you know how chaos can UE and they start smelling an upset as we'll see a team fresh and ready to go off of by we the UL Monro warhawks taking on the eighth ranked team in the land the Texas Longhorn for EA Sports college football I'm reys Davis David PA Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it [Applause] going and the warhawks will kick it away to start on the move from inside is five able to find enough room to get it out across the 25 he's brought down at the 26 so the Texas Longhorns offense will get the first crack out it here and here comes the big fella a staple of this aerial attack Jesse and he's a guy they can line up all over the field David there's matchups out there waiting to be taken advantage of yeah it's so nice nice to be able to do that it makes it easy to play quarterback when you can feature a guy like this that's fast big and strong grabbed in the back field it's help he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense love the decision making by the quarterback there on the RPO play defense took everything away deep down the field so just check it down get it to your guy in the right flat let him go get yards now they're starting to feel it they've got a first down at the 44 well we knew coming into this game this offense was going to try and get this receiver involved and get him involved early so here they are just finding an easy completion it's not a touchdown but they just want to get this guy lathered up and get him into a r and they pick up just a few on that completion this quarterback right now is in Grove he's doing a nice job in PR snap he's reading the coverage and he's getting an idea of where he wants to go with the football that's why the ball's coming of his hands so quickly that's why he seems like he's in a great R he is stopped behind the line of scrimmage they'll lose yard on that one they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one throws to the wide out wide open downfield and they finally get him stopped but it's a big throw and catch and he's down at the five we knew this offense wanted to come out here and let it rip through the air this QB is in a beautiful them early nice job with his footwork and his eyes and he completes a big one there get this offense H touchdown Texas and they'll put that scoreboard operator to work and put six on the board really nice job working the route getting himself open he's able to locate the football snag it out of the air and this guy now has five receiving touchdowns on the year he'll try another to their lead and the extra point is good and it's seven nothing so that scoring Drive took only six [Applause] plays and no chance at a return here they'll start this drive at their own 25 so UL Monroe offense will try to get something started with their first possession here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an impact in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play while they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the key for their respective teams yeah and they don't always show up in the Box SC but these are the guys are the leaders these are the guys getting everybody organized and have to play well for their team to succeed maybe some confusion on the snap count there that's maybe what caused the fall start either way offense is penalized the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty this crowd full throat spreading the eard drums and letting him know it's going to be a long day good solid tackle man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out line getting set on second down hand off from the shotgun brought down to the ground but he has enough for the first down and that's back to back now we've seen this running back get it done on their opening drive of the game that last carry got the first down so if I'm the offensive coordinator right now I love the way my o Line's playing and I love the way this guy's toen The Rock I'm going to give it to him again yeah and it's so hard to contain this guy with all those options he has and the experience at the quarterback spot but nice job by the defense limiting the damage didn't give up a huge game unloads to the wide out complete to the right and they'll move the chains and a good way to wrap up the first quarter guys it is Texas who holds the lead we put one in the books Let's have a look at our game summary [Music] [Applause] lots of time left and we're ready to get back to it and open the second period the warhawks have it with a first and 10 used the play fake now to throw pocket starts to collapse pass rush coming after the quarterback and they get him at the you use to play action to try to slow down the rush make the defense hesitant in that case they weren't hesitant at all no they weren't and it was a nice job with respect to effort on defense you saw guys engaged oneon-one they got dudes beating some blocks lots of speed in the front of that defense you saw it on that play on Third and long doesn't need to take the check down using the back as a receiver on the screen man this guy's going to need some water when he gets to the sidelines they've been putting him to work on this drive right you've seen him toting the rock with success now you're seeing him get involved in the passing game too they are highlighting his versatility here on this drive and the kicker delivers the three to salvage that [Applause] drive after that last field goal Drive they're set to kick it away [Applause] he'll bring it back from inside his spot really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 so Texas has it again and here comes the offense they Unleashed an aerial assault last time that took him right to the end zone David So ree with that drive I think you've accomplished something you wanted to accomplish make this defense think you put them back on their heels now shoot Palmer you might be able to slip a few runs in on this drive to really Jack them up I like that idea but I also like the fact that speed kills they've got it at the receiver position so if You' got one-on-one