really great but also kudos to real madrid because that was a very very unexpected result they lost three to one in the in the uh you know regular time then they they they won in the extra time but really really great great job by the uh spanish teams this season uh really amazing job yeah and listen real madrid they've done it the hard way paco psg the current champions chelsea and now they're gonna have to go and beat the favorites man city this is at home against eintracht i mean it's a third minute with a penalty okay so that's like europa league stuff but uh yeah you asked me about real madrid and definitely there was a point where it seemed that it was all over for them when chelsea scored the third one and var you know at that crucial moment just landed there the mighty hand for real madrid which is also a classic in europe but yeah later in the second half they improved and also in the in the extra time obviously over chelsea with that two three they lost at home but they move on to the next round and obviously as you said flash um i think it's the most the trickiest part in the last few seasons at least the seasons where they won the champions league for real madrid because uh it had usually been a cakewalk for them very lucky in some of the draws but this season definitely you can say that they are earning the uh the work if they ultimately win it they are working hardly to beat some of the best teams in the continent and they are just only two uh games away from the the final obviously exactly and we'll have no more updates from the uh the camp nou rotations but betis for example uh they are facing their next round of games real sociedad this weekend midweek they're facing lc which is okay not the the most uh difficult uh opposition and next saturday valencia in the copa del rey fine okay if you win the copa ray final you have uh automatically uh a europa league spot for next season okay but if we speak to betis fans they will sure ask their team to go for it and try to squeeze into that fourth spot because sevilla are in for it villarreal are in for it real sort of betis four teams for only one place so i think they have to go like with all their cats just the whole deck into this game and in that sense we also have also playing at home very very strong this season especially at the beginning of the first quarter of the season and also with most other players even though there are a couple of injuries most of the players fit and especially only one game a week overall it's going to be uh i believe a game with a few goals quite a few goals i'd say um but as you said 50 50 because it's going to be very tough even though going for a high scoring draw could be the way to go so i don't know pavlos which kind of stats he has but i think it's going to be more or less this way pablos but minus 130 double chance i couldn't trust sochi dad to score twice at plus 105. it's just one of those i think if the t score they're going to get something out of the game it looks very very tight but i'm not brave enough to go with the under two and a half at minus 110. i think batiste double chance of minus 130 is probably the only way i could go yeah and how can you go with the under i mean when you look at of course we also see those numbers uh of course we've been talking about them all season uh they have the third best defense uh uh they have the the best home defense with six considered goals but uh something happens uh when they face betis i mean betis they destroyed them in a couple of matches already this season uh by four to nil in both matches both at home and away and when you look at the um the history between these these two sides and something that i take very much into consideration not in all matchups but in most of them uh nine uh eight of the last nine matches had over two and a half goals and easily and when you look at matches uh even at this venue uh these two sides have a lot of two-two draws three three draws four four draws i mean there's something going on whenever these two sides meet against each other and that produces a lot a lot of goals maybe that is you know they know how to unlock this reality that associated um defense so well i i i have to repeat that they've scored eight goals in two matches and they have considered none uh so far in the season so um uh but this you know of course they do have a very heavy schedule and uh they're in danger of i i keep saying that they're in danger of being left empty-handed after this season finishes because if they lose the koppa final against valencia and if they lose a couple of matches they can easily find themselves outside the top six spots and they're going to be left with nothing after a really really solid season so right now uh they're sitting two points above uh real sociedad in the standings so i believe that they'll fight uh you know very hard to keep at least a draw they don't even need the win here of course a win could potentially take them up a spot and inside the champions league spots but i think the best thing that they'll try to do here is to keep reality that at bay uh at least the point is enough to do that uh because you know betis they don't have a favorable schedule to finish the season so they need all the points they can get and they should do it now they need at least a draw here that's why i like um you know um the double chance i also see a lot of goals here you know i i love the the history between these two sides uh in this venue or uh in any venue there's a lot of goals being scored a lot of both things to score and over two and a half goals combos so yeah i see a lot of calls and um bet is not losing hey i look but see they've got to make sure they defend deep because sasha dad are one of them sides they catch you if you come up too high they've got the pace to get in behind you they've got the players that will split you with them passes so yeah i'll i listen but i've left the game alone so really i'm definitely talking talking a hot wind because i just don't can't split them i mean the draw at plus 250 is normally where i would fall but the way the batiste had been playing in the last sort of eight ten games i couldn't go anywhere near them neither um okay let's have