1st quarter [Applause] kick this deep to begin the game and here's the return from inside the five stop at the 22 that's pretty solid coverage there so the Georgia BW offense has the football first here today here we go you can feel the juice in this building what a privilege C to be part of this rivalry game well there's nothing like rivalry games you know no matter what you've done all year you get your opportunity to win this game today and can change everything opening play of the drive quick throw to the left and the defense swarms not much of a gain on that completion important second down play coming up how about this defense that is called team Pursuit swarming to this wide receiver on the screen not allowing him to get his momentum up field mental Mistake by the defense 5yd penalty for the offense offense is getting set it's second down they'll run it out of the shotgun tackled behind the line it's a loss of two it's third and six a challenging spot here in the opening drive boy this defense is stepping up here early in this game really controlling the line of scrimmage just nowhere to go on this last play now we've got a third down a big opportunity for this defense to get off the field Georgia setting up for the first and 10 now oh and a flag before the snap looked like the defense jumped into the neutral zone there mental mistake for the defense that'll cost him five yards that's a first and five after that defensive penalty that's the wide receiver coming in motion now off the play fake on first down looks down field and finds a receiver who worked his way wide open b car tackled at the two a solid gain on that completion oh a huge play by this offense a good throw nice accurate throw but I think it's the run after the catch that really impresses me and early in this game you got to think they're going to continue to go back to him until this defense shows that they can slow him [Applause] down the Bulldogs pick up enough yardage for a fresh set of downs on the ground trying to power toward the goal line and he takes it in for the score touchdown dogs and Kirk how important is that to get off to a positive start and draw first blood in a rivalry game like this well Chris you know in a rivalry game there's so much emotion so be able to put a touchdown on the board first just sets the tone for a big day and they'll set up for the pat p is good so it's seven nothing kickoff team is on the field to boot this one away Fields it inside the 5 yd line solid job by the coverage team they bring him down at the 16 so the Clemson Tiger offense makes their way onto the field for their first possession it's line getting set up it's a first down play off the play fake looking to throw fires it to his Target catches made down the middle not much after the catch but it is good enough for a first [Applause] down off the play fake looking to throw the football oh it's incomplete almost a disastrous play here the opening drive it's going to bring up second down well Kirk you played in plenty of rivalry games how do they feel different from the others well Chris rivalry games and and depending on who the coach is this is a game you think about all year you know you're working out in the weight room you're doing drills in summer two days everything is focused on getting to this game and playing your very best looking to pass it's Club Nick it's a quick grab they bring him down at the 45 and a solid gain to keep this drive going first down play call coming up how aggressive will it be what a clutch play Here by this offense that convert on third down I know it's still early in this game but the fact that they've dug themselves a hole to convert there and keep this drive alive they got a new set of downs and a chance to dig into this lead quarterback keeps the football they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one critical third down play for this offense right here when the linebackers and really the back of the defense on this play diagnosed that read quickly and executed it flawlessly on the junior gets home making a sack there nothing is more gratifying for a defense to be able to sit back in Play Zone and still get pressure on the quarterback with your defensive front the Tigers will bring their punt team on the field now this will be fair caught about the 15 and the Georgia offense is back out on the field the last possession was a passing game Clinic they moved it right down for a touchdown can they keep it going quarterback still with the football and he's got it already pass the first down marker tackle made after a nice pick up on the play first down out of 10 now really a great way to get this game started for this offense you know they told us in our production meeting they thought with certain formations they'd be able to get this defense out of position and hit him for some big plays here we're seeing it to get this game started pass B is incomplete there was a lot of contact no penalty brings up third down they come to the line a long way to go for the first down but needing this crucial conversion right now this one's going to incomplete brings up fourth down the bull rocks will line up to kick it away boy this is all about the defense here nice stop here on third down but really it's about trying to get this offense behind the sticks once you get him behind the sticks you can mix up your coverages really affect the quarterback's eyes and disrupt the timing and the rhythm of what the offense is trying to do now we've got another big fourth down coming up and the back now goes in motion it's an