matchups man take advantage they'll snap this one from the 42 it's first and 10 now I think this receiver's Forte is his route running he's a guy that can line up all over the field but it's not just catching post routes and goes this guy can run shallows he can run Slants he can run the option routes and find soft spots in the defense this guy really has all the routes in his toolbox going to throw it again the sure hands it's golden they make the stop but the sweet throwing catches plenty to give him a first down how about this offense they're rolling they got a couple first downs together defense next what's your response what do you got you got to make some adjustments here they believe they can run right here really nice stop there from this senior leader and these always put the defense in a Bine but listen you give up the Run they get a short little gain no harm no foul and now on second down for this offense On The Run it's yers fires a bullet oh it's picked off got room on the return and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception what a nice catch by the defensive back listen a lot of times you see DBS get in position to make plays but there's a reason they play DB and not wide receiver great job finishing the interception catching the ball making a big thr they're trying to get to it and the DB forcing the incomplete pass with the deflection this is going to be a key that we look at this entire game how can this defense find ways to affect this quarterback and get pressure on him because they felt coming into the game if they could do that they could affect him fires into traffic picked off taking it the other way and he's going to run it all the way back touchdown L hard the DB saw it he thought don't drop it don't drop it then thought don't get caught don't get caught and he didn't the pick six hey these guys can play offense too now look at this I showed you I can be a wide receiver coach might score out at wide receiver next week after making that big play but defense great job making the interception and you're right doing something with it don't just slide down don't be content take that thing the way back lining up to tack one more onto before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down that's a way to give yourself some breathing room now the second play of the drive from the 36 unloads it left makes a connection a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half finally this offense starting to shake the cobwebs and get things moving it's first and 10 hard hitting tackle quick Tempo no huddle off and second down clock's running looking for a man it's booty and that pass is intercepted didn't really have room to operate on the turn and he hands him the ball at the 32 this is obviously not a great start for this quarterback here two interceptions already in this game he's got to do a much better job with his decision Mak fires to the tie down he's there to make the stop but the damage has been done as they pick up the first down on the throwing catch that's quite a start to a drive and now they'll snap it from Midfield pulls it in it's balen and he'll get behind those pads and deliver the blow and get it down to the 44 right on target with that last pass now it's second and medium he's looking to throw gets it out fast they've got it inside the 30 they'll mark it at the 28 it's first down the log horns come to the line with a fresh set of downs to the air on first down got a man it's Bal nice Patience by the quarterback here working against Zone coverage he was allowing his receiver an opportunity to find that open space in the defense before pulling the trigger finds his man down the middle the offense uses a timeout to stop the clock and they'll get a quick breather time dwindling away as they try to put points on the board right before for the half wants to throw on first down he's got it on the Move they'll get him stopped just short of the end zone but they're in business here with a first down they'll use a timeout right before halftime maybe time for one or two more plays the Longhorns line it up with a first and goal easy dropping back it's yers PS it in in the end zone touchdown Texas these guys are really hitting their stride in week four as they push out that lead look it's still early but we have some real distance being put on the scoreboard right now you do it's early but you got to find something positive right now everything going in the other direction so how are you going to respond when you hitting the mouth early in this football game got to find something positive quick they'll try to add another to their lead the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead a 67 yd touchdown drive there and they finish it up with a three yard scoring toss on the run from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 they'll come out and take a knee and that should send us to [Applause] halftime that's the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin and our halftime update fellas you've been calling a First Rate game so far from Austin today it's been a fun start to this one and this offense has really been the story they've opened up a sizable lead and unless something drastic changes things might get even more out of hand a combin of lethal efficiency and that offensive line has been the key they've mauled that defense and also just about broken their will and with that let's get it back to our fellas at [Music] DKR and the long horns will kick it away to start the second half [Applause] Texas and he's coming out of the end zone I know he thinks he can house every return but sometimes you just have to take a knee as he stopped at the 14 you will Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work they're going to open this drive with a pass and they're not quite in Rhythm there it's incomplete after the misfire now on second down back to pass it's Moody quick strike complete stopped at the 24 yd line after the 10yd gain and the warhawks want to pick up the tempo great job by the offense being patient