this calendar year they've got the third best points return unexpected goals process under antonio conte behind the big two in the premier league so things are trending right but i would urge just a slight slight bit of caution in the last two matches in which they have turned the game on its head in the second half they've made relatively slow starts they were fortunate to be uh you know on par with aston villa for the first half last week loris had to play pretty well and again against newcastle a bit of a tough opening 45 minutes but they they showed their authority and their ability in the second half and when he got those three players in form up front um they look difficult to stop so yeah momentum is definitely with them and you sort of have to make them a strong favorite now to finish in the top four yeah without a doubt and the other good thing with them is they've got plenty players to come off the bench okay then stench here's your moment plus 1200 uh made no sense to many but many did actually follow you blind well yeah i think i made the point that it could be a chess match and maybe it wasn't quite so much a chess match but one thing you'll say about liverpool man city probably the two best club teams in the world and they are the two best club teams in the world because they're very good at football and what that means is they keep the ball well they don't play blind passes they don't hoof the ball they don't waste possession and when you're doing that you've got more control over what's happening with the ball so you don't get randomness like corners um i have to say slightly lucky in a way because i do believe there was one corner wasn't given i think mo salah had a shot i think it deflected off john stones his leg or thigh or something so that could have could have been a corner but still the the same logic applied regardless of that particular outcome so yeah a very nice bet a very nice winner and i know we're a premier league this weekend stinch look at that double o 7 license to frill and we'll be happy if there's more of them um yeah myself and mark we're just playing uh ying and yang there but the total 3.78 means that we're now in decent profit and we're going to build on that as well so i've had my week stinch had his week last week so this week will be for the award winner okay let's uh remember that there's a q a at the end we're going to cover four games there's not a full premier league card this week because obviously four teams are involved in the fa cup semi-finals which again you can catch me tomorrow but what we have got is i've i believe we've got value we're going to cover the four games and the first one is as we spoke Tottenham vs Brighton about spurs versus brighton so we're going to have a little look at the the numbers of that game please okay we've got spurs at minus 190 which could be a parallel piece but the free hit minus one at minus 110 does look like it's very tasty indeed but brighton off the back of a win last week at the emirates killed a few bets especially one of my bankers but at plus 550 no thank you uh the draw at plus 335 i just can't see anything but the home side because i think tottenham maybe are on a par with man city and liverpool at the moment just in current form with goals and togetherness in the over two and a half at minus 115 mark o'hare that will probably prick up a few years as well yeah um brighton i think we'll address them first because i kind of kind of ruined them letting my my arsenal selection down last week like you and you know i kind of sanded the alarm with the injuries to pate and tierney but brighton scored two pretty low quality opportunities in that match they were very good across the full 90 has to be said but you know they'll say they deserved a bit of luck really after how they performed in recent weeks and you know i'm sure i saw a status that they they scored just one goal from their previous 102 shots before they went to the emirates and you know if i see everything clicked in in that match last weekend but uh yeah i mean irrespective of their ability to stay in games and be competitive and avoid defeat that was only their fourth premier league win since mid-september which is quite a wretched record for a team who was sat 11th in the premier league table so that probably tells you more about the premier league than brighton but yeah they're looking now to try and push on and reach the top half and it's a tough schedule from here on in for brighton and you know on the surface they've lost just three or 15 away games which is excellent in fairness but yeah i can't see them being anything more than just a speed bump for spurs in this match um you know tottenham in their current flow can they stop them i'm not sure you know kane and son linking up wonderfully well last weekend the addition of kudozski we keep talking about the same things week after week because they keep impressing us week after week and you know i did say that the only downside was those first halfs against newcastle and villa but you know compared with the second half it's not in day really they're so ruthless so clinical in fine form defensively they have improved the midfield's got better balance about it a slight negative of matt dougherty now out injured for the rest of the season but um apart from that it's all positive really and you know i talked about kante's return uh he actually won seven of ten home premier league games now under the italian they've scored 27 goals in that sequence and they've scored twice or more in nine of those 10 games as well so yeah i'm quite keen on spurs um i boosted the price by adding in over