zone the offense set for a first down play Let's go looking for a physical attack from the gun at the 35 he's loose he's one out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down and I don't care if I get it by two by 20 by 30 by 40 I I just I just want to get the first down understanding the situation understanding where the sticks are doesn't have to be sexy but I got to make sure I get to that stick get to the first down Mark they're going to ride this running back he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three well the offense is trying to go counter but the defense blows it up and they do it by getting penetration up the middle setting up the tackle for wants to throw it's rising looking to the big tight end he makes a catch they'll get him down but not before he crosses the 50 he's down to the 49 and a really good job by the quarterback being very decisive he saw his match up he went forward contacted it got the positive game I would say he's going to find that guy a few more times here's the give off the left side finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down I think it's really important for this offense they get this guy going early in the game and they're doing a nice job of that right now remember he's the kind of running back who gets better as the game goes on that's a really good omen for this offense considering his success now early a little screen to the running back the stop the start the Juke everything in the back as he gets to the 29 there's a lot of different ways this offense can attack and throwing the ball one of them is getting the running back going and the screen is a great way to get him lathered up and get the defense starting to think about him a little bit more now and it'll be incomplete this defense is physical and pass deep the big tight end tries to make a catch and you can tell extends for the ball but great job by the defender getting in there making the hit dislodging the football out as the same time as he's going to catch it and the big tight end couldn't hold on to him that's caught it's Johnson and they gave him no chance to get loose and they force a fourth down a nice job of awareness on defense there on that third down you know you're expecting the offense to throw the football but it's not just going to be receivers or tight ends you got to worry about you got to keep your eye on where that running back is they knew exactly where he would be and they were able to make the tackle setting up for it he'll try to throw and pick up the first down makes the catch he's got him out makes the easy catch and weaves his way into the end zone for a touchdown I love the aggressive nature and the play calling there the opening drive of the game you have an opportunity on fourth down obviously to just kick a field goal Take the Lead early as estabish some momentum instead they get aggressive they go for it and not just get it they score a touchdown and he's got the extra point and it's seven nothing to start this one to away well executed eight play 75 yd drive and they cap things off with a scoring toss from 27 yds out looking for daylight from inside his 20 strikes to blow he's going to get loose he'll take it to the house touch down wild caps they'll try to attack one more on their score smashes it through from the pat you can just feel the energy that play gave the entire team 81 yards he took it to the house after that latest answer tied things up just about set to kick it away again he'll start the return inside his SP really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 and we'll see the offense make its way onto the field here hoping for a successful drive he Wast no time and comes out throwing oh picked off bringing it back and he is taking it all the way back touchdown wild cats this D gave them exactly what they needed not only with a stop but with a touchdown and finding ways to impact the game early in the game just make impact plays right the defense wants to create sacks create turnovers great job creating the turnover and getting points off of it he'll bring it back from inside to spot he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 first down here for the [Applause] offense wasting no time throwing on this drive makes a catch and knock down listen running backs are not just running backs anymore you're going to be a wide receiver in today's football and a great job sneaking out of Back Field getting the football letting them get some positive yardage to throw it's gyzy makes the grab they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down quarterbacks love the short passing game early in games because it really helps them get into a rhythm so a nice job by the offensive coordinator giving his quarterback an easy throw something he can see and something that he knows they'll try to pick up the first through the air grabbed over the middle it's concepion and oh he was Off to the Races after the catch and they finally drag him [Applause] down back at it to open the quarter with this first down play he's looking to throw it that's caught it's neighbors they make the stop trying to pick up just a little bit at a time to get to that first down [Applause] Mark the Arial assault continues quick completion on the out and the defense settled in to stop that one for a short gain nice job there good timing between the QB and the wide receiver executing that out route hey completion but not quite enough for the first down third down coming for this offense they'll try to run for it he's got first down yardage as they move it to the 44 that is how it's done on third down as should no doubt about it an easy hole to get through and clearly get the first down if you really want to simplify football the low man wins that time the offense got the better of the D easily pick that up a solid pick up there before the defense is able to make the stop I know that's not a huge game but those run plays add up they make you tackle the back every single play physically you have to get some guy on the ground it takes its toll throughout a fourth quarter game now on second down 29 looking downfield it's rising quickly complete and this one will be stopped for No Gain yeah nice job by the defense that's what you're supposed to do as soon as they catch the football you with that yards after the catch and he went nowhere after the catch nice job by the Deep snap from the gun on third down trying to get to him that pass not close as he got thrilled trying to deliver it and it'll bring up fourth down he'll try to throw and pick up the first down complete out of the back field really nice job there by both guys the throw and the catch to work that defense and get the first down really good job there don't