RPO the quarterback gets out quickly well they don't pick up the first down here but if you can use the quick passing game to stay ahead of the chains it definitely helps your offense and if that defense starts to creep up and take that away that's when you can take a shot down field grab down the middle it's brown and the game just good enough for a first down new set of downs after that completion play action here on first down receiver looks it in it's complet they make the tackle but not before a solid gain on that pass offense getting set second down play here the one it from the gun brought down but it's past the line to game this comes an offense moving quickly down the field so you're a defensive coordinator trying to stop this offense your eyes are in the back field worried about that quarterback he's going to run it or throw it you got to worry about the receivers getting down field and making big plays and now by the way you got a program that has great history at the running back spot guys like think about it Travis etn and CJ Spiller The Backs they have here now on this roster boy just so many different combinations and ways to attack them now it's second down here dropping back it's Club Nick here's a throw underneath to the back brought down for a loss after the completion not what they were looking for offense been in Reverse here now a long way to go to convert this third down throws it to the right makes the catch down field tackle made after a big gain and the Tigers come to the line and the hurry up the defense has spread all over the field creating some one-on-one matchups and a quarterback makes him pay for it out of the shotgun he hands it off a tackle behind the line a loss of four getting set here's second down and the ball is handed off out of the shotgun tackle finally made that's a very solid gain but not close to first down yard gain an important third down conversion coming here in the red zone out of the gun now on thir third down and he will score touchdown Clemson oh just outstanding execution here by this offense the offensive line gives the quarterback time and the quarterback's anticipation was on point puts that ball right in the money the receiver all he had to do was turn and catch the ball for that [Music] touchdown and they get set now to try the p8 [Applause] and it's up and [Applause] good here's the kickoff team Now set to boot this one away fielded In The End Zone it's Evans he'll be sto short of the 20 yd line good job by the coverage team and the Bulldogs offense is back out on the field the last Drive they came up empty had to kick it away can they come up with something here gets the first and still running he bringing B but he reaches the 30 yd Line new set of downs for the offense first and 10 Chris a really good job here by this back to be able to find that hole and pick up the yards for this first down and Boy George has had some good backs over the years and this young man is living up to that tradition today the gain moves the ball to a 34 second down after that previous play using his legs it's etn defense makes the tackle here on the final play of the first quarter so after a competitive fun first quarter we are all even let's check out some of the stats from that first period and after a promising start we hope that both these teams will just continue with more of this action 2nd quarter brucial third down like coming up after that run looking to pick up the first down through the air quarterback finds a Target on the right it's complete and uses his speed to pick up solid yardage Georgia getting set with a first and 10 now the offense with some pre- snap eye candy off the play fake looking to throw on first down let's a fly out of the wide out oh the pass is picked off he's got some open field ahead follows the pick with a nice return before finally being brought down I'm going to give the defensive coordinator a tip of the cap here they went with dime coverage with six defensive backs which gives them a lot more speed on the field and with those defensive backs they're able to play better in space they recognize the ball step in front of it for a nice interception and the powerful Clemson offense is back out there they reach the end zone the last time out trying to do the same thing here they get the Senor to the ground but it's a nice one there fresh set of down just first and 10 dropping back it's Club Nick looks to the left and it's complete they stopped the receiver but that's a solid gain on that play the completion makes it second and short and there's the handoff they bring him down just short of the marker inches away from a first down solid gain in the running play third down now pre- snap motion from the receiver a pop pass on the Jet Sweep they make the first down brought down to the 31 the Tigers pick up enough yardage to get a fresh set of down caught near the sideline it's Williams he's brought down but there is a flag on the field let's check out this call pretty easy call for the head coach he will accept that penalty of course first down play call how aggressive will it be off an RPO the quarterback looks to his right they bring him down after a solid gain but it's still well short of the first down marker they look to throw it here on second down caught over the middle it's Williams and he's brought down but he does have enough for the first down hson now operating in the red zone that now goes in motion defense will have to adjust that's going to be incomplete a first down drop here in the middle of the field incomplete second down