a little look at the official picks of game number one which was sasha dead versus batista and it's over two and a half goals at minus one ten he's double dipped as pavlos has been on a great run batista plus 0.5 as well so that's batiste double chance at minus 130 and for paco it's both him to score over two and a half goals at plus 1 30. he doesn't care who wins but if he's in if he's a team player he'd be cheering on batiste to win 2-1 3-2 or even listen to two gets the job done as well okay let's uh let's move on to game number two because i was quite surprised Alaves vs Rayo Vallecano that this game even got mentioned because it's alavez versus rayo vallacano the first thing that springs off is the under over two over two goals is at minus 135 under two at plus one one five it looks like a stinking draw at two plus two one five aloe veras at plus one seventy valicano at plus one eighty pavlos why is this like under two the dog when i cannot see more than two goals in this game plus one one five and it looks like it's a potential nil or one one at best at plus two one five possibly because of bad offences uh all of us they have the worst offense with 24 goals the worst home muffins with 12 goals uh radio they have now the six worst offense with 32 goals second worst away offense with just 10 goals uh i just you know if if you look at just the offensive lines i wouldn't be surprised if this was a goalless draw but uh defenses are also quite bad i mean alafest they have the second worst difference with uh 53 considered goals the sixth worst home difference with 18 considered goals and um radio they have the seventh worst away difference with 25 goals so i i really don't know where to go here i try to look at some different angles some possibly alaves you know double chance and over something or under something but you know these are two teams that are um especially alabas i don't think they're they've given up uh yet i mean they do have uh five straight uh first losses uh but maybe there's some fighting chance in them i i don't know i this so much where i i saw it i look at it at some stats and then i said no no there's there's no way i'm dealing with that much i mean if if you do and if you have an angle fine by me and good luck to you but i just don't see anything of value in this match um you know especially with this bad defenses i mean they're terrible and the defenses are also terrible so that's why we could see maybe a two-two draw we could see a goalless draw with no such and goal so for me it's a big fat pass but i think that's uh that's a reason uh for the for the prices on the under just bad offenses yeah draw plus two one five close enough to 200 for not splitting two big bad teams now because velocano had their little spur thought they'd done enough aloe vera don't know what you're getting paco how do you split these two sides and valicano done you a favor last week would i do you a favor again this week well as always in my quest to find the the value every single week whenever we speak about this kind of games uh i always remember always keep in mind that you said back in the day that whenever there was a draw over plus 200 we also should keep a close eye on on that kind of game and uh actually i've seen quite a lot of alabas this season quite a lot of riot this season actually last week against valencia it was an absolute stinker of a game um because they are facing many problems when scoring that's the main issue lately uh at the beginning of the season they had radamel falcao who scored quite a few goals late in the 90th minute and they were you know top six of the competition for quite a while but you know they've settled mid table um 34 points they are five clear from relegation they only like one win or two with six games and three of them are at home so it's going to be easy for them to to remain in la liga so that kind of motivation we're playing against alabas who are in desperate need of points but they are just incapable of getting them you know it smells so bad uh of a draw and i had to go for it and i think that that uh if you want this is the risk the risky choice of the of this week for me last last week it was the the plus 500 for something which wasn't actually a long shot i was one goal a way of getting it but this week i think that radio uh 1-1 nil nil even 2-2 if suddenly they they suddenly remember how to score i don't know i think it's it's it's worth it just to give it a try and let's see if these two teams you know cancel each other and we have something to rip off the benefits from it yeah fancy new nil myself uh but obviously can't get involved alavez might go and win two nil uh both teams to score no that's probably the best angle i can i can say both teams to score no i don't know what price it pretty probably like minus 140. let's move on oh now let's have a little look at the official pick because there is an official pick and it's the obvious one it's a draw that plus 225 i advertised it at plus 215 but now obviously it's moved to plus 225 or it was at plus 225 and it's now at plus 215. let's move on to game number three because i've got to come to you first now paco i know you've just been rabbiting but now i need you because it's valencia versus also sunnah valencia plus one one five also sooner Valencia vs Osasuna plus two seventy five the draw is at plus two twenty five under over is two again i think valencia could score twice i was close to going valencia team total 2 plus 150 you want to just pull the reins in on me and give me a reason why valencia are not really value a plus 115 on the money line well first up i i believe i've said it quite a few times this this this season in in the bad us channel uh obviously valencia and levante are the two teams i have seen the most of the whole competition because i actually broadcast all of the games so if uh i don't see myself betting on valencia it's because just how unreliable they have been and also because of external affairs for example as i told you earlier before the show um important injury at the back with paulista getting uh hurt the other day that he's not going to play till the copal right final which is happening next uh next uh saturday and they