on the ground so roman i'll come to you first because the english premier league has been decimated with pandemic and the spreading and trying to keep everyone safe up over this christmas period are we expecting any sort of cancellations postponements of la liga games and if not what we'll take to cancel well at the moment uh there isn't i mean all games should be played the only one that's slightly in doubt would be that real madrid because at the moment ramadi have up to six players with kobe 19 plus one of the assistant coaches uh so we were talking about important players here like maldives like ascencio uh and not so important ones we could say as bale uh rodrigo and marcello and the goalkeeper um lunin who's the second one behind courtois so in this case uh according to laliga's rules the game has to be played if madrid have at least 14 players available and if at least one of their goalkeepers the two main goalkeepers is also available so it's it's unlikely at the moment that it's postponed unless uh they do further tests and this uh outbreak goes further and there's more players which are uh with this virus so at the moment as things stand here uh the game should go on but we'll have to wait and see i guess till the the next few days see how everything evolves so it's a game you should be careful with if you want to place any bets uh beforehand maybe you should wait until it's played or during play if it actually takes place yeah well we don't want to be getting involved in that game anyway not now because there's too much uncertainty pavlos off a winning week um there seems to be plenty good value this week as well and we're starting to see the turning of certain teams in la liga that have been average below average can't trust but in the last couple of weeks and this is why we do our job we're starting to see green shoots of recovery and the books have not caught up yet yeah that's true and um we also see sort of the opposite thing where there were some mediocre teams where they were doing a great job uh in the past weeks but they're now uh sort of deflating uh like alaves for example but um yeah there's a lot of value to be had in this la liga matches and we're here to talk about it okay well let's kick straight off with this first game we've got five games get yourselves in the chat any questions then don't be shy um there'll be a q a at the end because we're only Rayo vs Alaves covering the five games and the first one is rayo vallacano versus alves no one would have thought about that pre-season but here they are very strong at home against the alabama side where they we can just hear the gas coming out of the balloons like that and there are plus four ten the draw is at plus two sixty the total is under over two and a half if you rely on the away side then i i i didn't i let pablo i left this game alone i love rayo vallacano but for some reason of the last couple of weeks at home fella can't have let me down away from home they've done me proud because they've not turned up yeah well vallecano they had some insane numbers at the start of the season but as we said in the previous show these numbers are starting to regulate uh slowly but steadily but still they have some pretty solid numbers and when you compare that to to the you know the numbers that are thrown out by alaves uh i just have to pick the home side here i mean they they just um they had their run i think it was five matches and unbeaten then uh now they won just one of their last five uh of course that includes two a couple of cup matches um they also lost in the cup uh yesterday i believe or the day before um they are not very good on the road uh i love this especially they have the fourth uh worst xg on the road with just 0.96 per game fourth worst away offense with just six goals uh their defensive numbers are also bad um eight worst uh xga on the road with 1.6 per game and fifth uh best away difference with just five considered goals so um uh i'm sorry that's that's incorrect they have considered 10 goals but the thing is that they have they have grabbed the second fewest um away points so far in the league just five points one win for losses and two draws and a minus four goal differential but um vajcano they are on the opposite side of things they have the best home record in the league with seven wins and a draw they have scored 17 goals they can they have considered just three which is the best defense um they have the best goal differential in the entire league at home uh so i believe even even without falcao i think palkau is out in this match with a muscular muscle injury again uh but even so i think uh they will continue to do a very good job at home uh where they have the uh the third best home office with 17 goals that have the best home difference with three goals i mean these numbers are just uh not going down all that much their xg numbers kind of regulated but uh again i believe that they're a very strong side especially at home and uh alabas on the road they haven't been all that great uh a couple of wins a couple of draws uh not very good overall and as i said before they're they look like they're deflating at this point uh in the season so um yeah i really love uh vajcano maneline on this one roman i just felt that this game was very very tricky i'm looking at numbers first of all as you know i've been like a valicano fan all season long minus 130 for them at home i mean alavez really that bad to be plus 410 and even the double chance at plus 110 i can see there's been a draw but now i have