coming up there's the snap they'll set up and he'll Loft it to the end zone and it's caught touchdown [Applause] Tigers hold on here a second the replay booth has signal they want to take another look at this [Applause] one and that review confirms the ruling on the field was correct so the play will stand P makes it a seven-point lead being set to kick the ball off now he's going to return it from near the goal line he stopped at the 19 good job by the coverage team and the powerful Georgia offense is back out on the field they had it going on the last drive but it ended abruptly with the interception let's see what they can do here just a small gain look at at second and nine half player moved a little bit too early it's to false start false [Music] start and the head coach will decide to accept the penalty and take the yardage and the wi out goes in motion looking to throw it's B and he's hit right as he throws it incomplete well a serious challenge for this offense you don't want to be in third and long inside your own 20 how much of a risk will they take to try to pick up this first down oh it's picked off what a play and it'll be taken down but after a good return Chris I think I can hear him calling out blocks after that pick or with was at the defensive coordinator next door up here in the booth either way they were looking to score after coming up with that interception the offense if they did anything right it was keeping him out of the end zone the offense starts with a short field it's a quarterback keeper picks up two so it's second and eight from the gun he looks for an open man with the catch it's brown defense surrounds him just a short gain on that completion so here we go third down in the Red Zone the kind of play that decides football games has caught can he get in and he will score touchdown Clemson oh this is how you start to get rolling that's two touchdowns so far and the more he gets fed the more often he's going to cash [Music] in look they'll try to add to the lead now with the p with the extra point the lead is 14 now the kickoff team is out on the [Applause] field Fields it just outside the goal line he's tackled at the 21 that's where the drive will start and the Georgia offense is back out on the field the last possession ended in an interception let's see if they continue to trust this quarterback in the passing game goes backwards losing three yards there short loss on the play sets up second and long from the 18 off the play fake he'll look to throw it that's P it's love it tackle made at the 37 that's a solid game how aggressive will they be on this first down play really good route here by the receiver but I love the quarterback's ability to look off that safety and make that throw and that's part of the qu they've got him defense comes up with a sack I like the call here but you can't run long developing playaction passes like that if the offensive line is not going to give the quarterback time to throw first down sack pushes the ball back second down coming up on the run it's etn they bring down it's a very solid game but still well short of the first down now the offense facing a third and long from their own 41 motion now from the tight end play action fake looking to throw H just gives up on the play throws it away and now it's Fourth Down the dogs will send the punt team onto the field looking to kick it away for the second time and they've got the returner Corral okay the Clemson offense heads back out on the field they've really built momentum in this game been hard to stop and the defense make some adjustments come up with the stop here keep it on the ground there's the handoff well the defense coordinator this week all week telling us about Gap Integrity not giving this running back any creases at all really sound defense on that play fires it to the wide out and it's complet downfield they bring him down but that's a good play movs the ball to the 39 first down and 10 that'll put him over 150 yards today Kirk he is putting on a show on this oh that one's picked off not much of a return but the important thing is the interception sets the offense up at the 45 well the quarterback ends up being a tad aggressive and ends up paying for it with a pck I get that that might be part of his playing style but there's a difference between being aggressive and being careless and the Bulldogs offense is back out on the field last Drive stall they were forced to punt it away let's see what they can come up with this time hand off here from the shotgun The Tackle is made after a four yd gain so second and six and they'll keep it on the ground running back has a hand off defense able to stop the ball carrier there third down play for this offense and remember the last time these teams met it came right down to the wire well Chris there's so many great rivalry games that we all look for to every single year but with these two teams it just always seems to be a tight matchup Georgia setting up for the first and 10 now they've got him to back to the defense well they're making this offensive line really think and communicate bringing different blitzes this time the outside linebacker gets to the quarterback and comes up with a big sack for the D and he throws his third interception of the day he goes down quickly but that's a takeaway for this defense important play boy just a drive killer right there Chris and he didn't seem to throw that ball with much confidence just put it up for grabs and the defense comes down one and the powerful Clemson offense is back out there this offense has