one and a half goals so i told them to win over one and a half comes in around -110 which i think is fair enough brighton away from home i've seen over one and a half goals and 13 of 15 they've conceded in 12 of those you know we sort of associate a brighton team of having a relatively uh resolute defense or they've conceded an all bar three away and spurs home games averaged 3.2 goals 13 or 15 also going over one and a half i'm basically just excluding the one nil home win and backing spurs to win by any other scoreline which i think is is a reasonable option considering you know we're now into sort of the middle of april and teams do start to slack off and loosen i did some research earlier in the week on basically the the months of the season which produced the most goals per game and it definitely sort of takes a a crescendo towards the end of the campaign late april and may the goals per game increases quite dramatically so hoping that is the case here too yeah stitched a few massive uh pluses for me with this spur side is take away all the goals take away the togetherness is their mental and physical strength because they went one nil up in the game last week against villa very very early on but then villa booted him off the park and i mean like the pace of the game was like so like villa want on them they were like leaving their foot in they were like closing down in groups and tottenham just stood up and took it and matched them and then in the end just ran like ran away from them i mean this is a spur side that's got spine all of a sudden because everyone says spurs soft underbelly yeah definitely i think there's been a few different mental aspects they've shown under the reign of conte you think about them against newcastle a couple of weeks ago they went one nil down and bounced back very well to score five i think well i think the best example really is probably that game away at city they were leading 2-1 and then city got a a penalty in injury time and from my mind probably only one team go on and win it which is going to be city and then all of a sudden spurs gone at the other end and actually showed you know caution to the wind and went and got themselves a winner so i you know i think there's been a few examples this season definitely where spurs have showed that they have got the uh mental capabilities to handle tough situations and i think in uh and it all comes boils down to the manager isn't it antonio conte is a born winner that's there's no doubt about it you know he that we what you see him on the sideline he lives every every minute every tackle every pass every shot even at sort of three one and four one he's still going mad if his team scores another goal after that so yeah and when you've got the likes of kane and son and uh kulazewski's fitted in perfectly hasn't he and and benton core they know he's been the sleeping giant for me yeah i mean i i questioned that i questioned those signings because i wasn't sure that's what they necessarily needed but shows shows that content knew exactly what i needed and they've just been they've just been fantastic additions so yeah i don't really like the the spurs price of uh of them to win i think it's a tad short minus 190 but i don't think you're really giving up a lot with mark's bet in particular going from 190 to 110 just to say well tottenham won't win one nil if they do win i think that's more than worth the risk they've played brighton already uh twice this year they beat them two nil away and they've beaten 3-1 at home so i don't think we should be suggesting anything different is gonna is gonna be on the cars this weekend okay before we put up the official pits can i just have a quick last look at the prices please because i just wanted to see and our faults whether we think that brighton will score because obviously villa didn't score last week but brighton not to score is just a plus 110 which tells you you're better off looking elsewhere i think spurs team total minus 150 they must score twice for me they must okay thanks for that producer let's get the official picks of game number one in match day 33 and it's topped them in over one and a half at minus one twenty top them three hit for me minus one minus one ten i think tottenham do win two nil three nil three one and if they go bonkers then they could score four as well but we've got this as a home win top them the form side and it's best i think we follow these probably right the way now till the end of the season because they've got that top four which i'll tell you what eight weeks ago no one would have thought spurs would be one of the favorites for the top four okay move on to game number two because Southampton vs Arsenal it's like jekyll and hyde here and that's just the away side because we've got southampton versus arsenal southampton on the back of getting beat six last week could have been 15. um and they're at plus 300 against an arsenal side who disappointed at home when they cannot afford to disappoint they're chasing the top four as well and just to boot they're chasing their most bitter rivals in spurs but arsenal minus 110 under over two and a half minus one one five for just to see three goals is decent arsenal to score twice is that minus 105 i think we ruled the draw out at plus 275 because stinch is in the case of arsenal need the three points one will not do yeah i think our southampton on the beach yeah they are yeah yeah well we've sort of questioned that last few weeks i mean chelsea plus 100 last week wow what price um i don't think anyone expected them to go and win six nil but certainly expected they they're the ones that would be