to be cheering on pavlos do i need to be cheering you on as well um i mean i think so because um it's true that maybe uh alaba's price tag is a bit confusing but i think it has to do with railway cannot be so fantastic at home and i was looking at numbers and i saw that there's only one team in the five top leagues with more victories at home than ryu ganon that's psg with eight so i mean this comes to prove how good they are at home you know it's such a strong side eighty percent of their pointers so they've obtained at home and as long as they keep getting these results uh their stadium i think it's it makes sense to to go for them if they have a decent prices in this case they do so i think it's it's worth going for raiba econo they're they play much better football they generate occasions even in that game where they lost against via al tunillo last weekend they had i think it was 19 shots they had plenty of chances to score goals against them stronger defense we could say which is uh viral and also alabas on the other hand they don't have one of their main centre-backs legion who's who suspended only it's la guardia their main man with tachi possibly joining him in that uh two positions of the centre-back so that's always obviously obviously another weakening factor for elevate and they could get a goal they could maybe put under a little bit of pressure but overall i think uh bayekano are a very reliable site at the moment at home and and if you if you think they're they're going to win or that you can find value i think you should go for it and what about rayo vallicano to score twice pavlos at minus 110 instead of taking the minus 140 we're not seeing an alabas score twice or even three so if we think ryo velikano can score over one and a half goals at minus one ten you would lean that way rather than taking the minus one yeah i mean the the price is great but um i'm i'm kind of worried that uh maybe they'll they'll score the first and then maybe sit back on the result after after all you know a one-nil uh is still a win and that's why i i also i saw that that price on the over one and a half but um the price on the simple money line was just uh pretty similar and i just don't see ella vest cutting any points from rajo here and i don't see them scoring twice i mean they did score twice against sevilla earlier in the season and twice against khadith but uh they've overall been very very bad on the road while uh vacant have been pretty pretty solid uh both defensively and offensively at home so this could be yeah this could be like a 2-1 uh win for vallejano uh but yeah i'll stick to my money line okay you stick to your money liner so have a look at the official picks i'd be interested in maybe alavez not scoring but they're again rayo moneyline at minus 130 rio and under four and a half at minus 110 and obviously velocano to score twice in the game is at minus 110 again so that's the home side sorted out let's go to the second game Real Sociedad vs Villarreal because i'm looking forward to the home side yeah no um real sociedad versus villarreal they've got this all wrong for me sasha dad at minus 120 villarreal plus 260. that is not a misprint double chance for the visitors at minus 140 one of the best sides in european football on their day and they are showing more than green shoots of coming back to their best roman the draw is at plus two two five no thank you total under over two and a half with the under being juiced at minus one thirty five let's start off with sasha dad not being worthy plus one twenty and villarreal being totally disrespected at plus 260. well i mean if you look at current form definitely you would want to go for brl at the moment because they're finally getting good results playing good football well they were all playing good football i'd say but finally that good football is turning into into goals turning to good results into points to qualifying uh to the champions league knockout stages so i mean now via real seem to be much more comfortable and emery's football is finally uh properly being implemented by the players and on the other hand it's a real society who are a bit slumpy lately they're not doing too well uh but at the same time you know they're playing at home if you look at the whole season they had a great start if they could come kind of come back to that form i mean then there would definitely be dangerous and what slightly worries me in this case is that two of their main players in the midfield which are miguel medina and david silva they're crucial for this team and they've been away for a while and they're going to be back most likely for this match so if the coach can actually count on them their defensive line is is all available in attack or yard is not injured anymore issac is there so they look more dangerous than they maybe would have looked the match they go two match days ago that's why in my case i'm a bit cautious in the sense but if i have to go for somebody i do think biarel at the moment have the form they have the players mourinho's back the only thing that worries me here a bit is that danjuma uh has a knock we don't know if he's gonna be available and he's really really important for that team playing in that left wing and going forward because he also scores goals so uh if they have him in the squad i think you know have great chances and also if you look back at the numbers between both sides it's true that bieral uh have usually done really well against real society away and they uh maybe have been slightly disrespected