy down the field he makes them look silly on his way in for the long touchdown almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown the ball squirts through the endzone that'll be a Touchback they'll bring it out to the 25 [Music] they'll put this one in play first snap of the drive from the [Music] [Applause] 25 trying to start the drive with a pass he's going to let one fly down the middle fires it into traffic and it's picked off he was trying to get that return going instead he'll hand it to his offense at the 38 as they get set to snap at time winding down here in the quarter [Applause] he'll come out throwing on first down and they won't make the connection going for the big play I think the biggest issue in the passing game for this offense has been accuracy right the last time this guy took the field he completed less than 50% of his throws and you're looking for a huge play and he's got it inside the 20 touchdown Georgia and the Ping has started and this offense is quicking another touchdown didn't have to go far for this drive but this offense is doing what they want how they want when they want and the extra point just tacks a little bit more onto this huge lead this offense Prides itself on going after you and they did with that long touchdown pass to finish off a two-play drive the kickoff team out there set to boot it away [Applause] going for the return rolling the dice to bring it out of the end zone did not work out as he stopped at the 13 and here come the horns they've got it again on offense mistakes are going to happen as they did on that last drive now how will they he lost one down the sideline and that'll be incomplete they tried to hit him with a big one on first down and this guy has been so important to this defense and the way he plays on the back end top 10 in the nation in interceptions he just has a feel and reads the quarterback size he almost picked that last one of and the quarterback goes down all the way back at his four yd line he is a menace rushing to passer career sack number 20 I mean some people just have an from getting to the quarterback what a great job throughout his career getting there getting him down getting pressures he has been a quarterback's worst nightmare I was just going to say David you don't sleep well as a quarterback the night before you have to play against this guy because he is going to sack you that is a guarantee death taxes and sacks for that guy coach has no choice here the offense has to stay on the field down multiple possessions this late fourth down attempt coming shoot to to the left what a job to lay out and make the catch and this junior to get I think that's a good call by the offense they'll come to the line at the 42 facing a third and long from the gun wants to pass wide open he makes the catch touchdown dogs and the punishment has been extended they extend this fourth quarter lead and now they are staring at a seven game winning streak and you knew this one was over already but how about an exclamation point to go with it another score for this offense they've had themselves a great day and the stats just continue to pile up and with that extra point the lead remains in the guard ganu in category quick strike offense
