their heels now on second down scanning the field it's castios and that pass will be Jarred loose on second down that brings up third down third they line up with some serious work to do if they want convert this [Music] one on Third and long he has to throw for it unloads it downfield and he intercepts it takes it the other way he was hoping for that interception return from the touchdown but he's brought down at the 27 most defenses are lucky if you have one good covering Corner fewer are lucky if you have two they've got three DBS three corners that can play at the same time in their nickel package that they feel can go mono imano with anyone in the country and you saw it on that last play coming away with [Music] [Applause] the temple takes over and the offense will return to the can run it what what can't he do this guy's so talented when he does stuff like this there's no way to stop it there's no way to coach a defense up against us he's just really fast and I can't catch him they'll run it on first and goal they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one yeah and listen the offense has had their way and they had so much success and so much production but listen at least the defense got a rep you know maybe this gets you some a spark maybe this gets you some energy maybe we'll see a little bit more life from this defense yeah they may not win the game but I think this defensive coaching staff at this point based on how this game has gone they're just trying to find things to build off of maybe that's something they can point to as they get ready for their next opponent of things they did right and things that they got to do more consistently moving forward they'll look to throw on Third and goal touchdown now and The Stomping has commenced how about that second receiving touchdown in the ball game find ways to get your athletes the ball they'll do the rest that's number two they better start playing some better defense Three is coming penalty on the kickoff first down for this offense out of the gun the running back has it and he'll pick up one it brings up second and nine the Run game just has not been working for this offense all game long you saw it on that last play as well just not getting enough push up front on the offensive line they haven't been physically they're trying to get to it and they're on him immediately down goes a quarterback and this offensive lines got to do a better job man You' got to protect your quarterback listen this offense is not playing great they got to somehow find a way to start to get something together here in this second half 29 on Third and long hoping to throw beyond the sticks and how about that DB getting a hand in there and forcing the incomplete pass Boston College will send out the punt team man this quarterback is living dangerously right now obviously he threw a pick on the last Drive he's trying to complete that throw but the defender gets a hand on it tips it up in the air that's oh no that is an oh no situation they're lucky that one hit the ground Temple takes over and the owl will send the offense back onto the field this offense is really been quicking in the game so far Jesse no doubt everything their play caller is dialing up these guys offensively have been able to go out and execute them yeah and it's just maintaining the lead keep doing what you've been doing you got a big lead let's just keep piling it on until they find an answer and he just continues to put up numbers and that number is now over 300 this guy just throws completions man the ball doesn't seem to touch the ground he's back there he's Mak hit the afterburners kid touchdown out and the puddling has started and impressive run from the back gets him six points good drink of water and maybe a little oxygen he definitely needs some oxygen after that long run but it looks simple right just hand the ball off but when you can make big plays like this in the Run game man doesn't make offense [Music] fun lining up to attack one more onto that lead and with the extra point the lead is even bigger that drive took no time at all couple of plays and finished it with the and the eagle offense returns to the field F the last time we saw this offense we had to look quick it was a three and out Jesse he just had no rhythm in that last drive so someone's going to have to step up and make a play David and get this thing going yeah let's find some juice find your guy find those plays that you know you can run that inside out forward backwards get some first downs get some positive momentum that first down was rather unproductive let's see what they've got on second down from the 16 they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one that linebacker saw the express lane right to the ball carrier and a great job by the defensive line getting some push making them use their resources on him linebacker comes free be to make in the back field for a tackle for a once defense was not fooled by that screen to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down Boston College lining up to punt this one away they've been busy out there to punt for the fifth time today he only needs a sliver of daylight he's going to get loose found a lot of running room before he goes out of bounds and what away to build a little momentum Temple takes over and the offense will return to the field line gets set first down they'll crank up this drive he'll take a shot and it's incomplete as he was trying to make the play in the back corner of the end zone that was just inches away from being a touchdown he tried to get his feet down there was a little toe tap but just couldn't stay in bounds this offense has a second down play the back goes in motion after