take the field with the confidence the swag that this guy does David it just really elevates your confidence in the passing game receivers don't usually lack confidence and those are the guys that kind of set the tone that Swagger sets the tone for this offense and Jesse you know he's going to make and that speed scares defenses too because he can take the top off quick these safeties better get back deep or else this guy's going to take it to the house he L it high and deep down the left side got it inside the tag and he strides his way into the end zone touchdown Buffalo this offense is so good man they can hurt you in so many different ways and they do it so quick so explosive they can put small Drives together big Drives together they've really had a great year and that's why they're a top 10 offense ready to try the point after and the extra point makes it 7 nothing they wasted no time on that drive got it on their 25 and two plays later they're in the endzone about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown hauls it in inside his 20 and here he comes able to find enough room to get it out across the 25 he's brought down at the 26 the Cowboys offense will try to get something going with their first possession and there's no doubt guys we will will be focused on these two star Playmakers on the outside I'm curious to see how much man coverage we're going to see today I don't know if either of these defense is confident enough to go mono imano with these two dudes on the field they're two of the best in the nation these quarterbacks aren't looking for M coverage I can promise you that I'm like give me some help over here but we're going to see some split screens and we're going to see who had more catches who had more yards we're definitely going to be breaking that down this game coaches always harp about staying ahead of the chain when you can run with that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that the give to the back they finally get him on the ground with a big running play moves to change for the first down this running back loves running into the teeth of the defense in between the tackles he keeps a low pad level and he's got some speed they'll go to the ground how through the defender and he has a solid gain before the defense bottles him up man down on the play as the officials take a break to let him be checked out halfway there on first down it's second and five going to run it it's Gordon brought down at the 39 after a pick up of 10 it'll be a first down I think it's really important for this offense they get this guy going early in the game and they're doing a nice job of that right now remember he's the kind of running back who gets better as the game goes on that's a really good omen for this offense considering his success now early he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and that play shows you really what this defense is about it's a difficult one to attack they're really good one of the best in the country they come at you from all angles so I I'm interested to watch how do you mix up the play call always a welcome play for the defense as they get a sack at the 47 trying to set up the screen they were trying to take advantage of this pass rush but man that Defender he beat his guy so quickly he just blew the playoff I'm not positive but that first down marker might be in the next County on Third and long he'll have to turn it loose deep and he was hit just as he released it and it falls to the turf we're already in the first quarter but already you get the feeling this could be a long day for this QB he's already been sacked he gets hit right there on the incomplete throw they've got to find a way to do a better job up front of protecting this guy or it's going to be difficult to put up points Colorado has the ball back and the buffalo's hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense unloads to the wide out finds a man by himself and he was Off to the Races and he gets it to the 45 and the buffalo's racing to the line in the hurry up R re you and I were talking about this before the game how is this defense going to be able to deal with all the speed they have offensively you saw them just rip off a big play and Jesse now their head spinning just a little bit give up a big chunk play and it's right back at him hit hard as he released the ball on that first down pass and it never had a chance wide receiver coming across in motion looking to throw at Sanders quickly complete and he was fortunate not to lose lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one on Third and long try to convert through the air and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down third and long situations are really hard to convert the defense knows it's going to be pass the pass rushers are getting up field you're under pressure you don't have timing and as a result now fourth a shot toward the end zone can't hook up on the long throw and fourth down goes by the wards for this offense offense set on first down on the run it's Gordon and a nice solid pick up there before the defense wrestles him to the ground well it's plays like that that will help this offense stay in Rhythm all game long if you can have that kind of success on first down running the football it just opens up your entire Playbook moving forward he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple ISO we're trying to ISO a linebacker get downhill right now not trying to ISO a corner get wide and start to go outside a lot of times when you bounce that thing that's supposed to go in the middle those guys aren't taking the proper angles out wide they're assuming where the ball's going and that's inside good job by the defense but the offense has to know where that play is supposed to go well I think on that play you saw why this guy's such a big weapon in this offense that receiver he does such a a nice job with his routes he's patient and he's consistent and he's got good hands you don't see him put a lot of balls on the and the catch and run into the end zone pistols firing touchdown Cowboy quarterback stays clean in the pocket on that touchdown pass a little thank you is in order to the offensive line maybe find him an nil deal right feed those guys go get them to a buffet uh take care of those big ugli up front because you have that kind of pocket you should take advantage of you should be able to make big