force anything take your time and he finds his man for the first down yeah and I think really good job by seeing the defense understand that they're dropping back they're taking away most things all right get the ball to my running back he can make plays after he catches it nice job by the quarterback seeing the situation and where to go with the football and there you go you see you don't have to throw bombs to get big plays in the passing game just screen it to your running back as soon as he catches it he gets up field and how about the downfield blocking by these linemen and the wide receivers as they rip off that explosive ball going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down they'll leave it with him showed off just about every move in the book except the forward move stopped for a short gain third boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with a first and goal off play action C in the back field it's miles he ended up going backwards on the play and they will not convert that third down they hoped to get him in space create Running Room and there just wasn't anything there yeah I love the third down aggressive iny face defense not giving you any room to run down the field great job by the defense they saw the throw the Quick Pass reacted to it got him on the ground for a loss it's snagged In The End Zone touchdown yeah and the passing game comes through man and we need more of that in the second half an extra point away from tying this football game we Trail a little bit in the first half stayed calm but this passing game can continue to heat up look out in the second half and they pick up the extra point kicker knocked it right down the middle they got the late touchdown on the board now about about to kick it away and hoping the defense can keep them from answering hauls it in inside his 20 and here he comes he's brought down after a good return gets it out to the 31 the first line gets set first down receivers telling the quarterback what they see they'll come out on this drive and let it rip coming after him and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete quarterbacks talk about it all the time they love the clean pocket where they can step up throw the football that is not what they had nice job by the defense beating the offensive line disrupting the timing and getting a nice clean hit on the quarterback to the air it's Howard that one comes out hot down the right side fires the pass intercepted taking it the other way he steps out of bounds but not only does he get the ball back what a return to set up his offense what a nice catch by the defensive back listen a lot of times you see DBS get in position to make plays but there's a reason they play DB and not wide receiver great job finishing the interception catching the ball making a big [Applause] thr so they get the late field goal right before the half and not much time after this kickoff for an [Music] answer oh look at Mr H taking the squiver inside the 30 finally pushed Out of Bounds at the 45 and what good field position after that return got things teed up and just about ready to go here in the second half from inside the 15 here comes the return there he goes open it up he will score touchdown Arizona getting set for the point after and the extra point is good and it's a fourpoint lead sometimes you hear people wanting to take kickoffs out of the game now when you get returns like that 86 yds for the touchdown here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic that they get him on the ground at the 20 out comes the offense as they get set to take over lasso lasso back to throw it's rising he's got the back in the middle and they finally haul him down but not before the good catch and run really nice job by the running back setting up that angle rounde he's making it look like he's running to the flat and then he puts his foot in the ground Cuts back across the defender's face makes himself an easy target for the quarterback looking to move it through the air grabbed behind the line it's Johnson and that defense doesn't allow a cut back and they get him out of bounds after a short gain this defense is going to have to be careful not only do they have to worry about this guy running the football but they've got to keep their eye on him when he runs routes too he is a versatile back on second down they'll take to the air and he really needed to hold on to that one but it was not loose and third down is coming not many receivers like to get hit they just don't okay they're primon that's what they are that's who they are nice job by the defender you could tell he was catching the football he was going to put a hit on him to make sure he had to think about something later and you could see the ball pop out and fall to the [Applause] ground the offense stays on the field maybe they'll try to make the defense jump they also might try to run it ahead for one yard DB's lock up tight on the receivers trying to show their strength with the run on fourth down they stop him short of the marker and they'll turn it over on down I like it this defense plays aggressive on Fourth and sure and they are rewarded figured they would run the football they did nice job getting some penetration and stop that fourth down play quarterback touch pass on the Jet Sweep and he's able to find a little bit of Running Room before they get him down coaches always harp about staying ahead of the chains and when you can run with that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that finally pulled down but not before moving the change for a first down I love when players understand situations and they understand where the first down marker is and they understand where I got to get to a lot of people you'll see run north south and try to bounce out wide and make big plays sometimes it's not about making big plays sometimes it's about getting that first down to make sure I get an extra set of downs instead of trying to make those big [Applause] touchdown picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down wide receiver now comes in motion touch pass on the Rock the defense wouldn't let him lose there and it was a completion but they lost yardage that's a great job by the defense understanding exactly the situation understanding to stay home play sound no matter who gets the football we're going to run to the football hard we're going to cage the football be discipline nice job by the defense he took a hit as he threw it and couldn't deliver the football it's incomplete and fourth Downs coming looking to convert Arizona comes to the line on fourth down they'll throw for it they're bringing heat it as he throws and this will fall incomplete and they'll turn it over on Downs well