been clicking so far but they get aggressive go for more before halftime and it's incomplete the defender arrive the same time as the football and now it's second down dropping back it's Club Nick receiver makes the catch he stopped at the 22 that's important Breathing Room on this drive first down here for this offense here's the snap quarterback looking to throw that one Falls incomplete good defensive play brings up second down back to throw again and he's got it he's tackled quickly but the yardage is good enough for the first down a new set of downs after that completion first down looking to throw the football physical defending that one Falls incomplete brings up second down and he drops back in the gun intercepted picked off by the defense big takeaway now looking for a big return takes the pick to the end zone touchdown bulldogs and a pick six eight Monster play by this defense here that Defender showed a lot of athletic ability there with the ball in his hands I wouldn't be surprised if the head coach watching that thought about maybe giving in some reps as a returner after that touchdown kicking team out for the p D TR the extra point is good down by touchdown 214 the kickoff team on the field now as a get set to send this one [Music] away bringing it out it's Haynes he's brought down at the 12 that's po field position to start the drive okay the Clemson offense heads back out on of the field they have got to bounce back on possession after throwing a pick six last time out here boy this offensive line is so caught up and making sure that they're accounting for the defens of line nobody sees the inside linebacker he comes home on a blitz and gets the sack second and long for this offense after the sack hand off to the left the junior able to bring him down quickly the timeout is called to talk strategy close game here as we approach halftime so a tricky situation here third and very long inside your own 20 how much of a risk do you take you know this defense could be very aggressive at this moment from the pocket deliver over the middle breaks into the clear it's a Sprint pass the 20 continues to fight for yards The Tackle is made the offense is now set up with the first and goal from the eight the offense will take their first time out of the half the talk strategy here on first down it's play action and the sack is made that's a nice play there by the sophomore the offense will Now quickly spend a timeout pass protection a serious issue another sack makes it second and long scanning the field it's Club Nick again he's just trapped and sacked in the pocket so it's third down but out comes the field goal unit they'll try to add three points before half time now the offense will spend the time out here want to come up with a perfect call on this important play coming up so just before halftime here out comes the field goal unit this one is right through and those three points will finish off the first half and it take us to halftime [Music] M's going to wrap up the first half here let's kick it now to Kevin Connors with our halftime update fellas what an environment there today all the animosity and Flatout hatred that comes with a good oldfashioned rivalry game on display in that first half these two defenses have really been up to the task so far and it's hard to ignore how each of these two secondaries have impacted things they've stayed true to their assignments covering each receiver like a blanket and you know what else they've done they've wrapped up and tackled with that let's throw it back to the guys to see how this rivalry matchup plays out dogs will kick this away to 3rd quarter get the second half going and he takes this from inside the five and the returner will be brought down and the powerful Clemson offense is back out there trying to build in a positive first half for this offense to see if they can stretch the lead there's some urgency on the part of the defense to stop the bleeding here what's the play call here on second down for this [Applause] offense play action fake looking to throw down he goes a sack what great chop here by this defensive lineman from Georgia using his hands and his speed to close in on the quarterback and come up with his sack and man they've had some great ones over the years Chris as you know starting with our guy David Pollock who had as good a career in his time in Athens as anybody who's ever put on that uniform Richard Seymour a brilliant career with the Patriots but it all started in Athens Jaylen Carter just an enforcer up front and I even throw in Gino Atkins who had a great career in the interior to that Georgia defensive line defense stops him short of the markers now it's fourth down and the Tigers will line up to boot it away running comes for his second punt of the game he'll call for the fair catch here and the powerful Georgia offense is back out on the field this drive is important last one ended in an interception let's see if they can get it going here pre- snap motion from the offense off the play fake on first down the sure hands it's B out not much after the catch but it is good enough for a first down a new set of downs after that completion just a really good ball here to be able to pick up this first down for the Georgia offense and you know that being able to have a balanced attack so important in modern college football and Georgia does that as well as anybody from the shotgun it's a handoff he stopped but he gets a first down dogs come to the line to start of fresh set it down count C quickly they make the tackle but that pass creates