taking the the game to the opposition and so approved i don't i mean i've said this last year said this countless times i don't like this arsenal team i don't i'm not a particularly massive fan i understand that um facts and figures state that they do a very good job against the teams outside of the top three but yeah i just i just don't like them as a as a team i'm i'll question their sort of um leadership i would say um on the bridge you're off the pitch both really i'm not a massive arteta fan to witness i don't i think he's a bit like frank lampard he's been parachuted into a job he perhaps shouldn't doesn't deserve he should be cutting his teeth at a lower level um you know what credentials does he really have um but then he went for five years didn't he i have but not as an actual manager you know um you know that that um ding dong with aubameyang like from a financial perspective that's a horrendous piece of business to allow him to leave on a free transfer a guy that cost best part of 50 million and his taran terran you know terran laliga he's terrin tearing the uh you know madrid the the champions elect so absolute shreds in their own backyard like you know what an asset he would be at this stage of the season so yeah i i yeah i just don't like arsenal from uh as a whole but it's it's difficult to know over southampton care anymore i know i think i think deep down hassan who does but it's just as you say i mean given the fact that there was um you know a bit of voice at the beginning this season wasn't there questioning whether southampton were a relegation candidate yeah me even though it was you know given that they've stayed that off maybe you know they feel like they've achieved their target so i don't like it but i think there are arguments you could say that this arsenal minus 110 is a bet on the basis that southampton aren't interested no mark o'hare it's got to be arsenal nothing walk away leave it because i tell you what if spurs win which you expect they do because they had a home game against that side probably think they've done enough then they become six points behind and all of a sudden the top four is in trouble so arsenal got a showdown metal and to be fair arsenal have shown metal on the road in previous weeks surely they can't win this game at minus 110 it's a bet do you know i had this as a as a really easy pass you know i said i regretted being involved in the arsenal match last weekend because of the injury issues i thought there was enough warning signs to leave it alone i didn't paid for it and you know this is an arsenal team who are really reliant on quite a small group of players now um they've been really consistent in their starting elevens and just taking two key players out causes a lot of issues because nuno tavares isn't good enough really to be playing left back so they started granit xhaka at left back against brighton and that just creates even more problems because you've already got parte missing so you're effectively completely overhauling the midfield which has arguably been the most important aspect of arsenal during their the best run of the season um so i don't expect arteta to do the same this weekend i imagine tavares will probably come back in and jack will move to midfield but even still it's it's a concern uh lacazette is still out mark yeah i think so yeah so that that to me is an issue and lacazette who i've no problem with his goal scoring record i know he hasn't scored in 17 but he has become more of a foil in the link man these days but he's been a little bit ineffective again recently and it just feels like it requires a little bit of a refresh so you know our tester said he was concerned after the palace defeat he said very similar after the brighton defeat said they're very sloppy and this in theory is a really winnable match but i just wonder because southampton was spanked last weekend does that instigate a reaction from saints they might be on the beach of course but i i just wonder when a team have been absolutely humiliated on their own patch do they suddenly sort of try and sort of galvanize the group and say we need to put something right here and they get armando broja back as well he was in their legal last week so i do expect something better from saints um about yeah question marks over arsenal and you know i think if thomas parte was available i'd be very keen but you know compare arsenal's price this week to watch chelsea well last week and you know it's chalk and cheese really so a happy past for me yeah in the personnel uh department i like arsenal very much like chelsea that they've got players that will pass move i see this a little bit like remember we said watford versus also i know it ended up watford two arsenal three but it was like the game was over within the first 25 30 minutes because arsenal shifted the ball so quickly the big thing with southampton is they rely on their intensity and their work rate as a group you only need one or two of them because there's a member i used to say about you're only as strong as your weakest link in a chain well southampton have got two or three weak links and they got found out very very quickly because chelsea shifted the ball one thing arsenal can do on their day is shift the ball so i just think that arsenal do win this game and i i mean it's -110 i just gotta go with the because of the want southampton is like they don't need anything what are they doing they've got players yes they're all the good professionals but arsenal were they have got one of the biggest they've got their target still in sight from the starting season they were never going to win the premier