the incompletion back to the passing game he got his hands on it but couldn't hold on to it and what a time that would have been for their first pick of the game well the defense has had enough of this right the quarterback's on a hot streak the ball's not hitting the ground and right there they decide we are jumping one of these routes we're going to try to get a pick almost came away with one there pressure coming and the defense makes a play they get the quarterback down at the 26 and those outside linebackers nowadays they're so fast they got to cover ground you can Blitz them off the edge and they can get after quarterbacks from versatile that's why they're getting drafted so high in the NFL and getting paid all that money on fourth down they're taking to the air deep shot for the end zone and it's incomplete way downfield and the defense Rises to the occasion you know offensively in that situation fourth down you're throwing for it everything has to go right or someone just needs to be able to make a play to keep the drive alive they couldn't get it done and now the offense is coming off the field he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pickup and moving the six for a first down guys it's temple with the lead here at the end of the quarter well guys so far this has been a massive beat down and it would appear the biggest challenge is what kind of Records can they set as we have a look at the third quarter stats so will the beat down continue or is this a comeback for the ages in store we'll see as we start the fourth they got a fresh set of downs not able to break the big one on that screen to the running back but he found enough and a solid pick up on first down second down coming up well a nice Gainer on that running back screen and how about the offensive line getting down field and getting blocks to really help out the back find some space to go to work and I don't care if I get it by two by 20 by 30 by 40 I just I just want to get it a first down understanding the situation understanding where the sticks are doesn't have to be sexy but I got to make sure I get to that stick get to the first down great play by the cornerback he was just way too physical at the point of attack he beat his man trying to block him and he tackled that receiver on SC C in the back field It's Bradley the defense wouldn't let him loose and even though it's in completion they lost yardage from here it would just be a 30yd field goal try let's see how aggressive they're going to be to try to pick up that first down cats open down the middle got enough space touchdown now Boston College made the snag and stroll his way into the end zone a nice pitch nice catch and listen maybe this helps next game right like we're trying to find a rhythm find something that works find somebody to go to and this offense is struggleing you're down by a thousand but I like that they continue to fight almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown on the move from inside is five he gets a block he just about popped that one for a long one but as it is he gives his team a lot of momentum with a solid return Temple takes over and the owl will send the offense back onto the field what a turn that last Drive was didn't pick up the fourth down and it led to the scoring Drive David yeah and those are frustrating cuz you think you might get points and then your defense gives hit the gas kid wide open ahead running free going to the End Zone but way back behind it there's a flag on the field so not even the pass interference could stop that play they'll decline the penalty and they have the touchdown [Music] [Music] [Music] looks as if they didn't get it off in time it'll be a delay of game delay of again offense the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty for the exra point and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead and that is the height of efficiency on that drive single play hit the big chunk get the touchdown [Music] kickoff team is on the field they'll try to drive this one deep he'll bring it back from inside the 15 just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 Boston College sending the offense back onto the field they'll snap the ball first play of the drive coming from their own 24 lasso lasso off the play fake on first down to throw and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 you've got to love what you're seeing if you're the head coach of this team because your defense is simply not resting on their Laurels and they're playing until their Zero's on the clock they've got a massive lead we're late in the fourth quarter and they're still getting sacks to the air it's c and it'll be incomplete this defense is physical and pass deep you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 getting some heat and the Freshman will talk up a sack one thing I love about this defense and they showing it here in this game is there's a variety of ways they can get after your quarterback they can get home with four they can get home with three or they can Blitz guys from all over the field but they've got athletes with bad intentions and they've registered a ton of sacks in this one fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way makes a move wide open and it's a foot race he did a great job finding some Running Room on that return and was able to set up the offense with good field position Temple takes over and the offense will return to the field they torched this defense with an explosive passing play for a score last time out let's see if they go right back at him off the play fake on first down unloads to the wide out grabbed over the middle it's right touch down out and the route is on points points and more