great defense on that one they were ready for pass they forced the incompletion they're coming off the field that's a big win for this defense now this offense is back on the field hand off to the lone back good job running t him behind his pads as he gets up to the 38 yd line and it's just simple simple first down run showing your physicality setting your offense up in a good spot as they get set to snap at time winding down here in the [Applause] quarter the hand off to Johnson that play just never had a chance they knock him down for a loss of five a third down play to get the quarter started looking for a man it's ryy going to try to pop one on the screen not a whole lot of room there on that screen pass as it just never developed they allowed the completion but this defense was swarming to keep them away from that first down line yeah and you allow completions in those third down situations underneath the sticks and you come up and rally and everybody flies to the football that's great execution by this defense trying to pick up the first out of the back field and they'll finally get him down after eight terrific pick up well there's the advantage of having versatility at the running back position on fourth down everybody in the stadium is expecting if you throw it it's probably going to a receiver at tight end but because of his ability to catch the football he makes a huge play for this offense who keeps the drive alive they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one lost one on that last one it's second and [Applause] 11 he's looking to throw snagged in the middle it's Johnson at the 35 he's got M ripping through the defense and getting it all the way down to the 24 yd line [Applause] move the change with that completion now on first down power football with the Run they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one well there's a statement by the defense defensive line first down play expecting run and they just dominated up front beat their one-on ones and force a tackle for a loss this drive facing a little adversity on second and 11 dropping back it's ryy and he was hit just as he was releasing the pass and it falls to the ground incomplete no mystery here third in California late in the game defense knows they're going to throw it so they're going to have a lot of guys back in zone coverage these guys up front are going to be pinning their ears back quarterback better have the clock going off in his head on Third and long he's going to have to throw for it and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down and if you're the defense right now you've given up some yards on this drive but you've got a possession lead you just need one more stop after that last incompletion setting up fourth down do you Blitz do you try to speed up the QB let's find out and watch throws to the wide out and it's picked off at the goal line that's one way to make a stop and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception and that is a back break up it's fourth down though listen you got to throw the football you got to try to make a play but the defense came up big in a big moment they'll keep it on the ground trying to milk the clock and ball security at this point is at of premium for this offense you're backed up in your own end you've got the lead so you want to be able to run the football and stay on the field bleed the clock but you know the defense is going to be ripping away at it right they're going to be trying to get hats to the football and forcing a fum and he can't get it off taken down what a huge play this late in the game defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense quarterback checking the play the give and he's looking for room behind the left tackle he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible the wild cats will have to send out the punt team the punters have had the day off up to this point first one of the game and the punt team able to smack him to the ground this quarterback has to stay calm cool and collected and drive his team down for a score late in the fourth he'll pitch it and he doesn't find much Running Room a short gain on the play I never know if it's grammatically correct to say a team is being out physical you hear it a lot in football though that's happening in this game they are just not getting the push they need all game long up front to have any success when they decide to run it he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three quick timeout call by the offense after the play trying to preserve every minute possible they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one to the air it's rising unloads to the wide out and they fail to hook up on third down after that incompletion there is so much pressure now on this quarterback to come up with a big play they need to score a touchdown they need to keep this drive alive to have any shot at winning this game but it all comes down to this play right here it's a one-or game late and they've got to go for it on fourth down desperate to convert and he'll throw it oh he wants it all and he grabs it at the 15 number much of a fourth down gamble when it's that much of a sure thing and easy conversion for this offense how about that one fourth and forever and he just turned one loose and fired it for the first down man does that sting defensively you get him in the perfect situ thrown into the end zone he's got it he's got it for the score and the lead and that might be the gamer and how about this QB coming up clutch in a big moment moment got to have it dreamed about it to your whole life he puts the ball on the money they make the catch Take the Lead the seconds remaining on the CL oh and it hits the left upright no good a very efficient five play scoring drive and they finish it up with a 15yd scoring toss and he takes this from inside the five he only needs a sliver of daylight he's got an alley and there he goes they were lucky to get him out of bounds what a return as he almost took it for the touchdown so now we'll line up for one of the biggest kicks of this game and this will be for the win nerves of Steel right down the boulevard on the game winning Chip Shot guys that one was a ton of fun to call and the players a lot of games sort of wash away in the memory bank not that one that will be an indelible Mark in their memories I agree ree you know I think back to my career at Florida and just the games that stand out the most were always the ones that went down to the wire whether we lost or whether we won for this team this is going to be a good memory moving for David because of how well they played did you lose more of those or win more of those I'm just asking for friend Tennessee what happened hey uh