league champions league was what they missed out on this year and that was their number one target let's have a little look at the official picks my computer is still well it's nearly there are someone said both teams of score uh arsenal evens just take it spurs and arsenal parley um anytime goal worth a shot uh i think he's due one so yeah you would guess that one he's 17 games without one 17 games and he's due who was that oh let me have a little guess see what i am saying who was it james lyons oh he's in he's new james is he new make sure you subscribed okay let's move on to game number three because this is a game where you've got to stay away from the money line if you go anywhere near the money Watford vs Brentford line on this one you are crazy because it's watford versus brentford two of them sides who will flex their muscles saying that we're better than you so there'll be very little respect so forget the money line i will go to it in a minute but you've got to be looking at the under over two and a half goals well over two and a half at plus one one five that would be good enough for most people the under is a minus 135 the draw could be a runner but a big score draw maybe two two that plus 230. um brentford to score twice he's at plus 160 watford to score twice is that plus 180 now if you are a nut no then you can go with watford at plus 190 to win brentford on the back of some really good performances remember they went to the european champions two weeks ago and scored four brentford at plus 160. uh mark o'hare break this down for me because i just see goals because there's no respect and i think that both of them turn up and go yeah we can have three points today yeah um i think from a watford perspective it's now or never really six points is the gap now between them and survival the teams above them have played a game less than watford and watford only have seven games to play so the pressure's really on and i think it's now the time where they actually have to start releasing those shackles play on the front foot which i think they've attempted to do in recent matches and just not really had a huge amount of reward for their efforts but uh their vicarage road form has been an utter disaster all season i think is nine defeats on the spin uh almost going to close to a premier league record in that sense but um they've got all their big hitters fit and available so there's no reason why they can't score a few few goals themselves here and make a game of it uh lander blow on a brentford team who bagged only two clean sheets and 16 playing away from home the flip side is can you trust watford defensively because they've conceded two or more goals and all four home matches under hodgson uh normally you sort of associate him with uh pretty decent uh defensive setup and system and across the whole season they've considered multiple goals in 11 or 15 at vicarage road so immediately drawn towards the goals angles brentford as good as safe but i don't expect them to down tools just yet i think that's kind of in thomas frank's nature to keep pushing they're playing good football as you say uh came through a nightmare schedule the signing of christian eriksen uh his introduction has certainly aided what they're doing in the final third um and they've won four of the last five scoring twice or more and four of those as well so you know big opposition mark as well big opposition yeah yeah for sure um so they're they're in a good good moment as as i say on the continent and uh if you just look at the raw numbers 67 percent of watford time games overs 62 of brentford's away days overs get the goal expectancy here is 2.5 we're getting plus money for over two and a half goals i'm i'm not really sure how or why and i'm presuming it's down to the hodgson factor but as i say it's absolutely pointless playing pragmatic football from here on in you have to start getting forward scoring goals and to have any sort of chance of survival so i think the the lay of the land and the situation the premier league is in or watford are in right now you know kind of supersedes any sort of notion that hodgson will play defensive and cautious football here because it it serves a nil draw here it doesn't do anyone any good so yeah i just think uh it's one of those moments where you just have to think that the odds are just wrong here and it should be a lot shorter than it is so yeah more than happy to to get over to enough goals or plus money when the premier league averages around 2.79 goals per game i bet you are i bet you are and i don't see either at least keeping a clean sheet neither martin luther king i think watford could win this very easily three one three two could be a free free draw i do not see under two and a half so that's just the conservative way but for i don't see one of the teams winning three nil so then you've got to go with boating to scorn over surely yeah i i don't see watford winning because of all the reasons kind of mark gave and the fact that they have lost the last nine home games um i think the signing of christian erickson let's let's not be about the bush eriksen not so long ago was on the cusp i'd say of being kind of you know world-class player he has the ability to to change games by himself yeah i think he's just uh giving brentford uh a fresh impetus for the rest of the season and that was very impressive the way they went to stanford bridge and scored four and uh yeah he just seems to be linking that midfield and attack now because with that three five two i think sometimes the two strikers get quite isolated and i think erickson is doing a great job of linking them