have three games two games sorry before that game they have uh against azuna also they have to visit amiga against a very informed villa real next tuesday and finally that capalary final valencia season is spending in that single game if they win it they get a europa league spot and they touch silverware okay so all of the all of their mentality and all of their effort is going to be going towards that game especially after you know they had two shots are trying to uh cut the distance i can't show the distance with the europa league spots and they failed miserably like last week against raj the week before against uh caddies which was you know fighting for for for their lives and valencia didn't deliver so that's why i tend to go and spend my time away from valencia whenever we talk about them because also sunnah they have become a kind of special side against valencia they always give a lengthy run for the money and you can also see that they are mid-table comfortable they're going to play with zero pressure absolutely so i don't know if valencia's defensive progress only two goals being allowed in the last seven games is going to be enough so not really confident in valencia i could smell uh narrow wind one nil two one a draw but not really confident on them well you you can smell the whole uh the whole conundrum the one thing i wanted to say that before i go to pavlos because obviously you're not on the la liga show next monday uh it will be roman but villarreal versus valencia will be a game that we'll be interested in is there not a mentality though of the players that are playing for valencia could impress do well keep their shirt and then they find themselves maybe two weeks ago that they weren't in contention for the copa del rey final place but then they do well and they do get a start uh i'd say that's at this point in time jose bordas already has like nine out of 11 players like with his mindset and they're going to be the starters definitely maybe one place up for grabs one two players but most of them are going to be starters like 100 um possibly only at the back there are a couple of dots regarding gabriel paulista not being fit uh but the rest of them i could say that from the top of my head the players who are going to play that final so not really i think that he's it's more like going into rotation getting more players like uh urorassi keller costa players at the back getting the akavi performing with the back three at the back with a defense of five players with three through center backs that is all the the things which uh borderlands is going to test but the starting lineup and the chances of doing very well as a player and suddenly coming into the starting lineup against vetties i i can see that i cannot say that okay pavlos valencia versus also sooner looks like a one-nil two-nil um any value on also soon are not scoring plus 145 because the one thing that valencia are not doing is letting them bundles are going of course yeah their difference has been really good lately uh as opposed to their xg numbers their uh you know their actual defense uh defensive numbers all season uh but you know uh the same with betis i mean as the that coupled array final closes in uh maybe we'll see some weird results from this valencia side but you know osasuna uh you know they were great uh away from home i think at one point they had the third or fourth best away uh record but it's kind of um it's kind of a skewed result if if i may because uh they now have six wins away from home um and let's see who this six wins came against uh alaves mallorca we are all where they scored uh a very late goal in that match and they won which was actually a good result but uh yeah then they beat um what granada and rayo i mean they of course they have six wins but this six wheels came against the teams that are not valencia and the valencia uh they've been uh you know quite difficult to beat at home um that's why i'm trying to rule out the yosasuna win now for the draw we'll discuss a bit about it but valencia they've only lost three matches at home all season and of course they lost to barcelona and espanol and real madrid so they don't lose easily the problem is that they have a lot of draws i think they have the most draws uh yes they have the most home throws the second most um in the la liga with seven and those asuna they kind of go all in they either win or lose they have six wins seven losses and two draws so uh they don't know how to keep uh you know the um the advantage or they don't know how to fight back so all things considered yes valencia could easily win this one uh also sunnah have dipped uh kind of especially on the road i mean in the second half of the season they have uh they now have five losses and two wins in the last uh seven matches so because the four against tibet is four against barcelona um they didn't score in a lot of away matches so far i guess guitar didn't score against delta didn't score um i don't know maybe this is a match yeah that it could easily be a one nil two nil uh possibly a one nil you know if valencia scored the first goal we probably gonna sit back and just play massive difference uh so yeah uh this is so much where i i wouldn't want to get involved if you held the gun to my head i'd go with the valencia moneyline yeah yeah that's exactly what i've done look at the official picks i went with valencia and my whole total thinking was also not scoring and i fancy that valencia get a minimum of one so valencia money like at plus one one five i also knew that paco was going to be on but i didn't know that paco's going to come and just stick every single pin that he owns in my balloon so valencia moneyline at plus 115 to add to an already swelling pot as a team total over 20 units let's move on to game number four because a little bit like rinse and repeat of this game Getafe vs Villarreal but with just a little bit more quality heads happy uh plus 220 villarreal everyone's darling from midweek unless you're a bayern fan plus 150 cannot believe that i mean 144 draw no bet for the visitors under over two goals with the under being at plus 110. uh pavlos kicked me off because there's a massive massive goal fear i'm thinking villarreal