understanding when they're in zone coverage I got to hit those Tight Windows make those precise passes to get those big plays and he'll make his way out of bounds after the solid pick up now on second and short after that pick up [Applause] out of the gun they'll run it inside a pick up of five marched it at the 36 yd line the warhawks are moving quickly down the field quarterback on the keeper you want to make sure to maximize those types of runs and he gets it out to the 41 now on second down he's looking to throw and the defense is all over the quarterback and down he goes and this offensive Line's got to do a better job man you got to protect your qu listen this offense is not playing great they got to somehow find a way to start to get something together here in this second half and that's incomplete a Defender all over him knocked the ball to the ground fourth down coming up and the warhawks will try to pin them back with the punt the punters have had the day off up to this point first one of the game secures it at the 30 he gets it up to the 34 yd line before he stopped and that's where the offense will set up shot the longhorn sending the offense back onto the field snags a quick pass on the left Just Trucks through it they get get him down at the 49 but not before he picks up 15 took just one play and they got it almost to Midfield first down from the 49 quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver gets it past the marker finally pulled down but not before moving the change for a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of down [Applause] looking to go up top on first down that's caught it's golden they stop him almost immediately short gain there and still a little ground cover to pick up the first that completion leaves us with second and medium out of the gun they give to the back they get him on the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down I love when players understand the situations and they understand where the first down marker is and they understand where I got to get to a lot of people you'll see run north south and try to bounce got some room enter to the goal line TCH down long hard and the beat down has ensued and this receiver is on fire he's got all the skills that you look for in a big time Target that's already his second touchdown of the game [Applause] now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic and the extra point gives him a 283 lead a very efficient five playay scoring drive and it was capped with an explosive 22 yd run and he's coming out of the end zone stopped at the 17 and he's probably second guessing that return guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time they hope to be able to cash in on this drive David after having to punt it last time yeah and I think this offense needs to start it with the first play you need to be successful and productive on that first play and it gets you in less predictable situations No Doubt to and don't you just feel like there's a little bit more sense of urgency on this drive it just feels like they've got to be able to put some points up on the board guys it is Texas who holds the lead this has been utter domination through three quarters in The Stance will back that [Music] up one more quarter to play and it might be unlikely but he it's college football comebacks happen now on first and 10 from the 27 he's looking to throw it he's right on Target and that defense doesn't allow a cut back and they get him out of bounds after a short game right on target with that last pass now it's second and medium back to throw it's booty unloads to the right and he's lucky to get that one back this junior quarterback knows better than to try that too often couldn't find his man last time and that leaves him with a third and six from the gun wants to pass looking left and they can't make the connection on third down and it's just been that kind of day for this quarterback and this offense guys they have never been able to get into a rhythm throwing the football timing's been off accuracy hasn't been great we've seen some drops just not in syn and that's why they find themselves trailing by a lot right here late desperately to convert on fourth down but couldn't do it but this is just the type of field position this offense [Applause] wants defense there to stop him after a gain of three but he is inside the 3 to the 29 got three on first down it's second and seven fires to the wide out nice defensive play to get a hand in there and knock it away they're within field goal range at the 29 let's see if they can pick up a few or the first down on Third and long a quick completion to the left looking for the first down and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage it's Fourth and eight and never a hesitation they'll go for it wide out in motion on fourth down trying to find his man makes the grab and he's got the first and right in the middle of tight coverage and he still makes the grab at the 15 the long Lords will snap it on First and 10 caught in the back field it's balen and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that one just another big play for this guy who spent the entire game wide open couple of touchdowns there and he moves the sticks Again David yeah so I'll keep finding I mean this is a guy that listen we're in the second half now he's already made plays I know I can trust him so I'm going to continue to feature him in this offense cuz I know he'll continue to make big plays they've got it down to the three now it's second and goal quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep and we have breaking news they score yet another touchdown and this always is the debate of where you fall it's your job to stop me or I should get conserv this offense obviously has had themselves a day and apparently their day is not over they're going to continue to keep scoring and the defense better do something about it lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point is true and the score is 35-3 and for a quick update let's go to Kevin Conor