as you said by that money line uh value but uh in my case i'm going to skip because it's a game which i'm not really sure uh what's going to happen in the end i've lost you know where i'm going i'm going all out with the away side because i see them as being a better side and i see this being a very very tight game where villarreal scored first one nil that could be the end of it that could be keep ball get 10 men behind the ball frustrate and just keep it i cannot have social at plus 120 against this yellow submarine yeah me neither and i i don't see a lot of goals in this match either i mean uh all eight how much is for um or also that had under two and a half goals with an average of exactly one goal per match that's extremely low and um vijayal on the road they haven't yet won they have three losses and five draws uh six of those eight matches had under two and a half goals with an average of 1.5 goals per month so um uh also the two teams uh last season they exchanged a couple of one one draws so this looks like um like a low scoring match for sure now um i also said that they have a weird weird home record they have four wins one loss and three draws um they have the fourth best xga uh the fourth best defense um at home they have the third best xga with zero 1.05 per game the best home difference with just three considered goals but they also have the worst home offense with uh just five goals so they scored five they consider three in eight matches that's just extremely extremely low um while we are all the numbers have been improving both defensively and offensively [Music] but they do have a trouble on the road they have the second worst away offense with just four goals uh ninth best xg on the road though with 1.3 per game so their their offerings is uh kind of underperforming but now with gerard moreno uh back uh we also discussed we discussed that in uh the previous show that i mean we've got to make sure that people are aware the gerard moreno is like vlarovich for fiontina jeko he is the man that finishes off all of their good work so and all of them xg's was when he was out yeah and now we're looking at social who don't score goals in their better fit squad yeah we've got a couple of ball players but not real dangerous players coming back i see villarreal being the perfect what about both teams to score no yeah that could happen i mean i i don't think there's ever been a single match uh for al susida at home that uh both teams go i think only one against bilbao all the other ones had the boston score no so um uh yeah i i don't expect a high scoring mats that's why i paired uh vr or tie with under four and a half goals so for a little you know extra bigger roads and that's why uh that's because of a year i'll have been great as roman said earlier they have been great in this venue uh in since i think 1999 that we have the data they have nine wins four losses and eight draws uh in this venue so they're pretty good and they have lost just one league match uh in the last decade here they have five wins one loss and three draws in league matches so um you know uh there is some form compared with zeral moreno's uh return and um the good history in this matchup i think that uh vrl have a great great chance to to escape with some points here yeah i nearly went really greedy here i'm i want the official picks to come up because i nearly made it my banker on villarreal at plus 260. but what i did do was uh i went with double chance as well at minus 140 so almost give me a free hit on the away win and you've gone with villarreal double chance and under four and a half at minus 120 um yeah you've nicked an extra 20 cents there so we're like that but we are all over the away side not getting beat okay and move on to our next game because this is a Granada vs Mallorca home side well i'm happy to uh think that i'm just a little bit overpriced granada if i have a little bit of amnesia but granada have to win home games and i haven't been doing it and they're at plus 150 now they were at plus 160. then it dropped to plus 155 it's the money keeps pouring in at plus 115 is that because the visit as majorca do not win off of the island it's plus 210 draw at plus two one five again i'm going against what i always say like we said last week don't listen to us if it's near 200 just go with a draw we said it last week what happened yep it was a draw and under or over to roman i've gone with the home side and i want to be with a home side at plus 150 well to be honest this season i can't really trust the grandma yet i haven't seen any consistency in their game in their results in general since they changed codes they've been a completely different side and i honestly haven't been capable of detecting what they're capable of because one game they might score four goals they might have a fantastic match and the next one they might be really disappointing so in that sense um i've stayed away from them and similarly to majorca who had a great start then a ton of draws and now they're still struggling to get back into that winning streak also quite unreliable even at home last week against delta where they should have maybe got something more they weren't capable although to be fair that day it was extremely extremely windy i was watching the game and it was barely impossible to make a long pass or shoot properly because the wind was completely changing everything and that's why it was a very boring game to be honest because the players weren't capable of playing their football uh although majorca