points this offense has had their way they just keep their foot on the gas keep putting up points keep putting up touchdowns and you know what this is one of those stats days you look back and you're like that guy had 12 touchdowns on the year Well four or five of them might have been in this [Music] game they'll try to add another to their lead the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead that's taking advant of a golden opportunity set up with great field position and they struck quickly for the touchdown let's see what he can get done from inside his own 15 he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 all game long guys that's his third sack of the game it's third down now they ought to be able to get off one more play before the two-minute warning we reached the two-minute warning and we see miracles in college football all of the time and they could use one here on Third and long a check down would be the last resort and this defense has maxed out this pressure another s and man is that a just indictment of the day your quarterback getting drilled late in the football game this offense has sputtered they haven't found any kind of good Rhythm they haven't done things that that really gives your coach confidence and and makes you want to believe in them this offense has a lot of work to do before their next football game Boston College will send out the punt team doesn't say much for your drive when you're looking forward to the punt sometimes avoiding disaster is the best thing the punter just gets it out of there that Nifty return sets up the offense and negates some of the yardage on the punt Temple takes over and the owls send the offense back onto the field and now one of the most satisfying moments in football just watching that clock drain away while you have control of the ball Jesse this is definitely one of the best play callers right for an offensive coordinator you're getting ready to go into Victory formation unleashes one deep and good coverage there to knock it away and deny the score they'll try again on second down after the incompletion SP dropping back it's Brock throws to the tight end got him downfield and they're going to score again yet another touchdown as they just add their total man this has been a complete performance the defense has been lights out and the offense obviously just continues to pour it on this is what you call having a great day putting it all together offense defense complimentary football [Music] lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point just tacks a little bit more onto this huge lead this offense Prides itself on going after you and they did with that long touchdown pass to finish off a two-play drive from inside the 15 here's the return he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 BC has it back and the eagle offense returns to the field this one has pretty much been a bludgeoning but they'll try to finish with something positive late well they ran into a buzz saw today and I don't think it would matter what type of exes and no they're out there executing David Jimmy and the Joe's they just they're just not as good as the opponent to and as an athlete sometimes hit you in the face and it stinks but you're not good enough and today they were not good enough and I'm going to do the best I can to try to flush this down the toilet not remember it forget it move on for the next G maybe something right here I can create positive that carries over to practice and maybe next week they're bringing heat and that pressure just engulfed him a sack for this defense the defense puts the exclamation point on the day they have had a wonderful day man doing everything great just you could tell they were dialed into what was going on and now just throw another sack in the equation hitting the quarterback being disrupted they've been all over the field this is a third and long trying to get to him H as he throws he took a hit as he threw and couldn't deliver the football it's incomplete and fourth Down's coming Boston College lining up to punt this one away slips through the line and he loses the football not able to pop the big return but they've got the ball back and ready to go with a fresh possession Boston College sending the offense back onto the field not a lot to feel great about in this one Jesse but I'm sure they'll try to seek out some positive well this might be an opportunity to Rees to go back when they watch this game and just find the plays and the schemes that were working they learn a lot obviously David but maybe an opportunity for the coaching staff to condense The Playbook was to say there's not a lot of good to go back to that' be a quick film session CU there was more negatives than positives but when you look at this this week you got a week to figure it out figure out what your offense is going to be moving forward and this defense has put a game together like it is hard to put all the facets of Defense together run defense pass defense they've been so good man dialed in you can tell they were ready they were fast they were physical they dominated this football game today and that defense penetration gave him no chance and he is ridden out of bounds the golden eagles come to the line trying to convert on fourth down let's go he'll try to throw and pick up the first down that's caught it's mwan he is and they'll turn it over on Downs just a crushing blow at this point in the game game they'll get the timeout with 5 seconds remaining to [Music] play one more doesn't affect the outcome just a little cherry on top of the Sund and you knew this one was over already but how about an exclamation point to go with it another score for this offense they've had