plays and he does nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 and the Colorado offense is coming back onto the field that fourth down gamble didn't pay off on the last drive and it led to giving trying to burn this defensive back and that'll be incomplete man that would have been a big hitter on first down but second Downs coming up couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again from the gun the running back looking for room they shut it down quickly but he gets two out to the 18 the buffalo's headed quickly to the line to the air it's Sanders they're bringing Heat and the quarterback is knocked down back at the 13 now remember they were stopped on fourth down earlier in the first quarter but they'll try it again he'll try to throw and pick up the first down he'll let it go down the right side and the incomplete pass they roll the dice Snake Eyes Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense boy David they would love to stack another touchdown on top of that last drive and this offense did touchdown Oklahoma State what a grab and go for the score Oklahoma State and this offense right now they are doing some damage through the air that's now their second passing touchdown they thought coming into this game they were going to have some matchups on the perimeter of the field that they could take advantage of and they've done that so far here today lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown drive not going to risk a return here he'll make the fair catch the drive starts from their own 25 yd line off the play fake on first down takes a hit as he fires can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they'd throw it again he wants to pass it on second down gets it out fast and they'll make the Stop and we are headed to the end of the first period we're through one period and these receivers are showing out big time take a look at the [Music] stats they are lined up and ready to go and get things started here in the second back on the field after the break and we'll start the quarter here on third down quarterback will audible on Third and long he's going to have to turn one loose downfield all kinds of room to throw that one in there and an explosive play has him on the move and he gets it all the way to the 48 yd line hey the defense knew coming into this one this guy was going to be a factor but they have done nothing to stop him they don't have any answers and the quarterback is snowed under that offense having to deal with the last thing you want on first down giving up a sack as they come up to the line on second down back to throw it's Anders going for it all and he's got it inside the 20 that's where they'll Mark him down but what a play there to pick up a first down and the buffalos are flying down the field trying to cap this drive with the pass makes the grab over the middle H it all the way down to the FL after making the grab and there set up the offense knocking on the door first and goal here's the snap looking to throw steps away to find some room hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver and the D denied him on second and goal wide receiver now comes in motion touch pass on the Jet Sweep that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there and the buffalos will hustle to the line touch pass on the Jet Sweep touchdown bucks and they made it to the house where they found that six points waiting on him the field position was bad the Finish was great great way to answer that poor field position poor field position no problem how about it great job by the offensive coordinator this offense getting in a good Rhythm early even backed up even in a predictable situation great job coming out after that latest answer tied things up just about set to kick it away again from inside the 15 here comes the return couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the 25 Oklahoma state has it back and the offens is on the field these two defenses have had their headp spinning here in the first half and now we might even see a little more scoring with this drive it's going back and forth this is like two heavyweights just trading blows David what does this defense got to do to get a stop here I tell you what man when you're giving up points like this and you've got no momentum you got to find somebody that can make a play to create some and listen if you're if they're scoring anyways let's be aggressive let's Blitz more let's let's make sure we're making them feel this sh and that is just an attitude run running it right up the middle right into the teeth of that [Applause] defense the give just sort of a Relentless run getting everything that was available to him and they'll Mark him down at the 40 after the productive first down play it's second and six off the play fake pressure coming and they're on him in a heartbeating down he goes when it's a playaction pass that quarterback he really has to sell the fake you can't tell his offensive lineman's getting beat right away while he's selling the fake he had no shot this is a third and long [Applause] looking for a man it's Bowman throws to the wide out and this is dropped incomplete pass he had a huge gain in his fingers and he couldn't hold on and the Cowboys will punt this one away this will be the second time they've had to kick it away no return coming he'll call for the fair catch first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning [Applause] he's looking to throw it coming after him fires it beautifully in on the Crosser he's brought down solid pickup but a little bit short of the first down here comes the offense on second down he's looking to throw caught near the sticks it's p he knew exactly where he wanted to go with that one and they've got enough for the first down here's his offense with a fresh set of down looking to move it through the air and he was drilled just as he released the pass it's incomplete the buffalo's in the hurry up quarterback changing the plays at the line on second down he's looking down field and he fired a bullet in but it's incomplete and that's where quarterbacks you know they got to be very assertive they got to believe what they see and really pull the trigger but the long they wait and they get off Rhythm or off timing a lot of times it ends up an incomplete bis they make the stop but not before E sets them up with a first and goal from the 10 clock stops momentarily