still had the quality to at least get a better result taking sorry taking into account that kubo is back from his injury he's now playing he's he's an important player for majorca at least he was the beginning so in that sense uh i can't really say which team could win which team could lose there's both sides have quite a few uh injuries or or doubtful players which we don't know if there will be available what is good for majorca is that baba is going to be back and when he's on the field mayor have way more chances of winning because his defensive work is incredible and also going forward he can uh provide for them and it's a matter of seeing which team is is more accurate i guess towards goal in this in this game although to be fair um granada at home do have to get wins at some point and i think maybe relying on them is a bit safer than going uh for majorca but in my case uh i'd stay away yeah i have to give you a little inkling into my notes i went with home sides desperation when is the penny gonna drop that if they are going to stay in la liga have lost they have got to start winning their home games so i looked and thought do i want draw no better minus 135 or do i have the faith that granada who are very very good at home on a normal la liga season that they're going to start playing like that again and we're going to get plus 150. yeah that's a sound logic um i mean granada they can slowly uh they have been improving lately i mean they're on a format's unbeaten streak they have lost just two of their last 10 in long competitions competitions they have four wins two losses and four draws um a couple of nice results in there uh they're also they also won the previous match against alaves and the majorca are a similar side in terms of you know overall team strength um granada's numbers are not good i just i just have to admit it i mean these are facts they have the third worst xg fifth worst offense with 17 goals second worst xt at home fifth worst home office with nine goals worst xga with 1.82 per game third worst difference with 24 considered goals is that why i'm getting my plus 150 for a home side that normally wins at home games that's that's probably why you get that plus 150 because um the numbers are terrible but uh i don't think they're they're so bad i mean they've scored in all their whole matches uh this is the score against real madrid against sevilla against the also so that these are all pretty solid defenses and majorca they i think they've kept just one clean seat on the road in the uh in the first away match against alaves they can see it goes left and right and uh i think this granada offense is not that bad it's it's just uh you know it's it's adequate it's uh it's just a mediocre difference in the offense and they can do a pretty solid job against this major difference that is just not very good not very good they have the third worst away defense with 16 considered ghosts third wars xga on the road i mean granada will get their first area of chances here and uh if they can just be just careful at the back i think they can get the three points here i mean yeah i'm glad you said that i'm glad you said that because that's exactly where i was going here i was going with granada need to get a result they're gonna i'm almost fading the majorca defense and mjorka's inability to score more than one on on the road uh i think that this is a minimum two one three one home side and you're getting plus 150 don't complicate it so for me hey listen grenada will go on the naughty step but i've got a little slogan that i wrote ahead of all of these for the last couple of weeks for la liga and it is be ahead of the trend we all watch these games we all watch these teams so we see that when a team starts playing a little bit better creating a little bit more it's only timed before they go in so official picks you know i'm on my own here you heard what the boys said they want nothing to do with granada um it was plus 160 then plus 155 the money keeps coming in and it's plus 150 all my family and friends are on granada plus 150 let's move on to game four and it is versus Getafe vs Osasuna sooner i'm going to look straight down draw plus 200. catap at plus 145 or so sooner plus 2 30. pick them at plus 125 for the visitors under over two but over two is plus 125 roman is this a nil nil this could be very likely a nil nil if it's not a no it'll probably be a 1-1 or low-scoring game overall there's uh where we want to look towards this game historically there's many many draws between these two sides maybe ketafe have the slightly better results overall against asuna but it tends to be a draw so i think there's maybe value to be found there and also it's true that both both infosuna especially they have a big setback in defense which is david garcia who's been their main man this season probably their best player overall and he's he's suspended so he's not going to be there so that definitely weakens a bit that assassina defense but despite that i don't think hitachi's defense is great either and the attacking options that have are quite decent with chimiyabila with kiki garcia with bodhimir etc so i mean despite that i don't think it's going to be a goal fest have improved recently to be fair they don't look as bad as it did at the beginning of the season with a new manager they got this little boost they're getting some more decent results and fighting to survive and against alabas for example last weekend they were really really close to getting the win and right at the end they got