together so yeah maybe you could take brentford on the the handicap because it's a pickum so you get your money back if it's a draw but uh yeah i really like the look of goals uh brentford other than the first few games of the season they've been they've been um they haven't been fantastic defensively i think mark mentioned about their lack of clean sheets and uh yeah we all know about watford's deficiencies in defense um you know watford's games average 2.87 goals which is above the premier league average and brentford's at 2.72 so it's just just slightly below but as mark mentioned the odds here suggest the input of what we're expecting the gold sphere just 2.5 so yeah lots of re lots of scope for going for the overs i'm taking the the bet slightly further though and just going to take over 2.25 goals at minus 125 just because i get half my state back then if there's a if there's only two goals so just a nice bit of extra security uh it just depends um what kind of better you are you know if you're a bit more adventurous then just take the straight over 2.5 or you'd like to be a bit more pragmatic then you can take the 2.25 because anyway you lose all your stake if there's zero or one goals and i think we'd all be in agreement there's not many people that will be taking under two goals what about if you're just a normal better and you say well what food ain't winning three nil brentford are not winning three nil if you think it's going to be over two you go with both teams to scoring over and if i i mean i'd love to be able to tell you what price that is but um i cannot i mean you sting maybe you can maybe you can tell me what price i i got for that because i think it was like plus 150 plus 160. um but there is good news good news is i'm now back in the room so i can see home of tick tock spurs uh maybe this is loading so maybe i'm still talking like last week honestly plus 150 both teams are scoring over i mean that's not great though marco here is it when you think you're asking both teams score and over at 150 and you're only getting like 35 cents more than just going straight over two and a half yeah i mean i i think i'd be more persuaded to take the the brentford goal line over one and a half goals plus 180 because i think that's watford's 160 brentford but i still i take what you say yeah yeah exactly and uh and not just that you know if we're looking for three goals and both teams are going to contribute the more likelihood is brentford are going to score the the two uh off the three so yeah that's the alternative yeah i i got to agree so maybe the uh brentford over one and a half goals at plus 160 is better than the over two and a half goals in the game because you're getting better price and you don't even need the third goal so a little look at the official pixel because we have got involved in this game um and it's over two and a half goals at plus one one five then you've got mr pragmatic of over two and 2.5 which is basically over 2.25 i've really got to sort that graphic out um and help out my boys minus 125 and for me it's both teams scoring over two and a half plus 150 but we wouldn't put anyone off of the the brentford team total over one and a half at plus 160. to be fair i wouldn't put anyone off for the watford one at plus 180 neither okay let's go to our final game because this is probably just that little bit step up in quality but i Newcastle vs Leicester think the same rules are going to apply it's newcastle versus leicester newcastle plus 125 leicester 235 which is just crazy uh over two and a half goals is at minus one one five with the under been at minus 105 again both of these teams like to be involved in games that score like plenty goals a draw at plus 240 leicester to score twice is plus 180 stinch leicester like would normally be what plus 135 and we're getting plus 235. yeah i agree this this is all being driven basically by the fact that leicester in uh europa conference league quarter final second lay against ps3 tonight which is nil nil from the first leg so the ties massively hanging in the balance so it's all being driven by that uh although having said that obviously last week newcastle were a similar price at home to wolves and we know the wolves are a better team i know newcastle won that match but we know wolves are a better team uh but we you know we thought the mitigating circumstances there were the lack of jiminez and nevers so yeah if you want to get involved with leicester it's definitely a line-up check we all know they've got fantastic talent going forward just depends how much thursday we'll take out them because obviously with no way goals anymore any draw tonight will lead us to uh extra time and then potentially penalties as well so just depends what shape leicester are in so um i'm kind of leaving that side of things alone but i definitely agree that plus 180 is massive isn't it i mean christa lester let's do it let's not forget very similar set of players won the premier league five six years ago similar the same set of players have been trying to get in the top four the last two seasons and it's not as if all of a sudden newcastle are fantastic defensively so uh yeah i think that plus 180 looks a big price but yeah just basically for me you're going to rinse and repeat as all season just basically taking the overs in leicester games uh minus 115 think i think this should be like the two 2.75 lines so that means that minus 115 in here i think should be like minus minus 130 minus 135 um leicester's strike record on over 2.5 goals in their games is uh 68 over the last 44 matches which is over uh further than the length of the season