for the first down they'll hurry to the line they keep attacking through the air makes the grab and he will score touchdown Colorado and I just love the execution by this offense l in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game and tell you what keep that passing game up you can keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown from inside his own 15 looking for room good job by the coverage unit to stop the Return Man Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on off defense they just didn't quite find the Rhythm on that last Drive Jesse they had to punt it I think they got to be more physical David I think up front they got to do a better job getting blocks and establishing this running game and how easy does he and the heat gets there and they get him down at the 14 yd line a timeout is called as this offense tries to find a way to get more points on the board before the half this offensive line has just been unable to keep them away from the quarterback now it's second and long what a great job by this defense setting the toone early in the first half they've been hitting the quarterback early and often make him feel uncomfortable make him feel that pressure keep getting him on the ground that's why they buil the lead looking for a crease it's Gordon and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down time out out is called and it's the defense wanting to make sure that everyone's on the same page for this big down the Cowboys will call on their punt team three and out and not much choice but to get rid of the ball on the return it's Hunter and they'll haul down the returner to start us on the next Drive first down for this offense quarterback making adjustments with his receivers he Wast no no time and comes out throwing and he'll run across the sidelines after the good game I love it I I love it first down let's be aggressive let's throw the football but how about the quarterback he does a great job in the pocket buying time up nobody opens scrambles around he off one deep down the left side and the evb making a huge play knocking it away down field sometimes as a quarterback when you're feeling the Rhythm and you're feeling yourself you just want to keep taking shots right this guy's already thrown three touchdown passes he saw a look he liked decided to Let Her Fly haven't seen a lot of balls falling complete especially deep down pass on the way it's kicked off and he's wrapped up after a solid return on the picka man I feel for this quarterback I've been there before I mean you're playing at night it's super cold it's going to be hard to execute these passes that one got away from the QB and he throws a pick one more play before the teams head to the locker rooms to the air on first [Applause] down fires to the big fell still on his feet at the 45 they make the Stop and that is the end of the first half that's going to wrap up the first half here now we join Kevin with the halftime update thanks guys a first half that saw a little bit of everything there in Boulder and we have to start this half time breakdown by addressing the play of this Elite wide receiver this is clearly a young man who once he's finished playing on Saturdays he's going to be playing on Sundays the kid has different gears he has a knack for finding gaps in the defense and I can't remember a college player with that kind of catch radius Oklahoma state has it back in the offense is on the field maybe adjustments or attitude or attitude adjustments they've got to find a way to run the ball at least some here in the second half I do think you said something that's important I I think running the football is an attitude like it starts with the offensive lineman and being physical having a nasty attitude running back same thing I think they need more of that in the second half you know and I think then if you're this defense you have an opportunity to make a statement here yeah I know you guys went in at halftime and you riled yourselves up and you told yourself that you think you can run the ball on us on this very first drive we're going to prove to you just like in the first 30 minutes you cannot and the Cowboys want to pick up the tempo [Applause] on Third and short they'll ride the running back here the Cowboys are stopped but not before getting it past the sticks yeah a nice job dialing up that short yardage situation play call there David they needed one yard and they picked up too yeah great job up front great job by the back knowing where they need to go nice having a hole you can get crew and not have to just do it all on your own as and they'll bring him to the ground after a short gain got three on first down it's second and seven looking for space it's Gordon and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no game land a third and long coming up here from the gun wants to pass he's got the tight end and they make the tackle but he has plenty for the first down and the Cowboys are moving quickly down the field well look that wasn't a touchdown but that was a massive play for this offense they needed some momentum they needed to find a rhythm in what better way and converting on third down a after burner's coming he's now up to 104 yds rushing and that should be no surprise he's been among the nation's Elite All Season what a run man I tell you what it's hard to top runs it's hard to get three four five six yards a lot of times but when you got backs like this who can make huge plays with the speed getting out in the open field can take it the distance on every play defenses are scared out of their mind looking to throw it's Bowman he looks that one in nicely and good coverage by the defense just a short Game Boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with a first and goal [Applause] they'll try to run for it he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple keep the foot on the pedal if you're on offense here you got that yardage yeah you didn't get the first down but you've set yourself up now to go for it here and keep this drive a lot it's good easy call for the [Applause] refs after putting up the field goal they're set to kick it away on the run from inside his own five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense boy they hope this next Drive is more productive after throwing a pick last time Jesse Yeah and the coaches did a good job on the sideline there just talking