not looking at the tired i'm looking at the boost of confidence and the broad shoulders playing tall plus 150 for villarreal would normally be minus 110. yeah true it's uh you know maybe they spent a lot of uh energy uh in that second in the second leg with bayern munich but uh you know when you when you remain unbeaten in two matches against bayern munich in the quarterfinals i mean if that's not a huge psychological boost i don't know what it is i mean really and uh the thing is that they now play a hit of a side that uh are probably safe from relegation mostly you know due to their uh uh home form because on the road they're stinky still haven't won uh and they uh you know they're coming off a atuni loss to real madrid where they didn't uh they they weren't that bad but they weren't that good either i mean they were quite active uh but that uh five-man backline is really uh not it's not gonna give you a lot of goals i mean they can maybe safeguard the defense to not get destroyed but uh that's not gonna give you a lot of goals but they've been surprisingly good at home i mean um they're now unbeaten since i think it's uh late october or something like that late november uh but they had a quite easy schedule with mallorca with alaves levante granada they did beat real madrid as well but you know most of their wins they came against teams who are uh you know actually with them in the rat race uh to avoid the relegation so uh against the sphere outside i'm not so sure if they can you know be able to contain vrl's enthusiasm uh after all we are they have a nice bench i mean uh they can easily use their uh some reserves here and they can still win um after all they've they've won i think uh six and uh five in a row against hitapha in recent years so that goes to show that there um you know if if i saw a couple of draws or guitar wins there maybe i would say that this is a dangerous match but viral traditionally strong uh uh you know against uh hitafe especially in the past couple of years um not so great on the road this season and not very good results especially after the chimes league match but again i think the psychological boost of uh beating one of the best things in the world uh eliminating them actually because they beat them in the first leg but that draw in the second leg was again a huge a huge feat i mean they completely dismantled byron's offense so yeah i i'm i mean you're not going to get such a great value at plus 150 on the money line with viarelle against a side like hitachi all season so uh you might as well grab it or or paco you just go draw no bet everything you've got i don't see villarreal getting beat in this game i know they got beat two nil a few weeks ago i think he was away in granada where they were an absolute joke but i'm thinking that they come home they do more than enough to keep a clean sheet i mean it had taffy i like plus 175. i don't see villarreal getting beat so i think it's a shot to nothing with the draw no bet angle on the visitors yes and also about brl i believe that um well i've i've seen obviously brl with with european football this season and and as pablo said very very impressive they're they're showcasing both games both in lathramiga and also in in munich against the bayern but at the same time you also have to look into their uh immediate future okay they're going to play the semi-finals the champions semi-final which is an absolute historic fit for the for the club but at the same time imagine that they get knocked out of the of the champions league they are very far away from european spots so bia real the little team that could the cinderella story of the season with an incredible squad which is by the way very very expensive to keep could be without european football next season so that's like football work that's the way football works so they need to win in la liga and that's why they cannot really relax after uh moving on to the to the semi-finals in the champions league so against qatar the main issue is that kiki sanchez first knows uh very very well he actually knows all three uh four valencian sides because he spent many years of his career and his life over here in comunidade valencia and he knows how the ariel plays he knows how naomi plays he knows that he'll need to be very uh proficient defensively in order to keep the ariel at bay and that's why i believe that hitachi have a shot against them so you face only one can hitachi only need like one win possibly once you wins you be safe definitely at home it's going to be easier for them than on the road as flash and pablo's already have have said um and on the other hand you have the ariel who need the wins because they just cannot relax they are playing a valencian jar against valencia next tuesday which won't be easy because both teams are going to be thinking about other stuff but let's see about the capability final and the larry are thinking about the following uh there's more chance of valencia obviously we're jumping ahead now to midweek but obviously we need our cards mark because you know these teams just like you do the back of your hand but surely valencia have got more eyes on other prizes in next midweek than villarreal because villarreal win this and they win next week that's six points out of six they can actually start thinking right we have got a backup plan if all things go bad in the champions league semi-final definitely and the way i see it and from some uh inputs getting from the vr royal camp i believe that after moving on to to that semi-final they have like two weeks in order to prepare the game which won't need much preparation because you're facing liverpool after all and that's you know it's going to be very tough anyway but they said that they are thinking about the chance of you know winning actually winning the games in order to be within arms reach of european places because if they get knocked out of europe they need europe next season in order to sustain the kind of football model so that's why i think that brl are going for it this weekend against itafe i expect a clash of styles in that sense and that's why in other words i kept myself away from this game because i wasn't really sure about the outcome but on