a solid game Georgia now operating in the Red Zone well this is what coaches love to see a quarterback with the ability to read the defense properly and then just get it to the open man sometimes it sounds simple but it's tough to execute this time we have good recognition by the quarterback then he gets it down to the tied in you can see what he can do after the catch keep it on the ground on first and goal the S were able to bring him down quickly coming up second down and goal they'll try to power it in right up the middle makes it across the goal line touch down Georgia that's a crucial response for this offense but still plenty of work to do here in the third quarter I love that they're still fighting and competing you can tell they've made some adjustments at half and try to get them back into this game that score is a great start here's the point after attempt BC is good they still Trail though kickoff team on the field getting set now and it's fielded returner trying to create a big play here and the returner brought down by that coverage team okay the Clemson offense heads back out on of the field they're looking to build on the lead they had to punt the football in their last possession they start the drive with a quick throw to the left side he's brought down but they went back work after the completion good work by the defense so behind the six second and long from their 14 looks to the left for a quick throw the QB throws his third pick of the day going the other way can they catch him and he steps out of bounds but a crucial takeaway great play by this defense this defense is doing an outstanding job AB baiting this quarterback into throwing the ball into coverage that's their third interception now in the game [Applause] and here comes the offense back out on the field now looking down field it's back and the quarterback finds the tight end for the completion but a huge Collision blow delivered there by the linebacker pass caught second down now and the quarterback looking to make a play through the air SS with Qui throw they've got it but that completion good enough for first down yardage a new set of downs after that completion defense kind of lost the running back here makes a nice catch and gets the first down in the process touchdown dogs fought all the way back to take the lead well they began with great field position and that didn't take long at all well that's how you take advantage of an opportunity your defense sets you up in great field position you're not looking for field goal you're looking for a touchdown give the credit to this offense for being aggressive and punching it in they try to add the lead now with the p8 the extra point makes at a four-point game kickoff teams come on the field now to send this one [Applause] away so it'll be a Touchback B spotted at the 25 and the powerful Crimson offense is back out there the last possession ended in an interception let's see if they continue to trust this quarterback in the passing game you know in the era that we live in right now everybody wants to spread the field around try to create space try to create oneon-one matchups and the defense has countered over the years by trying to play out wide but here's a great example of the defense has the ability to play wide but still be solid at the line of scrimmage not give up big run plays a quick throw out left complete he's brought down but not before he gets first down yardage well that's exactly how you Dice up for Zone coverage nice throw downfield here on third down and a really good route to give the quarterback a chance to make that play he'll be taken down but he does have first down yardage and with that completion right there this quarterback now has gone over three a sack in the play could not ES escape the pass rush if I'm on this offensive line now I would not want to look at the game film after their performance today it's almost like they've been Moon walking backwards the entire game getting pushed all around by this defensive front Chris they've already given up six sacks alone in this game second down now after the sack looking to throw it's Club Nick catch play on the out route and they bring him down that's a very solid gain but still well short of the marker third down play looking for a fresh set of downs with that completion right there this quarterback now has gone over 300 yd in this game what a day the Tigers will line up to pun it away hey the good news is here Chris they're still in field goal range and they didn't cost themselves any points but they could have more they got to be thinking about going for this on fourth and short and the Georgia offense is back out on the field great possession last time they punched it into the end zone can the defense come up with a stop this time that's incomplete even on a first down pass attempt he felt heavy pressure so second down after the incompletion from the shotgun he's probing the secondary makes a quick grab but here the defense decided to sit back in Play Zone and that front didn't do a good job of pressuring the quarterback he had the time to make the throw and he put it on target they make the tackle there but a penalty marker is on the field let's see what that's about offside defense what I always love to see on these offsides call is when they're always pointing at each other he did it I didn't do it put it on him we know this time it's on the defense they're going to make the right call and the Run moves the ball up to the 33 second down after that run on the previous play out of the shotgun he'll hand