seven clean sheets in the last 44 games which is just mind-boggling for a team that has aspirations on finishing in the top four um when they concede goals is not just a single god tends to they tend to come in multiples consider two or more in 15 of the last 25 so you sort of marry that all together and over that period there's been 148 goals which is you know well over three again 3.36 and yet the goal odd to the driving the prices here is 2.7 expectancy so a million miles away in my mind um new cars aren't haven't quite been as sort of volatile as um as leicester have been uh under eddie howe but i think that's probably because they've put defense first in their quest to move away from the relegation zone which they've done admirably 10 points clear um but they're not completely safe so i don't think they'll be quite throwing in the towel here obviously they picked up that win against wolves last week but the last four games against liverpool city arsenal and burnley sides have all got something to play for so i think the upcoming matches against leicester palace and norwich i want to just finally confirm that safety i know you said you spoke to somebody in the know that said they're on the beach but um i think the beauty of the fact is leicester could score three by themselves you don't have to worry or at the same time they could easily concede three steve bruce's newcastle went to leicester last eight points called four you know steve bruce is a man that doesn't do attacking football no so yeah this fixture has been quite goal heavy uh in the last few years 21 scored in the last five meetings which is you know obviously above four a game and uh yeah leicester have done quite well in this matchup uh they've won four nil three nil and five now so yeah if leicester have got a reasonably strong team out and they haven't been pushed to extra time on thursday definitely have a look at leicester on the money line or probably the better bet is leicester over 1.5 goals and you don't care if they lose 4-2 without a doubt marco o'hare i say to you newcastle versus leicester one of these teams scores twice guaranteed who would you go for because you got newcastle at plus 115 or leicester that plus 180 and leicester could score twice and still not win the game so don't even go i mean listen that's plus 235 minus 145 it double chance i mean everything points to less than being the value but on the back of that europa league game on the thursday night is it gonna give them a hangover when they go to the northeast yeah that's uh something you have to bear in mind i'm going to be slightly different to two of you though i'm going to sort of talk up newcastle's chances um because they're at st james's park and they've won the last four there they've only lost four games at home all season if you look at the the record of eddie howe since he was appointed in early november in points return newcastle would be ranked eighth which is above leicester at home their record under him five wins four jaws just the one defeat they've conceded only 12 goals four of which were against man city early on and the other three sorry three were also in his first game so you know defensively they have improved significantly um going forward i still have a few doubts you know they've relied on a few set-piece goals quite recently but actually over the last 12 premier league games they're ranked fifth for expected points which is a crazy turnaround in fortunes really and kind of understands why the the prices are now quite short on newcastle uh obviously chuck in the leicester european commitments and you can see why uh they're kind of rated as reasonable outsiders here but yeah um stinch made a fantastic case for goals here and i can only echo it really newcastle when you fail to score in city and chelsea at home this season you fully expect them to score against the leicester team we've kept five clean sheets all season have prioritized the match against psv and i think whilst there's no european action next midweek i think it's quite telling what rogers said before the crystal palace match last week when he said that evans and fufana wouldn't be playing in the league game because they're two players key players who've been out for a long time of injuries he can't put too many minutes into their legs um you know of very short turnarounds really so both of those were missing or on the bench you had amateur and shoe uh you know a clown and a guy who's normally sort of associated in defensive midfield playing in defense they managed to beat palace because they've got so much attacking quality and kin and juice b hall was exceptional yet again and another player is that young boy yeah they've got such a a wonderful squad particularly in forward areas but defensively i just cannot trust them a team that's conceding two goals per game on average away from home they've only won three premier league games away from home all season uh and the only side they stopped scoring on their own patch was burnley who are probably the worst attacking team in the whole league as well so yeah i've got many reservations about leicester but as always lineup check but uh judging by roger rogers's comments last week uh i don't think we'll see evans and ferfano at center back if they both play i'll be surprised but i think that gives newcastle a great opportunity to get in amongst her get a couple of goals themselves but yeah wouldn't rule out leicester scoring a couple themselves either so overs was the obvious pick for this one for me okay well i need to see the official picks because we're it's on here for a reason and it means that someone's had