snatched away from them by joselu but i don't think um as i said we're going to see too many goals here i think it's going to be a very tight one are going to try and defend and maybe find something in the counter attack and people might think that after that really good result against parsa they're going to be great but to be fair soon i think are the team that kind of grow against big sites we saw against against we saw it against barca when they play these sites they usually get decent results because they fight and give the 100 percent but again size against uh that changes a bit and as i said looking back into the record between these two sites draws are very very common low scoring results are very very common so if you want to find value i think you should be looking around there yeah i'm fencing draw half time is going to be odds on i'm i'm thinking it's got to be minus 110 maybe minus 105 for draw half time if you want to just go that way i think you can go to betus.com and have a look at the 75 minute mark so you don't get done with like a rogue var decision or goal in the last 20 minutes but pavlos surely all your numbers are telling us the draw at plus 200 the unders and the boat team to score no yeah yeah exactly i'm just gonna start off by saying historically that eight of the last nine matches between the two sides uh and each of the last four matches within the last two seasons had under two and a half goals so uh uh there's that and uh now let's talk about qatar there are on the five match unbeaten streak they only lost vial in their last eight matches they have three wins five draws um at home they haven't been all that bad they have two wins for loss and two draws but they're unbeaten in their last three uh also sunnah we talked about this also in uh in past um shows that they started the the season i think they were uh they had the the second best uh away record for for like um a really long time they had three wins and uh like it was four wins in a draw at the start of the season but now they have fallen off a little bit uh and uh winless in their last four away league matches uh they weren't the easiest of matches of course they had real madrid sofia atletico levante but anyway uh we are talking about two very bad uh offensive lines uh qatar have the the worst offense with 11 goals also soon i have the fifth worst offense with 17 goals uh defense is not looking really good so yeah i believe that uh maybe this uh these two these two sides will cancel each other out and um the draw is quite a possible result i mean uh susana would be more than okay with the draw here hit after are gonna look for the win in order to maybe uh escape the relegation zone but yeah there's a lot of draws individually uh with with uh these sides and um even more so when they uh when they play against each other so yeah a draw especially at halftime is surely surely something to consider here yeah i'm just having a quick look to see if i can put a little bit more meat on the bone um i'm just looking here and it's like hetafe versus osasuna and the reason i'm i'm saying this is because i wanted just to see what the halftime uh one was because it looks like it could be nailed on um right her tafe correct score neil neil in fact what about the deal neal because although we've got the drawer like plus 200. neil neil was only only plus a 450 draw draw is at plus 275 so we're trying to give you everything and the draw and this is probably the best one the draw after 75 minutes is the same as the drawer after 95 which is plus 200. so again let's have a little look at the official Levante vs Valencia i think we may buck the trend here is valencia massive plus 165 valencia very very assured at the back on their day though uh my uh plus 170 the draw at 235 and the total is under or over two and a half with the under being favorite at minus 125. roman i think this goes over because i think levante have gone back to their old ways of throwing caution to the wind their old uh play and style was not working so now they've got to find something new yeah i mean i think this game is is all about the goals as you said i mean the over uh 2.5 is tempting uh the levante over 1.5 team total is tempting both teams to score is tempting because it's it's one of those results if we're saying before that there's lots of draws here there are usually lots of goals and also if you take into account the squads available for this game if you look at valencia they have their two main center backs paulista and alderete injured so they're not going to be playing their best striker maxi gomez is possibly suspended but they still have guests out there they still have andre so i mean they have they have quality they can still score they've proved it without them and on the other hand you look at levante they have a pretty decent squad but they're missing malsa in that midfield suspended son one of their main fallbacks is also suspended so i mean the defenses seem like they're pretty much open uh to allow strikers to have opportunities and we saw the other day against um espanola le pantes panel game 4-3 at the end thrilling goals up and down levante proved to be very bad defending but they proved that they can also score goals with morales roger and these guys up front they have a lot of firepower and against uh valencia it's a derby it's a local derby so the extra intensity they're going to bring to the field we're see a hundred percent and especially take into account the levante still hasn't won this season so i mean this would