it off sop with a strong tackle there it's third down after that run here's the snap looking to throw here pulls it in it's young he make the stop but not before a solid gain that time Georgia getting set with a first and 10 now that's a great feeling when your quarterback can make a throw and keep the drive alive not as good as a touchdown but it's a lot better than having to trot over to the sideline waiting for your turn to get into chance keeping it on the ground here and they'll stop him after a fairly minimal pickup office get set up here it's third down well Kirk it's Georgia on top so far we've reached the end of time is running out to cut into the lead let's take a look at the game sets before we move on we're set now for the fourth quar who is going to make the crucial plays to 4th quarter take home this W offense moving receivers around now before the snap looking for his big tight end he's got an open man downfield and it's caught the tackle is made but there's a flag on the field see what that's about that's an easy call for the officials cannot grab the face mask like that fresh set of downs for the offense first down they'll test the right side here and you'll maybe get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that second down play coming up for this offense trying to flex the ground game here running back takes the hand off defensive backs up at the line showing press and they convert here on third down in the Red Zone this is a four-point type of play touchdown or field goal and the play goes nowhere picked up about a yard but it'll be four down looks like the coach decides to go for three points here here comes the field goal team he knocks this one right through oh Chris it's a nice kick here to polish off that drive with at least three points on the board They Come Away with three points on the drive and now the kickoff team will Boot It Away return starts from inside the five he'll be tackled at the 18 that's good coverage there okay the Clemson offense heads back out onto the field they came up empty in the last position forced to pun it away and they begin to click now they'll tackle him right at the 25 yd line Second down play coming up fakes the hand off here looking to throw it makes a quick catch B carrier in space now that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the stick more than enough for a first down well they love going to this guy in the slot don't they what a mismatch inside he reels in another one this guy's automatic quick throw to his receiver and it's incomplete the defender to arrive the same time as the football and now it's second down tight end goes in motion before the snap looking to pass it's Club Nick running back grabs it on the screen he'll actually lose yardage after the catch the defense all over him that time interesting call here Chris with this green pass in a fourth quarter late in the game I think they're expecting the defense to get up field on the pass rush give the defense all the credit recognizing it almost really anticipating that this screen was coming and then rallying to the ball and at Fourth Down they'll punt it away here the pump will bounce him head out of bounds that's right near the goal line perfect execution and the the Bulldogs offense is back out on the field kept out of the end zone last time had to settle for a short field goal can they improve upon that here hey I can understand the play call here backed up deep in your own territory working with the lead in the fourth quarter but you got to be careful of being too conservative cuz this defense right now they're trying to get the football back and they're selling out against this run game and they'll stop him after a short game how aggressive is this play call backed up here on third down dropping back he going to throw for the first down grab down the middle it's etn there's the tackle but first down yardage a new set of downs after that completion oh that one really hurts for this defense they get these guys to third down a chance to maybe get them off the field and they give up a first down late in the game a clock will continue to roll quarterback wants to throw it on second down the sh hands it's Robinson tackle made after the completion crucial third down play coming up chis that's another nice pick up through the air I I thought they might be really just out to run the football here with the lead but instead they're electing to throw the football different routes quarterbacks in Rhythm really it's almost an extension of their passing game off the play fake looking to throw pressure pressure is coming and he'll be brought down they continue to March toward a game time touchdown it's first and 10 takes the hand off looking to throw fires it to the wide out he pulls it in for a big game they stop him at the four but it sets up this offense with a first and goal anytime you have a sudden change like this Chris I'd love to see the idea of this quick strike the defense barely really has a chance to get established and get said next thing you know they're dealing with an offense that's coming right at them trying to put points on the board another hand off to him on second and goal they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one emergency here got to cut into this lead it's third down and goal clear movement before the snap it'll be a false start false [Music] start pretty easy call for the head coach he will accept that penalty of course ball spotted at the nine it's third and goal back to throw it's Club Nick catch Made In The End Zone touchdown Tigers