to the Young quarterback and making sure he's able to turn the page calm him down to go out and refocus this drive yeah and some people do that better than others but you got to show some trust in him maybe get the ground game going help around him a little bit with the system he fires to the left side and they won't be able to connect down field looking for a big time play still on the 35 yd line they'll try it again on second and 10 he's looking to throw going back to the well another another deep ball and he pulls it in inside the 15 yd line DOD down buffalo and once he found open space the band might as well start playing and he just continues to put up numbers and that number is now over 300 this guy just throws completions man the ball doesn't seem to touch the ground he's back there he's making the right reads right now he is locked into what this defense is trying to do but see what he can get done from inside his own 15 wide open in it's a foot race he will score touchdown Oklahoma State Oklahoma he is headed to the sideline with a little bounce in his step after scoring on that kick return and he should have some bounce in his step how about the effort weaving in and out covering all that space great blocking on the play and he does the rest you don't put guys back deep that can't roll and you could see when he got in the open field he rolled out here he comes from inside his own five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 and the Cado offense is coming back onto the field David they' love to do what they did last time and put this one in the end zone you ain't lying they did a great job the offense was clicking everything went well Palmer they executed and got the touchdown and they we really were in a nice Rhythm as well I'd love to see that here on the next drive too just keep doing what you're doing everything seems to be working and you seem to have this defense on their heels receiver on the Move gets the touch pass and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that one and the buffalo's moving quickly to the line he'll throw on third down he wants to go deep and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge game if he could have held on well in the first half this offense was up and down the field it seemed like everything they were dialing up was working and here we are in the third quarter and there's a very rare incompletion on their own end of the field maybe that's the play the defense needs now to spark some momentum couldn't IND his man and they'll give up the football on Downs offense getting set for first down he's going to pass catch in the middle it's Stewart got some room into into the goal line touchdown cowboy and that one will give him the lead this game must be moving so slowly for this quarterback he sees everything two or three beats ahead wait ahe I mean it's been been really really easy I better get some more hits on him I better do something to make him feel uncomfortable cuz right now it's just like oh you're going running that yeah that's easy I mean he's he's already read your mail you better change the address do something different and they'll get him on the ground as the offense comes out to start the next Drive aot of field in front of them as they open this possession from their own 20 off the play fake on first down wants to throw and that defense gets to him and down he goes at the nine they're trying to dig out of the hole on second and long from the nine wants to throw it's Sanders and that pass will be Jarred loose on second down that brings up third down I'm not positive but that first down marker might be in the next County on Third and long a check down would be the last resort that's fielded in it's C and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down marker they've yet to convert on fourth down though not for lack of trying 0 for three so far let's see if they can get it done this time he'll try to throw and pick up the first down good quickness to grab it off the balance really nice job there by both guys to throw and the catch to work that defense and get the first down now the quarterback changing the original play call got his man downfield and they finally run him out of bounds a huge gain to wrap up the third quarter and this defense will start the fourth on its heels guys that's the end of the quarter and Oklahoma state has the lead here and as we switch ends of the field let's take a quick look at the national rankings back at it open the quarter with this first down play Power football with the Run he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and the buffalos are in the hurry up second on second down just keeps firing now he's going to Glide away from pressure nothing doing downfield he'll cut his losses and throw it away it'll be third down and the quarterback gets hit again we already know this defense has gotten home to him multiple times in this game so here you are you're trailing in the game defense knows you're going to throw it they're pinning their ears back you can't feel very confident right now through the play CER certainly through the quarterback that you're going to have time to throw and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the Stop and now he's in the 400 Club 40 that's a pretty good day at the office when you're putting up over 400 yards this defense hadn't a lot of answers try to get the edge with a quick touch pass brought down to the ground but he has enough for the first down the Buffalo come to the line with a fresh set of downs fast motion from the offense quarterback flips it ahead quickly to the receiver just went with something very easy very reliable Flip It Forward let your receiver do the rest I only got to get a few yards nice job nice execution first down so now the opportunity with a touchdown to take the lead running back goes in motion but Jet Sweep pass One Step WRA Two Step squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground they've got it down to the three now it's second and goal touch pass on the Run good solid tack if they can get it into the end zone here they can really turn up the heat in this one third and goal touchdown bucks and they grab the advantage taking the lead here in the fourth man I love this offense being able to run the football late in the game when it matters and punch it in for the touchdown and more importantly take the lead and it's good and