Intro welcome to to Miami this is a big event City and folks here are fired up for this one inside Hard Rock stadium as the Miami Hurricane try to represent the great tradition of their program we're expecting a full house this afternoon we've got an anticipated Clash here as we see a squad from the M The Ball State Cardinals taking on the 23rd ranked team the Miami Hurricanes 3A sports college football I'm Chris fer here in the booth with per KB Street and I think we've talked long enough for let's get this game going [Applause] Opening Kickoff / 1st Quarter the Hurricanes will kick it away screen pass here and he picks up the first down tackled at the 32 they might have a chance for a couple more plays before the quarter expires it's a draw to the back defense will make the Stop and it will probably be the final play of this opening quarter Kirk as we take a break for the quarter here it's Miami in front let's check out the stats now through the opening periodi 2nd Quarter plenty of time for some plot twists here as we begin the second quarter ninth play of the drive coming up this is a tough third and long dropping back looking to throw for the first down here's a screen pass to brought down after a nice run just a great play and the back now goes in motion a pop pass on the Jet Sweep fights through a tackle defense shoves him out of touchdown or field goal back to throw it's with this receiver running a route like this makes it pretty simple all you have to do is get his head turned [Applause] around and the extra point gives him a double digit [Applause] [Music] lead dropping back it's Kelly receiver makes the catch tackle finally made that's aide your own 20 how much of a risk will they take to try to pick up this first down quarterback drops back the tight end back from the shotgun looking for an open man quick throw caught over the middle timeout is called to talk strategy the defense is expecting a run instead you go play action and you throw it to the big man for some positive yards on First and 10 incomplete but a penalty flag is down in the back field let's get the [Applause] call drops back looking to throw for it on third down and he's brought down offense going backwards with the sack that can scle for halftime it'll be first and 10 back to throw it's Ward tries the right with a quick throw he's got it for a big game much time remaining before the end of the half oh downfield catch made on the left side finally brought down but it's an explosive before the [Applause] half and it's good and that will extend their lead even further the Miami [Music] HALFTIME be the final play of this first half Met's going to wrap up the first half here let's kick it now to Kevin Connor with our halftime update guys who's got a better seat there in South Florida than you a captivating start to this one and there is no better place to start this halftime than by reviewing how this wide out has been a Onan Wrecking Crew the kid's been everywhere and I love how he's willing to go across the middle but that he also has the Jets to burn these DBS on the Deep ball if this defense wants to actually come back in this one they better hide his cleats out of the shotgun they stop him but it's a first down another [Music] Miami on First and 10 here looking to throw the ball caught in the back field it's George touchdown hurricane and the beat down continues that's another strike from this quarterback Kirk he is having himself a day this guy's just having one of those days you dream about against this secondary let's also give credit to the wide receivers doing a nice job [Applause] of and the kick is up and good they tack on a point to their lead long here from the [Music] 13 quick grab and they bring him down that's a very solid gain but dropping back we're going to throw for the first find his man it's Presley and head out looking to throw it again grab down the middle it's Presley they stopped the receiver but that's a solid gain in that play and they pick up the first on the ground he'll stop him behind the Le the last Drive the ground game was so successful ended in a touchdown we'll see if the defense can respond to it this time and they'll bring him down but this offense creates a huge finally sets up a first down and five and the runner takes off to his right just trucks through the defender and what down at the three but that's enough there's the handoff touchdown KES this one is getting ugly that's a crucial touchdown Kirk the offense padding its lead now here in the second half yeah you get into this second half you start to count possessions and how big your lead is now that you're two Poss [Applause] start and the phc is good as they continue to pull away even more this crucial conversion right now on third down he drops to throw finds a man to the left Big Catch down field that gain is gone from the 45 dropping back looking to throw for the first down clicking they really built momentum can the defense make adjustments come up with a stop here they bring him down to the 32 yd [Applause] line off an RPO the quarterback looks to his right tackles made but not before he makes the complete they tried to squeeze in a deep shot with time running down in the third quarter Kirk has we take a break for the quarter here it's Miami in front it's been pretty one-sided so far at the end of three let's check out the stats [Music] 4th Quarter from the 42 hand off to the right side running with purpose brought down at the 46 good enough for a first down is third down and long a pop pass on the Jet Sweep breaking tackles they stop him after a side your own 20 how much of a risk do you take you know this defense could be very aggressive at this moment the and he's going to float this one to the right side oh the pass is picked off he's got some room and some blockers here crosses the 10 brings the interception all the way back touchdown Miami but the takeaway and the touchdown that is just a dream blade for any Defender Cur well let's start with the interception I just love the fact that he got his eyes turned around found the football and then has the athletic ability to be able to sec he manages the footing and the extra point is up and good get this drive going now they face third and 10 from inside their own 20 what's the call going to be he's running out of time here and the senior the right side that's a big game one man at the back field and he'll get the football that's a nice tackle there by the senior here and that's the two-minute warning as this off it's a shotgun run call fights off a Defender they stop him for a 2yd gain which will bring up four kick is good gives the offense three points to show for that drive and that will extend their lead even further Miami 4 [Music] and long inside your own 20 how much of a risk will they take to try to pick up this first down looking for his big tight end he pulls it in for a big gain heads out of bounds after a solid game in this game but man it could really help you down the road as far as showing what your character is about and how you're not giving up tackle is made but that's good for a first down of the 47 dropping back they going to throw for the first down receiver looks it in it's complete the game picks up the first down tackled at the 37 here comes a first down pass attempt catch made on the left side that's a big game before he goes out of bounds here's the snap looking to throw a short completion of the tight end they bring him down but that's a solid gain on the play tight end brought down