the other circumstances i would see for example ketafe getting something out positive of this because we are thinking about the champions league and that's it but no they have many reasons to be thinking about la liga and going for the three points in this game okay let's have a look at the official picks do not see the away side getting beat so that's why my selection is villarreal draw no bear at minus 135 again minus 140 shown -135 so you're looking around that area for villarreal draw no bear and then just going strength to strength let's go for game number five now this game i think is pretty simple um on the cards anyway or on paper it's Granada vs Levante granada versus levante forget the money line again you want to go and pick a winner here then you are just playing russian roulette with your money but have a look at the over two and a half at minus 120 under two and a half at plus 100 the draw is at plus 260 levante to score twice at plus 155 greater to score twice at plus 120. granada were involved in a two-nil victory a couple of weeks ago last week a 2-2 96-minute equaliser i'll kick off with you goals over two and a half minus 120 don't care who scores grenada score three levante score three i think they both score and it's over to be honest but at minus 120 that's good enough yeah it's a gift i mean that's the first match i circled when i saw this week's uh you know slate i didn't like a lot of stuff uh just this and the betis mats but this one was the first that it caught my eye uh for numerous reasons first reason relegation battle granada 16 with 29 points one point above the relegation zone shirley is feeling sweaty right now uh levante 22 points uh seven points below the relegation zone they've been keep feeling sweaty for you know quite a while possibly the entire season um offenses good offenses uh lately i mean alabaster scored uh granada scored three goals against alaves on the road they scored twice against rayon at home they scored twice against sevilla on the road i mean that's gotta be worth something right and it's not like uh lucky goes they were bowling they were actually bowling they got 27 percent the ball position and have the stats right here 27 ball position and you still create 15 goal attempts and five sets on target how is that possible because they're fighting for their lives they don't want to get relegated because it's really hard to get back up so uh yeah and when you look the previous match the reverse fixture uh granada they beat levante by three nil at home so um six of the last eight matches between two sides had over two and a half goals seven of those eight also had both things to score so i wouldn't be surprised if we saw the combination of both score and over two and a half goals uh but yeah um relegation battle between two teams who have uh you know uh have been scoring a lot of goals of course their defenses are not nowhere near perfect that's why um it's more than logic to see both teams you know logical to uh see both teams getting on the board but uh i i didn't want to complicate it with both things to score and over two and a half goals because you know sometimes uh now look what happened in the first round granada they won by three to nil so simple over i think that's the uh the play of the week yeah i i've got to admit the first thing i saw was goals in this game paco granada scoring goals even if they're not winning games at the moment they're scoring gold levante they only know how to go forward and obviously they came off a big win in the last couple of weeks i think it was them that be villarreal two-nil so again just goals would you agree with goals well i always say that levante is seasoned 21-22 levante are possibly the most maddening side i've seen in over well i'm on my way to 20 years broadcasting games because uh it's uh you know you can't have three pens for you like in favor against varsa and lose the game yeah full stop uh and they did it it was something which is absolutely amazing and that means that levante's defense is as effective as you know a bunch of teddy bears because because yeah really it's very muddy to watch the game because you see that there's the quality you have some players who are obviously some of them are not going to be back because roger martin is absent in this game you were talking about goal so levante won't have roger possibly till the end of the season they have lost their fruits also which was one of their main strikers this year they only have like morales left um and at the same time you know they have the quality they have the the the mentality they have the i would say the the desire the drive to to win the games but they are so bad at the back like that one of the worst things i've ever seen defending in top flight in primera division so that's why granada can't punish lemante in only two three chances they have in this game so possibly going for goals is the way to go i kept myself away from this game because as i said levante are modeling to watch because they are so frustrating to watch and yeah imagine a granada narrow wind three two two three two two that can absolutely happen because levante away from home have been rubbish this season well they haven't rubbish overall but especially away from home and uh the difference between the gap between them and the ones who are safe from relegation is getting bigger and bigger because they miss so many chances against barcelona of the time okay and espanol have i believe and pablos knows the stat but i believe they have only one once this season obviously had to be against valencia okay so uh on december 21st i believe so i think atletico are going to win i think atletico are going to score goals and possibly spaniel could you know get a dig here on there 2-1 3-1 3-2 i don't know but i see analytical winning i see them being angry and because of that anger being careless at the back but at the same time very very effective in in front so uh i went actually i went for for atletico win and uh over 2.5 goals overall so i think i found a bit of value over there but uh overall it's a very tricky game to you to predict uh even though uh if i had to go with someone obviously it would be unlucky so like you've also