in the studio arguably the game of the week fillers with two top 25 teams locking horns Oklahoma is down right now and that's unusual for this program most fans in six and I'm a fan of this man run the football eat the clock we got the lead this offense has put together a nice day man like just balance Rhythm timing play calling everything is worked that's why they built this lead they've had a great day today and the defense down in this game they just can't do anything to stop this offense at this point David right now they know they're going to be trying to run the football and try and game but there's nothing at this point that seems they can do yeah and it's frustrating I got to sell out man I got to bring as many guys to the line of scrimmage as I can I got to find a way to get this ball back to my offense the the clock is not my friend and them running the football is only going to run this thing out quicker I got to find a way to make something happen strip the football do something wants to throw it's Manny he's got it they didn't quite get that rout run deep enough to pick up the first down now they've got a fourth and chore and I think everybody at home tends to yell at their television set why aren't you getting past the first down marker why did you run your route short defense did a good job knowing where that was but now fourth down offense has to make a decision wide receiver shows motion caught in the back field it's golden he steps out bound but he's got a first down on the play and they must have had a play in practice that they just felt was Unstoppable because they essentially just took away an automatic Chip Shot F touchdown Texas and The Stomping has commenced they extend this lead and it looks as if they are going to make it two wins in a row points points and more points this offense has had their way they just keep their foot on the gas keep putting up points keep putting up touchdowns and you know what this is one of those stats things you look back and you're like that guy had 12 touchdowns on the year Well four or five of them might have been in this game and the extra point just tacks a little bit more onto this huge lead almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and he just take a knee and this drive will start at the 25 U Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work at this point it really hasn't been your best day just try to find something to build on here at the end David just try to keep fighting show your kids are going to keep fighting keep throwing the football try to get some points up Palmer points have been at a premium they haven't scored very much but keep fighting man yeah and just you know try to find things to build off of for next week as well and there was nowh to go for this quarterback and down he goes the defense puts the exclamation point on the day they have had a wonderful day man doing everything great just you could tell they were dialed into what was going on and now just thr and it's his fourth interception of the night looking for more room inside the 10 and he's going to score on the interception touchdown Lorn they extend the lead here in the fourth and after stumbling early about to push their record to three and one and man the offense has the lead has the football all you got to do is run the clock out maybe even conservative run the football they chose to throw and the defense makes them [Applause] pay he'll try to add another to their lead exra point and with the extra point the lead is even bigger they're about to kick it away and the defense probably can't wait to get back out there after the pick six and it'll be a Touchback the ball will come out to the 25 yd line guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time not a lot to feel great about in this one Jesse but I'm sure they'll try to seek out some positives well this might be an opportunity too Rees to go back when they watch this game and just find the plays and the schemes that were working there weren't a lot obviously David but maybe an opportunity for the coaching staff to condense The Playbook a little bit I was going to say there's not a lot of good to go back that' be a quick film session because there was more negatives than positives but when you look at this this week you got a week to figure it out figure out what your offense is going to be moving forward can't quite make the connection there too much and this defense has put a game together like it is hard to put all the facets of Defense together run defense past defense they've been so good man dialed in you could tell they were ready they were fast they were physical they dominated this football game and that one's too high and too wide out of bounds and incomplete they had the big play to start the drive but a couple of misfires now leaves us with third and 10 he'll take a deep shot here and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge gain if he could have squeezed it on fourth down looking for the completion going for it all can't hook up on the long throw and fourth down goes by the wards for this offense and these aren't easy situations for these offenses man like it's a known passing situation the defense is playing coverage coverage cover nowhere to go with the football forces the incompletion and this one is all but over one more play to pad the [Music] stats dropping back it's Manning he'll take a shot it's incomplete and they tried to finish this quarter with a bang and couldn't quite connect well this one had all the suspense of a bug hurdling his way toward a windshield and they did splatter them an absolutely dominating performance you got to give the coaching staff a ton of credit they obviously had their guys ready to play and motivated right from the opening kick all three phases we saw just spectacular football no mental mistakes David you really can't play better than that n it's it's really fun to do this come out and just dominate opponents start from Finish nothing to worry about you just know you're better you're going to do you put up a bunch