he's got the lead up to three late precise Relentless execution on on that 13pl scoring drive and they finish it off with a short Plunge Into The End Zone takes it inside his own 20 chance for great field position here gets it all the way out to the 33 before he stopped Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense after standing on the sideline and watching that long touchdown Drive they really need to put something together to give their defense a rest and that's a real thing man like you played a lot of plays you get worn out you need a chance to go decompress in the sideline get some oxygen Palmer now it's on this offense yeah this is the definition of complimentary football cuz it's a two-prong problem you've got to score points and answer but you've also got to take your time and give your defense an opportunity to get their win fights off a Defender and they'll move the chains and get it to the 47 yd line here comes the offense on first down5 back to throw it's mman fires to the wide out tosses it incomplete well on that last play you'd like to see the quarterback be a little bit more accurate and give his guy a chance to make the play that ball wasn't even close to his intended Target's body he's back to throw on second down that friends is a busted play incomplete incomplete certain moments in the game you know we just a little bit bigger here's one of the big play coming on Third and long trying to get to him makes to grab it's Gordon gets away from one finds room they make the stop but there is a flag on the field we'll see what that's all about that penalty moves the ball back 10 yds will replay the down [Applause] it's third down now and they ought to be able to get off one more play before the two-minute warning looking to throw and he needs a chunk play got it set up on the outside defense was not fooled by that scream to the back and they'll stop him short of the marker it'll be fourth down still plenty of time for this offense but this probably their final drive under two minutes to play desperate to convert and he'll throw it makes the grab and it's ready for the first down good job running that route to get past the sticks because he got nothing after the catch the offense lines up at the 41 with a first and 10 looking to throw it again getting some heat and the pressure will get there the sack down he goes in the waiting moments that could be a costly play quick Tempo no huddle offense second down clock's running he's looking to throw makes the catch and steps out of bounds but short of the first down line he would love to have picked up the first down there but saving the timeouts saving the clock much more important right now yeah that could save the game because now I can work the middle of the field still now I can still take those shots deep when I get out time outs and those start to dwindle I get very predictable so great job getting that of B and now on fourth down they will put it on the shoulders of the kicker to save them with his foot oh and he missed it no good and after the Miss they're still down by a field goal Colorado has the ball back and the Buffalo hoping to put their team in Prime position on offense three-point lead put together a great drive here Jesse you can turn it into a two- possession game let's do that let's get a touchdown on the board let's find out where our Playmakers have the best matchups let's exploit those St and it would put our defense in such a great position fourth quarter two possession lead it makes he hurs one deep down the left side and it's incomplete after taking a shot on second down they're staring at third if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of [Applause] momentum give to the back what a nice job on the ground working his way ahead for seven yds and leaving them with fourth and short they're about two yds away they'll leave the offense out there to try to get it past the marker and pick up the first they'll go with a direct snap and they are stopped on fourth down that decision will be questioned Oklahoma state has it back and the offense is on the field looking for a productive play on first down he'll start this drive firing that is just a sideline credit oh catch tow drag everything you want from the 30 yd line on first down he wants to throw unloads to the wide out got him downfield touchdown Cowboys and they've got the lead in the final minute man this game has been incredible to watch and the offense comes through late in the game takes the lead what a clutch drive by this offense now I'm looking at you defense we got the lead late in the game I need you to go put this thing on ice and win it for him it bouns through the back of the end zone it'll be a Touchback got to get everybody lined up quickly time winding away and they've got to push the ball down the field they're trying to get to it hit hard as he released the ball on that first down pass and it never had a chance no time to waste here they've got to get set in pick up chunk yardage to the air it's Sanders he wants a big play here late that one will be incomplete and we are down to 10 seconds to go they've got to move quickly here still a chance but they've got to force the ball down the field third and long and he'll try to throw for it he's going up top here late in the game he's got it inside the 15 touchdown Colarado and in the final moment theyve taking the lead man what a great job by this offense executing down the field using all of the clock being smart getting the Big Score late and I think that one should do with that and the extra point was good as they finished the drive almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown [Applause] [Applause] and it's caught from inside the 20 and here he comes and The Return Man reaches the end of the line and down he goes when we get to the off season and they start having coaching clinics they're going to roll this game tape back to show both offenses dial it up and let it run I mean that's essentially what we saw in this game it didn't matter what either offensive coordinator was calling everything seemed to work work through throwing the football in the intermediate passing game the rpos The Run game David this was just clinical offensive football and offenses have evolved so much they can do so many different things and they know how to use their Playmakers get speed and space make those big plays so that's why off [Music]