boy what a job by the offensive coordinator going to that five wide receiver set creating the one-on-one matchups finding the most favorable matchup and then going to that receiver for the score [Music] now the lineup to kick the extra point and F Pat gives us a tie ball game here in the final quarter here's the kickoff team let's see if they give the returner opportunity to bring this back returner looking to make a play here covered seem able to bring him down and the powerful Georgia offense is back out on the field gives it to the back breaks a tackle on the play and makes a decent gain offense getting set up here's second down quarterback will throw it off the one pass option but down at the 33 that's good enough to move the sticks the guys up front lined up it's first [Applause] down tight end goes in motion grab behind the line it's Young and the defense Smothers him for No Gain here's the second down play but this is exactly what you want to see from the defense yeah you give up the catch but you're right there to be able to stop this receiver from making any yards after the catch important play right here close game fourth quarter third and long looking to throw yet again let's It Go quickly oh it's intercepted a critical late mistake here and that's a solid return after the interception oh Chris you're in the fourth quarter it's a tie game and you throw an interception oh my goodness I know it's obvious but you just got to take care of the football it's that simple now their opportunity to the lead is lost and everything is flipped in the other [Applause] direction and the powerful Clemson offense is back out there quarterback appears to be changing the play it's a quick grab to get him down quickly not much of a gain on that completion a g makes a second and [Applause] medium off play action he's looking to throw finds that big tight end for a short pass they bring him down but that's a solid gain on the play and the clar stops now for the two minute warning as we head into the dramatic finish of this stop it it's fourth down now and now the defense will call a timeout here there's something they didn't like about that look and they'll make an adjustment before this important play and it's good right down the middle and they claim the lead here in the final couple minutes boy there's nothing more impressive to me that a kicker that can come through in the clutch gives them the lead here in the fourth quarter but there's still time left for a final drive so their defense will have to step [Music] up following the field goal the kickoff team is out there now he'll return it from inside the five and he stopped at the 20 triying to make something happen that's good coverage there and the Georgia offense is back out on the field so it's going to come down to this C can this offense the 31 and the off defense wisely spikes the ball here to stop the clock important second down play coming up from the shotgun now here's an inside give goes backwards losing three yds there the clock is still running I have to hurry up here but it's a crucial third down and the quarterback drops back looking for an open man and he pulls in the catch touchdown bulldogs and will claim the second half lead great job here by this quarterback on this read I thought he might try to get the ball to the receivers instead he sees the match up that he wants finds that big tight end and they get the go-ahead score here late in the game so they try to add to the lead now with the pat P up and good the lead is four here in the final quarter so after taking the lead they'll kick it off here and hope the defense can hold [Music] on and here's the return from inside the five the returner loses the football deep in their own territory that is an incredible job by this kickoff coverage team you don't seen many turnovers on kickoffs but they just give Ed their offense with a bonus possession they've got him but not before a solid gain on the ground there and the defense will spend a time out here stop on the clock with 21 seconds remaining so here comes second down now every play important down here in the Red Zone the senior able to make the stop after a short game and it's the defense who stops the clock now with 17 seconds remaining this is crucial def need to stop on third down trying to force a field goal now run a draw play and it's the defense stopping the clock now with 14 seconds remaining so on fourth down it's an all important field goal to hold your breath here the kick is good he knocked it right down the middle Chris they get the three points but looking back at him worth an inches pretty conservative call there really thought they would have gone for it after the pressure field goal they'll kick it away the offense has a lot of work to do and not much time to do it Fields it inside the 5yd line he'll be tackled at the 18 that's good coverage there okay the Clemson offense heads back out onto the field so here we go time for a couple of plays they try to get it closer before taking a shot at the end zone bringing pressure quarterback takes off now looking to scramble and he will be stuffed for no game well no way to really spin it this is not the result they were looking for and you know how fans are some are going to be panicking others are going to be writing this team off but should they I don't think they should this is a very good football team who happen to lose to a good opponent there is plenty of football left just give your players in early next week look at the film make some tweaks and I think they're going to be fine