be uh the best way for them i guess to to break that terrible streak again 25 games roman and you did point out last week that they're gonna set a record they said it already that was the record 25 games i was absolutely over the moon because we did fade levante last week exactly well for you guys and i mean levante have been appalling as you said and it looks like they're doing slightly better uh with the new manager although the copa ray didn't go too well for them in the end but of course they're thinking about la liga at the moment they're thinking about saving themselves from a relegation because they're in very very big trouble at the moment and as i said this could be a great opportunity but anything have lots of injuries so i think all the ingredients are set up for a goal fest like i would even say for goals from both sides so if you want to look at value i think you have to go for that at the moment because it's going to be hard to predict whether it's going to be valencia winning whether it's going to be levante but the goals i think we can mostly guarantee yeah i i agree please pavlos tell me that your numbers are telling us exactly the same because what i see with my naked eye is i mean levant here plus 1 165 to score twice valencia plus 165 to listen you cannot split these it's plus 235 who cares who wins when the over two and a half is now at plus 105. yesterday when i wrote this up over two and a half was a plus one one five they've already moved the market by 10 in favor of goals yeah uh first of all i'm going to start off by saying uh about the the history in this head to uh seven of the last eight matches between the two sides had both him score uh levante have scored uh in each of the last eight matches as host against valencia uh both mr score was in four of those eight matches uh which goes to show that no matter the season no matter how well they do uh they they are very very competitive against valencia and valencia have won just uh one of their last eight matches in this venue so um this is a traditionally a tough trip for valencia uh but when you look at this number the numbers this season valencia have been much much better than levante levante are one of those teams where they can score like three goals and lose like they did to us against espanol last week they also scored three away goals against cevilla and lost by five to three this is a team that uh they can blow up offensively at any given moment but their difference is just terrible uh even though they can score goals uh but they do have the worst xg with 0.87 per game and the fifth worst offense with 16 goals so they also have the worst xg at home uh the second worst home offense was just six goals uh the worst difference with 32 considered goals i mean their numbers are just terrible but something different happens when they host valencia and i think this is a match where we'll it starts at 1-1 it starts at 1-1 and then it's it's all upwards from that i mean uh logically it's gonna be valencia score the second goal but uh again this levante side has been really really weird how offensively lately they can score uh goals against uh some of the toughest defenses in this league uh and valencia are not one of the toughest defenses i think they have the fourth worst defense the seventh worst xga uh the sixth worst uh weight difference with 16 considered goals so uh yeah levante will have their that will have their chances to score here and i believe they will so um yeah it's both things to score a simple both in score for me because uh uh i don't know i just i thought it's uh it's it's a safer bet it's safe exactly that's the word that's the four letter word it is unbelievably safe i would go as far as saying if you're gonna watch one la liga game this weekend this this says to me that this is gonna be if you was putting a flyer out or an advert for this game it's goals cards excitement now whether they take them chances roman is another thing but these two sides do not like each other they both think that they can win the game which then tells you there's no one going to be sitting back everything tells you i know when we also know that the uh money has moved for the over two and a half yeah unless your name is paco polite you all uh like both but in in the other case uh who's paco palette for so long we forgot about you remember the three little pigs when one of them leaves to like go and make up a new house and that he's like that he left he got too big for his boots but i know he will be back very very soon he'll be back he'll be back for sure he'll be back and he'll be very attentive to what happened in this game of course because the two sides he likes of course and they went to a tight position at the moment and yeah i mean overall it's it's it's a game where you're gonna see goals i think for sure unless something really strange happens because uh we just said it you know they can score goals but at the same time defensively both teams are poor i think that's the main factor here levante can't defend we've seen it all season and valencia can defend sometimes but i think less this time because they are missing two of their best centre-backs so this sense uh there's going to be lots of opportunities and the passion we said before in a derby uh between both sides usually increments the intensity increments the the the wanting to win you know the the wanting to have those three points so that's why i think that goals is the way to go okay let's put up the official picks and while i'm doing that then i'm
